42- What fantasy author(s) inspires you the most (published or not)?

There are a handful that inspire me!

J.K Rowling is a big one, since her stories have been the most captivating for me. Terry Pratchett's stories are hilarious but also still have that same magic and wonder (Wee Free Men is one of my all time favorites).

Someday I hope to make a world as captivating as the worlds these authors have made!

1. Is there a story you’re holding off on writing for some reason?

A lot, though mostly Valse Melancolique -- I’m terrified of disappointing people, and I also hate saying goodbye to a story I’ve put so much time and effort in.

10. Write in silence or with background noise? With people or alone?

Often I write with the background noise of music (or natural sounds, like woodland or rivers) because silence and I don’t get on. I prefer to write alone because sometimes when you have to enact a love scene to figure out choreography, it’s far less awkward to do it alone.

22. Are there any subjects that make you uncomfortable to write?

Writing for me is cathartic, so I do like writing subjects that might make me uncomfortable because I can work through it. However, I do have certain squicks which I won't write (tentacle, for instance, is a big one).
