Let’s get the big one out the way first: I DID A THING! ^0^

TS4 to TS3 RoM Window

REQUIRES INTO THE FUTURE EP; sue me.

Has 4 recolorable variations. I recommend using the No Stencil Mod to remove the overlays on the moon and rose variations, if you want 2 extra variations without the colors. I could have just added them in...but I forgot. So you only get 4. Oops.

[EDIT] There’s a Diagonal Window included, because it’s linked to the the regular one, so you need to install both for the regular one to work diagonally. I don’t make the rules. :P

TS4 to TS3 RoM Arches as Wall Art

I just don’t have enough time or patience to figure out how to make windows AND arches. So I cheated and just made the arches as wall art. SUE ME!

The Lotus Arch was ripped from the RoM Lotus Door, which was uncannily similar to ShinoKCR’s old art nouveau door at TSR. 

The Gnomish Arch can be used with inconspicuous arches -- I used the Never-Ending Arches by Cyclonesue at TSR.

The Gnomish Arch has 4 recolorable variations, matching the windows.

Art Nouveau Rugs & Floor Stencils

I just wanted some thematic rugs, and whipped these up real quick. A butt-ton of variations are included.

The Stencils are recolorable. The Rugs are...n’t...ish?

Monthly Challenge Theme for 01/2020

is….”Working on Farms!”🎉🎉🎉

The possibilities are endless:

build a farm lot; residential or community, with whatever animals or crops (barns, coops, nurseries, greenhouses, hothouses, etc.)

new build or buy mode CC -- conversions, new meshes, frankenmeshes!

Cyberpunk Metropolis

My contribution to the Creator’s Cave theme for September: Urban.

Included are 22 items total. 13 are holograms, with different themes (Afrofuturism, Asian, and General), and sizes (2 storeys high, and 2, 4, or 6 tiles wide -- only one’s 1 storey high).

(The file names are a hot mess, so I might’ve thrown in unnecessary duplicates. Oops.) Found under Outdoor Lights and Wall Lights. Semi-recolorable, some with a plain variation included (IDER which ones though). I’m tired, ok, yeesh.

The rest of the .zip has a few random TS4 to TS3 conversions, to help decorate your futuristic city streets.

Some of y’all may recognize this set from my Holograms Tutorial here. I hadn’t really intended to upload them, until I saw the winning theme for the month. Urban...metropolis...same difference. So I decided to just do a whole set fit for cyberpunk neon cities.

I had so many Holograms variations that I decided to split them into multiple files, with holograms of different themes (Afrofuturism, Asian, and General).

YES, there’s a variation for “Wakanda,” and “Cyberpunk” in Katakana.

And YES, there’s Grace Jones variations.

And YES, Janelle Monae’s included, too. Cuz she’s THE Arch-Android. 

[EDIT: 08/2021] Wow, I just realized that I never showed y’all all the different variations--I need adult supervision to remember these things, okay!?

The TS4 to TS3 Billboards are from City Living, so credit to @kandiraver-sims for extracting it here!

The TS4 to TS3 SciFi Planters, and Consoles #3 & #5 are all from Rumoruka-Raizon, who apparently deleted all their stuff?

HUGE shoutout to @mspoodle1 for helping me with the planters! :D

The Planters REQUIRE the ITF EP. They’re fully recolorable, and the monitors come in several non-recolorable variations.

The Console Bases are decor, and their hologram Screens are Floor Lights. To make Console #5 in particular appear “functional,“ use the MoveObjectsOn cheat to place the Invisible Arcade Machines.

The Swoop arcade REQUIRES the ITF EP. The Freezer Bunny arcade REQUIRES the Late Night EP. They’re all fully recolorable, found under Misc Electronics.

Last, and IMO least, is the Atlas Sculpture as Misc Surface. I resized it to fit my Hologram Globe here, with 3 decor slots on his neck.

I somehow effed up the texture of the sculpture though. I wanted it to be translucent, like glass or a hologram, but it didn’t turn out right. Oh well. I can’t be bothered.

SIMPLE GARDEN STATION

I completely forgot that I’ve used the work of David Montenegro as the base (to make sure the store content works, the mesh was modified from EA original though.) I have fixed the problem, testing both versions in game and updated the links. The new file won't override David's anymore. Please download the new zip or just replace with the fixed one HERE.

Fruit Decor REDONE

Alrighty, we’re trying this again, this time with new meshes, more varieties, and lower polys! ^0^

I decided to completely rehaul the cups and the bowl with more slots, so that you can pile fruit on top of each other if you want to. The slots act kinda finicky though, so just have a bit of patience with them.

The Grapes are extras I threw in cuz all I wanted was the glass bowl, LOL. I had to shave way too many polys off and it killed the quality. But have ‘em anyway, I guess. :\

Only the 2 berries and the Bag of Oranges are recolorable this time, sadly. But the 2 Citrus Slices have the same variations as my Hanging Citrus Slices here (cuz they’re the same mesh, LOL). The Orange Halves have a variation for Grapefruit/Blood Oranges, and I did include a recolorable variation, but....ehhhh....Nah. And Slox’s Watermelons aren’t recolorale either, cuz duh.

Monthly Challenge Theme for November 

is....”architecture & architectural style”🎉🎉🎉

Though the example used in the questionnaire is Art Nouveau, please feel free to try other architectural styles!

As for the big question of whether to change the frequency or not, more people would like to keep status quo. However, we’ve also received some valuable suggestions, like bimonthly instead of monthly/quarterly, or release the theme earlier.   

Combining all the above suggestions, we can vote and decide the theme a month earlier and use November / December as a buffering, since most creators would work on winter/Christmas CC in before the end of December. The next vote (for January) could be held by the end of November so creators would have more time to work on, meanwhile, any architectural CC is welcomed before the next theme comes up. 

The tutorial suggestion should be very useful for creators, anyone can submit any tutorial at anytime and we will add them on our tutorial archive ASAP. If creators find the need for certain tutorials, they can ask for other creators’ help on our discord. Anyone can join this event or submit their tutorials without tumbr accounts, as long as the effective links are provided!      

Last but not least, it’s not the first time that we received suggestions for the theme AFTER the vote. To keep the challenge as fair and open as it should be, all of the options in our votes comes from simmers’ submission and we don’t choose themes for the participants. So please don’t make assumptions and just submit your ideas! We don’t bite!

Dia de los Muertos Set

My contribution to the Creator’s Cave theme for August : Holidays & Vacations.

I always wanted to do Dia de los Muertos CC, but I was always planning something else each Simblreen. So I’m very happy with this set, and excited to share it with y’all.

Included are 6 fully recolorable items, converted from TS4′s DDLM patch, for your bone-inclined Y/A - AM sims:

FLAWS: I HIGHLY recommend using the No Stencil Mod at MTS to remove the shiny plastic specular in CAS. (Speculars confuse me SO much, y’all, sorry.)

Other than that, I think these came out pretty dang good (see my in-game pics here). I feel like my Friends on the Other Side definitely helped me out.

EA Plants REDONE - Part 3!

My contribution to the Creator’s Cave theme for June: Gardening!

Included are 3 sets of default replacements for EA’s bushes, trees, flowers, and special weather effects:

EA Desaturated Shrubbery and Heather

EA WA EP Maple Tree Redder & Bulrushes Darker

SN-SSNS EP Reviving Sprinkle as Pink Petals, Red Maple, or Green Leaves

The Desaturated set includes the BASEGAME Boston Fern, Cattails and Pampas Grass, and the Heather flowers. 

The SN-SSNS EP set REQUIRES the SUPERNATURAL AND SEASONS EPS to unlock the Weather Stone’s Reviving Sprinkle weather effect, which I gave three different retextures (Sakura, Kaede, and Ha). Only install ONE of these at a time.  You can see gifs of each effect I made here.

The WA EP set REQUIRES WORLD ADVENTURES, and makes the Bulrushes plant darker green and the Chinese Maple Tree more saturated/redder.

Reviving Sprinkle REDONE

I just need to explain more about the SN-SSNS Reviving Sprinkle, for those who might be unaware.

If you have Supernatural AND Seasons installed, EA includes the Weather Stone to your game. It automatically appears on a community lot in your current world (I usually see it in Parks). AFAIK only SN’s Occult Sims can use it, to unlock different magical weather effects.

The Reviving Sprinkle is a weather effect only used by Fairy sims.

Taking this directly from the wiki:

When fairies create this spring shower of blossoms, all the gardens in the Sims’ world are instantly revived and cared for. (This will cause all wilting plants to be instantly watered and weeded.)

HOWEVER! In my gameplay I tried using that stupid mofo three times in a row to trigger the weather effect, and it failed every effing time! >_< Has the Weather Stone been modded to lower the failure rate, cuz jfc! :(

But I would NOT be thwarted, cuz eff EA -- I had an ace up my sleeve~!

I HIGHLY recommend using Cmomoney’s Time/Weather Mod at MTS!

It allows you to automatically change the weather to whatever you want, whenever you want -- including all the special effects from the Weather Stone.

I made the Reviving Sprinkle with 3 different plants: Cherry, Maple, and Leaf. Each has 3 different densities: Normal, Sparser, and Sparsest, in case you want more or less of them falling from the sky. You can see each of them in action here.

Mind you, you can only install ONE (1) of the nine (9) different files in your game at a time.
