7.) how would you describe the relationships between the characters in the story within eight words or less?

Oh boy lmao, I'm gonna pick TSATM for this one bc that's mostly about Drew and Vivienne's relationship:

It's always gonna be Wren Argent/The Phantom Prince. They are literally the specialest boy (gender neutral) in the entire THV-verse and they are my favorite.

13.) how long have you been working on this project? what has changed from the outset?

I'll go with THV for this one. I started working on it about 5 years ago, and the original premise was, "What if a teen hero and a teen villain decided to be friends?" And then I very quickly decided that I was mainly concerned with the villain's side of the story, and it developed from there, lol. Phantom's eventual friendship with his nemesis, Fenix, is still a pretty big part of the story, but I wouldn't say it's the main premise. The main premise is definitely villain stuff and gender fuckery.

24.) best scene youve written?

Oof, that's a hard one. I'll answer this one for TSATM, because I've been working on that more lately. I didn't write this scene recently, but there's a part right at the end where (without giving away too many spoilers) Drew gets to commit violence against people who have wronged him, and it's extremely satisfying to me. Sometimes ... violence is the answer.

(I could have made it more violent, tbh. Maybe I will in the next draft. He's still being too nice.)

Victory sings through Neil’s veins like cracker dust as he finishes towelling off after his post-match shower. Fìrinn can’t stay still, dancing around his ankles and discussing the match’s highlights at a mile a minute, how brilliant their teammates were, how determined, how amazing. He nearly trips over her five times in as many minutes, but her joy is so infectious that it doesn’t bother him in the slightest. The whole team is the same, buzzing with their success. Andrew had thrown his heart and soul into the match, closing down the goal like his life depended on it, and the whole team had fed from his determination to secure another win from the foxes. Neil has never seen Andrew look so alive, human and daemon working in tandem to shout instructions across the court and anticipate the opposing team’s every move. Neil wants more, wants everything, wants nothing else until the day he dies.

He’s halfway to the locker room door when his phone starts to buzz.

The first thing he hears when he picks up is not a voice, but something far worse. It’s the high, breathy hiss of a daemon he hoped never to see again, and the bolt of panic that goes through him is so sharp that he nearly drops the phone.

Oooof I actually have a huge document of deleted and/or rewritten Iron and Ember scenes that I can’t share yet because ~Enormous Spoilers~. If there’s enough interest when the fic is complete I’ll probably stick it all online as bonus content. I tragically had to remove a few lines about Jeremy Knox being the leader of the foggy swamp water tribe. I am DESPERATE to weave that titbit back in somewhere.😭

Anyway, have a few snippets of Limbic Resonance dialogue that I took out because it wasn’t working with the flow of the chapter at the time. It might still worm its way back in in later conversations, but for now, here’s some no-context sense8 andreil:

For TSATH, I figured it would have an audience of like, two point five people max. I hadn’t come across any other daemon fics before, so I figured HDM was a bit too obscure/unheard of to garner any real interest as a crossover fic.

☽: how people *actually* responded TSATH: I’m just. Every time I update it I am speechless. The people who are invested enough to send me asks, to make memes, to comment essay-length dissections of daemon behaviours... I cry evry tim. I had no goddamned idea anyone but me would care about TSATH and I was so wonderfully, wonderfully wrong.
