I don’t understand all this fuss. I was sleeping in June’s bed this morning, when she woke up, kissed me, and said “Happy Gotcha Day!” What is a gotcha? Why is June so happy? She told me that three years ago today she brought me home from the shelter. But I do appreciate all the hugs and snuggles. Right now I am in bed with Mom (Marilyn). Don’t I look comfy? Everybody needs a furbaby, June tells me. I think everybody needs a nice human. I have three. No, I won’t share.

Hi I’m Baby Sapphire. I’m 2 years old and I like playing to wrappers, wire toys, and attacking the blanket monster. I also like wet food and talking to mom when she’s cooking and trying to get under her feet. Mom calls me her sweet little baby.
