Current Projects!
Hey y'all! I hope everyone had an amazing holiday (and recovery)!
The holidays were super busy for us but also had some amazing downtime afterwards, so I've been busy in the background. I have some things I've been working on that I'm super excited to have in my own game, so I'll be sharing those with you soon! I'm wrapping up testing on several different items and hope to have most of them out next week - with plans for more!

Also during the holidays (not ts3cc related), I managed to sort/re-merge ALL of my CAS, Mods, and Build files, [I'm working on my Buy section now] for the first time since 2020. So I may actually have a fully packed and working game for the first time in several years lol
I also plan this year to go through all of my own content and make fixes (we're talking almost 6 years of personal growth here, yikes), updates, and complete my WIP lists that have been abandoned.
All in all, we have big goals for our family this year, and I have big goals for our TS3 community in 2025!
Lets make this an amazing year for us! Looking forward to possibly making new ts3 friends, and reconnecting with old.

Mmkay most of you probably won't understand this, but I am documenting my progress because I just like doing that on my blog. And if this post reaches anyone with experience willing to help that would be great lmaoo.
So the good news is I've got the ingredient model into ts3. The geostates are done! The mesh was originally 20k POLYGONS, but I got it down to 438 :). And it was very easy. @bietjie was VERY helpful to me in answering my noob questions and I did not want to bother them too much more! But their help and their guide probably cut my project time in HALF! I def would've stumbled over this part without them so TYSM for that!
Stopping the project here for now as it's getting late, but I got as far as making my event handler and buffs template. Since I really want custom moodlets with the ingredients. If you watched my cooking overhaul guide then you know you'd be able to use these buffs in any recipe in the game, which is the main function that I want out of the ingredients. I am stuck on understanding the STBL's and how to link them (and anticipate I will get tripped up on the thumbnail as well LOL), I will try again tmrw after work, thanks for coming to my TED talk!

First test shots of my nails in-game! Sadly, the sliders do not work and I have not figured out why (I renumbered them to match the vertex number IDs of Kanoyas mesh). Any tips or ideas for this problem are very welcome. Otherwise, I like how the nails look in-game. Nitpicky as I am, I feel that the specular is a bit too diffuse (I am going to try to get it sharper). The nails do get blurry if more than one accessory is put on (as happens with all accessories). The sim with the tattoo is wearing multiple accessories and thus, the flowers preset is a bit blurry but not that noticeable on this preset. If you look closely at the natural design choices (babyboomer/ombre style and classic french), you'll notice that I added lunulae which can be recolored. Sadly, they are not visible while wearing multiple accessories due to the blurriness. But these details are only noticeable in extreme closeups anyway. The best thing would be to stick to single colors or big and simple patterns on the nails while wearing multiple accessories. I have made a matte recoloring option as well—as shown on the dark nails. The back of the nails can be recolored too, which gives nice effects as you can see in the last image.

Yikes... well I haven’t posted an update in weeks because, well, there isn’t much to update on. I got a little burnt out from making these huge cylindrical buildings and I also realized that I would have to redo almost all of their textures (forgot to freaking add ambient occlusion😐). Plus getting the canals to work with Super Caw was more difficult than I had expected. On the other hand, I’ve been building this large industrial city world and will be halfway done in a few days. Don’t worry though, I’ve done too much work to get rid of my Naboo worldšŸ˜‚... but it’ll be put on the back burner for the mean time until my motivation gets replenished(Tbh rewatching attack of the clones might do the trick).
Anyways, I’ll be posting photos of my new city which is inspired (and relies heavily) on the amazing Boroughsburg and has a pinch of Gotham city vibesšŸ˜‰

We've been watching 'Game of Thrones' again at home, and I'm sitting there taking notes on the props lol. Now we have ground arrows, thanks to one of the battle scenes!

Side Notes: After this I'm wanting to make some "battlefield" content. We have archery, and sword fighting, even a forge to make weapons... but we don't have much decor items to really set the scene for medieval warfare, battlefields, or medieval combat.
So, I'm gonna ask for ideas and suggestions! Comment, inbox me, or meet me over on discord! Lets bring some gore to our game just in time for the Halloween season!

Saint Greer Islands - Works in progress
I’m still building in SGI, though I am the slowest in the world... Here are two WIP: St Georges Convalescent Hospice, and an unnamed lot that for now has the Police Station and a bistro, and I will probably add to it the bank and other random communiity stuff, I’m still undecided. The last picture just shows a bit of the city hall, hospital and library, just so I can fool myself into thinking I’ve made some progress :D
I love my hospital, I am really proud of it. The only problem is that now that it’s built, I HATE the library next to it, it’s just a big box :(

Finally was able to test this world in game today. There are some things I need to correct -of course; and about 16 more residential lots to build, but I’m all too happy to play it as it is...if only my sim wouldn’t get lonely since there are no other residents around.
This world uses the awesomeĀ New Zealand Distant Terrain by @hydrangeachainsaw. Why awesome? Because I got distracted one too many times in CAW (and now in game) with how beautiful it looks through the fir trees, lol. Especially the snow covered peaksĀ  šŸ˜
How do the edges of the actual map look in the places where they connect to the DT? Ha, it’s a matter that shan’t be discussed. šŸ˜Ž Ever. (Ugh, I did such a poor job there... šŸ˜”)
No nectary will ever be the same in TS3 because of @grandelamaā€˜s vineyard fence.Ā  Such an amazingĀ  (and needed) creation! 🤩  Pardon my excitement, to my shame I only found it recently.

I’m trying to keep this world as light and CC free as possible, with the exceptions above & rabbithole rugs, but it’s loaded with recolors (vegetation & world deco).Ā 
My first time using custom lighting mods and I think I’ll make a habit out of it since they make everything look so nice.

What happened to Port Valentine? I reached a point where I’m uninspired and too lazy to create the CC it needs. I’m gonna resume working on it as soon as my muse returns from the woods.

Thank you @murfeelee​! I’ve finally got a handle on the UV Mapping. Now I just need to finish extracting the rest of the assets I want to convert (and figure out what the difference is with some of the variants) and scale them down (these guys are tiny in their game but HUGE by S3 standards; you can see the tiny Blender cursor there) and then it’s off to fight with TSRW...I wonder if I can clone the lilypads for these alien whales...the large two are meant to float on the surface with the smaller three below (I don’t really want to break up the pod and they’re all one mesh anyways)...
I won’t give a timeline, because I honestly don’t know, but hopefully soon.
