Upon submission of its Playoff Roster, each Member is required to include: - At least 17 active, available (i.e., not injured or on recall) skaters to its Active Roster, and at least two (2) eligible goaltenders to its initial Playoff Roster. - A list of all other Players who meet the Playoff Roster Eligibility requirements but who are unavailable at the time that Playoff Rosters are due to the League Office due to recall to the AHL or NHL. The Playoff Eligible List may only list Players who are unavailable due to recall. All other players (i.e., injured Players) must be listed on a Member's initial Playoff Roster (active roster or reserve list) to participate in the Playoffs. A Player who has finished the Regular Season on Injured Reserve may still be named to a Member's 24-man Playoff Roster and will be eligible to participate in the Playoffs once his full IR time has been completed (provided all other playoff eligibility requirements have been satisfied). So, for the blurb thingy, I was thinking about one with tyler inamoto in which you are his girlfriend and your are just worried sick every time he goes to block a shot in a game. But after a game, he tells you that since you two started dating he's a lot more careful because he knows that you worry about him 🥺 if you don't wanna go for it, that's alright too. Just wanted to send in this thought
He honestly looked so good in the last all access 🥺
You swear you feel your heart drop every time you see the black of the puck get lost in his jersey. Every time he drops to a knee after and has to catch his breath. Every time you run your fingers along the edge of the black thats transferred to mix with blue and purple on his skin.
You can’t help it that night. You know you should walk back to your bedroom but you lean against the doorframe instead and watch as he brushes his teeth. They’d won the game, which was good, but you’d counted each and every shot Tyler had blocked that night.
He doesn’t notice you until he turns the water off, meeting your stare through the glass. He sighs, his shoulders dropping as he leans his hands on the counter.
“Stop,” he says quietly, “I’m okay.”
You swallow hard and close the distance between the two of you, wrapping your arms around his waist. You press a kiss to the back of his shoulder blade as one of his hands grips your arm in front of him.
“Six tonight,” you mumble against his skin, leaning your forehead against him.
He takes a deep breath and turns in your arms, squeezing you close around your shoulders, “why do you keep count?”
“Because I worry, Tyler. I hate seeing you lay yourself out like that and then you always come back all beat up. When does it stop?” You question, and you know you’re being unfair, but it’s hard to stop once the emotions creep in. You loved him too much, probably, and hated to see him get hurt. Especially when you couldn’t do anything about it.
“I play safer now. Our coaches teach us better ways to angle against a shot and I’ve shied away more times this year than ever before,” he hooks a finger under your chin to make you look at him, “I promise I would never do something reckless out there. I know what’s waiting for me after if I get hurt.”
You can’t help but let out a little laugh when he smirks because you know exactly what he’d have waiting.
“A crazy, worried girlfriend who would baby you?”
He nods quickly, “yeah and the last thing I need is the boys chirping me for that one.”
“I’m sorry,” you sigh, leaning your chin on his chest and looking up at him, “I don’t mean to get on your case about the way you play your game. I get you need to protect your goalie.”
“I’m telling Robbie you said to stop blocking shots,” he says, his tone turning serious.
Your eyes go wide and you smack his chest, “stop it! He likes me and I want to keep it that way.”
Tyler let’s out a little chuckle and shakes his head at you, “you done? Can we go to bed now?”
“Yeah, yeah,” you blush, trying to push away from him.
He leans down, making you think he’s going to give you a kiss, but he pulls back just at the last second and scoops you up bridal style. You squeal and grab onto him, kissing his cheek.
Just when he had you stressed out he managed to pull you right back in.
