Did Ryder ever give you creepy vibes? Like before we knew about blake (🤮), I always got such creepy vibes from Ryder. And then the catfish episode where he kicked the chair, I was like “nope. Nope. Don’t wanna see him again. Nope”.

I’m just curious if people could tell he was no good before Melissa spoke up

I can't really give an accurate answer because I went into season 4 with an anti-Blake bias. I started watching the show almost a year after Melissa's statement and I did and always will believe her. Plus I then watched the Glee Project season 2 and began hating him even more. So I can't answer in that sense because I hadn't seen Ryder before watching Melissa's video. I don't know if I would have suspected anything.

I will say that he had this angry expression at times that made me suuuper uncomfortable, knowing what we know now. It was that quiet kind of fury until it wasn't, like his 4x22 rampage. Watching as I did, having the information I had, it was really uncomfortable watching some of Blake's scenes and especially the ones with Melissa. I'm still (allegedly) rewatching season 4 and the vibes are anything but immaculate.

I try not to hate on Ryder the character too much but... he is Blake in a way most characters aren't their actors. And he isn't interesting enough for me to make that effort of separation.

being   here   with   him   at   the   halloween   bash   also   held   that   same   feeling   of   normality,   like   they   were   meant   to   dress   in   cheesy   couple   costumes   despite   not   being   a   couple.   the   princess   didn’t   care   what   others   thought.   speculation   was   warranted   given   the   situation   she   was   in   prior.   yet,   reagan   didn’t   care   what   anyone   had   to   say.   she   was   happy   in   this   little   bubble   she   had   found   herself   in   with   eugene.   it   was   the   happiest   she   had   been   in   a   long   time   with   someone.   since,   well,   the   fair   with   beckham   when   the   two   were   on   the   ferris   wheel   before   everything   got   turned   upside   down.   

finding   him   in   the   middle   of   the   party,   the   princess   rushed   to   him.   long   locks   flowing   behind   her   as   she   practically   jumped   into   his   arms,   her   own   wrapped   around   his   neck   as   she   giggled   in   absolute   delight.      “   eugene   dance   with   me   !   ”

Do you think it’s too.. I dunno insensitive?… if I want to write a fic about Ryder abusing Marley like Blake did to Melissa? I’ve been on the fence about this for a long while now

Oof well. I can't tell you not to write something. But in my opinion/for me personally, that would be blurring the lines too much between the actors and characters.

this…. was a really hard question to answer. i honestly love all of them except for lea, mark, heather, and blake

i guess i could say that my favs are the ones that i keep up with the most??? which would be kevin, jenna, vanessa, dianna, amber, jacob, melissa, and chris (that’s like half the cast oh god). and of course i love cory and naya with my whole heart 💖

the other people who i didn’t list are chill, i just don’t really care about their post glee stuff so i feel like would be weird for me to list them haha

im listening to melissa benoist being a guest in sophia bush’s podcast and so many things here broke my heart. for me the biggest thing that made me sad and so freaking angry is the fact the she couldn’t be excited or even be proud that she had been cast as supergirl in the beginning because of blake. like you scum. THE NERVE OF HIM MAKING HER FEEL THAT WAY BUT ALSO FORCING HIMSELF INTO THE SHOW AS HER LOVE INTEREST. LIKE EAT SHHHIIIIIT. I WILL NEVER STOP COMING FOR YOU. YOU PIECE OF HUMAN GARBAGE. CHOKE.

Idk if this is a glee sin, but I actually liked Ryder/Marley for a while and was low-key disappointed when I found out what happened between the actors because it completely ruined the ship for me (not disappointed at her or anything, just myself for shipping them lol) and I just want Marley to find happiness.

That feels more like a confession. What qualifies as a glee sin?

Uh.. I make jokes about the ship Hummel² (which is Burt/Kurt) and I once fell down the rabbit hole of that tag on ao3. THAT definitely feels like a confession, I'm not good at this

And I shipped Kinn (Kurt/Finn) for a whole day before I found Kurtbastian and decided to become obsessed with that ship instead. My blog would be waaaaaay different if I hadn't.
