Author Bio

Claudie Arseneault is an easily-enthused aromantic and asexual writer with a never-ending cycle of obsessions but an enduring love for all things cephalopod and fantasy (together or not!). She writes stories that centre platonic relationships and loves large casts and single-city settings, the most notable of which are the City of Spires series (2017-2023) and Baker Thief (2018).

In addition to her own fiction, Claudie has co-edited Common Bonds (2021), an anthology of aromantic speculative short stories. She is a founding member of The Kraken Collective, an alliance of self-publishing SFF authors, and the creator of the Aromantic and Asexual Characters Database.

Mod opinion: I haven't heard of this book before, but it sounds like an interesting fantasy story.

Na dnešek bylo v plánu fitko a plavání. Od rána naprostá lenost..to co se mi stávalo bezne, po cca 3 týdnech pravidelného cvičení se vždycky nějak nechtělo a já se na to vykaslala..jenže tentokrat to bylo jiný a já nechtěla zklamat sebe (a měsíční plán taky ne 😂). Nakonec jsou pocity smíšené, ale převládají ty lepší. Ve fitku opět pecka. Na rozehrati 10 minut veslování trenazer a opět o par sekund lepší (ale rozdejchvala jsem to asi hodinu 😂😂) poté jsem se vrhla na sérii (5kol po 10opak) drepu, výpadu, cviků na trisla a vyponu. Nasledoval "oblíbeny" plank 5x20s a poté opět 5 sérii cviků po 10 na břicho. No na konci to byl fakt masakr 😂😂 (viz foto vpravo nahore😂), následovalo klasické protazeni a přesun na plavecak. Vyzkoušený nové plavky a prvních 10 bazénu jsem měla pocit, ze plavu naha 😂😂😂 ale plavalo se mi skvěle..do jiste doby, kdy jsem se fakt vytocila..to radši ani rozebírat nebudu.
