I almost forgot about these but since I was playing around with making phone backgrounds, I placed many of my torchwood favs in a generator and made a thing with the eight who appeared. The only constant is that I tried to select a quote for each fella that I felt helped show who they are as a character.

Thinking About How Jack Waited Like 150 Years To See The Doctor Again And The Only Reason He Was In Cardiff Is Because He Was Waiting For Him But Then He Stayed So Long That It Started To Feel Like Home He Was Tortured And Killed Repeatedly For A Year And At The End Of It The Doctor Offered Him A Place In The Tardis But He Realized That Even Though The Tardis Used To Be Home To Him It Isn’t Anymore He’s Grown So Much And It Wouldn’t Feel Right Anymore So He Goes Back To Cardiff Where He Belongs Goes Back To Torchwood Goes Back To Ianto That’s His Home Now Not The Doctor Not The Tardis Not The 51st Century He Found A Place Where He Was Loved And Valued He Finally Found A Home

Every so often I remember the fact there is still a shrine to Ianto Jones in Cardiff Bay. A fictional guy. Whose onscreen death was like fifteen years ago. In a pretty much forgotten show.

I feel like I’m losing my mind,,, Ruby’s mom is so obviously herself from the future. In the last episode they say they can only get footage of her mom from 66 meters away… that is LITERALLY the entire plot of 72 yards. We’ve had an episode this season explicitly talking about it.

Either that or that detail of 66 meters and the plot of 72 yards tie into something else even bigger (which is admittedly more likely)
