Sad Past (Part 1) - Tauxolouve

“Anonymous said: And for tau, he notice that mc doesn't talk and would only draw in her book. Feeling curious he peek in her book while she asleep and saw sad pictures. Before he could look more, mc had an nightmare. After waking up he confront her she was hesitant but told him that she and her parents were poor yet happy family. One day when her parents found a job, they didn't realize that the job they got was shady until it was too late. They were killed in front of her. He and mc got close and end up fallen in love.”

Tauxolouve found Y/N very intriguing and wanted to get to know her more. She was the only one who would ignore his advances the first time he met her. He thinks that there’s a reason why but he wasn’t going to push Y/N for answers. He was going to befriend her first, take one step at a time rather than asking her right away. 

The main reason why Y/N doesn’t talk that much was because of her past. Something traumatic happened when she was young and never spoke out about it. She was afraid that if she got close to people, they would also end up like her parents. She wasn’t ready to deal with another heartbreak just like that. She wouldn’t be able to bare it, if history repeats itself. 

It still haunts her every day and she hated the system between the rich and the poor. If only her family wasn’t poor she would still have her parents right now, she would have someone see her grow up and watch her become a successful woman. 

She remembered it clearly how happy her parents were when they announced that they found a job and it paid well. They were finally getting themselves up and slowly making their way out of the poor zone. At first the tasks were very simple and easy but as months passed by, her parents started to hesitate that they took this job. 

When her parents wanted to call it quits, they were too late. There was no way out and they were in too deep into the business to walk away like that. They knew that even if they left now, there is no way that their boss is going to let them get away with everything they know about the business alive. 

Her parents knew that and they needed to act smart and would slowly pack up their things whenever they came home from work. Y/N started to notice the sudden change in her parents actions. They were started to feel paranoid. 

But as the weeks pass by Y/N notice that there were a few men that would watch her every single move. She felt a little bit uncomfortable about the extra eyes on her and told her parents about it during dinner. Upon hearing that her parents dropped their utensils and headed straight to their closet and packed more clothes. “Y/N you won’t understand it now but you need to leave. Run as fast as possible away from here and do not look for us okay? There are men after our lives for no reason but this is because of the mess that your father and I got into.” 

Y/N’s mom tried to explain to her everything and when they heard the knock on their door, they had a theory that this maybe their last night together as a family. The knocks on the door became louder and more aggressive. Y/N was able to escape from the back door and could help but cry. She knew that she shouldn’t go back but if she didn’t have her parents, then what’s the point of living now? 

She ran back knowing that she could also die, but her parents needed her at this time. She hid by the trees and saw her parents kneeling down and their hands tied behind their back. Just then a two gun fires were shot. Covering her mouth she cried, she knew she shouldn’t make a noise. There was nothing left for her. 

It was very traumatizing for Y/N to see her parents get killed in front of her. She regretted not speaking up then, she regretted that she wasn’t able to protect her parents and for what reason? Because they were poor? They didn’t have enough money or power unlike the rich and therefore her parents were eliminated just like that? 

Since then Y/N couldn’t express her words out loud anymore, she prefers to draw out her feelings. It was her way of destressing or getting it out there, all her frustration, sadness, and loneliness all sketched up in her book. 

One day Tauxolouve saw Y/N under a tree. She fell asleep, well who wouldn’t? The breeze outside was very relaxing and sitting under the shaded cool tree was very comforting. She didn’t even know that she fell asleep. 

He slowly took he sketchbook and he was mesmerized by it. All her drawings had a very dark feeling to it with a little bit of sadness. There was a picture of a house in the woods where there were two figures kneeling down, he didn’t know what but this picture spoke to him loud and clear. As if it happened in real life.

While Tauxolouve was scanning through the sketchbook, Y/N was having a nightmare. It was the same nightmare she’d get at least three times in a month. “No.” She whispered as tears rolled down her face. 

Tauxolouve didn’t know that seeing Y/N like this would hurt him. He’d rather have her ignore him than seeing her cry like this. Y/N stirred awake and saw Tauxolouve with her sketchbook and snatched it away from him. “I’m sorry for looking through your sketchbook without your permission. But may I ask why you only draw sad pictures? When it comes to art, there are meanings behind him and most people express what their feeling through drawing. I know that you may not answer me this time, but if you’re ready, I’ll be here to listen.” 

It took many tries for Tauxolouve to get Y/N open up to him and that was fine. He meant what he said when he was going to wait until she was ready to tell him. Of course he wasn’t expecting her to open up to him right away but after a half a year of just trying to get to know her more, Y/N finally told him the reason. 

In the six month time, Y/N took her own baby steps of trying to talk more. She wanted to escape from the leash that holding her back and when she was finally told Tauxolouve about her past and her trauma, she felt free. She was free from her leash and thanked Tauxolouve for his time and patience. 

Althought it was still too early to tell. Y/N knew that Tauxolouve is going to play a big part in her life and this time, instead of pushing him away, she will hold on to him. She’s going to learn from her mistake and fight this time. 

On Tauxolouve point of view, he wanted to find who did this to you and he will stop at nothing. He couldn’t forgive them for breaking a woman like you, and they will indeed pay for the trouble they’ve caused.

Pregnancy - Yukihisa Maki

It started off as a harmless meeting every Friday night. At first, it was all fun and games no feelings attached, that’s all there is to it until that one night. Y/N wasn’t quite sure what really happened, she knew that she was having one of the best nights with Yukihisa. The further they kept going the deeper her feelings fell into the well. 

She thought to herself that even if she did fall in love with him, she will not tell him. She will do everything in her power to keep that feeling to herself. She’s going to keep the promise that she will not say the “L” word. She’s not going to tell him how she really felt about the Doctor who has a weird way of showing his affections to others. 

When her monthly was late, it didn’t really bother her because she would have irregular visits from time to time. However, a few weeks have passed and she started to worry. She tried to remember that night and how amazing it was, it must’ve happened that night, where the protection broke but neither of them realized it. 

Once that was done she went and bought a pregnancy kit to test out her theory. She was nervous, she knew her status between Yukihisa and she didn’t want to ruin his life but how is she going to deal with the pregnancy by herself? What is she going to do if she is indeed carrying his child at this very moment? Her hands shook as she waited for the test to deny or confirm her theory. 

After a few minutes, she was scared to look at the results but she needed to see it herself, there’s no going back. She held the edge of the sink for extra support, she was going to be a mother soon. A lot of things ran through her head and it was too much during that time. One thing’s for sure she was going to keep the child and raised them on her own, all she has to do now is leave her dream job. It’s a huge sacrifice, but it’s a sacrifice she’s willing to make. 

The following day Y/N walked towards Shunichiro Tachibana’s office and gave him her resignation letter. “Mr. Tachibana after this project I will be resigning from the company.” Y/N stated. Shunichiro was confused, there was no problem with the production or the project itself, why is she suddenly leaving the company? “Hmm... May I ask why? This is your dream isn’t it?” He clasped his hands together and rested his chin on top. “It is my dream job that is correct but I feel like I’ve lost myself. I am resigning because I want to find myself and be happy.”

“Is this because of Yuki? Are you two not in good terms? Are you just going to run away like that?” 

Hearing his name made it hard for her to breathe but she needed to keep her composure. “No Sir, this is not because of Dr. Maki. I’ve been meaning to visit my parents as well and I’m hoping that they can somehow help me with this slump. This is my own decision and I just need a change of pace, change of scenery even and I know what you’re going to say... Why can’t I just take time off and bounce back after I’ve gotten out of my slump but I believe that this is something that’ll take time. As much as it pains me to say goodbye to my dream job, I have to do this. I apologize for the inconvenience.” 

Shunichiro knew that there was some truth behind what Y/N has just declared to him but he wasn’t quite convinced. He knew that she was hiding something but he wasn’t going to pry. “It’s really sad to see someone young and talented like you go just like that, but I’m not a demon and will decline your resignation letter. I don’t know what you’re going through right now but I hope you overcome it.” 

That same night, Y/N invited Yukihisa out. She knew that it’s not their usual Friday rendezvous but she needed to do this now. He happily agreed to meet with her that night at a bar where they could talk. “Someone couldn’t wait to see me until Friday huh?” He smirked. 

Y/N tried her best to act normal around him so that he doesn’t get suspicious. But knowing his friendship with her boss, he must’ve said something about her resignation letter to Yukihisa. “What are you going to drink this time? I suggest the -” 

“Yukihisa I’m in love with you.” Y/N looked at him to show that she was serious. 

Y/N’s sudden declaration of love took Yukihisa by surprise. He held his hand out and she knew what he wanted. “You knew from the very start that this is going to end the moment you fell for me.” He gave her an icy stare. Y/N already knew that this was going to happen, it was easier this way because then she can leave without raising his radar. “I know and I’m sorry but I can’t help it but fall for you. I love you, very much. I know what this means it’s the end but at least I was able to tell you how I feel right? And don’t worry, I’ll be back to my normal self in no time.” She smiled at him. 

This is the very first time the Yukihisa couldn’t anticipate what was running through her head right now. “I’m sorry but I need to go, I still have a project to finish.” She excused herself and left Yukihisa at the bar. 

It was her last week in the company and just like she said, she was back to normal and ready to bounce back. It was still a mystery to Shunichiro how cheerful Y/N is right now considering that she was going to be gone from the company in a couple of days. Once the project is released, she’ll be gone from the company forever. Shunichiro wanted to talk to her and persuade her to stay but that is something she can’t do. There was no one who could change her mind. 

The two tried to avoid each other in the company but Shunichiro would find ways for them to cross paths. This irritated Y/N but she needed to calm herself. She didn’t want Yukihisa to detect any change in her behaviour due to her pregnancy. It seems like Shunichiro didn’t bother telling Yukihisa about Y/N’s resignation, he didn’t feel like he needed to know what was going on with her life since they already ended things with each other. 

The advertisement was a huge success. Everyone loved it and gave a positive vibe to those who saw it, even the actors really got moved. But since it’s the day of the release, it also meant that it’s Y/N last day. Only a few coworkers know that she was leaving but no one really knew the reason why. Natsume wasn’t buying her reason but he knew there must be something else. 

Y/N knew that she needed to at least attend the party tonight. Since she’s pregnant she needed to stay away from liquor or anything that’ll harm her child. Yukihisa watched her from a distance, he wanted to make sure that she was okay. He knew that she pushed herself to make this production a success and it paid off. He also noticed how one of her coworkers was very close to her the entire night, he didn’t like the feeling of jealousy but he knew he had no right to be feeling this way. He was the one who didn’t want any relationship blooming from his little game and he basically turned her confession down.  

Natsume didn’t leave Y/N side the entire night, he didn’t know why Y/N was acting strange and why she needed to quit the job at Addison & Rhodes. “I don’t know what the hell is going on Y/N but please tell me why you’re leaving.” 

“Natsume please not now. Let’s just enjoy the part and I swear I’ll tell you in a bit on the way home okay?” 

Natsume didn’t like the suspense he all he had to do was to be patient. He just wanted to be by her side at this time he was afraid that she might do something stupid. After making their rounds and greeting everyone, Y/N suddenly felt fatigued. Natsume noticed right away and held her by the waist to keep her balance. The two excused themselves from everyone and decided to go home, Yukihisa’s eyes, on the other hand, followed as the two of them exited the party. 

Natsume waited for Y/N to explain what was going on, Y/N said it was a long story and asked him if he wanted to stay at her place for a bit and then she can tell him the story. She hoped that her childhood friend wouldn’t judge her for what has happened during the past weeks. She knew that he’ll probably lecture her about everything that has happened and she was prepared for that. Y/N started her story from day one and Natsume was listening, but as he was listening his hands formed into a fist. “Natsume... I’m pregnant and he’s the father. I’m not going to tell him, because this is not what he needs in his life right now.” 

“Are you insane?!?! How are you going to take care of the child by yourself?!? Aren’t you being unfair to Dr. Maki and your child? He’s not going to know that he has a kid and your child won’t know who his father is.” 

Y/N knew the consequences, she knew what she was going to say to her kid if they look for their Father. She was going to tell them that their father is no longer with them and it was just the two of them. “You know how stupid and crazy that sounds Y/N? I wish you could’ve told me about it earlier.” 

It was suddenly quiet but Natsume’s words shocked Y/N. There’s no way she’ll let him do that even if he volunteered. She just couldn’t, this isn’t what she wanted for her childhood friend. People would be suspicious and she didn’t want to ruin his life just how she didn’t want to ruin Yukihisa’s life. “I’ll be the father of the child.”

Becoming Mute - Kai Fujisawa

At first, Kai didn’t understand how Y/N was able to land a job in the company when she was mute. He believed that there was no use of her in the company but the CEO still hired her. No one knew why but everyone was sure he had a reason. Although Y/N was mute, she did her job. She always gets things done quickly, she listens to her peers and would smile every now and then. Others would think she’s weird because she doesn’t talk.

Once the CEO passed away, it was revealed that Y/N is the granddaughter of the CEO and he had a few men in mind suited to be the next CEO. Seiichirou explained to them about your situation. Everything, of course, came to a shock and Y/N felt like she was being swallowed. Then a sudden memory from her childhood reminded her about the things she had to go through as the Sanno Corporations granddaughter. No one knew about your relation to the CEO but others had a suspicion.

Y/N was aware that there were people outside her school and there would be times where someone would follow her home. She wanted to scream for help but what’s that going to do at her age, people will think that she’s just being a kid and screaming away from her friends. She didn’t bother telling her parents about her constant encounter with the strange men, although they never laid their hand on her it still freaked her out. Her parents noticed on how quiet their daughter’s been lately and started to worry about her condition, whenever they tried to talk to her she would just nod her head or shake her head.

Then the day she lost her parents was one of the most traumatic experiences for her. Her grandfather’s enemies tried to eliminate his daughter and her family but failed when Y/N survived.

Y/N didn’t have a choice but to choose her husband, she knew that she needed to help her grandfathers’ company somehow even though she’s never met him. She didn’t even know that she was so close to a family member and then they were just going to leave her like that. Y/N didn’t care who she chose at this point because she knew that they wanted the CEO spot, they wouldn’t care about her feelings, they’re not going to try and get to know her.

Kai at first was surprised when she picked him but he agreed with it. For him, this was just another step closer to being the CEO he kept telling himself that he wasn’t going to involve and pry with Y/N’s business. That went on for a week or two but Kai noticed that Y/N hummed a lovely tune whenever she watered the plants. He wanted to hear her voice and he will do everything to hear it.

Kai tried everything for Y/N to open up to him and as time passed by, he knew that she was slowly breaking down her walls. He would try and talk to her and she always had a note pad with her to show her responses to him. Kai somewhat saw a glimpse of how Y/N used to be but it made him curious, what led to her being mute?

“Allow me to explain.” Stated Seiichirou. “I believe the late CEO is partly to blame. After he disowned his daughter his enemies went after them. They were able to hide for a long time but when Miss Y/N was in the second grade, they got tracked down. People started waiting outside her school or would follow her home. I knew about this because I was there too, I had to keep her safe due to CEO’s orders. However one night I had an important business trip and wasn’t there for a day, and that’s when they attacked her and her parents.” Y/N clenched her hands into a fist. She remembers that day clearly and it hurt her to know the reason why people followed her home and why her parents were killed, this was just unfair. “When I got there, I was too late. The late CEO had a bad feeling about that night and made me go back and said he’ll handle the deal alone, and there I witness Miss Y/N on there crying but there no sound. It’s as if she lost her voice. The late CEO and I were glad that Miss Y/N survived and promised that I’ll do everything to protect her from our rival companies.” Kai couldn’t believe what he was hearing. “And I believe that that’s the reason why she’s mute now. It was a very traumatic experience.”

Kai couldn’t help it but embrace Y/N, “You’ve been through a lot and I promise, I’ll protect you. I promise I’ll help you get through this, I’ll do everything in my power to not hurt you.”

Y/N couldn’t help but smile. “Th-thank you.” She whispered. This shocked Kai and Seiichirou, this is the first time she’s ever spoken ever since the incident. Kai made a promise to Seiichirou that he will help Y/N get her voice back again and he will not give up. “Don’t worry Y/N, I won’t give up on you. I’ll help you get through this, we’ll face this head-on.”

Seiichirou thought that the two would’ve been hopeless but he knew that they needed each other. This wasn’t going to be a loveless marriage, and he knew that Kai would be a great CEO for Sanno Corporations.

Poisoned - Soryu Oh (Point Of View)

“Anonymous said: Soryu and mc goes on a date and decided to have a meal together. They were busy chatting especially soryu, venting his frustration with his work. When he's about to take his first bite, mc shoves away all the plated food off the table. The food had been poisoned and she violently coughed up blood. How would soryu reacts to this? Can you make this from his pov. I'll leave it to you for the ending.”

Today, Y/N and I are going to have a date at her favourite restaurant. It’s not something fancy or anything but it feels like home, at least that’s how I see it. I’m excited to be able to have a meal with her, our schedule didn’t really match for two weeks and it sucked seeing her only in the morning or when she’s at work.

The Ice Dragons teased me about my work and how I tried to finish them as quickly as possible but I brushed them off. Nonetheless, that didn’t mean that work wasn’t stressful. There are a few ups and downs but we were able to surpass them due to the help of the Ice Dragons. 

I picked her up after her shift and she had a big smile on her face. I can tell that she’s also looking forward to today’s date. I gave her a quick peck on the lips and let her to the car. The drive to the restaurant wasn’t long. It was only five minutes and we could’ve walked if we wanted to but I know that she’s tired from standing and walking around. 

“I haven’t been here in a long time. Thank you Soryu for making time for me.” She smiled. 

“Of course, anything for you my love.” 

Once we got seated and looked over the menu, it didn’t take a while for her to choose what she wanted to eat. I even asked her what she could recommend for me. 

She talked about what went on in the past week, I’ll never get tired of hearing her voice. I listened to her while we waited for her food. “Okay, your turn.” She managed to put a smile on her face after. 

“Well that was a meeting we had with one of our suppliers and they almost messed up where the cargo is supposed to go.” I blabbed on and on about it. I couldn’t believe that they were able to mess up something as simple as that. It was a good thing that the other group and the Ice Dragons were able to solve it right away. I don’t know what I’ll do if the shipment was ruined because of their mistake.

While I was talking to Y/N the food arrived she looked at the food as if she was suspicious about it. I couldn’t help but chuckle at her actions, I was about to put the food in my mouth when she slapped my hand away. She also shoved the plates off the table. “Y/N? What’s wrong?” I questioned her. 

“Soryu the food’s poisoned. I know because the sauce from our plates are different and the aroma is different. I know it seems weird and you might think that they changed the recipe but this is different Soryu. I -” She didn’t finish her sentence. She started to cough really bad until there was blood coming out. 

I couldn’t believe that my enemies would try and ruin this day for both of us. Y/N was rushed to the hospital and I asked the Doctor to save Y/N. I already sent a text to Samejima to find out who did this to us. I was lucky that I was saved from the poison. I just hope that Y/N will survive this too. If she doesn’t I will look for the person responsible for it and make sure they don’t see the light of day. 

Three hours have passed and Y/N was still in the operation room. All I did was pace myself back and forth hoping the Doctor would come out with the result. The Doctor came out of the emergency room along with two nurses. “Are you a family member of the patient?” All I did was nod at the Doctor. “The patient is stable right now. We managed to get the poison out of her system but it may take a few days for her to recover. I don’t know how long but that depends on her immune system as well.” 

At that point, I knew that Y/N is going to be okay. She’s a fighter after all. Now that I knew that she was going to be okay, it was now time to hunt down the person who ruined our night. As much as I want to go there myself, I’m sure Samejima and the rest of the dragons are able to handle them. Right now, I need to be here for her when she wakes up. 

Every day I stayed by her side hoping she’ll wake up soon. The Ice Dragons are worried about Y/N but I told them not to worry. I made a promise to them that once Y/N is fully recovered, we can go to the beach and have barbecue and they all agreed happily. 

Y/N woke up a week later although it took a while, At least she’s awake and that’s all it matters. “I missed you so much Y/N. You scared the living hell of me.” I gave her a long passionate kiss to show how much I missed her. “I missed you too Soryu.” She smiled. I could never get tired of seeing her smile. 

“By the way, once you’re discharged we’re going to the beach. You need to get some Vitamin D for being stuck here in the hospital for a week. Also, cause the Ice Dragons were worried about you.” Upon hearing this she grinned at my statement. I know she’s excited to see the ice Dragons and I know for sure that she’s going to apologize for worrying them. With that in mind that’s one of the reasons why I fell for her, and she was able to tame the Ice Dragon herself.

Sad Past (Part 1) - Partheno

From the very first moment that she laid her eyes on Partheno, she knew that he was different. How? She knew that he was not a God, but in fact a demon. This, of course, surprised Partheno because No one would ever guess that about his true identity, it shocked him because a mere human sensed it right away. This intrigued Partheno, he wanted to know more about Y/N. 

Even though she knew that he was a demon, she didn’t show any signs that she was afraid of him. She treated him like how she would treat everyone she’d meet. Never once did she think that Partheno could hurt her, she’s been through a lot and at this point, nothing phases her. 

Due to Partheno’s curiousity, he really wanted to know Y/N’s past he tried his hardest to get Y/N to trust him and open up to him. “There’s nothing interesting about my past, why are you curious about something that should be forgotten forever?” Y/N stated cooly. This really convinced Partheno that the reason why Y/N is like this now is due to her past. 

Every week he would bother Y/N and she would always brush him off until one day, she finally gave in. “My family was poor, we were struggling. One day my dad came home drunk and my parents had a fight, it woke me up and tried to stop them from fighting.” She remembered that day clearly, she remembered how they were going in debt and they didn’t have enough money to support themselves. Therefore that night her parents tried to take her life away, “If only you weren’t born we wouldn’t be suffering this bad!” Her father yelled. He broke the glass and pointed at her, she tried to run away but her mother had a firm grip on her. She couldn’t believe that her own parents would be the reason why she’d die, she bit her Mother’s arm and ran away. “I didn’t want to be in that house, who knew what they’d do to me next. Kill me in my sleep? Before they could do that I packed some of my things and left my parents house. I knew that their next step was to kick me out of the house but I ended up just running away instead. You see I never really felt like someone needed me or loved me. I didn’t experience it with my parents and I know no one will ever love someone like me.” 

Partheno was mad at her parents for doing something like that to Y/N, she didn’t deserve to be treated like that. All he knows is that he wants her to feel loved, and needed the two things that she lacked during her times with her parents. “I will do everything to make you happy Y/N. I swear you will never feel like you’re not needed or loved anymore. I will show you how to love and how important you are to my life.”

He pulled her into an embrace. He can’t change her past, but he can change her future.

“Eisuke, how many times do I have to tell you that you need to take care of yourself? Take a break sometimes will you?” Y/N was full of worries. She just wanted Eisuke to take a break from his work from time to time or else it’ll affect his health. Y/N hated it when Eisuke would refuse to take a break and he hated how she’d nag him about it. 

“Are we seriously going to argue about this again Y/N? For the last time just leave me alone, I can take care of myself. Now stop nagging me, will you? You’re giving me a headache.” He rubbed his temples and walked towards his office leaving Y/N in the lounge. 

Y/N was annoyed that Eisuke would say hurtful words like that, is it that bad to care and worry about the one you love? Y/N was angry at him and stomped away from the lounge to go back to work. 

Eisuke, on the other hand, was also annoyed that his significant other cared too much. He’s been doing this for a long time even when you two weren’t together, so what’s the difference? He’ll be fine. 

A few hours have passed and the two of them continued to focus on their work. Eisuke had a guest coming in to make a business deal with him. He paged Y/N up to attend to him and his guest. Although Y/N didn’t want to do it due to their fight, she needed to do this for her work, no personal feelings. 

Y/N made coffee for Eisuke and his guest. She stood near Eisuke as if she was his secretary. She had no choice but listen to the deal happening between two businessmen. Y/N could tell that the man didn’t like Eisuke’s condition. “Mister Ichinomiya don’t you think that’s a bit unfair?”

“With all your respect, you’re the one who came to me for this business deal and I’m not happy with it. I managed to think about how your company will be beneficial for mine and you’re telling me that it’s unfair?” Eisuke smirked. “Look, if you don't want the deal then that’s fine, I have other offers from different companies that would love to collaborate with mine.” Eisuke stood up from his seat and walked away from the businessman. 

“Typical Eisuke Ichinomiya. If that’s what you think then I might as well kill you now!” The man pulled a gun out from his pocket and pointed at Eisuke. Just before the man pulled the trigger Y/N went in front of Eisuke and became his shield. 

The gunshot was deafening in the penthouse. Eisuke turned around to see his significant other on the ground bleeding. “Y/N!” He turned towards the man. “You have no idea what you’ve done. If something happens to her, you’re going to pay it with your own life.” 

The man shivered in fear and couldn’t move from his spot. Luckily Mamoru was scheduled to meet with Eisuke today and was able to arrest the man who shot Y/N. 

Eisuke rushed Y/N to the hospital and he wasn’t sure what to do. He didn’t understand why Y/N protected him like that even after arguing with him in the morning. He ruffled his hair with frustration, how could he let something like this happen to you? He should be the one protecting you and not the other way around. 

The operation went well. They were able to take the bullet out and the Doctor mentioned that Y/N will be fine. Eisuke let out a relieved sigh upon hearing the good news. He knew then that he needed to apologize to Y/N the moment she woke up. He stayed with her until she opened her eyes. 

Y/N groggily opened her eyes and saw Eisuke sleeping. “So now you’ve decided to take a rest huh.” She whispered. She was about to stroke his head when Eisuke woke up. “Sorry did I wake you up? I’m sorry about this morning.” She apologized. Before she could even continue to apologize about what happened in the morning, there was a rush of adrenaline that circulated through Eisuke.

“Y/N!” He stood up and crashed his lips on hers. “Thank goodness you’re awake. The Doctors said you’ll be fine if you rest and I just want to apologize for this morning. I know how worried you must feel about me not getting enough rest and I promise you, next time I’ll listen. I don’t want to fight with you ever again, will you forgive me?” 

“Hmmm... I’ll think about it.” She smiled. “I’ll only forgive you if you get plenty of rest now.” She teased. 

Within moments Eisuke climbed into the bed with Y/N, “Eisuke what are you doing?” 

“What? You told me to get some rest and that’s what I’m doing. Do you really think I’ll be able to sleep without you by my side?” 

“Smooth one Eisuke. Whatever do what you want but if the Doctor or Nurses kicks you out, you’ll have to go home.” 

“Tsk. I’d like to see them try and kick me out.” Eisuke mumbled causing Y/N to laugh.

Luke Foster the genius Doctor that has quirky behaviour, sweet, hot and yet forgetful has another trait that he hides quite well and that his jealousy. He might not seem like the type of person to get jealous because he trusts his partner Y/N very much. He won’t show his jealous side to anyone but Y/N. 

One day Y/N and Luke were out buying groceries. It was rare for Luke to come but since it wasn’t that busy in the clinic, he decided to tag along. “Any special request for tonight’s meal Luke?” 

“Anything is good with me. I enjoy the food that you make.” He smiled fondly at his lovely girlfriend. 

Luke didn’t mind what ingredients Y/N bought, he loved her cooking and was glad that he was with her at this moment. Although there were times where she had to think about which ingredients to buy and would ask for Lukes opinion, he tried his best to help her. 

Later Y/N gave Luke a simple task to grab from different aisles to make their trip faster rather than her doing all the work. She gave him a very detailed direction on where to get the remaining things that Y/N needed to stock the fridge. “Damnit, why does the spice I need have to be on the top shelf?!?” She whispered to herself. She was struggling to reach the top when someone else grabbed it for her. “Here, it’s what you need right? Shorty.” The man laughed. 

Y/N whipped around and widened her eyes at the man who called her short. “Well excuse my height, stupid lampost.” She glared at him for a few seconds until the two exploded in laughter. 

The man that helped Y/N was a good friend of hers back in high school. The two didn’t expect to see each other after graduation and yet here they are. “It’s been long since the last time I heard that name!” Kaito beamed. 

The two were having a lovely chat catching up to each other. They would often share a laugh every now and then. “You look great by the way!” 

“I could say the same thing to you Kaito! It’s because of a special someone isn’t it.” Y/N teased her friend. 

Luke, on the other hand, did his best not to forget anything that Y/N mentioned for him to get. Once he got everything he was very proud of himself and couldn’t wait to reunite with Y/N. He went to the meat section but she wasn’t there, she wasn’t in the dairy section either. He checked every aisle to see if she was there and he ended up spotting her in the spices section. What he didn’t like was that she was getting friendly with another man. 

Luke kept a calm face and approached the two. “Hey Sexy Bones I got the things you wanted me to get.” He gave her a quick peck on the lips, making her embarrassed not only from Luke calling her “Sexy Bones” but also because he kissed her in front of a friend. Luke earned a light slap on his arm. 

“Luke this is Kaito, Kaito this is my boyfriend Luke.” The two men shook hands. “Kaito and I went to the same highschool.” 

Y/N and Kaito filled Luke in from their highschool days. He might look calm on the outside but on the inside, he’s losing it. He kept a smile on his face and would comment every now and then but he needed to stop pretending. “I’m sorry to break your reunion but I’m hungry. We need to get going, it was a pleasure meeting you Kaito.” He smiled.

Kaito fell for the fake smile Luke put up, but he didn’t fool Y/N. Once they were out of sight Y/N stopped from her tracks and looked at Luke. “Okay spill. What the hell was that about?” 

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Luke avoided his gaze. 

Y/N couldn’t help but roll her eyes at Luke. “You were jealous weren’t you?” There was a smirk visible on her face. 

“Call it whatever you want, but right now I’m hungry.” Luke continued to push the cart. 

She held Luke’s face on the palm of her hands, “Luke you know that I love you right? There’s no need for you to be jealous of an old friend.”

Luke sighed. “I know, I’m very aware of that but it sucks that he knew you back then and had good memories together. What if he ends up chasing after you and then you’ll leave me for him?” 

Y/N grinned at her boyfriend. This was something new to her because Luke never showed his jealous side. “Even if he did confess to me, he’s too late. I have you now, unless of course, you break my heart. Now that’s a different story.” 

“I’d never do that to you.” He rested his forehead on hers. 

“Okay enough of this, we need to go and pay for everything we bought so I can cook for us.” 

“I like that plan cause I’m starving.” 

In the end, only Y/N was able to see Luke’s jealous side. She was just surprised how calm he was but she knew that there was something else going on with his emotion at the same time.

He Compares You To His Ex - Ayato Hidaka

Y/N always came home late for work and her schedule doesn’t really match with Ayato however she always found time to send him texts such as, “Don’t forget to eat!”, “Remember to stay hydrated!”, “Don’t overwork yourself.”, and many more. It’s something to remind Ayato that he needs to take care of himself. 

One night Y/N came home and Ayato was sitting on the couch. As Y/N got closer, Ayato didn’t notice her come in. “I don’t know. Y/N... she’s... extremely annoying and clingy. She would always send me those messages telling me to eat, stay hydrated and to go to sleep early. She’s even worse than my Mom!” He let out a loud sigh. Y/N was hurt when she overheard his conversation over the phone. How could he say something like that about her when she was just worried about him? “It gets pretty annoying actually, at least with my ex I didn’t have to deal with something like this.” 

That was the final straw. Y/N didn’t want to stay quiet anymore, “If I’m ‘extremely annoying and clingy’ then why don’t you just go back to your ex then? Because in your point of view she’s better than me.” Y/N clenched her fist. 

“Y/N I-” 

“Get out.” She hissed. 

“Y/N, don’t be like that..” He replied calmly. 

“I said GET OUT.” She yelled. 

This was the first time Ayato ever witness Y/N mad before. She always had a compose figure that he didn’t see this coming. Ayato knows that he messed up and he wasn’t sure how he was going to fix this.

Days have passed and Y/N still ignored Ayato. The guys noticed the tensed air between the two and didn’t want to get mixed into the lover’s quarrel. Ayato missed Y/N dearly. He misses how she’d send goodnight texts whenever she goes to sleep, he misses how she’d send those texts that’ll remind him to take good care of himself. Why did he even say those things in the first place? He knew that Y/N was just looking out for him but in the end, he hurt the one he loves. 

Ayato would often skip meals because he wants to practice. His sleeping schedule is also messed up because of it. Everyone was getting worried about Ayato, even Y/N who’s been ignoring him is also worried. 

Y/N hated it when she gets compared to other and Ayato knew that and it hurt her a lot when Ayato himself compared her to his ex. 

One day during Ayato’s rehearsals he collapsed. His manager contacted Y/N the moment he was rushed to the hospital. This is one of the things she feared the most, Ayato not taking care of himself properly. 

As soon as she arrived at the hospital she went straight to his room. “How is he?” She asked his manager. “The Doctor said that he fainted due to exhaustion. He just needs plenty of rest and he’d be fine.” 

Y/N sighed at her boyfriend being careless and irresponsible. She combed through his hair and hummed quietly. She kissed his forehead. She wanted to leave before Ayato wakes up but the moment she stood up, Ayato grabbed her hand. “Please don’t go.” He pleaded. The moment Y/N heard his voice she wanted to cry. Ayato sounded so weak and fragile.

“I’m sorry for what I said back then. I didn’t mean it but I deeply regret saying those words about you. I know you were just looking out for me and being unreasonable about your kindness towards me.” Tears started to flow down his face. “I miss your goodnight texts. I miss your daily reminders. I miss your hugs, your kisses and most importantly you.” He looked up and met Y/N’s tender and loving gaze. “I’m sorry Y/N. Please forgive me.” 

“I forgive you Ayato but please take good care of yourself. I hate seeing you like this.” 

From that day on Ayato promised Y/N that he’ll take good care of himself and that he won’t ever compare her or anyone to others. Everyone is unique and different in their own way and they shouldn’t be compared.

Taking Care Of You When You’re Sick - Soryu Oh

Before Y/N could even get up and head to work, her body felt weak and limp. She recalled the past events that may have lead to this and it came to her. Last night it rained while she was getting groceries and wore thin clothes. She wasn’t able to take a shower and dry herself later due to exhaustion. “Ugh, really?” She tried to sup up but her body wouldn’t let her. 

Soryu walked in to check on Y/N. He would always give her a goodbye kiss before he heads off to work. “Y/N are you still in bed? You better start getting ready and head to work now Love.” He heard sniffles coming from Y/N and he sensed that something was wrong. He rushed to her side with worry written all over his face. “Soryu... I don’t feel so good.” Y/N replied weakly. 

The moment he touched Y/N’s forehead he started to panic. She was burning, this had happened before to him and Y/N made sure that he’d get better. He decided to cancel all his meetings today and even spoke to Eisuke that you weren’t able to come. Scenarios came to his head such as  “Is Y/N dying? No! She can’t die” “The world is too dangerous for her. She shouldn’t go out anymore if she’s going to get sick.” “Y/N too fragile, of course, she’ll get sick.”  Soryu didn’t know what to do in this situation and started to panic. He called Luke right away, he’d know what to do, he’s a Doctor after all. “LUKE!” He screamed through the phone the moment Luke picked up. 

Soryu explained to Luke what her condition is like and Luke told Soryu no to worry. Y/N caught a cold and all Soryu had to do was follow Luke’s instructions. “Soryu I’ll text you the medicine that Y/N has to take to help her fever go down. She won’t be able to eat but congee or porridge would be good for her. Goodluck Soryu.” 

Soryu told Inui to get the medicine while he cooks congee. He may not know how to cook but he wanted to do this for Y/N. “Samejima... I know I’m asking a lot but can you teach me how to cook congee for Y/N?” 

“Sir I could do it for you if you don’t mind. I’m sure the Princess would want you by her side right now.” 

“No... I want to be able to do something for her.. even if it's cooking congee.” 

Samejima felt awkward instructing his Boss how to cook congee. Soryu followed Samejima step by step, he didn’t want to mess this up. After it was done Inui came in with the medicine. Y/N’s meal was now ready. 

“Love, I know it’s hard for you to get up right now but I’ll be here to help you. I made congee for you.” He smiled. Y/N was happy that Soryu is by her side at this moment and it touched her heart that Soryu would cook something for her. 

Y/N finished the congee in no time. “Thank you Soryu. It was delicious.” She smiled at him. 

“Anything for my Love. Now take your medicine and get plenty of rest. I’ll be here in the room when you wake up.” He tucked Y/N in and kissed her forehead. “Get well soon.”

Y/N thought that Hiroki changed. She thought that she wasn’t going to be a fling to him anymore, not since he asked her to be his girlfriend. That time Y/N believed that he was finally falling for her but man was she wrong. Closing her eyes she recalled what she saw the day she caught Hiroki cheating on her.

It was a bright and wonderful day. Y/N wanted to surprise Hiroki at the airport. He was away for a business trip and the two didn’t talk much when he was gone. She started to feel lonely without Hiroki. She missed him so much.

When she spotted Hiroki at the gate, there was a woman that clung to his arm. They look pretty close and cozy with each other. Y/N didn’t know how to react, what to say or what she should do. Lucky for her she was wearing a cap and sunglasses. Hiroki and the woman walked towards Y/N’s direction and she covered her face with the cap and pretended to read the newspaper.

Everything would’ve been fine if it wasn’t for what the woman said while they passed by. “I can’t believe your girlfriend believed you were away on a business trip. I’m really happy that I was able to spend time with you.”

Y/N only heard bits and pieces of what the woman said but she had an idea. She did her own investigation and found out from the Executive Director that Hiroki went away for a family emergency, which means there was no meeting that he needed to attend. He lied to her.

She walked to her old apartment where she’s been staying while he was away. She didn’t like being alone in such a big space. The entire night Y/N cried. How could he? Was there something she did wrong for Hiroki to cheat on her?

Y/N opened her eyes and rubbed her temples. The woman she saw in the airport looked familiar. She went through Hiroki’s photo album and found the woman. She was Hiroki’s ex-girlfriend, Erena.

Y/N has had enough of Hiroki’s lies. She packed her things and waited for Hiroki to come home. She was going to end her heartache and let go of her first love. Y/N sat in the living room drinking some bourbon.

“Y/N, you’re still up?” He walked towards her and kissed her cheeks.

She smiled weakly at the man she used to chase, “How did the meeting go?”

“Boring, I wish you were there with me.”

Y/N listened to him talk as he adds more lies on top of each other. Not being to take any more, she stood up to go to the kitchen and wash her glass. Hiroki noticed how cold Y/N’s been acting towards him since the day he got back. He thought it was just because of her time of the month but it was something else.

Hiroki followed Y/N to the kitchen. Once she finished washing her glass, she put it on the dish rack. She turned around to face Hiroki. “I know about what really happened to your ‘business trip’ Hiroki.” She made air quotations on the business trip.

Hiroki’s eyes widened but quickly recovered. “What do you mean Y/N?” He asked innocently.

“You don’t have to hide from me Hiroki. I know you took those two weeks off to see with your ex-girlfriend. I came to surprise you at the airport that day and saw the two of you. You seemed happy with her.” She said smiling weakly at him.

“Y/N I’m s-“

“Sorry? Yeah, I doubt it.”

“I can ex-“

“Don’t bother. I’ve been waiting for your explanation in weeks to see if you’ll be guilty of what you’ve done and be honest with me. You blew off your chance Hiroki. If only you told me back then, maybe I would’ve forgiven you and gave us another chance. And honestly speaking Hiroki, I’m tired. I’m tired of getting hurt by you, my first love.”

Y/N walked passed him and took her luggage that was hidden in the entryway. “Y/N please don’t do this! Yell at me, cry, punch me, anything! I’m sorry I hurt you but please don’t leave.” He cried.

She tried to pull Hiroki’s arms away from her waist. “If you only knew how many tears I’ve wasted on you, I’d be able to make a new lake and call it ‘Y/N sorrowful lake’. I’m done Hiroki. I’m not going to let you manipulate me or my feelings any longer.”

Y/N left Hiroki’s apartment and slammed his door shut. It was time for her to wake up from her fantasy. Y/N needs to stop chasing a man who’ll never love her back. Y/N finally buried all her feelings towards Hiroki, he caused her too much pain and she deserves to be happy.

Y/N came home only to find Leon pacing back and forth. At a first glance, he seems like something big is troubling him. It’s really rare for Leon to be so troubled. “Leon is something wrong? Did something happen at work?” She questioned. She was really worried about Leon and wanted to help him.

“It’s just… I can’t… I… Ugh! This is stupid.” He yelled in frustration. Whatever was on his mind must be something out of his reach or beyond his power. He couldn’t even explain what was going on.

“Ichthys said something to me, he said if I was good enough for you. I’m not really fond of your lifestyle but I’m trying Y/N!” He was still pacing back and forth and grabbed his hair.

“Then that stupid fish adds on that if I don’t change my attitude towards you then you’ll find someone else. That fish also mentioned that someone will treat you better if you get sick of my rude behaviour.”

It shocked Y/N to see Leon in this state. She’s usually the one that gets insecure because she’s dating him. All of the other Goddesses fawn over Leon and yet he’s really upset that Y/N might be better off with another man. She felt her heart melt knowing that Ichthys words got to Leon.

Y/N couldn’t bear seeing Leon getting very frustrated. She motioned him to come la on her lap. To her surprise, Leon laid on her lap. She combed through his hair, “Leon, even though you can be an asshole most of the time, I would never want you to change. I fell for you for a reason, I fell for your personality, which still surprises me.” She chuckles causing Leon to click his tongue. “But with all teasing aside, I’m not going to look for another man to love. You’re the only one for me. But maybe you could tone down being an asshole?” She pleaded.

“You just said you loved all of me, don’t tell me you’re going back on your word.”

“I was just kidding!” She laughed.

With this, Leon calmed down. The way Y/N talked while coming through his hair was very soothing.

Rina has been asking Y/N about how she’s been doing. Y/N always gave a short and simply reply. She never really talk much about her work to Rina because Y/N knows she’d freak out. Even worse, Rina would get mad at Y/N for keeping her job as a secret and stop being her friend.

“Come on Y/N, you always say that whenever we talk about your work. Is your work that boring?” She pouted.

“I guess you could say that. There’s nothing interesting about it.” Y/N reassure her friend.

When the two said their goodbyes Rina didn’t want to leave it like this. She knew that Y/N is hiding something. Rina followed Y/N back to her house but she didn’t find anything out of ordinary. However, that didn’t stop Rina from her investigation.

It took a while until Rina finally got some lead about Y/N’s job. Rina knew that Y/N is a screenwriter but there was another job that Y/N does but hasn’t mentioned to Rina.

Y/N almost slipped out Revance’s new single that's being filmed and produced right at this moment. She was humming the tune and Rina found it every catchy. “What song were you humming Y/N?”

“Oh, that?… I’m actually not sure. I might’ve just combined the tunes I hear on the radio and hummed them out of the blue.” Y/N managed to give a valid excuse but Rina didn’t buy it. There was no way Y/N was just combining songs on the radio since the song she was humming was all synced together in a perfect harmony.

This was really suspicious to Rina and put out a clue that Y/N has another job. And it has something to do with music. Rina rejoiced for finding a new clue. She’s only a few steps closeted to finding out her friends secret.

A few weeks have passed since the small slip up that Y/N made. Revance released their new single and Rina knew that the tune sounded familiar to her. She couldn’t pinpoint where she heard it but suddenly her friend came up to her mind. If her hunch is correct then Y/N’s job has to do with Revance.

Rina knew it was going to be hard inviting Y/N out. Whenever they hang out, its usually Y/N who invites Rina out because she’s busy with work and Rina’s work schedule is very flexible. Just to Rina’s luck, Y/N’s had some time today and agreed to meet up with Rina. This time, Rina’s going to find out the truth once and for all.

“Y/N are you hiding something from me?” She got straight to the point. She looked her friend with a serious face.

“What? No! Of course not!”

“Y/N there's no use, I know that you have a secret and you don’t want to tell me. If you think that I wasn't able to keep it a  secret then maybe we shouldn’t be friends anymore.”

Y/N was shocked, Is the secret that important? Is it worth keeping when she’s about to lose her best friend? Y/N sighed in defeat, there was no use of hiding things from Rina. “I’m going to get in so much trouble for this but promise me you won’t scream or freak out?” Rina nodded in response.

“The day we went to the Revance concert, it wasn’t by chance, they wanted to meet me. They wanted me to fill in a certain job. The job was to be the ghostwriter of Revance and I had to become their assistant manager for cover.”

Y/N spilled everything from the day she got the tickets to the present day. She told about her relationship with Nagito. On the outside, Rina was calm and listened to Y/N’s sorry. But deep inside she’s squealing. She’s really happy that Y/N shared this with her, and promise not to tell anyone. “Well aren’t you a lucky woman. You got dragged into something you didn’t want to do and in exchange, you got a really hot boyfriend.” Rina teased.

It wasn’t hard for Y/N to fall for Kyo. Even though he’s really quiet and would take his job seriously. Y/N admired that about him.

The first week of him being her butler was difficult. There’d be no topic to talk about and that would be the end of their conversation. It was a bit hard for Y/N to socialize with Kyo and try to get to know him better.

As time passed by the two were no longer stranger nor had the mistress and butler relationship, they were finally friends. Y/N was delighted when Kyo started to talk to her more. She didn’t have to be the one starting the conversation. She’s starting to think that Kyo is getting more comfortable with her as her friend.

Being friends with Kyo was hard for Y/N when she had feelings for him. He made her laugh, he always cheered up and he was there for her. How is it even possible not to fall for him?

Everyone would definitely fall for someone like Kyo. Y/N knew that she was developing some feelings for her butler but doesn’t know how to tell him. She was scared of the outcome. Will he stop being her butler? Will it be awkward for the two of them afterward? Does he like you as well? Questions wandered her thoughts.

When she found the courage to express her feelings she felt nervous. “Kyo? Can we talk?”

Kyo had a small idea of what she might say to him and he’s not ready to hear it. But since it looks important to Y/N to get this out of her chest. “I like you Kyo. I know you might not feel the same but I just wanted you to know that.”

Kyo looked at his Mistress with a smile. “Miss Y/N I’m flattered. But I’m already taken. I’m sorry for not telling you earlier but I’m already in a relationship. You’re a beautiful woman but, I’m interested in someone that has the same sex as me. I’m truly sorry for not being able to return your feelings.” He bowed in front of her.

It took her by surprise but she accepted it. Kyo was also the quiet type and he doesn’t look like he was the type to talk about his personal or love life to others. “I understand Kyo, I just wanted to get that out. We can still be friends right?” She smiled.

“Of course Miss Y/N.” He smiled back.

It didn’t end the way Y/N wanted to but she was happy. She was relieved that she got that out of her chest and she was happy that Kyo has someone he loves. At least even if her confession got rejected, they were still good friends.

Car Accident - Eisuke Ichinomiya

Today was a very rare day that Eisuke asked Y/N to cook his favourite meal. Usually, Eisuke didn’t mind having chefs cook for him or going out to eat because he had the money for it but, he wanted her cooking. He doesn’t know why but the way she cooks his favourite meal, is tastier than the restaurants. There was a time where Y/N cooked his favourite meal for his birthday and when they celebrated out and ordered his food, he questioned the waiter if the chef changed the recipe. He’s been going to that restaurant for a long time but his favourite food disappointed him that day. Since then, he never asked anyone but Y/N to cook his favourite meal. Maybe he was just being biased but it’s the truth.

Upon hearing Eisuke’s request, Y/N happily accepted it. After her work, she went to the grocery store to buy ingredients. Y/N already checked the fridge this morning and there was a lot that she needed to buy. It wasn’t that hard for her to memorize what she needed to buy because as she thought about cooking for Eisuke she had lots of different ways of cooking his favourite meal.

On her way back Eisuke called her. “Hey, where are you right now?” He asked. “I just finished shopping! I’m on my way back.”

“I can’t wait tonight Y/N. I’ll just be finishing a couple of more paperwork then I’ll be done for the night.”

“Sounds like a plan. Don’t overwork yourself Eisuke.”

The two of them stayed on the phone. As Y/N was waiting for the light to change, people started to shove each other and it caused her to lose her balance. She was pushed towards the intersection when a car came speeding by. The car honked at Y/N but she couldn’t balance herself on time to avoid the car.

“Y/N?!?!? WHAT HAPPENED? HELLO?” Eisuke yelled. He started to panic, he had a bad feeling about this.

He kept screaming for her name but there was no answer. He could only listen to the commotion that just happened, he even heard them say to call the ambulance. One lady mentioned how heartbreaking it is to see a young woman covered in blood.

Eisuke couldn’t handle listening to those comments anymore and rushed to the scene. He dropped everything, he knew that he needed to be there for Y/N. He didn’t know where to start looking but he’ll find another way. But before he could even think where to start there was a phone call coming from Y/N. He picked up right away hoping that she was okay, but to his dismay, she was not.

Eisuke was able to find out which hospital she was in. He tried to calm himself down and hope that this is just a nightmare. The receptionist told Eisuke where to go and he just waited outside the emergency room.

It took hours until the Doctor came out from the emergency room. Eisuke walked up to the Doctor. “How is she?”

“Miss Y/N is stable for now, however, she suffered a few broken bones such as a few broken ribs, fractured elbow and head trauma. We need to do surgery as soon as possible. We’re not sure when she’ll wake up, but-”

A nurse ran out of the emergency room. “DOCTOR WE NEED YOU BACK IN THE ROOM.” Eisuke couldn’t help himself but run towards the room. Y/N was in danger and he knew that. “What’s going on here? Y/N don’t leave me, please! Promise me you’ll fight!” He yelled as the Nurses and Doctors tried to save Y/N. “I’m sorry Sir but you need to leave the room. We need to do our job.” Stated one of the Doctors. “You better do your job right then and save her!”

Eisuke could stay still, not knowing how Y/N was doing in there. He couldn’t help but cry, he prayed for Y/N’s safety cause he didn’t know what to do without her. She was the light and happiness in his dark and lonely life.

Nurses came in and out of the emergency room where Y/N was confined. As much as Eisuke wanted to ask what was going on he didn’t want to interrupt anything. The doctor did mention that she needed surgery and lost a lot of blood during the accident. He connected the dots with a matter of time, it wasn’t that hard but it’s hard for him to think straight when Y/N is involved.

After another three hours of waiting the Doctor once again approached Eisuke. “I apologize for the wait, Sir. We did everything and -”

“No...” He whispered. “This isn’t happening.” More tears rolled down his face. His worst nightmare is about to come true. Eisuke grabbed the Doctors collar, “I thought you were going to save her!”

“Sir if you’d let me finish my sentence before you assume anything that would be great.” Eisuke released the Doctor. “As I was saying, We did everything and the surgery is a success. The patient just needs to get enough rest for a faster recovery and you’ll need to be there for her when she wakes up.”

Eisuke planned on doing that in the first place but right now he wanted to see her as soon as possible. He couldn’t believe that the Doctor had the audacity to give him a scare like that. He really thought he was going to lose Y/N.

Days have passed and Y/N was still lying on the bed, Eisuke couldn’t wait until she opens her eyes. He would bring his work to the hospital and would ask Soryu every now and then if he could look after her for a while.

Eisuke rushed to the hospital and cancelled all his meetings when he got a call from Soryu saying that Y/N is finally awake. Upon his arrival, he tried not to hug her because he knows that she had a few broken bones. It was hard for him to restrain himself but he had to do what he needed to do during that time to help her recover. “You don’t know how happy I am to see you Y/N. I was worried sick after the accident.” He caressed her hair. “Sorry Eisuke, I wasn’t able to cook your favourite meal and I was being clumsy as usual on the way back. I didn’t mean to have you waste your time taking care of me in the hospital.” She smiled weakly at him. “Let’s not worry about that right now. Focus on your fast recovery and then once you’re better we can cook together. How does that sound?”

“That sounds perfect.”

Eisuke took care of Y/N until she was discharged from the hospital and he kept his promise of cooking together once she was better. Ever since the accident, he would ask her to wait for him so that the two of them can go grocery shopping together. He didn’t want Y/N to end up in the hospital again and at least then, he gets to spend time with her.

Ice Princess - Krioff

Y/N and Krioff weren’t always close as they are now, they use ignore each other presence when one of them passes by. But for Krioff to ignore someone while he walks down the hall is normal, it’s nothing new. Y/N on the other hand was used to greeting everyone she met, that is until the incident happen. Ever since then, she wasn’t the same Y/N anymore. 

Krioff noticed the small box with markings that Y/N would always carry whenever there’s a lot of people around her. No one’s really suspicious about it because it looks like something she’d hold to carry her things such as her reading book, pencil and paper because she tends to sketch sometimes. 

One day Y/N came out to the backyard and she sat at her most memorable spot with her maid. Krioff can only watch and observe her from afar but he did notice the box beside her again. It made him curious what was inside the box that she carries around and wanted to confront her about it. 

He walked towards Y/N, “May I sit here?” He asked. 

“That’s fine, as long as you don’t bother me.” She stated. 

It was now or never, he was going to ask her about the box no matter what. Curiousity killed the cat they say, but curiousity is killing him softly and wanted to get over with it. “Just one thing though... Y/N what’s in that box? And why do you carry that around?” 

Y/N stopped what she was doing and drop her pen. She looked at Krioff and he was determined to know what was in the box. She sighed, “Well if you must know... You might as well listen. But let me tell you this I am not repeating it okay?” She looked at him before starting her story. 

”First of all you should know by now that I tend to push people away because she’s afraid that she’ll hurt them, even her own parent feared me. Why? You might ask, its because of the power that I possess” 

Flashback

Her parents were afraid of the power she posses and could possible harm them or the kingdom that they rule. They didn’t see Y/N as their daughter but they saw her as a threat, this meant that they did everything to keep Y/N away from the public and the eyes of their people. No one knew what the Princess Y/N looked like unless they’re inside working in the castle. 

Although she has ice powers, she feels like the love from her parents are colder compared to it. She never understood why her parents were very distant to her, but whenever she saw a maid’s love to their child, she felt envious. Sometimes she’d wonder if her parents regretted having her at all or that they wished she was never born. 

One day her parents appointed a maid to take care of Y/N. She was around her age and didn’t have any family, the maid was taken in and they’d train her in order to have a place to sleep in. Y/N didn’t know the importance of a friend or feeling love and wanted because she was never given that kind of affection from her parents. But everything changed when the maid came into her life. 

Y/N was happier and would smile a lot. But because she was quite young, she didn’t know how to control her powers just yet. That was easily solved due to the young maids observation. “Your Majesty, I think the Princess’ mood can either cause greatness to our kingdom or the opposite of it.” Both the King and Queen looked at the young girl thinking that she’s crazy. “What do you mean by that exactly?” The King asked. 

“I have noticed that whenever the Princess is happy or in a good mood it’s always warmer around her or the weather outside in general even though it’s the peak of our winter season. But if she’s in a foul mood the temperature drops therefore there are time during our winter season comes early. However this is just an observation Your Majesty, it is just a theory.” 

The King and Queen thought about those times where their winter came sooner that they’d expect that’s why the people in their kingdom would start harvesting or travelling to neighbouring kingdoms to trade their crops. They wanted to test this theory and maybe they’ve been doing everything wrong. Maybe it was time to stop getting scared of their own daughter and maybe start showing her some love. 

It was hard for the King and Queen to show their affections at first and it took Y/N by a surprised by the sudden turn of tides that her parents have been acting, not that she hates it or anything but she loved the attention. She was finally getting the attention she wanted from them from the longest time and that was because of a young maid’s observation. “Thank you, it seems like you know our daughter well more that we do.” The Queen thanked the maid. “I don’t have a family anymore but I know how much they loved me and when I saw the Princess, I wanted to help her. There is nothing you should be thanking me for Your Majesty.” 

Years have passed and the Kingdom was doing well. There were no more unpredictable winters and Y/N was finally happy. As they grew older their friendship grew stronger. They weren’t a Princess or a Maid, they were bestfriends, sisters even. No one could separate the two and she was the one who showed Y/N the feeling of being loved. And because the Maid made Y/N happy, the King and Queen did not object Y/N’s wish that the maid will sleep in her room with her rather than the maid quarters. It was the least they can do for helping them how to control Y/N powers. 

One night on a full moon Y/N invited the maid over to her room. Y/N wanted to know what the world was like out there. “Your Highness the temperature is dropping but the surroundings were still as beautiful as ever.” 

“Man, I wish I could go out there someday.” Y/N sighed, she was jealous. She really wants to see the outside world and experience it herself rather than hearing stories. Just then Y/N stomach growled loudly and caused the her and the maid to laugh. 

The two of them ventured out to the kitchen trying to make minimal noise because they didn’t want to wake up the people in the castle but the two could stop giggling. Y/N was very happy that day that her powers slowly started to show. The maid knew her powers and she thought that it was very cool that Y/N has powers like that. 

“Are you going to make your special shaved ice again Your Highness?” The maid beamed with happiness. 

“You’re never going to get tired of eating the shaved ice I make huh.” 

“Never!” She replied causing Y/N to chuckle. 

Even though they tried to be quiet, the Queen walked down. “Mother!” Y/N yelped in surprise as she hid her hand behind her back and hoped that nothing happen. Regardless of how much she wanted to stop her powers then, most of it hit the maid square on the chest and Y/N only noticed when her bestfriend fell down to the ground. 

“No, no, no. This can’t be happening. I’m sorry. I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to!” It was starting to get harder for the other girl to breath because her chest was struck with Y/N’s ice powers. The Queen stood there in shock, she didn’t know that she would witness this, she knew that it was an accident as well but that didn’t erase the feeling that she might be Y/N’s next victim. “Your Highness please don’t cry. I know it wasn’t your fault. It was an accident so please don’t cry. You don’t want me to remember your crying face now do we? And I must say this is the only time I can say that you have an ugly cry.” Y/N knew that she was trying to make her feel better and she also knew that she’s trying to take tension away. 

“Come on now Your Highness, please smile for me. And promise me that you’ll always be happy no matter what, at least for the both of us.” Y/N could only nod as she cried holding her best friend in her arms. “Can you please smile one last time for me Your Highness? Seeing your smile always made everything better for me.” Y/N wiped all her tears and showed her a smile. “I’ll always remember you Your Highness. I hope you’ll always remember me.... Farewell, my friend.” Her hand went limp and Y/N cried. The Queen woke up the King and told her the news. They needed to think something fast. 

The King and Queen new that your powers could either benefit them, or be their worst nightmare, either or, they weren’t going let this happen again. They already neglected her before and that made things worst, now all they could do is guide her and seek help on how to control her powers. 

The King thought of an excuse why Y/N needed a new maid and everyone believed them. It was also easier because that maid didn’t have any family therefore no one will look for her even she’s gone. 

Ever since the death of her best friend she would try to distance herself from others even her parents. She was afraid that she’d accidentally hurt them just like how she did to her only friend. The King and Queen assured her that it wasn’t going to happen, they will do everything to help Y/N control her powers even if it takes years. 

Each day that Y/N mourns for the death of her dearest friend she promised herself not to leave the room anymore unless it’s an important matter. She took out on of the gifts that the maid gave her three years ago when she went to town and shopped around. That was the only thing she had in remembrance of her and she would think about the happy moments they had as she held them. The maid already helped her once when she noticed that Y/N’s mood affects a cold and early winter or warm winter at its peak. And now her gift is acting as an absorber of her powers to lessen it or possibly helping her control it without Y/N even realizing it. 

End of Flashback

“And that’s the end of the story. I keep this box around me to keep me from hurting other especially the ones that I love.” Y/N stated. 

Krioff can only look at her with admiration. He didn’t know that she went through a lot. Plus he couldn’t believe that her own parents even hated her for in the beginning. They didn’t even bother loving her first and showering her with the love she needs but he was glad someone what there to show her what love was and he wouldn’t mind if he’s going to be the reason why she opens up to people once again. 

He knows that its still too early to tell but he wanted to get to know her more and make her happy. He just wanted to be there for her because she doesn’t have anyone else. He wants to fill that void in her heart and although it’ll be a challenge he will take that challenge head on and conquer in no matter how long it takes.
