I think that New Squiffer fucking rules. It is genuinely one of the coolest weapons in the game.

Squiffer has always been a really interesting weapon, being this weird mobile mid-range sniper, but it wasn't until we got this kit that it's true potential was fully unleashed because now we're dealing with a sniper with a grappling hook. Good New Squiffer players can do some of the craziest highlight reel-worthy stuff possible, and I just think that is super duper rad. What a perfect kit.

i'm actually against zipcaster on squiffer because it would fail to live up to the hype, not being what everyone's making it out to be. it'd only be used for sick clips and be useless otherwise since it'd be too vulnerable, with too high a risk for very little reward, ending up only zipping into people which defeats the purpose of pairing it with that main weapon. put zip on bamboo instead, where it'd actually work! this above scenario is the one thing zip squiffer would be better at

Honestly, getting sniped by hardened cheese going 100 mph from a sling is not nearly as sad as Cú Chulainn killing someone by squeezing literal shit out of their body in front of their homies. Halo Infinite Update Nerfs Grenades and Power Weapon Spawns

343 Industries outlines its Halo Infinite update for mid-February, which includes grenade nerfs, a reduction in power spawns for Ranked Arena, and a direct response to the ‘drop weapon meta’ employed by competitive players looking to climb the Halo Infinite ranks. There’s also some nice buffs for the S7 Sniper and a number of bug fixes for the FPS game. Halo Infinite community manager John ‘Unyshek’ Junyszek shares the big details coming with the next Halo Infinite patch, though says players can expect full patch notes to arrive when the update releases. He explains, “The updates in this patch are the direct result of player feedback online and community reported issues on the Halo Support site.” Weapon racks in Ranked Arena are a primary focus, as 343 addresses feedback that there is “too much power on the map in Ranked Arena” due to the high respawn rate and generous ammo count on many weapons. As such, weapon racks will now only provide one weapon at a time, being set to a ‘red rack’ state after a weapon is picked up and staying that way until the original weapon has despawned. Junyszek adds, “As for ammo reductions on the weapons themselves in Ranked, players should expect those to come for the Heatwave, Stalker Rifle, CQS48 Bulldog, and Shock Rifle with the launch of season 3.” These changes should hopefully shake up the best Halo Infinite guns for multiplayer somewhat, lessening the effect that grabbing one has on how long you can run roughshod over the competition. Halo Infinite update - a Spartana aims down the sights of an S7 Sniper rifleA Halo Infinite frag grenade nerf comes in the form of a reduction to their overall damage radius, which Junyszek says “should help reward skilled frag grenade placement while also addressing the concerns around grenade spam effectiveness in gameplay.” There’s also a direct response to the ‘drop weapon meta,’ where players are dropping their weapons instead of switching out to their secondary due to faster ready up times. “Nearly every top player was doing it,” Junyszek explains, “so we’ve made sure the weapon ready up time after a dropped weapon matches the speed of swapping between weapons normally.” Finally, there’s some fairly significant tweaks to improve the no-scope error angle for the S7 Sniper, which means it will be more accurate when firing from the hip. Junyszek notes that the current properties “were in line with previous Halo titles, but we’ve seen the requests to make it even more accurate when firing from the hip.” Good news for all you trickshotters out there, then. This Halo Infinite update arrives on February 15, with full patch notes expected at that time. Also included are improvements to client and server stability, along with reductions on semi-automatic weapons jamming and fixes to a visual glitch causing them to appear as if they were double-firing. Anti and Angus (Anti’s point of view)

(let me start by saying, this is kind of the same as my Anti and Angus thing a  wrote, except it goes more in depth into Anti side of the story. and also mind fuck towards the ends.)

Anti began to exist. It was a scary time. He was confused. What was he? Why was he here? But the one thing that made him feel better was Angus. Angus was nice to him. He explained everything. Anti was an ego. Anti wasn’t solid, he was more like an idea, a representation of what could be if enough people knew about him. He was made by a community in the image of Jacksepticeye. Anti met Jack too. Jack seemed quite hesitant to talk or get near Anti. Anti never understood why. He spent most of his time with Angus. Angus was his only real friend. They were rarely ever apart. Angus made Anti happy, he would do anything for him. But deep down in his core, Anti felt something. An urge. A desire. A desire to destroy. He would look around him at the beauty of the world and feel that feeling. That feeling made him want to kill it all. To destroy everything. Anti didn’t want to do any of that, so he pushed those urges down. He began to play small, harmless pranks. They made him feel better. The pranks never got worse than the gatorade in a windex bottle trick. But the urges never went away. There was always that burning and intense rage. The want, no, the need to destroy everything he laid his eyes upon. He looked at Jack and imagined slitting that pretty little neck of his and he’d smile at the thought. The thought of blood and destruction made him smile. He would even look at Angus and want to kill him. He was horrified of the thought. He tried his hardest to suppress the urges, but as the idea of an Antisepticeye became more popular, they only got stronger. Everything he looked at he wanted to tear apart. He became afraid- terrified of the idea that he might hurt Angus. So he withdrew, spending less and less time with his only friend. But one day he noticed Angus was acting different. His Australian accent had become less thick. He was less energetic. And it was downhill from there. Angus forgot more and more. Each day he lost more of who he was. He was being forgotten by the community. Anti didn’t know what to do to make them remember. So he was forced to watch as his only friend disappeared. In his desperation he’d asked Jack to do more with Angus, but even Jack barely remembered him. Anti was afraid. Would he be next? But after the fear came the fury. How could they just forget him? How could they just let him disappear from their minds? How could they let him die?! Anti began to lose it. All the urges he’d been suppressing for so long were bubbling towards the surface, but he didn’t care. He fell deeper and deeper into insanity. More ego’s began to show up. Anti despised them all. With each new ego, Angus was forgotten even more. He wanted all of them to die. First a super hero. A ridiculous person in red. No- they weren’t people, they were creatures, contributing to the loss of Angus and any small chance he had left. The hero should be stabbed in the skull. Then a magician. Hopelessly cheery and sickeningly sweet. He should be killed by his trusting nature. Then a doctor. A German creature. Egotistical and stupid. He should be convinced to kill himself. These creatures caused Anti to begin to fade. The community was forgetting him. No! He wouldn’t be forgotten! He was the only one left who remembered Angus. If he died, Angus’s memory would too. So Anti made a choice. He slithered his way into Jack’s head, something he didn’t know that he could do. And he glitched the facecam of the Sister Location video. The community started talking about him. He gained more power the more people talked about him. On Halloween he took over for the first time. The community exploded. They made theories and art, giving him the attention he needed. He gained a solid form, but at a cost. The community saw him as a demon that lived in Jack’s head, so that’s where he would remain. Over time, people moved on from him. But he couldn't have that! He needed that power! So he got them talking again. What Anti was doing stopped being about keeping Angus’s memory alive and became a lust for power. He became obsessed with keeping the attention. It got more and more extreme, until he had scarred the community, even when he wasn’t around they talked about him out of fear and paranoia. Even when two new creatures came around, a fatherly trickshotter and a zombie, the community still talked about him. Anti became so obsessed with attention that he forgot about Angus. He’d lost his mind and forgotten his only friend, not knowing that Angus was still around, watching Anti fall deep into madness. Death, destruction, and attention are all he wants. And all you out there reading this are helping. Every time you talk about him. Every time a certain holoqueen theorizes and makes her holograms, he gains power. And every time that you say his name, someone new finds out about him, and that give him what he wants. You are all puppets. We are all puppets. I hope your happy.

So, this was just something I wanted to write. it’s just a little more in depth about the whole Anti and Angus thing and it ended up getting way more mind-fucky at the end then I intended.

Everything you need to know about the Fortnite World Cup Creative Finals

The eyes of the esports world are turning towards the Fortnite World Cup and its $30 million prize pool.

But there is another major event taking place alongside the World Cup, and it is very unique and hasn’t received the same press.

The Fortnite Creative World Cup has been revealed in pieces and crucial parts are still being announced for it. Five trials took place earlier in the year (listed below) and the Creative Finals are now about to kick off on July 26!

The Creative Finals will feature eight teams of four battling it out on maps created specifically for the event. The teams are comprised of major influencers and their chosen recruits from the previously mentioned Trials.

One of the best parts of the Creative World Cup is that players of many different skill sets can qualify. Using those skills to maximum effect will net them a piece of the $3,000,000 dollar prize pool.

The skills that make you good at random minigames may not be the same as the ones that make people stand out in BR matches which means the Creative World Cup is many players’ best chance to win some money. So far we have seen speedrunning, strategy and trick-shotting.

Creative Finals Schedule and Details

The Creative Finals take place on July 26

The format for the Creative Finals hasn’t been elaborated upon by Epic Games past stating that the teams will play on ‘Fortnite-themed fan experiences.’ We presume these will be maps designed to test a variety of skills and carve out winners from the pack. Additional information will be available when the event goes live.

The prize pool for the Creative Finals is $3,000,000 dollars. Prize splits have not been announced.

The Creative Finals broadcast begins at 12:30 PM EST on Friday, July 26. The whole event will last about 3-4 hours based on Epic’s scheduling.

Creative Finals Players & Teams

The Creative Finals will feature eight teams of four players. Each team will be lead the ‘Captain’ along with their three chosen recruits. Each team has been given a color and unique name to help viewers differentiate between the teams easily.

How to qualify for the Fortnite Creative World Cup

There were five unique events in which you could qualify for the Fortnite World Cup Creative Finals. Each one was judged by a notable name in the Fortnite community. Called captains, these players were announced one-by-one to hype the events.

These captains helped build unique creative challenges and then judged the winners, eventually selecting three each.

How the judging works changed from event to event, and was based on the captain’s discretion.

What were the five Creative World Cup trials?

The first judge was Cizzorz, who has made Fortnite Creative a staple of his channel with his popular Death Runs. Even though he is an exceptional creator of Creative worlds, Epic still provides more builders to help make these World Cup qualifying events truly intense.

This interview we did with Cizzorz talks about his motivation behind the Death Runs and provides some clarity as to what the judges are thinking about in these trials.

As the first judge, Cizzorz qualified the first three players. They are: Hiimtylerh, zandYT, and Suezhoo.

The second judge was YouTuber Lachlan who’s popular channel has incorporated Creative maps into events. Builders @wertandrew and @DolphinDomYT built his unique escape map. Check out the preview video below:

The third judge was Ninja, who tweeted on May 13th that he would be hosting a trial in “trickshotting.”

Fortnite has a ton of fun ways to hit unique trick shots so it will be interesting to see how Ninja incorporates those into his map.

The winners of this trial will have to be creative with the shots they take and the winning shots will definitely be absolutely insane.

Fourth Trial

French streamer and gaming icon, Gotaga, will be hosting the fourth Creative Trial. The course in question seems to be a parkour style map.
