how do the various brothers react to each of the different branch and who would they be jealous of mainly if more than one person?

Rock Branch: :3 Secret

Classical Branch: JD namely but all of them a bit think Branch is putting on an act/goofing off a bit. They don't think he's like this 24/7. They'd likely be most jealous of Trollzart since this Branch doesn't have a sibling relationship.

Country Branch: They also think he's putting on an act, but less so than Classical AU. They also think the accent is fake. They think he takes things too seriously, but also view that seriousness as childish. They'd be jealous of Delta and Clampers, though they can't be TOO jealous of Clampers since she's a kid.

Funk Branch: Funk Branch they think is one of the most 'normal' and treat him a bit similar to canon Branch in pretending he's not changed. When he says something they find off, they ignore it or brush past it. As you know they're most jealous of Prince D.

Techno Branch: They switch between thinking he's the same Branch as ever and super weird. He's Pop but to the left to them. Just when they think he's the same excitable kid, Branch rejects their way and does it the Techno way. They're most jealous of Trollex and Synth.

The second son of Prince Riff and Councilman Synth, and one of the most wild party animals ever seen. Loud, excitable, with boundless amounts of energy, Viper is always out partying, dancing the night away and performing for the masses.

Viper works as a DJ, hosting raves all over Trollstopia and beyond. King Trollex was a big inspiration for him, and always dreamed of being able to host parties like he does. When he gifted his first mixboard at ten, Viper set out to become the best DJ the world had ever seen, and he’s quite successful in that regard. The Techno Trolls even refer to him as the “Phantom Prince of Techno”, since he’s so good at it.

When he isn’t partying, practicing, or planning his next rave, Viper can be found resting at home. He doesn’t chill out often since he’s such a social butterfly, but when he does, he’ll help around the house or hang out with his parents. He occasionally will go out swimming in Techno Lagoon, just for swimming’s sake.

Viper is a Techno troll through and through, with a splash of EDM in there for fun. He loves how loud it is, how scattered it is, and how he can mix it up to make it sound however he wants it to. Ever since he saw Synth perform at a rave in Techno Lagoon, and later on King Trollex in Techno Reef, Viper fell in love with the sound.

Despite how social he is, Viper is very close with his family. He won’t ever admit it, but he cried a lot when Hatchet moved out. He’s very close with his sibling, Lantern, and the two can be found brainstorming new songs together on his off days.

Viper currently resides in Trollstopia, but can be found frequently in Techno Reef.

Fun Facts!

- Viper is super close with Finley, son of King Trollex and John Dory. With Trollex and Synth being good friends, the two grew up knowing each other well. Viper has attempted to help Finley understand Techno music, but to no avail. He does his best to support the young troll, hating to see how lost he is music wise. He’ll sometimes play slower, softer songs to make him feel better

- Viper has a unique ability compared to his siblings, as he’s actually bioluminescent. When deep underwater, several patterns on his skin will begin to glow brightly. He even has this weird ability to make his skin a bit translucent, showing off his internal organs. He doesn’t do this often though, since it takes a lot of energy

- Opposite to Hatchet, Viper hates heat, the sun, sand, all the desert stuff. His body was built more Techno, making him more adapt to watery, cooler environments. Whenever he visits Hatchet in Lonesome Flats, he’s always got a huge water bottle on him that he dumps over himself every hour or so

And that’s Viper! Wanted to make an absolute party animal, and Viper was the candidate! He actually has an important role story-wise, especially regarding Finley, my Trollx/JD baby, but it’ll be revealed later on~

Techno Troll HC's

(Since the movie and show don't touch on any of the other tribe's besides pop, hard rock and country western. I'm making up my own headcanons)

Warning: reproductive organs and anatomy

Techno Trolls get very delirious in cold weather. They can be in the cold for a short period, but they need to have some sort of heat otherwise things get weird

Poppy found this out when she noticed Synth wearing his bowl of cereal for a hat and right after screaming about his toes being gone

Instead of blushing like most, they glow brighter

Techno Trolls need to stay moist otherwise they get very dry skin. Bathrooms around Trollstopia have certified spray rooms to keep them damp

They're kind of like hummingbirds. Their heartbeat can reach up to 128 beats per minute, but as they sleep it slows to 45-50 beats per minute

Caffeine crazed fish is what they are

It is kind of hard to get fat in the ocean. When you're swimming all day, the fat burns off. But that doesn't mean there aren't any on the heavy side

Techno Trolls give birth out of their nether regions, not their head like the Pop and Hard Rock Trolls. They give birth after 1-2 months and then wait another couple of days, a week, or 2 depending on the egg

The ocean isn't all that fun like the pop lands, King Trollex had his fair share of fencing off predators. Most predators are chased away if possible, and if not they get added to their various diets of fish and kelp

Trollex is the eldest of his siblings, Synth being the youngest out of 10

Royalty and high officials wear special scrunchies, King Trollex has tri-color puff bulb hair tie or he adorns a crown. While ambassadors and nobles wear less attractive or unnoticeable hair ties

Residents live in copious styles of houses

Houses made from hardened sand structures and rock pillars, coral homes, and drift wood

I would imagine the royal palace being like the one from SpongeBob where king triton lives

LowNote Jones is known to be the world’s grooviest Troll. But when suddenly, he was shown to lost his funkiness from being in a sad mood, his friends tried to figure out why and how they can cheer him up

2: Tiny and Izzy Stars/Jazz Minded

Tiny Diamond met a little Techno Troll girl named Izzy Stars who was feeling shy around the new Trolls around and Tiny wanted to make her feel comfortable

When Chaz came back to TrollsTopia, he’s been using his jazz music to make Synth give him information and ideas on what to do to take over TrollsTopia once again

3: Love Doctors/Fountain of Youth

Minuet and Dante both started a little talk show and start to give out love advice to other Trolls

When Poppy, Val, Holly, Branch and Synth found a water fountain in the forest, it turned them into little kids and had to wait until midnight for the effects to wear off. But on that night is the same night that Poppy’s hosting a meteor shower party

4: Dear Diary/Birthday Rave

When Val accidentally left out her diary, Poppy tried her very best not to read it and sees what her thoughts are

It’s Synth’s birthday, and Poppy wanted it to be very special for his special day. So she asked Branch to spy on Synth to what he wants for his birthday party

5: Sibling Rivalry/Chili Cookout

R&B were thinking on what else can they build. But when creative differences came between them, it causes them to hate each other

When Gust Tumbleweed entered a chili cookout competition, he and his friends must make sure he gets the secret ingredient to make his chili perfect

6: Campfire Tales/Burgens Bash

Poppy and the Tribal Council all gathered themselves in the forest and tell each other’s scary stories

When Val asked who are the Burgens, Poppy invited Gristle and Bridget to come to TrollsTopia to introduce themselves to the new Trolls

7: Lava Spew Cake/All Hail The King

Poppy got interested in baking the Hard Rock way, so she wanted to know some tricks and rules on how to bake a Hard Rock Tribe’s favorite dessert, a Lava Spew Cake

When King Trollex of the Techno Trolls suddenly came to TrollsTopia, Synth, Branch, Poppy and Laguna wanted his visit to be amazing and epic

8: Water, Earth, Fire, Air/One Tiny Problem

When a new came is made, four teams from each Tribe had to make an art or a sculpture from that element

Tiny Diamond felt weird when he’s a very tiny Troll. So R&B thought of a solution to make him a little bigger, but accidentally made all of TrollsTopia small

9: Butterfly Tummy/Overflown

Dante had a big concert for him to prepare, he was worried that it’ll end badly, causing him to have something called Butterfly Tummy

Cloud Guy wanted to have another prank thrown at Laguna, but that suddenly caused Techno Lagoon to rise up and flood TrollsTopia. So they had to think of a plan to stop the flood

Yall i got super carried away

I wanted to draw some ideas I had of Trollex and Synth's parents and ended up with a sorta au and a little techno troll worldbuilding.

"Egg? I think you mean ball"

I like to think that Trollex was one of those kids that absolutely hated the idea of a sibling. One of those kids that gives the parents the meanest/most concerned side eye when he's first introduced to his sibling.

I think part of it is also cause Trollex had a very poor understanding of what a sibling was. Like his mom told him something like

"its like having a best friend for the rest of your life!"

"the rest of my life???" and he then thought Synth was going to stay small and crying for the rest of his life.

Idk I thought it was kinda funny.

But as they grow up they get more used to each-other and they argue(as siblings do) but they do end up becoming each other's best friend.

Anyway I imagine Synthia traveled a lot before meeting unamed other mom. Like her genre of music is still techno, just like techno adjacent?

Like I really like the idea of there being other smaller groups of techno trolls, like deep water techno trolls would be like maybe 2bit game-type music. Fresh water might be like idk techno pop, since they're closer to the other troll kingdoms. Oh wait no they're vocaloid.

Other mom is currently unnamed, I thought about calling her Beat-atrice like a play on Beatrice? She'd go by Queen Beat or Bea(Synthia would call her Bea) But idk, l'm still unsure. Anyway she's the Queen and I wanted her/her side to look more like Synth than Trollex cause i think it'd be fun to explore the feeling of a young King Trollex still trying to figure out how to rule without his parents' guidance and the fact that he looks so unlike his mom/past rulers would kind of be like the cherry on top yknow?

As much as he knows its foolish to think part of him wonders if Synth would be a better King than him, Synth is like the spitting image of their Mom/their Grandad.

When his mom was alive, she was always busy with Queenly duties and he never spent much time with her, (I have lore stuff for her too, I went a lil overboard) but one thing he does remember is that his Mom admired his grandad for being a good strong ruler. Thats why he's named after him. So he can't help but wonder if he's doing things right, if he's a good king, if his parents would be proud, if he's doing his grandfathers name justice and ruling the techno trolls in the right direction.

Uhh what else, I feel like Trollex would see his mom a lot in Synth. Mostly cause the 2 look so similar, but since Trollex never got to know his mom he doesnt realize that personality-wise he and his mom are super similar.

They probably would've gotten closer and formed a really tight bond as he grew up and was learning how to rule from her. Too bad that didn't happen.

Also Synth doesn't remember his parents. At all, he's seen their pictures so he knows what they look like but thats all he remembers them as, as pictures. It kinda killed Trollex when Synth told him that. Everyone else remembers them as rulers, but he remembers them as his moms, and even his memory of them as his moms have faded and warped overtime.

I have more tumbling around in my brain, most of it revolves around unnamed mom and her grandad/her family but I've got some ideas about Synthia's character and her life/family too.

Idk of I'll make more art or about it tho, might just write a bunch of words and post it lol.

Okay, random question here, how incredibly Fucked would Velvet and Veneer be if they captured each Branch’s adopted sibling/best friend? (Bio fam and Adopted fam also help too)

Each being rated from most violence demise to least for your scenarios.

Techno: Either Trollex or Synth gets caught and Velvet and Veneer are dead. They're so dead

Rock: Whether it's Barb or one of the Diner Gang... They're very screwed.

Country: Middling because Country Branch isn't very vindictive but he's still semi violent.

Funk: He has the technology to make you regret it, but he's a pretty levelheaded guy... mostly

Classical: Sadly his pianos don't have much effect on Velvet and Veneer

In My Troll Academia the age gaps might be changed to have more exciting dynamics, such as Trollex being much older than Synth so that Trollex could be Synth's mentor.

Maybe Barb as well, so she could be an established Pro-Hero when she meets Branch. So like a 10-15 year age gap.

Branch is probably famous in school for being Barb's younger brother, so I think it'd be funny if Branch was secretly famous as well but hides his identity better.

You know those AUs where Midoriya gets saved by Hawks and the end up having a sibling like dynamic? That's Barb and Branch in MTA.

Branch's quirk is Powerchord. He's able to create powerful blasts using guitars. I briefly considered just giving him a fire quirk for the water/fire dynamic with Synth, so there may be a version of Branch who has the quirk 'Inferno'.

Barb's quirk is Entourage. The more people cheering for her there are, the stronger and more powerful she gets. Treats her fights like concerts and is able to use a move that sort of resembles Powerchord, which is meant to mimic how in Rock Sibblings Branch passes for a Rock Troll. In this AU, they pass as genetic siblings.

Synth's quirk is called Tidal Wave. He has extremely strong water powers, capable of causing storms and tsunamis. When his quirk first manifested as a kid, he caused a natural disaster at the beach and LOTS of property damage. He also has physical mutations that give him earfins, gills and make him purple. May or may not have no nose, just the lil snoot that Techno Trolls have.

Trollex's quirk is called Poseidon. He's able to use water to generate a larger body (that appears as an upper half of the body, with below the waist being a waterspout). He can also turn water into a trident.

Beat Drop Button is either a quirked plankton/fish or part of Trollex's quirk, I haven't decided yet.

Does Branch have a secret room in the other Au's? Or is it just his room in the au's where he doesn't have a sibling?

If so, what are some differences in them?

Country Branch is allowed use of one of the safety bunkers and he makes a lot of improvements to them. Mostly used in cases of tornados and the like, Branch elevates them to a more long term option.

Funk Branch is given a room at first, but as he's older he comes to trust pocket dimensions and the like more so those become more viable options.

Classical Branch has a very large home so Trollzart allowed him use of any that he saw fit. He ends up still building a small bunker though.

Techno Branch gets shown an underwater grotto with an air bubble by Trollex that becomes his secret room. Synth found it when following Branch one day and Branch made him swear to secrecy. Synth takes this VERY seriously.

Of all Branches, who do you think is the most professional yapper?

My money is on yodeler, he and Dickory could probably bicker and playfully fight for hours on end (and Hickory with Branch give me younger siblings that gossip about everything together energy, like staying up at 1 am taking shit about Hickory's ex or sharing life traumas for funssies). He looks like he barely talks with people who arent his adopted brothers, but he is a very open book with them (Branch is sooooo anxious teenager girl core love him my pookie)

Depends on the kind of yapping. In ability to just go on and on I think it's actually Classical, given the nature of how they talk.

About interests I could see Funk Branch (in regards to science) being up there. Rock is a mix of enjoying the silence and talking Barb's/Diner Gang's ears off about anything.

Techno Branch is mostly a listener but he and Laguna can go back and forth and Trollex and Synth will listen to him talk out his thoughts.
