Fire

I remember I got inspired to paint this artwork when I listened to UVERworld's Touch off -song. Especially when at the very beginning of the song the person simply says 'fire'. It made me think of fire's sparks and the middle of the blazing fire Madara, causing chaos and destruction. This thought breathed life to this painting.

First of all, I love your art and how you draw dogs! Anyway, do you think Riruka would be Cocker Spaniel if she was a dog? Her hair just kind of gives me such a vibe if she would be...

I hadn’t given Riruka much thought, but, cocker spaniel ears are cute! I prefer Briard or Papillon ears, personally.

No one is any one specific breed or mix thereof, I’m just designing based on what I think looks good.

Okay so long story short motivation hit me in the head so I made fucking onigiri for no reason. I litterly never did that before and I don't know anything about onigiri except how it looks. I don't remember the last time I cooked anything more complex then pasta. I'm so hyped over this so here, have a pic and a recipe.

Ingredients :

SHORT/SMALL white rice,

litterly any filling you want,

whatever this green lil sheets are (probably dried sea weed),

Sesame seeds, soy sauce - optional

Wash rice 3 times, then cook (about 1/3 water regarding the rice) for about 10 min. Let it sit like a few min under the lid so the water evaporates until cooled down.

Warning! The rice should be extremely sticky so unless you're gonna use special gloves u should get a bowl, fill it with water and add a little bit of oil. Mix it slightly. Before starting, slightly wet the inside of ur palm and fingers in this so the rice won't stick too much. DO NOT WET UR WHOLE HAND. DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKES. Chances are you will want to wash ur hands a few times mid process and doing so is easy-er if you don't have ur whole hand in oil.

Scoop some rice and make a small ball about 2-4cm height. Mix in soy sauce and/or sesame seeds about 1/3 of tea spoon - optional. Then spread it on your palm and a little fingers (oil palm in the mixture so it won't stick), thin enough but you shouldn't be able to see through it. Put a lil pile of ur filling in the middle -I used ground meat with mayo and wasabi- and fold the rice as you would fold the dough. Make a ball out of it and if you can see you filling in some places that are too thin just cover it with extra rice. Then carefully shape into triangle until u like the looks and put on the green stuff. All done.

Ok, this sounds fun! Thanks for the ask @tuliharja!! ^^

Let's see... 1. Art is a very private part of my life. No one irl (outside of my parents, that is) knows that I like to draw. And not even them see the majority of my drawings. 2. Botany is my guilty pleasure, which is funny, because I absolutely hated the subject in uni (it didn't help that I had an atrocious teacher). But once I passed the subject, I started studying it on my own and I found it very enjoyable!! 3. I LOVE languages, and I start learning one every year. Two years ago, it was Russian; last year, German and this year it's Japanese (I think I'll give Korean a try next year). As the saying goes "it's about the journey, not the destination"; so even thought I'm not proficient in any of them, I still have a lot of fun learning xD
