Oracles: the bridge between blockchain and the exterior world
The benefit of blockchain is that it does not depend on third parties to resolve the trust problem, and smart contracts play a significant role inside it. Wise contracts may need to interact with the external world, but the blockchain cannot actively obtain real-world information. How to solve it?

All decentralized apps that require to interact with off-chain data have to use oracles, such as decentralized derivatives investing platforms, lending systems, stable certificates, insurance plan applications, casino apps, prediction markets, etc. The main function of the oracle is to provide reliable external information for smart contracts, and its own core value is to connect the blockchain using the external world on a credible basis. The workflow of the oracle within an ideal state is to accept demands, obtain information, and return information. The data resources that may be queried by oracles usually include Internet Web address links, search engines, information from various other blockchains, and information in the Interplanetary File System IPFS.
