In rise who do you head canon as the older twin 👀

I flip-flop between the two, but usually Leo. I know people hc Donnie as the older, but I just can't really see it, lol.

Which is why I switch it up in my aus, having Don or Leo be older or younger, or just have them flip it themselves depending on if they need it at the time (like Don comforting Leo or Leo hyping up Don)

What can I say, I like fence sitting, just with my legs on the other side.

Donnie and Leo as they appear in Birdie's universe!

Donnie's key features are his new natural eyebrows, the scars across his shell and those lil' spines on the upper edge of his shell that grew in as an adult and made it so his old battle shells stopped fitting. (No worries, he made new ones!) Donnie's leaner than his brothers and tends to skip out on the extra physical training Leo and Raph do.

Leo rocks a cracked shell, x-shaped stripes and a bad right knee. He's also beefier than Donnie, a result of excess training post-movie times. Leo's tail also only reaches to his knees, unlike Donnie's longer calf-length tail. He has a fainter burn scar on his neck from his time in the EPF's holding wing alongside Birdie.

Really exciting announcement!! I recently wrote a short fic for the @turtlestogetherzine called The Igloo!!!

Insane theory, but hear me out: Mutant Mayhem! Shredder being insanely strong during the sequel, perhaps even a bit overpowered, none of the turtles know how to beat him and least of all have no idea how this human is so much more powerful than them! It made sense with Superfly, but that's because he was a mutant.

So how was he so much stronger than them? Plot twist in the middle of the film! It gets revealed that Shredder is a mutant like them! It explains everything. The inhuman strength. it probably should've been obvious from the start. Maybe a different kind of mutant (it's been stated that none of the mutants were humans from the start, but what if Shredder was the only one that was part human part mutant? Concept from my friend @nosleep83)

I don't know. I got the idea when I remembered how Cynthia wanted to create stronger, warrior mutants from the turtles' blood, and thought HOLY SHIT. I just think this would make Shredder a really interesting character. Otherwise The Shredder, a whole ass guy with a clan to manage for, got called up by Cynthia to beat up some kids and said k lol i'll be there soon.

They call me The Shredder because I was experimented on and made into a murder weapon to shred children. Or whatever. Watch me be wrong about everything.

Being Casey Jr and being in a place where it's full of the people you know and love, safe and happy, but then again these are not the people you know and love.

These are strangers. They don't know you. They don't know the fact that they raised, clothed, and fed you since you were a child. These are your loved ones, and at the same time, they aren't.

His mother can't be his mother because she isn't, she's too young for this, and he's too old. She can't give him motherly touches and holds. She can't read him a bedtime story or teach him how to ride a bike or do anything a mother would teach her kid.

His father figure and mentor can't be either of those things, because again, he's far too young, far too inexperienced. He can't love him like a father would. He can't teach him things he already knows. All he can do is stare as Casey Jr tells him how great his mentor was. How wonderful his teaches were. How much he misses him. How much he just wants his father back.

He knows these people, but at the same time, he doesn't. And it hurts. I'm normal about this im so normal. I'm so normal im ripping my heart out and stomping on it.

It's extremely important to me that Casey Jones is a meat head with a heart of gold because if he isn't, if he falls for the hypermasculine bullshit of the world, extremely impressionable ninja turtle Raphael will imprint on that like a baby duck and become Bad. So it's important to me that Casey, especially when he's an adult to Raph's teenager, is an Enlightened Idiot. He might not know the meaning of life or long division but he DOES know you treat all people equally and stand up for the little guy and protect the minorities and respect pronouns. Do you understand. Is this thing on.
