Episode 93 – Applying the archers triangle when coaching
In this episode I explore how the concepts round the archers triangle can be applied to help archers.
The archers triangle is a concept I have used for several years to help explain the shooting process and steps. If you are interested feel free to check out the website for more details son how I apply the Archers triangle for helping archers suffering from target panic. In essence the triangle…
It's a hybrid (so not quite flatbow but not recurve). Good power and efficiency while still having the flatbow feel to it. I wanted something that would zip without losing the flatbow style I had learned to shoot with.
Just spent 4 days working on this, made a medieval archery target. While I saw many were often made of straw, I've also noticed a number of ones others had online made of coiled rope. Ended up being $26 for the rope and twine, and is two layers thick here (two of these coiled circles sewed together). I can't say stitching 1" thick rope together with twine and a huge needle is overly exciting or fun, I'm glad I have a good target now instead of just shooting a haybale.
