Credits: The dreidel was converted to an accessory from @pandorasimbox’s Judaism Stuff Pack. You do not need to download their CC for the accessory to show up and work in game, but I would recommend it because it’s a great set of CC. Shoutout to them and their TOU for allowing me to convert it to an accessory!

Set Up: Place all teleporters in the center of the table. Sim A is the only one that needs to have the dreidel accessory (which can be found in the ring category). It’s a stigmata accessory which will enable the dreidel to move freely around the table as needed.

Do your little Jewish sim boys need itchy cardigans to be shoved into for holiday events? Then these are for you!

I thought it sad that the Seasons cardigan had Christmas Tree cardigans but nothing for Hanukkah or Rosh Hashanah, so I decided to try my hand at a few extra swatches. Although the Star of David and Menorah cardigans repeat the pattern all the way around, the Apples and Honey cardigan reads "שנה טובה."

A small pet project of mine. Here are portraits of 13 Jewish individuals who influenced the fields of science, activism, and entertainment in the last 100+ years and have had an impact on my own cultural identity. Some you will likely recognize; others you might want to research! Below I put who each person is and what they are known for.

PLEASE READ FIRST!

When you add the tray files to your game the Sukkah will be called "Jewish Hut", due to the Gallery's forbidden word filter the word "Sukkah" was not allowed. You can also search for it in your library under my Origin name, RivkaSchwartz.

Decided to make a Sukkah in TS4, and decided to share it in case other people want one but don't feel like building it. Sukkot's been over but it's better late than never. This is a 6x4 room, all you need to do after you place it where you want is remove the walls and floor. DO NOT REMOVE THE ROOM UNTIL YOU'RE SURE WHERE YOU WANT IT (due to the fact I used a build mode trick to put the curtains on the trellis). MAKE SURE YOU HAVE BB.MOVEOBJECTS ON BEFORE YOU PLACE IT ON THE LOT!

Jewish Sims

Short Rant:

I love all the cultural inclusion we’ve had lately in the sims 4, but something’s been bugging me. There isn’t a lick of Jewish culture in the game. I can’t make an accurate version of my father in my sim family, since he wears a kippah. There isn’t even any CC for it. There’s like one little menorah in the holiday pack. That’s like a tiny fraction of Judaism, and not even an important part. Even kippot are just the tip of the iceberg.

Along the same lines, where are our hijabs and burqas? The game is lacking in religious attire, but at least there’s a decent amount of Muslim related CC. Why did my search only turn up with a disgusting sim version of that cartoon of a bearded Jewish man rubbing his hands together?

Judaism isn’t just a religion, it’s my culture, and I wish this game included it at least a little more than that one menorah- and if not, that some CC creators would be willing to remedy that.

And, if anyone has the time, would you be willing to make some kippot in simple colors for ts4 so I can finally fix my simself’s dad? XD
