Card of the day: The Raccoon and Sycamore (from the Woodland Wardens oracle deck by @jessicasroux).

I've always felt a kinship with raccoons and there were a lot of them living in the woods around our house growing up. I love their curious natures, and it is that aspect that is represented in this card. I believe that curiosity is one of the most powerful traits we can have. When used for good, it builds bridges between different cultures, it sparks innovation in science, and can help lead us down spiritual paths that provide us with solace and community.

The Sycamore also symbolizes that deep, inner drive to know more, to climb the tall branches for a better view, to understand everything. I thrive when I am among curious people, when they have that innate spark that leads them to ask questions and learn. People who are not curious tend to be closed minded, judgmental, and, honestly, boring. Don't be boring, be curious!
