Amy Walsh is such an incredible actress. She鈥檚 probably the only female actor on the show who can deliver on par with Ryan or Danny right now.

I don鈥檛 personally think it was Tracy consciously trying to be this white knight. I feel like its in Tracy鈥檚 characterization to be overly involved in everyone鈥檚 life. The way she hijacked the call for the interview earlier in the episode is a good reflection of this. I can understand her naivety because she鈥檚 never had to live that day in day out.聽

Feminism is not letting shitty, disgusting women get away with shitty, disgusting things just because they鈥檙e women and that鈥檚 why the Leyla, Tracey and Priya team-up to take down Maya is so important.

Billy clearly saying to Tracey that it wasn鈥檛 helping was so necessary. He didn鈥檛 want a scene. He didn鈥檛 need her to step in. He handled it and moved on. Billy is the one that has to live like this, he should at least get to choose how he deals with the racism he is forced to confront.

One of the things I鈥檝e genuinely enjoyed about Tracy鈥檚 storyline is how incredibly she鈥檚 dealt with every single thing that鈥檚 come up.
Yes, she felt a lot of shame at the beginning, but she鈥檚 moved past that and begun to own her past as a sex worker. When Phil tried to blackmail her into sleeping with him, she looked him up and came up with a plan to record and expose him. Instead of worrying about what people might think of her if this news about her past came out, she chose to go ahead and press charges. When it鈥檚 come time to tell the people in her life about her past, she鈥檚 done so with a lot of grace and calm. When she was told that her coming forward was what allowed another woman to do so, she was happy her actions helped someone else. (And that Phil changed his plea to guilty.)
I was a bit apprehensive when this storyline first started, because I was nervous the show would have the other characters shame her, but all the support she鈥檚 received so far has been amazing.
