[🐰] soobin  soobin lets out a whine when he feels a smack to the face. as he opens his eyes, he flinches when he notices you're already looking at him with a frown on your face. the worry overtakes him too quickly as he sits up, hands to your shoulders, "hey... you okay?"

"how can you ask that when you did what you did?" you mutter under your breath, looking away from him with a huff. he gapes, blinking a couple of times to recuperate. 

"i-i just–what did i–"

"you cheated on me. in my dream. you suck."

initially, soobin's stumped. listening to your words, he was ready to apologise until he realises that–"wait, in your dream? i cheated? on you?" he chuckles when the words sink in, and he watches how you cross your arms in front of your chest. "you can't be serious, right? why would i ever cheat on you?"

when you press your lips to a thin line and refuse to look at him, he takes it as his cue to–"ah..." he hums softly, relenting as he wraps his arms around you. it was easy enough to curl you in given that he makes use of his figure; effectively nudging you towards him and engulfing you in his embrace. "i apologise on behalf of dream soobin, but real life soobin won't ever do that," he gives you a gentle shake, "hm?"

"hm," you nod, putting your arms around him to snuggle closer towards him. sure, you might've hit soobin in the face with the pillow but the way he's able to hug you like this might've been all the more worth it as he smiles into the side of your face like a hopeless romantic.

[🦊] yeonjun yeonjun nearly falls off the bed as he comes to wake from the hit to the face. he can't quite believe he's woken up just from a hit but when he snaps his eyes open and turns to the side, he's a mumbling fish.

"what?! who? what's going on?" he frantically looks around, and then he spots you sitting up with a pillow in your hands, nearly looking like you're about to squish it to death. "yah..." he murmurs, a hand reaching out to you but his brows furrow when you dodge his touch, "what's wrong?"

"you cheated on me."

his eyes visibly widen as he swallows.

"me? when?"

"in my dream. last night. i don't like you."

he didn't intend to but you make it very, very hard not to smile. the corner of his lips already tug upwards at the thought of you being frustrated at the fact you thought he would cheat on you, or even comprehend that.

"look at me, please?" he tries to reach out to you and this time he manages to put a hand on the pillow you're holding. he tugs at it and you let go of the pillow so he can put it back next to him as he puts his hands in yours to give a squeeze. "c'mon now, the quicker you look at me, the faster we can go back to sleep."

you reluctantly look at him and that's when you see it. the way his eyes look at you with love, overflowing with warmth. the way he's so infatuated with you that he couldn't ever, possibly do it.

"how could i ever cheat on you when i get to look at you look at me like this? do i need to run up to the rooftop to profess my love to you to the entire world? because i would, let me just grab my slippers and–"

you make a noise that crosses between a whine and grumble, squeezing his hands. that alone was enough for yeonjun to be able to get you to lie down next to him as he cuddles you in bed until you fall asleep with a smile on both of your faces.

[🐯] beomgyu  beomgyu merely groans at the soft plush feeling he feels on his face. he doesn't bother opening his eyes, only reaching out blindly until he hooks his arm around what feels like your waist and he pulls. he whines a little when you don't oblige it makes him peel one eye open to see you frowning at him. instinctively, he shrugs it off and shifts closer towards you instead, nuzzling against the side of your arm, "what time is it? it still looks dark to be awake..."

when he doesn't hear a response, he huffs and opens his eyes, now noticing the way you're still frowning.

"nawh... what's wrong? can't sleep?"

"i was peacefully sleeping until you decided to cheat on me in my dream."

his first instinct is to laugh, then drag poor, innocent yeonjun into this.

"the day i ever cheat on you is the day that yeonjun-hyung turns into a bird,"

"...okay, not funny. but look at me," he sits up on his elbows, turning to look at you properly even though he has crust in his eyes and he looks like he needs to sleep for another year and a half. "i'm so hopelessly in love with you that i still feel like i don't see you enough,"

"i'm with you every night," you counter, with a scoff of laugh that he holds onto with a grin, "exactly," he nods. "so how can i possibly cheat on you?"

when you don't respond, he knows he's won when he's able to lay back down and lure you into his arms.

"better?" he hums, burying his face in your neck as you cuddle against his chest, as he moulds into your back with a sigh. "better."

[🐿] taehyun  taehyun's half-sleepy, half-confused when he wakes up from the fluff of a pillow that greets him awake. it takes him a while to process that okay, i'm awake and to notice that oh, you're the one who woke me up when he notices the pillow in your hands, a frown etched to your lips, brows furrowed. he sighs and sits up, tilting his head at you, "can't sleep?"

you keep silent, fidgeting with the pillow that taehyun shakes his head.

"c'mon, pretty thing. i can't help unless you tell me what's wrong," he shifts a little closer, placing a hand on top of yours, lifting his brows just a little on instinct, "hm?"

he sees how your features change in the dark and he shouldn't laugh but he does when you're all pouty and sulky.

"you're a cheater, kang taehyun."

"me?" he snorts, giving your hands a squeeze, "since when?"

"since last night, in my dream."

you watch as your words seep into his brain, and it shows on his face when his lips turn from an 'o' to a small smile.

"that's not fair, now is it? i can't control dream taehyun, but at least i can control real-life taehyun," he moves to wedge his hand between yours and grips onto one of it, his thumb brushing the back of your hand, "and real-life taehyun would never do that to you."

"promise?" you know you sound childish, maybe even a little irrational but it's the way taehyun nods with such firmness and genuity, even locking pinkies with you that makes you feel at ease, "promise."

[🐧] kai kai is the definition of clueless and flustered upon being smacked to wake with a pillow to the face. though, he's surprisingly not as panicky as imagined when he sits up with a sharp intake of breath, eyes rapidly blinking as he adjusts to the darkness of the room and calls for your name softly.

"are you okay?" he mutters, rubbing his eyes as he sits up, half-lidded.

"no, because you," with another pillow hit to the chest, he oofs back onto the bed despite trying to sit up, "cheated on me."

he remains laying down on the bed, moving his hand from his eyes with a chuckle.

"what's so funny?" you huff, nudging him with your weapon (pillow).

"me cheating on you is like saying soobin-hyung willingly signed a gym membership."

the morning is quiet when taehyun slowly stirs awake. the sun has just barely begun to rise - golden rays threatening to break through thick clouds hanging in the sky. birds chirping quietly outside of your window serve as a pseudo alarm clock that somehow never seems to wake you. 

taehyun smiles when he registers your arm gently resting over his stomach, your hand rests gently wrapped around his waist. he can feel the weight of your head pressed against his chest, resting just on top of his heartbeat.

your legs are still intertwined beneath your blankets; your bodies molded together in almost the exact same position that you were in when you both fell asleep. despite your bedhead and the quiet snores that occasionally escape from your lips, you still look beautiful.

relaxing against the sheets once again, taehyun lets his eyes flutter closed for just a second longer. he waits until the sunlight begins to sneak into your bedroom, illuminating the room in a beautiful golden glow. he sighs, rolling onto his side to grab his phone. the device feels heavier than normal in his still overly tired state. the light is almost blinding as he switches it on, squinting at small numbers now shining brightly back at him. 06:07. 

taehyun quietly groans, letting his phone dramatically fall back onto your bedside table. in the silence, his mind begins to drift. dance practice is scheduled to begin at 07:00. soobin - ever the responsible leader - is likely already awake and preparing breakfast for the others. yeonjun will be the next to stumble out of bed before collapsing onto one of the couches, sleepily scrolling through his phone or slowly trying to prepare for the day ahead. kai will follow some time later, either clumsily helping soobin with breakfast or joining yeonjun in sleeping on the couch. beomgyu will be the last to leave his bedroom, quickly scarfing down some food before herding the others into the car.

glancing down at you once again, taehyun raises a hand to cup your face. his touch is feather light as he trails his fingers against your skin before brushing a stray strand of hair away from your eyes. he carefully shifts, doing his best to move out from underneath the covers without waking you  - but his plans are quickly thwarted. 

“tae,” you sleepily whine, nuzzling yourself even closer to his body. your hands grip the fabric of his shirt between his fingers as if he’ll slip out of your grasp the moment you let go. the feeling of your breath ghosting against his exposed skin sends shivers down taehyun’s spine. “don’t leave yet. five more minutes.”

he knows it’s wrong. he knows that your shared apartment is thirty minutes away from the hybe building and that it’ll take at least 20 minutes to get ready. he knows that the longer he spends curled up in your arms, the less he’ll want to leave - even at the risk of being scolded by his manager for being late. he knows that your “five minutes” really mean waiting until your alarm begins blaring from your phone or your body naturally decides it’s gotten enough rest. 

but, laying in your shared bed, with your head resting against his chest, watching the steady rise and fall of your chest, taehyun can’t bring himself to care. 

“okay,” he nods. he leans down to press a kiss against your forehead, softly smiling down at you. “five more minutes.”

he strikes me as someone who would have an inner conflict in such a situation. as in, he would want to leave so bad so you could calm down but then again he feels like he would hurt you even more if he left you.

you and yeonjun were always the perfect couple. both of you enjoyed dancing for life so it was only natural that you two would often meet in the practice room to practice random dances or to try and make a choreography together. usually, everything went fine. you'd have fun, laugh, go out to eat and then go home and sleep. but this time was different. you knew he would never lay a hand on you, he loved you, you knew. but when you tried to copy his new step for the choreography and he tried to correct the way you were holding up your arms you just got scared and flinched away. holding your arms over your head you backed away. slowly, you lowered your arms and were met with your utterly shocked boyfriend yeonjun. you could see his watery eyes. he quickly went to the door, hand already on the doorknob to leave. yet, he turned around and carefully asked if he could hug you. after that cuddle session he would definitely want to talk about it, wanting to know if there's a way he can help you or what he did wrong. he wants you to feel completely safe whenever you're with him.

"baby.. i would never touch you like that, what made you think i could hurt you?"

i can imagine him starting to cry while he apologizes a million times. he never wants you to feel that way so it would be a mystery why you flinched. you and soobin were currently at his favorite chinese restaurant to celebrate his recent comeback. both of you ordered your food, well, he ordered because you didn't know much about it so he just went with his favorites. the food came and binnie looked so happy and immediately dug into it, enjoying the taste of his favourites. you however couldn't quite enjoy the food. it wasn't bad but it didn't really fit your taste so you slowed down on eating. soobin of course noticed and asked you what was wrong. you told him while looking down at your lap, slightly ashamed that you couldn't get yourself to like his favorite food. he raised his arm rather quickly to order something else for you but accidentally caused you to flinch in your chair and shut your eyes. a bit confused he took his arm down and softly grabbed your hand. he asked you what was wrong and you told him. since you were in a public place he would hold back from letting tears slip but he would definitely be more touchy through the rest of the day. and of course, he still ordered more food in hopes that you'd like them more than the current dishes.

"y/n..? what's wrong..? did you think i was about to hurt you?"

he would be so worried and would start to think about every interaction and talk the two of you had. trying to remember if he ever said or did something that would make you think that he was going to hit you. he genuinely loves you with all his heart so seeing you scared of him would break his heart. however, he would try to keep his emotions back to focus on you.

it was a normal evening for you, beomgyu and the other members. after they had come home from practice they were met with a whole-ass buffet in the kitchen. whenever you had the time and energy you'd go to their dorm and cook them a nice dinner, knowing that they were probably really tired and hungry. everything was fine, everyone ate your food and thanked you for taking your time to cook for them. however, when the moment came when you would put the plates away you somehow managed to drop one. the plate shattered and broken pieces were all over the floor. you didn't think much of it, bending down to pick them up when you suddenly saw beomgyu stepping closer to you, he intends to help you clean the mess. scared he was going to kick you you tried to back away, resulting in you falling on the floor, your hands landing on top of the pieces. you hissed in pain while beomgyu and the others looked at you worried. slowly and carefully beomgyu reached out to you and helped you up. he took you to the hospital, in the car asking if you thought he would hit you. you nodded, making him start a long talk about how much he loves and treasures you. he always wants you to tell him if he makes you scared because he wants a relationship where no part is scared of the other.

tyun can easily come off as intimidating, mainly because he is tall, muscular and has a resting bitch face. so i can imagine him being pretty scary when he's angry so you flinching would happen on your first ever fight.

you thought you would have more time before your first fight, turns out you were wrong. after dating for 4 months, the honeymoon stage was long over, you and taehyun experienced your first fight. it wasn't a big deal, rather than that the two of you were slowly realizing each other's flaws. of course, that didn't stop you guys from loving each other. rather than that, you guys wanted to learn how to love the other's flaws. one of taehyuns flaws was that he wouldn't take you seriously a lot. back then you fell in love with the caring taehyun everyone knows but these days it just annoyed you that he would never listen to anything you said, claiming that he knew it better. trying to be a good partner you decided to tell him. upon hearing your words he turned so serious that just by his looks alone you became unsure if you should have told him. he stood up, making you flinch away in fear that he might hit you. he stopped in his tracks and softly asked if he could hug you. he would calm you down and tell you that you don't have to be scared of him. once you were calm again you two would discuss your problems.

honestly, i thought it would be hard to think of a situation where someone could flinch because of kai but i think it could happen when kai gets a little excited over something. that's why it would take him a bit to notice that you were scared. he was deep into his excitement but when he noticed he would try to clumsily take care of you.

you and kai were currently at an arcade together with the other boys. it was their free day and they decided they wanted to have fun together instead of chilling in their rooms individually. since kai has an addiction to collecting plushies he was busy at the claw machine since he desperately wanted to win a certain molang key chain for his bag. after his probably 50th time trying he finally got the key chain to fall out from the machine. being super excited he grabbed the plushie and started swinging his arms around while screaming in victory. you weren't paying attention after his 10th try so him suddenly screaming and jumping around startled you and made you shield your face with your arms. after finishing his celebration he looked at you with proud eyes before noticing the flustered expression on your face and the way you tried to make yourself smaller. carefully he went toward you to ask what was wrong. you tried to explain that he had scared you without hurting his feelings and when he finally got it he awkwardly hugged you and gave you the key chain as a gift to show you that he was sorry. that however meant that he had to win another one for himself but this time he would be careful not to scare you again when he wins.
