I shamefully did not know about Northwest Harbor County Park until only two weeks ago. How did it escape me all this time? I haven’t the slightest idea!!! It’s crazy! I know! ... Situated at the mouth or the Peconic River and Northwest Harbor this shoreline park offers a beautiful scenery with opposite shoreline, Barcelona Point. I loved it! ... So I finally made it there at the end of my day yesterday and I was once again in awe of what’s here in the Hamptons! A must visit in Montauk - the Montauk County Park. Formerly known as Theodore Roosevelt County Park, it is 1,157 acres in size, running from Montauk Highway north to Block Island Sound and is bordered on the east by Montauk Point State Park. Pausing and mentally reviewing the past week. It went by so fast 💨 Since the social distancing and quarantine went into effect I had expected time to slow down lol (you know what I mean), but it didn’t slow down and neither have I, and I realize how important it is to pause, not to take a break, but just to breathe and recentrer myself and verify that what I am doing this day or this moment is worthy of my time and energy, and that it serves a good purpose. Yesterday was National North Dakota Day and I write a blog on 8 reasons why I’m want to visit Tge state whose state drink is milk! As a baby travel blogger I so look forward to explore more of this beautiful and blessed country we live in - I paused to look at the map of the USA and felt it inexplicable awe, love, and gratitude for this country and its states, for all the people in it who are doing their best to bring the pandemic to a halt - God Bless America has a deeper meaning for me. At the end of my pause and as I resumed completing my entry on ND, I received a message asking me to represent their brand in their launch this summer! How does that happen? I was an ambassador to the Chinese community in French Polynesia at some point in my youth - I was 17, and ended up working for a big Chinese company for many years which taught me a lot about how to do business within that culture. My maternal grandfather was from Hong Kong 🇭🇰 and did not approve; nonetheless, it was a great learning experience which serves me still today in the ways I do business sometimes. Appa is the best traveling buddy because he is like me, curious, social, and loves to eat great food! As for us, this social distancing has been a bit challenging for him too and the long rainy days because he doesn’t get to go anywhere! Start of a new week which ends with Easter 🐣 🌸🌸How will you celebrate this year? 🌸🌸 Last year I celebrated amongst friends in Southampton, with a gigantic spread that fed about 20 people. We feasted all afternoon into late evening and exchanged fabulous stories of travels and funny anecdotes. Just nothing but good times and grateful to be amongst friends, just good people, good vibes, good everything. This year will be different of course.
