neteyam

he always walks you to class. he loves company, especially yours. neteyam would go the extra mile by carrying your bag or holding your stuff. and he’s so humble about it! he doesn’t even think that it’s something you should thank him for. to neteyam, it’s just the standard. he once told you that most of his childhood was spent with his mother and grandmother, two women in his life who really care about manners.

he packs extra lunch for you. neteyam is the type of guy to bring an extra lunch box just for you. if you’re not hungry or you brought your own lunch, he’ll insist you take it home. you don’t know what you did to deserve him. he would experiment with different cuisines and sneak in little notes that make you swoon. sometimes, you return the favor. when you pack his favorites, like steamed fish or grilled meat, he loses his mind. everyone finds your relationship sickeningly sweet.

lo’ak 

he probably vaped at least once. he’s the type of guy to give into peer pressure. if someone offered him a blue razz ice elfbar at a party, he would try it without thinking twice. much to your surprise, lo’ak didn’t really get into it. he likes to brag about it though, especially to ao’nung. you scold him when he does. part of the reason why he tries to stay away from that stuff is because of you. he knows that you don’t like it when he jeopardizes his health, so he makes an honest effort to be mindful of his decisions.

he skips class. a lot. honestly, you’ve lost count of how many times he’s offered to “walk you to class” and lead you in the opposite direction. you guys usually stay on campus, like maybe in the janitor’s closet or under the gym bleachers. when you guys aren’t, though, you’re usually running off to a local gas station or even the mall. it really just depends on the class period. lo’ak isn’t exactly the best influence on you.

her favorite class is biology. it’s just the closest thing she could get to botany as a high schooler. kiri is interested in all things related to plants, to the extent that she started a club dedicated to maintaining the school garden. she doesn’t have any leadership positions like tsireya, though, but she likes it that way. kiri doesn’t want to feel the pressure of dealing with other people. she also doesn’t have the mental strength to be constantly reminded of the fact that global warming exists.

she skips class occasionally. you’re always surprised at how rebellious she’s capable of being. unlike lo’ak, she doesn’t stay on campus. she’s out the door when she gets the chance. instead of staying at places like the mall, though, kiri stays at the local park. it’s where she gets most of her work done. she usually doesn’t drag you with her against your will, because she understands that the risk isn’t always worth it. you’ve never said no to her, though.

ao’nung

he plays close-contact and collision sports. remember when he tackled lo’ak in that one fight scene? yeah. ao’nung would channel that energy into sports like basketball, rugby, and even wrestling. ao’nung isn’t a team captain or anything. that’s way too much commitment, but he does have the most influence. because he earns titles like “player of the game” or “star player,” ao’nung knows how to get sponsors for trips. you hate how it gets in his big head.

he sits behind you in every single class you have together. ao’nung finds it more convenient to talk to you this way. if there’s assigned seating, he’ll bribe, beg, or do literally anything else to sit behind you. it gets him in trouble most of the time, but it’s worth the effort. if it does work, though, ao’nung likes to braid small pieces of your hair or pass notes during class. your classmates give you two funny looks, but they never say anything about it. courtesy of ao’nung.

she’s the captain of the swim team. she’s a natural in the water. she’s also very good at raising team morale, so there’s really no other person fit for captain. you always attend her swim meets and cheer her on as much as possible. if you’re being honest, she doesn’t really need it since she crushes the competition every single time. she literally brings home gold every single year. your school will literally never find another swimmer as talented as her.

she’s the head of the house and grounds committee. tsireya would be an environmental activist. she’s got a big heart. she spearheads all activities related to the environment in your school and even started a conservation charity. you have no idea how this girl manages all of that on top of sports and school work. it does get in the way of your quality time with her, but it makes her happy so you don’t complain.

Summary: You, Max, and Norm were called by Jake to travel to Awa’atulu to check on Kiri’s health after experiencing a seizure. After Ronal healed Kiri, you were curious about the place and you decided to stay for a bit longer.

“Get out! You have done nothing!” Neytiri exclaimed. Max, Norm, and Jake quickly left the marui. Once you were about to follow Neytiri stopped you indicating she wants you to stay by her daughters side. She knows how you and Kiri are close together back in the forest. So she decided to keep you in as a surprised for her daughter.

You sat beside the entrance looking worried for Kiri’s health. The Tsahik isn’t satisfied that you are still on her sight, but nevertheless she started her chanting. As she released a blow, Kiri twitches and cries. Neytiri quickly grabbed her hands and pat her head cooing her with the sweetest words.

The Tsahik then left the marui to give them some their own time. You were intrigued by the chant that she did so you followed her. She tried to walk faster than you to lose your track, but you jogged your way to her.

“Hello, Mrs. Tsahik. I’m (y/n), nice to meet you.” She then stopped and turned around with an irritated look. She walked slowly to you and crouched to met her eyes. You were slightly surprised intimidated by her gaze, but also amazed by her features. This is the first time you saw a new type of Na’vi face-to-face.

“I have no interest talking to a demon.” She then continued to walk leaving you behind. You were sad that you couldn’t talk to her. Your mind is full of questions, wanting to know how they live, how they hunt food, what’s the equivalent of ikran to them. Though you kinda expected that they would react that way to a human like you, they never like humans anyways so why would the Tsahik give you a pass.

You walked back to the marui feeling down until you saw Kiri sitting down beside her mother, drinking some water. You were delighted to see your friend in a good condition. You walked up to her as her eyes widen with shock. She smiled at you, offered you to seat beside her and you did.

“So, how’s it going here?” She told all of the things happened. It was a struggle for them, but you’re happy that they are doing well here now. You hugged her tightly missing her warm large frame.

After awhile, Norm stated that you should all be going now. Kiri frowned at the thought of you leaving this early. You yourself then had a thought, you wanted to know more about this situation place, you’re still curious about things.

“No, I think I’ll stay here.” Norm was confused. He told you that you couldn’t stay longer here, specifically how the oxygen tank you have will only last for a week or two. You told him that you will then stay here for a week. Kiri is happy hearing these words from you. Though Norm is still worried.

“I promise, one week. Then you can pick me up after.” Norm just sighed and agrees. They both then left the island.

Tonowari

Tonowari isn’t exactly hostile to you like his wife. He agrees to let you in for a bit, it’s only a week anyways and you’re gone.

Lends you your own marui to put your things like laptop, test tubes, and other stuff.

Also let’s you take some samples of plants, letting him know some new type of plants you’ve seen and is intrigued.

Sometimes ask you for help to grab some fruits.

Teaches you how to fish, you told him that human usually use a fishing rod to do it which made him thinks humans are lazy—

You struggled to caught the fish, but eventually you did which earns a praise from Olo’eyktan

Ronal

Still hostile towards you

Ignores your every question about her being a Tsahik. Hisses at you to go away.

Her husband ordered you to be beside her every afternoon, so now she has an annoying chick following her.

Awkward silence is always present during afternoon. Carefully watching her every time she performed her chants to someone or make medicine.

“You forgot to put that on the leaf.” “…” “sorry.”

Few days of forced meetings, she started to open up to you

She starts to get curious about human health and explain it to her with your limited knowledge

You let her know about the new type of plants you’ve found and telling her the benefits using them for her medicine

She tried using them, which works and thankful for (but won’t admit it to you)

Starts to enjoy your company.

Ao’nung

Annoyed that his father let you in his island

“Great another freak” as he rolls his eye.

Have no choice, but to help you swim because his father demanded him to.

Grumpy every time you go on the surface for air

“It’s only been 15 seconds!” “I know I know! But I can’t hold it long!”

Good thing you have a diving kit just in case you needed to swim, Ao’nung isn’t flattered.

“Pfft! You look silly!” “Shut up! At least I won’t drown.”

Not gonna lie, he’s having fun when you’re around because of your playful personality

One time you made a sand castle and honestly he’s amaze, don’t know what a castle tho

Tsireya

Curious about you and the only nice one (and Tonowari) to you

She’s been told that humans are horrible, but as far as she seen you’ve been good at everyone (specially the sullys since your close to them)

Greeted you with a smile and also giggles to your height. “How a small person could be so threatening?” she thinks.

Every time you both spend time together you make jewelry for each other.

“Oh that looks pretty, Tsireya!” “Oh uhm thank you, hehe.”

Tie each others hair, use some pearls and shells to decorate it too

So far Tsireya is having fun with you

It’s your last day and you packed your whole stuff ready to go. Tsireya, Ao’nung, and the sully children inside your marui feeling down now that you’re leaving. You had a great time with them, but you have to go back to the forest.

Tuk ran to you holding you, “will you be back, (y/n)?” her teary eyes broke your heart, “sadly, I do think I will, Tuk.” These words made all of them frown. You tried to change the mood by saying, “at least we had a good time right?” But that time wasn’t enough for them. They wanted to spend more time with you, forever.

The kids help you settled your things near the shore where the helicopter just landed. Max and Norm is now ready to pick you up. Before you get on the helicopter, you heard your name being yelled by the Tsahik.

“(y/n)!” You turned around seeing the Tsahik and the Olo’eyktan beside here. She walked close to you giving you a bowl of fruit as a gift. The Olo’eyktan then walk beside his wife giving her the necklace that the Tsahik made and put it on you while smiling.

“(y/n), Oel ngati kameie.” Your eyes widen from those words. You just smiled at her and says, “oel ngati kameie, I see you too.”

You then get on the helicopter. It rises after you get on, you look down to them seeing them waving at you and saying goodbye, you also wave back to them. You’ll really miss them.

— he probably just naturally has a build built for water sports so he excels in it & is super cocky about it too (#blessedgenes)

— was defeated not given the choice on which sport he’d play when he was younger. both of his parents probably did either sport so they’d want him to also do it as well. or they at least wanted him to do one

— i don’t see him being the team captain but he’d def be co-captain or an alternate. he loves the sport don’t get him wrong but not to the extent where he’d be team captain. he already has enough pressure to perform well & doesn’t need that kind of title placed on him

— def see him being a butterflyer or a backstroker. like he much rather do those strokes in a swim meet than the other two

— is 100% the type of kid to have “eat my bubbles!” sharpied onto his arm or lower back during meets. probably begged his mom to write it on there too 😭

— also has to have the order of his races written on his arm so he doesn’t forget the order & where he’s supposed to go

— sees no point in wearing a swim cap

— always challenged himself by trying to score a point higher from his last game in water polo or get a better time in whatever stroke for swimming. he’d make sure to ask his parents to like reward him or something so he’d have the drive to do it. but even then, he’s still able to do it without the prize

— wears sandals everywhere. period. no arguments.a

— has such a bad swim trunk tan line. he really tries to get it even in the summer or during swimming season by wearing speedos lol

volleyball (indoor, sand, + grass)

— girl is graceful asf on the court

— position would probably be setter or outside i feel like. she might not have the height for it but def has the hops. like a secret weapon of sorts. you’d never expect it

— is 100% the team captain

— she is so supportive of her team & always makes sure that one of her teammates is not stuck in their head or blaming themselves for a bad play

— i can see her number either being 1 or some random ass number, like 49 or 27

— always has the best hair-dos on the court. she seriously goes all out

— def the designated braider of the team so she has to make sure her girls are looking fresh asf on the court too 🫶🏼

— very humble about her accomplishments & wins. she very much believes that an individual does not win a game, a team does so all of that congratulations should be projected to the team rather than on an individual level

— probably has this pregame ritual where she gets there super early to get used to the size of the gym/court. peppers by herself & gets into the zone 100%

— does volleyball literally all year around. so she’ll do school & club for indoor, sand in the summer, & grass for fun. it’s her whole life tbh

— i can also see her doing swim, but like only for a club during the summer when she doesn’t have anything for volleyball

𝜗𝜚 — When Tsireya first saw you when the Sullys' sought uturu in her home, she was intrigued by you, it was the first she saw a tawtute in person. Only she heard of them was that they were vrrteps and how they were bad people but as she looked at you admiring her home with a round thing on your face that she learned later that it’s an exopack that helps you breathe, she couldn’t help the feelings start brewing inside of her, to her you weren’t bad. 

𝜗𝜚 — It took some time for Jake to convince her parents to let you stay but the moment she heard them finally give in, she smiled knowing the fact that she’d be the one to teach you the way of the water.

𝜗𝜚 — One thing she absolutely loves is how short you are, you only went up to her chest but she loves that she can tower over you since she was short herself, and basically anyone towered over her so she was glad of the change. 

𝜗𝜚 — She loved how eager you were to learn the way of the water, sure it was harder for you but you never gave up, you kept trying. 

“Breathe from down here,” Tsireya says softly as she places one hand on your lower abdomen and the other on your chest after gaining permission to do so. “Breathe in,” you do as she says, breathing deeply. “And breathe out,” you exhale as you turn to look at her “[Name], your heartbeat is fast,” she looks into your eyes as your cheeks heat up. “Sorry.” “Try to focus.” you slightly nod and she smiles at how cute you were. 

𝜗𝜚 — One thing she learned about you is how fragile you were so she swore to protect you, always carried an extra exopack if the one you were wearing ever crack on the walks you and her took, a thing y’all pick up on doing to get to know each other. She’d protect you from her brother and his friends' bullying, making sure to let their father know of how Ao’nung was acting and always making sure he and his friends apologized to you. 

“You know you didn’t have to do that?” you voiced as you looked up at her earning a frown from her. “Do what, protect you?” you silently nod. “[Name], I won’t let people step all over you just because you’re different than them, I love my brother but he should know better.” You leaned more into her touch whispering a small ‘thank you’ and she smiles. “Now come on we have a date?... with an ilu.” you let out a chuckle as she leads you to the ocean. 

𝜗𝜚 — Of course, Ronal was not happy with you dating her daughter, all the Metkayinan women and she chose a tawtute for a girlfriend, she would never understand it but as she watches the two of you more, she sees what Tsireya sees in you and slowly accepts you in her family. 

𝜗𝜚 — Tonowari was more accepting of you cause he knew you had a strong heart and you didn’t look like you could hurt his daughter, hell you couldn’t hurt a bug. A smile would form on his face whenever he saw you two talking to each other with huge smiles on your faces, as long as Tsireya was happy, he was happy with your relationship. 

𝜗𝜚 — Tsireya knew you were the right one for her and why not seal the deal, sure you can’t mate like na’vis’ can but the two of you bonded in a different way, something so passionate that the two of you would treasure for the rest of your lives together.

my first tsireya drabble!! she's so beautiful and i love her and shes mine, thankyou for requesting her!!

It was not hidden the connection you and Tsireya shared. How every moment you two would be caught staring into each other’s eyes, making physical contact at any moment, always showing each other the care you had for one another.

So it was times like this, when another Na’vi man comes up to you for courtship you are bewildered by their boldness.

“I want your hand, I can provide for you, be a good mate.” His name was Ru’la, a free diver your age. He had just gotten his tattoos showing his eagerness to become a man within the clan. His pleading eyes and strong grip on your hand also showed his eagerness to become one with you as well.

“I thought it was known I am with Tsireya.” Ru’la furrowed his brows in confusion, as if you had grown a third eye.

“Tsireya?”

“Mhm.” The grip on your hands was crushing, your fingers being crushed by his strength.

“No…You are to be my mate, I don’t understand. She cannot give you children, give you a family. I can do that. I will do that for you. I love you Y/N.” You grimaced at his words, his tone-deaf confession sending tingles of offense through your heart.

“I am to be nothing to you Ru’la. Now let me go.” Your voice was strong, gaze piercing as he hesitantly let go of you, the shame of being so ignorant to your current affections growing grossly apparent on his face.

You made your way back to your shared marui, the previous events weighing heavy on your chest. Walking into the shared space you saw Tsireya sewing together a broken ilu saddle. “Hey baby.” You gave her a soft kiss on the cheek, only to frown when she did not respond to you. “What is wrong?”

“I saw you with Ru’la, and I heard him…say some stuff.” Your mouth opened letting out a sigh as you trapped her into a tight hug, feeling her arms wrap around your waist.

“Every word that came out of the skxwang’s mouth was a waste of air.” Tsireya nodded, trying to laugh at your joke but his words still plagued her mind.

“Are you not sad about…my lack of…abilities?” Her eyes were teary, a tinge of breathiness to her voice as her lips quivered.

“Oh pearl, why would I focus on the lack between us when you give me everything I need? You are the sunshine to the storm, the heat to the cold. You are perfect for me in every shape and form. Do you believe me?”

“I believe you…I just get a little insecure.” You nodded running your hand through her hair, something you knew that calmed her.

“I love you, you know that?” She smiled nodding, bringing you closer to seal a kiss. Noses tapping slightly as you rested your foreheads together.

“How could I ever forget?”

also, please don’t start with the “they would just look like their actors” … be so fr. yes, they’re played by mostly yts but the characters themselves are poc. kiri is the only na'vi that would be yt but she’s also played by a 73 year old woman so i don’t think..

we all know what jake looks like but in my head, neytiri is a dark skin black woman idc.

I’m back at it with the uncle Lo’ak headcanons you’re never going to escape me

Neteyam’s second child, his only son, absolutely adores Tsireya. Normally Lo’ak is his favourite person, which of course he is, the kids his mini me, and whenever he comes to visit the two are inseparable. Until Lo’ak brings his mate along for the youngest’s first communion with Eywa. Tsireya had been unable to visit as frequently as Lo’ak due to her duties to her own clan, but made sure that she attended such an important event in her nieces and nephews lives.

So the kid is four when he meets her for the first time since his own communion and boy is it love at first sight, which everyone but Lo’ak finds hysterical “Baby brother, that’s exactly how goofy you looked when you first saw her.” And so the competition begins, but we know our boy Lo’ak isn’t going to win this one. The kid doesn’t leave Tsireya’s side for her whole visit and his favourite person, Uncle Lo’ak becomes nothing but his competition.

Lo’ak doesn’t even know who he’s more jealous of, the kid who’s being allowed to push him out of the way for cuddles with his own mate, or his mate who’s stealing away his precious time with his baby. And he pretends not to be bothered by it, even when the kid flips him off from behind Tsireya’s back (oh eywa does he regret teaching him that), but Neteyam swears he catches him returning the gesture, even if he denies it.

Throughout life, whenever this gemstone appears - it means something. Na’vi use it to represent themselves on their own Songchords and their clan’s Songchords. Their gemstone is also worn as an adornment; jewellery, sewn into clothing, and/or worn in their braids. 

𝐌𝐨'𝐚𝐭

・Her stone is Apatite 

・Known as ‘The Stone of Wisdom’

・Aids in the mind’s connection to the spiritual world

・Apatite is also known as the stone of the future and brings knowledge to those who are attuned to it 

・It also helps in psychic abilities; feeling, knowing more than the average Na’vi.

・Her stone was a part of the reason why she knew to make Neytiri teach Jake

・Those attuned to it/are chosen by it has enhanced brain power, originality and critical thinking skills

modern headcanons | beach day

⋆✮↪ ao’nung, tsireya, neteyam, lo’ak, and kiri

ao’nung

definitely goes surfing at the beach. body surfing, bodyboarding, longboarding– you name it. the hobby shouldn’t have been much of a surprise to you, but when you first saw him out in the waves, safe to say your eyes nearly fell out of their sockets. you weren’t a complete stranger to surfing, but ao’nung did it on a level that had you questioning if it was even safe anymore. he always teases you for getting worried about his safety, but if it really starts to get rough out there, he’s willing to stay by the shore with you.

insists on being in charge of the sunscreen. since ao’nung spends most of the day under the sun, he knows how important it is to apply an ample amount of sunscreen. he doesn’t care if you want to stay under the shade or not. he will apply as much sunscreen as possible on your skin. if you ask him about it, he’d probably brush it off as a health precaution. while that’s partly true, the real reason is because he didn’t listen to his mother one time as a kid. he had to learn the hard way.

tsireya

brings the food, the blanket, you name it. it’s her love language. as much as you want to help, there’s no denying the fact that the set-up turns out way more aesthetically pleasing when she’s in charge. plus, her cooking is as wonderful as she is. it doesn’t even feel like a picnic anymore. you once told her that she should start a catering business, but she just smiled and shrugged it off, saying that she’d only go above and beyond for you. you could’ve sworn you melted on the spot.

loves to make bracelets. tsireya loves jewelry. not so much the expensive kind, but simple ones you can make by hand. when you aren’t in the mood for swimming but want to enjoy the salty breeze, tsireya sets up a blanket and brings her bracelet-making kits. when you accidentally discovered her hobby, tsireya called it childish and embarrassing, but you quickly reassured her that it was nothing of that sort. now you make matching bracelets together.

neteyam

knows the best time and date to have a beach day. his intuition is admirable and borderline scary. he knows you don’t like crowded beaches, and honestly, neither does he. neteyam prefers more private and intimate spots, so his only request after you suggested a beach day was to pick when and where to go. agreeing was the best decision you ever made. the weather is always perfect, the water is crystal clear, and no one else is there. really, you don’t know how he does it.

lets you bury him under the sand. probably used to it since he’s the eldest sibling. it started with sandcastles, but when you brought up a fond memory about “sand mermaids” from your childhood, neteyam was eager to recreate it just to hear you laugh. personally, he doesn’t get the joke, but it’s important to you and that’s all that matters to him. he’s just a gentleman through and through. he also doesn’t mind if you take embarrassing pictures of him.

lo’ak

if possible, he cannonballs. for this reason alone, he’s very particular about the beach you guys go to. there’s no nearby cliff over the water? pass. there’s no overhanging tree to climb and jump off of? pass. the water is too shallow? pass. it’s like he’s asking for death at this point, and he’s so stubborn about it. you’ll admit that the stress is worth it, though. he knows how to make things fun.

brings two pairs of goggles. lo’ak makes it a challenge to find the “weirdest” sea creatures possible. he’d definitely try to gross you out with them too. luckily, you know his greatest weakness: sea cucumbers. he physically can’t be within a five feet radius of a sea cucumber. silliness aside, you two spend a lot of time swimming through reefs together. he isn’t the most graceful swimmer, but you can tell that he’s fascinated by marine life. he’ll never admit it though. you find it endearing.

kiri

loves to paint your nails. you’d think that the beach wasn’t an ideal place to paint your nails, but somehow, this girl made it work. you two didn’t even go to the beach for swimming at this point. you’re there for scenery. you weren’t upset by it, though, because every second spent with your favorite girl was worth it, and you can tell she felt the same way. she also has a very artistic hand. kiri knows how to recreate any nail design you show her.

wades through the shallow parts of the water. just because kiri likes to stay in the sand doesn’t mean she hates the water altogether. it’s quite the opposite actually. she’s very fond of dragging her feet through the water with you hand-in-hand, watching tiny fish swim by. occasionally, she’ll pull you close if she recognizes a fish and tells you all about it, and everytime she does, you can’t hold back a smile. she’s really in her element.

You were spending your time looking at some shells and pearls on the ocean. You wanted to make a necklace, a necklace for Tsireya. It’s a special one.

You have a little crush on Tsireya, she’s one of the kindest person who accepted you here when you arrived. The way she smiles, moves, talks, she’s very pretty and thinking about those makes your cheeks warm. Not just that, her features, her aquatic eyes, curly luscious hair, and her blue-green skin. She’s just perfect. Thinking of her makes you look like a statue, your body won’t move, mind is the air, and look like a fool. Often your brother, Lo’ak teases you about it. You are just head over heals over than girl. Her coming to you, waving at you while smiling, calling your name. You didn’t realize that her doing those are reality.

“Hey, (y/n). Your zoning out again.” She giggled. She also known about you staring randomly, but mostly at her. She thought you might be having some type of memory lane that made you froze, but no it’s about her that made you unmovable, but she doesn’t know that, you’re very hard to figure out anyways.

“Oh uh, T-Tsireya! How are you?!” Your stuttering words made her giggle. Your cheeks heated up from embarrassment, you can’t believe that you acted like that…again.

“Oh I’m fine, how about you?” Your eyes caught on her beautiful face looking at you.

“I’m alright. Picking some shells?” You nodded. You showed your basket full of pretty shells, big and small, pink and blue, and some pearls too.

“Oooh! They look gorgeous, what are they for?” Your eyes widened. You didn’t want to tell her, that will spoil it. You want it to keep a secret for now. And if you tell her it wouldn’t be that special. And what if you make her hate you because of it. You couldn’t handle those thoughts. You bid Tsireya goodbye and runaway. You pursed your lips frowning from those thoughts. Tsireya on the other hand, felt guilt asking.

Afternoon hits and you have a lot of time for yourself, mostly to make necklace. You happily weaved the thread with the shells and pearls, humming while at it. Your weaving slowed as you remembered how you just left Tsireya. The weaving fully stopped and the sweet humming turn to silence. You frowned from that memory looking down at you unfinished necklace. Will she accept this? Now that you just did something rude.

You sighed heavily and lay down on the floor looking up your marui. Your sister, Kiri, noticed your slum-self. She sat beside you, observing your work of art and giggled. She knows who it is for, she also noticed your zoning out mostly when Tsireya is mentioned.

“Hey, what’s with that frown?” You look at Kiri’s face, her smile is enough to know that she do know the answer. You sat up again looking at the necklace and turn your face at her.

“You think she won’t accept the gift? I left her this morning without a word—I just got nervous.” Kiri sighed and rubbed your shoulders. Your tensed body warmed up from her gesture and felt a bit relax.

“Oh, don’t worry. She’ll love it, but you do have to apologize about you leaving her.” She said. You just nodded and continued the necklace.

The next day, you came out of your marui in early morning with your unfinished necklace in your small pouch. You wanted somewhere you can relax while making the necklace so you decided to seat next to a tree. The spot is not as bright because of the leaves blocking the sun and the breeze hits you softly. It was relaxing. You fill your lungs with morning’s fresh air. You planned to give the necklace to Tsireya this afternoon, after the heat cool off that is, sun is usually is irritating to you.

After a few minutes, you raised the necklace facing you, examining the necklace if there is any mistakes to redo. Either way, your face show how proud you are of what you created. Imagining Tsireya wearing the necklace made you smile, not just that, your thoughts of her is clouding your brain. Excitement hits you already, you took the necklace with you and walked happily in your marui.

Few hours have passed and it’s afternoon. You look around for Tsireya, hoping to find her not so close to people. You eventually find her sitting on top of a rock feeding her ilu. She giggled as her ilu makes a sound from eating food. You sneaked up behind her and tapped her elbow. She look at her back knowing that it’s you, that usually how you get her attention, by tapping her on the shoulder.

“Oh! Hey, (y/n). Do you need something?” She asked facing you. Your excitement deteriorate and replaced it with nervousness. Why now that you feel nervous? You felt confident earlier, but it just faded.

“Uh ummm…” you look down to your hands holding a small pouch that contains the necklace. Your hands were shaking, sweating bullets as you do. But that nervous feeling stopped once a hand is placed on top of you, Tsireya’s hand.

“Take your time, (y/n).” Her smile calms you, your soul is back to your body. You took a deep breathe and exhale. You hold her hand and put the little pouch on her palms.

“I want to give this to you. I like you.” Her eyes widened then looked at the pouch and opened it. Then reveals the necklace, with shells and pearls, beautifully woven. Her eyes are at awe, shining blue and like the water. She look at you, gave you the necklace and turned around.

“Will you put it on me?”her sweet voice tickles your ears and warms. You nodded lightly, and put it on her, slightly struggling to tie it. Tsireya calming you. And you eventually do.

She took a look at it again, now on her, “I love it, (y/n),” she then look at you, “and I like you too.”

𝜗𝜚 — He was meeting up with Tsireya for their usual sunrise date, being able to start his day with the Tsireya who he couldn’t even manage to think of living without.

𝜗𝜚 — Ever since the day she held his extra finger and told him that she saw him, his feelings for her grew tenfold. He would do anything for her and if that meant waking up early every day and watching the sunrise, he would do it for the rest of his life just as long as she was next to him.

𝜗𝜚 — “Of course, I remember, I always listen when you talk,” he smiles as a darker shade of green shows on her cheeks. “So cute, come on,” he takes her small wrist in his and leads her to the blanket and when she sits down, she straddles his lap, and one of his hands lands on her waist and the other on her thigh.

𝜗𝜚 — These were the moments that made his day when he could enjoy the feeling of her touch on him. His tail wraps around her waist and she smiles as she cups his cheeks.

𝜗𝜚 — The joy of feeling each other was their love language even if their relationship were secret, it didn’t stop them from sneaking little affections to each other, Lo’ak would touch her tail as he walked past her which made her blush, and course, she would touch his and a smirk would appear on his face.

𝜗𝜚 — He would find any excuse to touch her, whether it was just a pat on her head or touching her hair, or just even holding her wrist, he just loved being able to feel her against him.

𝜗𝜚 — She leaned down and once again their lips connected forming their own little dance, they totally forgot to watch the sunrise and they didn’t mind one bit, they got the rest of their lives together to watch it.

𝜗𝜚 — They laid down on the blanket, her leg on his, his arm on her waist as her hand was on his cheek rubbing it softly and they looked into each other’s eyes smiling.

𝜗𝜚 — They were so into each other that they didn’t know time had passed and they now had an audience.

𝜗𝜚 — Their families watching them from afar smiling except for Ao’nung who just rolls his eyes.

𝜗𝜚 — Neytiri put her head on Jake’s shoulder as he wrapped an arm around her, “Ma Jake, they remind me so much of us,” she smiles putting her hand to her mouth. All Jake could do was nod and smile. He was happy that his son was happy.

𝜗𝜚 — Ronal steps closer to Tonowari and puts her hand on his back while her other arm holds their baby.

“Look how happy our little girl is,” she smiles as she looks up at him as he looks down at her returning her smile. He kissed her forehead and once again looked at the young couple, sure he thought Lo’ak was a bit of a troublemaker but he had no doubt that he would keep his little safe with the look he was giving her, it was the same look he has when he looks at Ronal and it made him smile.

𝜗𝜚 — Neteyam was happy for his little brother, finally not causing trouble for once. 

𝜗𝜚 — Kiri thought they looked cute and matched each other very well. 

𝜗𝜚 — Of course, Tuk loved them, she loved Tsireya and loved seeing her older brother happy. 

𝜗𝜚 — Spider pretended to gag at the sight of them being “too lovey-dovey” but inside he was happy for Lo’ak.

AVATAR : WAY OF WATER with a Human ! S/O who has psoriasis

Note(s) : Psoriasis is a non contagious skin condition caused by stress, hormonal changes and immune disorders. It can also be caused by genetics as it runs in family. You get flaky patches on the skin that are painful and dry.

Neteyam

He's worried for your health, it was bad enough you were human but now he refuses to take you anywhere remotely dangerous. He worries if they look too red or flaky, bringing you to Mo'at with no questions or confirmation on if its actually sore or not. Sometimes it can get annoying, and to be honest it's not the best way to react, but Neteyam's doing it because he knows how stubborn people can be and doesn't want you dimishing your pain, regardless on if you've ever done it or not.

Has a schedule for you and your ointments, he won't let you skip one or two even if they're looking really good one day, Netyam is very strict when it comes to your health. If they get bad again because you've been a bit careless while he's been away you're in for a lecture.

If the areas where it's bad ever split he's literally doing everything for you no exceptions, and while he doesn't want to come off as overbearing, Neteyam knows how incredibly dangerous infections are, he can't risk further injuries coming from the scabs.

Whenever it's all flaky and crusty he admits he cringes a bit, but still doesn't mind bringing you to a lake or getting something to wipe the excess off. He's very gentle and slow, trying his best to prevent making it worse.

When you get to the Metkayina any bullying or harrasment is met with aggression, he won't go out of his way to fight, and even tries to deescalate the situation if it goes too far, but he will defend you.

He has a bit more trouble bringing you to Ronal, and ends up very stiff and awkward during the interactions of your health, less so if you talk to her directly. Because of this, Neteyam usually gets Kiri to help him gather herbs he can use to help you, and because some Na'vi are judgemental of humans and it'd be easier to avoid stares or confrontation going to Ronal.

If you itch, bite, pick, whichever, he tries to help by placing something with a layer of cream or some kind of ointment over the parts that you tend to aggravate, it's his way of being not only affectionate, but helpful in preventing an infection. Neteyam isn't judgemental as I imagine most of his younger siblings done it from time to time, he probably done it as well at some point.

Given that when it splits water and just touching in general is incredibly painful, he tends to convince you with how bad it could get in the future, reminding you what could happen if you don't try to prevent it. When rubbing them onto your skin he reminds you that you can ask him to stop at any time if he notices you flinching or closing your eyes in pain.

Lo'ak

He's mainly concerned, not overbearing, it's mainly small anxieties and asking questions that can be a little too invasive. They can get annoying sometimes even if he means well.

Wonders if because his family share DNA with humans that he could catch it, until you shut him down with the 'It isn't contagious.' which then gets him embarrassed on the fact he assumed in the first place. Ask him about it a while after, his face and even up to his ears and shoulders will go purple with a blush.

If you get made fun of, either by Na'vi or other humans, he'll defend you, as sad as the attempt is to watch, and relate to your experiences as he feels he can never truly fit with either. Even if the experiences you two have are wildly different in the simplest of terms.

Picking it usually ends in him being a little disgusted at the puss and blood that comes from it, but he wipes it away and washes the bacteria nonetheless, offering you comfort for the painful splitting. He can come off like he's disgusted at you, which he genuinely isn't, it's moreso the fact its gotten so bad and you could have an infection that ends in excruciating pain. He doesn't want you to go through that.

Lo'ak tries preventing picking and biting by telling you stories of how he nearly had to remove an arm one time because he scratched at an injury, this usually leads to you feeling anxiety or annoyed, maybe you're comforted by this and try to stop, either way he's trying to warn you of the dangers it can cause.

He takes a longer time than the rest to bring you to healers, unless you don't need convincing and go yourself, this isn't for a lack of caring, he just feels like making you go too often could make you feel babied.

Tends to ignore advice by healers, nothing major, but he brings you on exploration and hunts even after Mo'at or Ronal directly tell him not to.

He brings you to Mo'at very awkwardly, she tends to assume it's him in need of help for doing something dangerous, but whenever it's you she's sighing and asking why you didn't come sooner. Scolding him as he looks down and huffs.

Lo'ak makes sure to tell you he sees you for you, and he doesn't care that you have Psoriasis, it's apart of you, both figuratively and literally. He couldn't imagine you without it and doesn't make you feel bad for having it.

Kiri

Kiri feels really bad for you if you get bullied for it, she tries to relate to you given she gets made fun of for her being a 'freak', although her attempts come off slightly pushy, it comes from a place of love and wanting to understand you.

Her strong connection with Eywa allows her to help you, she's able to find the materials needed in order to soothe your pain without fully understanding where everything is.

She's been training to be a healer for as long as she could think, and is more capable than most in this list beside Tsireya, so she knows what to do on the physical spectrum of helping you. Emotionally, she's also really good! When you're feeling really down Kiri asks you questions, and if you prefer to listen, she's also amazing at speaking about things she's interested in.

When you pick and bite she tries telling you it won't help at all, explaining the dangers in detail, this can either distract you from it or convince you to try and be more aware of your actions, although you obviously won't always be able to stop if you don't realise. But if you react negatively for whatever reason she tries to be near you more often, gently removing your hands from the parts that you're going to pick or bite almost on instinct.

She will bring you to Mo'at or Ronal when she doesn't know how to help, listening intently so she doesn't have to. It's not that she hates the outside or anything, but in the Metkayinas she prefers to stay away from others from fear of bullying, both for you and her.

Ao'nung

Ao'nung made fun of you because of your 'strange skin', along with the Sully's for being 'demons'. After the whole Lo'ak incident he stops being extreme about his remarks but will still tease and mention it sometimes. However, if you genuinely have a problem with it and ask one of the Sully's, given the only way you'd be allowed with the Metkyina's is with the Sully's, to have him stop then he probably will.

I imagine he'd probably believe humans just looked like that, I don't think he's ever actually been 1 on 1 with a human before or up close. That's probably until he meets Spider, and you have to explain what Psoriasis is.

If it gets really painful he has no idea what to do, he then proceeds to be the embodiment of crying for his mother when he has an issue. He sounds fairly unbothered and even annoyed at you, but Ronal knows how he is, and she is side eyeing you both.

Will stand there and constantly ask questions while Ronal checks you over, she kicks him out after a while and remarks how childish he's being.

Given they usually only get painful if dry, though sometimes they're just annoying, Ronal suggested swimming more often, and so you joined in on the lessons the Sully's got. The lessons would most likely be longer with you because you tend to slow them down, at least you don't need to worry about breathing with the oxygen mask.

He'll try bringing you hunting every once and a while, mainly to help exercise you and help you be more useful so you can be more healthy. If you struggle and can't exercise more often, Ao'nung doesn't know what to do that could assist you beside help with ointments.

If you pick and scratch he gets kinda angry, it doesn't mean he'll yell or harm you, he just doesn't want you to be in pain. Ao'nung will hold your hands or cover the parts you can reach when he's around, but when he's gone it's easy to fall back into that habit. After a while of scolding you and telling you to stop doesn't work, he begs Tsireya for help.

Tsireya

She constantly asks her mother for help whenever it gets too painful or dry, Ronal tells her she can't help besides ointments on the skin regularly and Tsireya is dissapointed every time, wanting to help ease your pain.

Even though Ronal disapproves of you, being fearful of a betrayal given human nature, she will still be willing to help for her daughters sake and to remain in good spirits with the Sully family.

Tsireya tries ways to improve your mental health once you explain that things like stress can cause it, she takes you swimming in shallow water to try relax you and clean out any dirt that could be in the patches. She's gentle when guiding you and never presses hard against areas where it appears for you, sometimes she forgets how tall she is though and leads you too deep.

She's never judged or been rude to you, and when her brother or other people are she isn't kind with them. Heck, when she had first met you she had simply believed all humans had it.

Tsireya was really accepting when you told her what it was, she even held your hand and gently brushed a hand over some sore parts to prove she wasn't disgusted. Sometimes kissing them when it wasn't all crusty and all split.

Whenever or if ever you feel insecure, Tsireya to the rescue! She will separate the lessons with the Sully's and with you if you feel ashamed, only when you feel better about yourself will she bring you back. Building confidence is key and forcing you to the deep end, literally, will only shatter your self image.

Constantly reminds you to put the ointments over your skin and frets over you, loving to show you how much she adores you and doesn't mind your skin condition at all. Applying them herself if you forget.

She is still Ronal's daughter, and will be strict when it comes to medical issues, especially when they split given how painful it is and how it can become infected easier.

Again on the splitting or if you pick, she's hesitant to bring you back into the water, it hurts when wounds go into water and she's nervous you'll be in more pain. However, she does understand it can clean wounds and it's either this or wait until its healed to swim. Which she's fine if you prefer the second one.

If you pick and scratch she's probably the best one to have, she asks Ronal to bring her bandages so she can wrap them up after washing the dirt out and put ointments on, she helps change them and makes sure the bandages are thick so you can't scratch through them. Tsireya won't repremand you too much or get angry, she understands it can't be helped sometimes and besides some light scolds she treats you gently.
