En el 2017, TORUS conjuntamente con otros dos colegas impulsamos una estrategia comunicacional con la búsqueda de generar consciencia y visibilizar el potencial es espacios olvidados de los barrancos de la Ciudad de Guatemala.  Conseguimos el primer lugar en la Biennale Spazzio Pubblico de Roma.

In 2017, TORUS, together with two other architectural firms, promoted a communication strategy to generate awareness and visualize the potential in urban void spaces of the ravines of Guatemala City. Our work received a first place at the Biennale Spazzio Pubblico in Rome.

En nuestro continuo esfuerzo de apoyar a las instituciones municipales del país, aportamos este estudio espacial via animación sobre el impacto del paso del transporte público sobre la vía peatonal de la Sexta Avenida.

In our continuous effort to support local institutions in Guatemala TORUS provided this spatial study via 3D animation to study the impact of of public transport on the pedestrian lane of Sixth Avenue.

Hace unos años participamos en un concurso para una torre en la zona 4 de la Ciudad de Guatemala.  TORUS se enfocó en la dinámica urbana que debía definir el contenido de la arquitectura.

Durante el 2016-2017, TORUS fue contratado para realizar el desarrollo del plan maestro del Centro Cultural Santo Domingo, en el Centro Histórico de la Ciudad de Guatemala.   La estrategia programática se basó en estudios posteriores de arqueología  e históricos del uso del Convento Dominico.

During 2016-2017, TORUS was hired to design  the master plan of the Santo Domingo Cultural Center, in the Historic Center of Guatemala City. The programmatic strategy was based on subsequent archaeological and historical studies of the use of the Dominican Convent.
