TIIPS FOR TRANSONEEYED PEEPS , OR PEOPLE WHO WANT ONE OF THEIIR EYES TO BE BLINDED ? ?

this one i got help from a couple of our transblind headmates and one of our transoneeyed headmates. heres our transoneeyed (with some transblind) advice.

eyepatches are a good way to hide the eye underneath especially since beings will assume that something is wrong with the eye under the eyepatch which can help with passing.

glasses can also work out. fully black lens glasses can be harder to find, but painting over the lens will work fine to.

contact lenses could give the appearance of missing an eye depending on what you can find. just make sure to use contacts safely!

practice being able to live out your daily life with only vision in one eye. it can be pretty hard at first but will become easier once you figure it out.

watch youtube videos or documentaries about the lives of those who have lost an eye or have became blind. they can be pretty insightful to learning.

seek out others who are also on the blind spectrum. the blind community is generally very accepting of everyone no matter how visually impaired you are. both cisblind and transblind folks can be cool and are worth trying to find either irl or online.
