Johnny Mnemonic (1995) had Olga Dimitrov as costume designer. Whilst the bulk of the costume department's work would have went into the 'Lo Teks' and their scrappy outfits.

However, then there's Udo Kier's turn as the duplicituous gangster Ralfi and his two bodyguards, Pretty and Yomamma (played by Tracy Tweed and Falconer Abraham). The bodyguards outfits could be bought kinky dresses, but Kier's golden nehru jacket is bespoke, surely?

Happy birthday to Tracy Tweed! Tweed guest-starred as the Amazon Dahla in the syndicated “Tarzan” television series episode “Tarzan and the Amazon Women,” starring Wolf Larson and Lydie Denier.

Tracy Lee Tweed was born May 10, 1965, in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, the youngest of seven children, including older sister, actress Shannon Tweed. Standing six feet tall, Tracy worked as a model and guest-starred on television series “Fly by Night,” “Who’s the Boss,” “Harry and the Hendersons,” and “Ellen." She also appeared in the films “Live Wire” (1992), “Night Rhythms” (1992), “Night Eyes Three” (1993), and “Johnny Mnemonic” (1995), and made recurring appearances on “Gene Simmons: Family Jewels,” a reality show about her sister Shannon’s family with KISS bandmember Gene Stanley. Tracy has three children: daughter Emily Tweed and twin sons Jake and Hunter Tweed.

Donna Pinciotti-Forman, in the 80s...

-At UW Madison, she majors in journalism and communications, and minors in political science. She's super active in the political scene on campus, and starts to become a budding activist.

-She works as a print journalist in the mid-80s (and beyond), and gets enveloped in whatever political scene she encounters. Coffee is her second husband (after Eric, of course).

-She and Eric get engaged again circa 1980, and have an impromptu courthouse wedding in the mid-1980s (not because Donna got pregnant). For their parents, they make it "official" in the Formans' backyard.

-Eric insists on having The Beatles as their soundtrack for the wedding, and he constantly compares them to Paul and Linda. It's better than being compared to Luke and Leia (he stopped that in '83, anyway, for obvious reasons).

-She loves Fleetwood Mac, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, and Tracy Chapman. And something about Don Henley's "Dirty Laundry" is strangely prophetic, but Eric keeps blasting "The End of the Innocence" instead (*groans*).

-She jokes that Eric is a "dude that looks like a lady."

-She loves shoulder pads and tweed, both of which Jackie hates (something about how it makes women look like fancy linebackers).

-She wears mom jeans before she even becomes a mom (by the end of the decade). In my verse, she has Kate circa '86 and Leah pops out on New Year's Day, '90.

-Eric is traumatized by Luke and Leia being twins. Donna jokes if they ever have twins, she'll name them Luke and Leia. Eric is horrified, and tries to prove that he (Luke) and Donna (Leia) aren't related, by researching their respective family trees. They're thirteenth cousins.

-Eric and Donna travel a lot in the summer, while they're out of school. Eric tries to use Star Wars locations as a travel guide (and it largely works). He's thrilled to visit Tatooine (aka, Tunisia).

-She hates Reagan, but Mondale isn't all that much better (while Eric still has a soft spot for Carter). Meanwhile, Eric doesn't like the Star Wars program, despite its name.

weird kiss things

paul stanley’s ex girlfriends include but are not limited to: *lydia’s cousin *shannon tweed’s sister, tracy tweed (after her breakup with, wait for it, diana ross’ brother-- and, of course, diana is one of gene’s exes) *cher’s sister, georganne lapierre (dated her while gene was dating cher)

bobby mcadams, kiss’ former hairstylist (1974- circa 1980 or 1981), used to cut gordon gebert’s hair and has known gordon since he [gordon] was 12. (later co-authored kiss and tell with him.)

bobby states that he worked for ace again as his personal assistant in the mid-2000′s (on ace’s invitation), and ace never, ever mentioned kiss and tell that entire time. (neither did jeanette.) ace did, however, ask him about wendy moore’s book. bobby assured him that he came out of that book “smelling like roses.” i doubt if ace believed him. 

the number of kiss/kiss-adjacent people (not including relatives, e.g. paul’s sister, ace and peter’s siblings) who knew og kiss pre-kiss (what a mouthful) currently above ground continues to dwindle, but those include but hopefully aren’t limited to:

*lydia criss (peter’s first wife) *jeanette frehley (ace’s wife) *bruce kulick (older brother bob kulick was buddies with paul and gene-- actually went to yeshiva with gene-- and, had it not been for ace, would have probably gotten the lead guitarist gig in kiss; bob later became a ghost/session musician for kiss off and on) *bobby mcadams (first employee on kiss’ payroll)

my criteria for “pre-kiss” is basically “knew the band (not just individual members) before it got a name,” in order, basically, to keep from having to count the various people in wicked lester, molimo, and chelsea, as well as all of gene’s high school/college buddies. gene actually had a lot of friends in those days.

Omdat deze week de Tweede Kamerverkiezingen zijn, draaide ik ter voorbereiding daarvan in deze uitzending twee uur lang alleen maar nummers die iets met politiek te maken hebben. Deels samengesteld uit verzoekjes van luisteraars, en natuurlijk met eigen suggesties van mezelf.
