Monitoring personal secretary messages for infidelity is a delicate and sensitive matter that requires careful consideration and ethical handling. [Shuuen no Virche] Fanbook Doodles Translation
Tumblr media
Requested by @blupengu for a translation of some of the Lucas-centric doodles found in the back of the official fanbook! Might not be 100% accurate due to having to decipher handwriting 🙏

Lucas and Scien - page 128
Tumblr media
Notes: Scien's whole schtick is reference to a famous line from the old drama, "太陽にほえろ!" (Taiyou ni Hoero!). Yusaku Matsuda (the actor) yells "なんじゃこりゃあ!!" (nanjakoryaa: ~what the hell is this) after getting shot in the stomach. You can watch the scene here on Youtube to fully understand the reference!
Lucas, Scien and Adolphe - page 133
Tumblr media
Notes: the little comments on the side are Yves, Hugo, Mathis and Jean waiting for their turn to have their injuries treated. ROUGHLY:
Yves: Mathis is next!
Mathis: Oh no, me and Jean are fine! You should get bandaged first!!
Yves: Huh?
Hugo: Hey, your wounds are opening!!!
Yves: Oh, they are!!
Scien: Calm down, Claude 1 & 2 and Courrune 1 & 2
Yves: Come on Scien, you should start calling us by our names now~
Lucas, Mathis and Scien - pages 134-135

Notes: the little comments on the side are Yves and Adolphe arguing. This was extremely hard to make out, but I think, ROUGHLY:
Yves: Geez, no matter how much you don't want to eat my food, you shouldn't drop your plate.
Adolphe: ...Did you see?
Yves: Yeah, I saw you drop your plate!!
Adolphe: You didn't see it then...!
Yves: See what!?

i hate so much the idea of studios monitoring fan reactions on social media and altering storylines based on what is more popular like 💀💀💀 fandom is not for you to profit off but most importantly what people want NORMALLY SUCKS

Apparently I really do have some unhealthy parasocial relationship with Seventeen because since I saw the news of Scoups being exempted from military service due to his injury, I have been so worried for him and the reaction of the public.
Like I literally want to call svt and ask if he is okay, don't let him be on social media too much, everything will be alright, he is so so loved, most people understand, please make sure he takes care of his injury, give him a hug, be strong all of you.

i'm like 3/4ths convinced the new tweet view limit is a cover-up for elon deleting something integral to the site's functioning Again and being too embarrassed to admit it so he's acting like it's on purpose

it's really funny to me how you can ask people for advice on a conflict, and they'll enthusiastically state that "you don't owe anyone an explanation" and "no is a complete sentence" - and then when they're in that position - refuse to take no for an answer and feel they're entitled to an explanation. Some major self reflection needs to be done, but I'm tired of waiting for it to happen.

I need Americans that were never Christian™️ to realize that the average conservative cult christian's thoughts are basically that one episode of Spongebob where he gets elected Hall Monitor and gives a speech with "Crime and Punishment. Punishment and Crime"
#christians see themselves as the hall monitors of the earth essentially#and everyone needs to be punished and have their good noodle stars taken else they'll commit arson#they genuinely believe that as soon as you stop policing people they'll delve into their deepest darkest fantasies and start committing sins#that even Jesus Christ himself didn't think of#they come from the idea that they are the only group capable of keeping things steady until Sky Papa can make his way down and fuck shit up#So when you do something bad it's because you fell into the pull of destruction#But when they do it's the equivalent of stepping on your dog's foot because they almost tripped you#I still think it's funny a bunch of christians are creationist tho lmao skill issue#My grandparents are but my dad isn't#he believes evolution essentially occurred over the same time the earth was being created#and the story of adam being made from dust was a metaphor and literal#he was made from dust made from decomposing animals and plants which he used to create us as a more perfect being#so now we continue to evolve because we're connected to the dust and can continue to try to improve#so my dad believes in evolution and went to college for biology and chemistry at the biggest HBCU in the US#That evolution/creationist tangent was completely unrelated but all twitter is for me rn is ppl freaking out about our rights being taken#I avoid twitter most of the time but like to look at my friends' and fav artists' tweets#and recently I think little joel made a video about the evolution video that was trending so yea#n e ways have a nice day y'all <3#I've been wanting to make more hehe hahas but everything in my brain rn is Undergraduate Thesis level shit#so I haven't really been reading or writing things I can talk about on Tumblr.Com ya know?#most of it is sociological textbooks memoirs and similar stuff that Id feel talking about on my casual blog#maybe Ill make a blog. like Blog blog for my essays one day#ex christian#religious trauma

I'm a very emotional consumer of media, so I can get SUPER (almost irrationally) defensive over media that I love and am attached to. It's why I tend to stay away from discourse and Fandom and only recently got Tumblr.
I normally just spectate discourse now and try to only respond when I; A) know I can back up what I'm saying, B) have thought through my opinions and feelings on what the poster is saying to make sure I'm not just being defesnive and butthurt, C) have really decided that I'm okay dying on this hill and, lastly, D) prepare myself to not take it personally if the poster doesn't magically change their mind because of my response
I've had being involved in Fandom ruin my experience of a show that I loved because I took it all too personally.
It sucks to think that I shouldn't be a part of a community of people who also love the same media as me, but it's also okay to know when you need to take a step back. Fandom isn't a necessary (or always a good part) of media. Honestly, it 9/10 times becomes a vacuum of people shouting at each other and takes on the media devolving more and more until they become absolutely generalized and rid of nuance.
