Lil update on Stardew Stu. It's a bit lengthy so I apologize in advance!

Got his overworld sprites roughly done as well as the angry portrait sprite! I tried to make his flower dance outfit based off the Tranz music video. Pixel art isn't my strong suit so these are very amateur. He is so... box shaped.

With that, I'm gonna hold off on the mod for a bit cause I think there's an update coming out that adds more to the game including winter outfits. I haven't even finished his beach attire. (I'm doing the Humility outfit but I could do a Plastic Beach variant.) Also had been less testing and more playing the game so much I burnt myself out a bit.

It's a whole lot, but seemed like a fair amount of you guys liked it so I wanted to share what I managed to finish so far. I promise this'll be the last of it for a bit but thank you for looking! It means a lot! <3

I was able to screenshot my favorite heart event as well as some of the marriage dialogue. That, though, heads up: it's self-indulgent and I understand if seeing that is a bit iffy for people.

I forgot how adorable Sebastian's heart events were. I've also never married in Stardew so this just sent me to the moon when I was playing through. I feel I don't have to edit too much aside from throwing in an occasional 'Love' or 'Darling'

I also made it so he has to crouch when he kisses you. :3c

Heavily debated on it cause they're (or my farmer, I mean) only 3 inches shorter than 2-D and this was meant to just be a silly personal project. But it's cute so it stays.

1. Falling Down The Stairs Of Your Smile- The New Pornographers. Broadly speaking I think everyone should listen to every song by The New Pornographers, but I hold that recommending something off a bands most recent album serves as an endorsement that they’ve remained good over their entire twenty year career rather than having two good ones and then devolving into an artistic shell of their former self

2. Leave Her Alone- Steven Page. Extremely strong encapsulation of the post-undergrad living-with-ones-parents torpor, which, due to being written by a fifty-something, speaks really strongly to my sense that there’s nothing new under the sun. And he really, really took the singing/songwriting talent with him in the divorce from BNL

3. Restless Year- Ezra Furman. I really like her screaming voice!

4.  Caroline- Brandi Carlile + Elton John. No notes on this one

5. Machine Politics- Waterflame. Great anxiously-pacing-in-a-circle music! Also I love the pixel art on all their videos.

Jokes aside, I adore the animation that goes into their music videos so much. As cool as their 3D models are, the 2D animation forever sticks for me. Especially Feel Good Inc and Humility.

i redid my gorillaz ranking :P

little notes abt my rankings and also some random trivia under the cut:

- Cracker Island (the album) wasn’t on here for some reason but it’s ranked #9 in the album ranking, in between G-Sides and The Now Now

- While Meanwhile... only has 3 songs, and I really don’t like one out of the three, it’s ranked #6 on the album ranking because I love Meanwhile and Deja Vu THAT much

- I listened to Left Hand Suzuki Method for the first time on a Gorillaz edit video almost 6 years ago, not knowing it was a Gorillaz song

- I used to not like Stylo or Oil, but I was WRONG THEYRE SO GOOD

- Tip: Please listen to my top tier songs they’re so good

- The Pink Phantom is one of my grandma’s favorite gorillaz songs :) (her other favorite is Clint Eastwood)

- I only very recently listened to the english version of Latin Simone, and while both are very good, the spanish version (Que Pasa Contigo) is better imo

- If I had a nickel for every time I was in a hair salon when a new Gorillaz music video dropped, I would have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice right? (first time was with Tranz (i didnt have my headphones so i just watched the video not knowing what the song sounded like), second time was with Tormenta)

- I had gotten Russel’s version of the Song Machine cassette for my birthday, and I got sad when i realized it didn’t have Desole on it. A few weeks later after listening to all the bonus tracks, I got super excited when I realized that two of my favorite tracks (MLS and Opium) were on it instead

- I didn’t realize that Beck was the guy that made Loser and Hell Yes until my brother told me

- I love when songs transition into each other so im just going to tell you about every song transition i know about in each album:

1. On Self Titled, New Genius (Brother) is supposed to transition into Clint Eastwood, but save for a couple versions of the album, New Genius cuts off before it can transition

2. On Demon Days, Dirty Harry transitions into Feel Good Inc. with the laughter, and Don’t Get Lost in Heaven transitions into Demon Days (the song) with the violins

3. On Plastic Beach, Orchestral Intro transitions into Welcome to the World of the Plastic Beach, Superfast Jellyfish transitions into Empire Ants, and To Binge transitions into Cloud of Unknowing with the sounds of waves crashing on a beach and then it transitions into Pirate Jet

4. On Humanz, The Non-Conformist Oath Interlude transitions into Submission which then transitions into Charger, and Andromeda transitions into Busted and Blue
