Draco x Reader
Getting a little closer to Draco. Its a slow burn!
Word count: 1804
Warnings: I dont think so, please let me know if you notice any.
Tumblr media
“Hey y/n. Y/N?” A deep whisper calls at me from the desk behind.
I had come to the library in my study break to get away from all the noise and actually be able to concentrate on my charms essay. I had a whole week to do this but low and behold I was having to rush it in my final break before its due. Trust me to try and cram 3 pieces of homework into an hour and a half. I had already been distracted when I saw Draco walk into the library a little while ago. As he slowly walked through each aisle, browsing the books, a soft knot in his brows as he read through a few pages. He had me stuck in a daze. I was glad when he passed to sit behind me, out of sight, making me finally able to focus on trying to get this bloody essay finished.
“Y/L/N!” his whisper was more direct now, one sharp order for me to turn to him.
“What?” I shoot back at him, I can get rather irritable when I'm studying, but as my eyes catch him all my frustration leaves me.
Draco sits with three books open in front of him, one hand twirling a quill between his fingers and his head resting in the palm of the other. His grey eyes look up at me and he pouts. “What were the three water-related constellations Professor Sinistra pointed out in the last lesson?”
“Errr…” I give him a sorry look, I haven't even started to think of the astronomy homework yet.
“I’ve got Pisces and Eridanus but I can’t, for the life of me, remember the third.” He flips through the book closest to him in frustration.
“One minute…” I pull out the notes I had borrowed from Hermione and scan through to the constellation names. “Only Hermione is actually able to read her rushed scribbles. Errr, Cetuh? Cetus? ”
Draco sits up with this information and grabs at one of his books. “I swear I read through that. C-E-T-U-S?”
I nod in response.
With his fingers gripped tightly around the quill he hurriedly copies out a sentence from the book and dramatically bounces his hand off the parchment as he adds his final full stop. “Perfect. That's me done then.” He sets his quill into the ink and leans back in his chair. His long arms stretching up over his head for a few seconds and then releasing them with a loud sigh. “How much have you got left?”
“I just need to proofread my charms paper. Then I’ve got arithmancy and then astronomy, so not much!” I reply sarcastically and then throw my hands to my face letting out a frustrated, but quiet, squeal.
“I can help... if you want.”
I slowly let down my hands, eyeing the white haired boy, shocked that he would be willing to waste his break to help me. “Really?”
Draco chews at the inside of his mouth, “I mean, only if you want, it's just that I’ve already done it so.” A smirk begins to form on his lips. “Of course not suggesting that you wouldn’t be able to get it all done in the next 45 minutes. Look at you, you've clearly got it all organised and planned out.” With a nod of his chin he signals towards the messy piles of notes, parchment and books I have on my desk.
“Hey!” I giggle, “It's an organised mess ok.”
“That's exactly what I'm saying.” he stacks the books on his table into a neat pile and drags his chair to seat himself opposite me. Taking the parchment from my hand he slides a pot of ink towards me. “Here, I’ll finish reading this for you and you get started on the Arithmancy Worksheet.”
I smile at him as I accept the ink and flip open my Arithmancy book, scanning over the contents table.
Without taking his eyes away from the piece he is reading, Draco mumbles a quiet “46.”
I drag my finger to number 46 and there it is, the exact topic I need. “I knew that.” I whisper with a cheeky grin.
He lets out a deep, breathy chuckle, tilting his head to the side, “Ofcourse.”
I speed through the question sheet, looking up at the handsome boy in front of me now and again as he tries his best to be discreetly correcting some mistakes on the sheet he is reading.
I sit my parchment to dry and move onto the Astronomy worksheet. This is also something I should be able to speed through. Although the names can tend to escape me, constellations have always been so interesting to me, also I have Hermione’s notes so I can’t really go wrong.
Draco places the finished paper onto the desk and rests his elbows on top of it. “You know, for someone who stays up all night and leaves their work till the last minute, you sure as hell have managed to write a brilliant essay.” Sliding his chin over his fingers until he finds a comfortable spot to rest it, he smiles at me.
I lift a single brow at him. “Oh please… I saw you crossing out and adding stuff to it.”
“I didn’t say you were a good speller. Bloody hell, you were adding and taking away the wrong letters left, right and centre.”
I let out a hearty laugh and exaggerate on his point. “Yeah, I rarely manage to spell anything but my name right.”
“But what you’re actually saying is quite an interesting perspective. Contrary to what I’d heard, I believe you're not just a pretty face are you?”
I try and fail to stop the blood rushing to my face. “Thankyou Dray.”
“Dray?” he tilts his head, frowning but amused. “What, two syllables just too much work for you?”
I click my fingers and point at him jokingly. “Yes… also I think it suits you, it’s cute.” I shrug.
Draco shakes his head taking in a sharp breath, now it was his turn to try and hide a blush. Leaning over me, he reaches a book from his desk. From it he pulls out the book mark (a pressed stem of eucalyptus) and begins to read.
We sit in an easy silence while I finish the last few questions.
The both of us look up as Madam Pince walks up to our desks signaling to the clock. “Do you two not have a class to get to?”
“Shit.” I mutter under my breath as we begin clearing our things. We only had 5 minutes to get to the highest tower on the other side of the castle for astronomy class.
After promptly sliding all his stuff into his bag, Draco waits patiently for me to messily stuff my bag with the scraps of parchment, books and quills I had spread all over the desk. I look up at him as I finish and he holds his arm out, gesturing towards the door. “After you.”
We exit the library and I notice just how long Dracos legs are, his strides are probably double mine. “Ok, I know we're in a rush but my tiny, little legs cannot keep up with you.”
He looks back at me with a cool smirk and begins taking longer strides. “Not my problem y/l/n.”
“Hey!” I jog a few steps to catch up to him and playfully elbow his side.
He stops abruptly, looks me dead in the eyes and then caught in a laugh he shouts “RACE YOU!” He speeds away, catching his bag as it slips from his arm and throwing it over his shoulder.
“WHAT? NO!” It takes me a second to get over my initial shock and I race after him.
I keep my eyes fixed on his snowy hair and as we weave through the other students and I start catching up to him.
We run through the courtyard, me just a few steps behind him. “Come on slow coach!” he calls out to me as he spins to see how far behind I am. “Oh shut up Malfoy!” I retort, laughing as I skip over the legs of some 1st year girl laying on the grass.
As we turn into a hallway Harry and Ron are walking towards us. “What are…?” Harry begins to question but Draco cuts him off.
“Excuse me gents.” he blurts out as he shoots between the two Gryfindors.
“Eee. Sorry boys, see you in potions!” I follow his lead, leaving both of them confused.
We get to the end of the hallway and Draco turns to the left. “Uh-OH! You sure that's the way Dray?” I shout in his direction as I turn right.
He u-turns in the middle of the corridor and sprints after me. “You just got so lucky!”
“You've been in this school for how many years now?” I tease him, approaching the Astronomy Tower stairs.
“You cheeky git.” he cackles as I turn around to stick my tongue out.
Our breathless laughter echoes through the circled staircase, wrapping me in a blanket of joy. This is a moment that’ll get stored, not in my mind, but deep in my heart. I try my best to run through the pain forming in my thighs but Draco soon catches up to me. We get to the top of the stairs and I let my back fall into the wall. “Oh my goodness, I’m never running again in my life.”
Draco places one hand on the wall to steady himself and the other on his face, squeezing at his cheeks. “AAA HA HA!” he shouts, his voice husky from the rush “Stop laughing, my face hurts.” In that moment, he is a vision to behold. His broad chest rising and falling heavily as he catches his breath. His robe hanging off his shoulders, pulling back his shirt and the gaps between the buttons revealing flashes of his bare skin. The afternoon sun, golden over his face.
I snap back into reality as Hermione calls our names sternly from the classroom door.
“Coming.” I answer her and turn back to Draco who gives her a nod. “All that and we’re still late!”
“Still, not bad for your tiny, little legs.” he smiles down at me and shifts a strand of hair from my face.
“Pretty bad for your long legs though.” I let out a silly giggle. “I can’t believe I actually won.”
He frowns. “Pfft, you got lucky and it’s a draw.”
“Nope, I win!” I wink. He tries to protest but I press my finger to his lips, “Shhh.” as I step backwards into the classroom.
Hope you liked this, I loved writing it.

“Hi, what can I get for you?” Julie said, looking at the person who had just walked up to her register. Her coffee shop, Good Times, brought in all kinds of customers. It was the perfect mix of all the good things a coffee shop should be.
“Uh, just a large coffee please.” The girl said as she dug through her small backpack.
“Of course! That’ll be 5 dollars,” As the girl looked up at her, Julie blushed. She didn’t think she had ever seen anyone prettier in her life.
“You okay?” She said, placing $5 in Julie’s outstretched hand. If you asked Julie, she would have sworn that at that moment, she had felt sparks.
Snap out of it, Molina! Julie told herself. “Uh, yeah, could I get a name?” She grabbed her sharpie and a cup as the girl spoke.
“Flynn.”
Flynn.
~
Flynn came into the shop at the same time after that. Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. As Julie worked her shift, she would come in at exactly 3 in the afternoon. The small table in the corner of the shop was her favorite. Julie had watched her the first week she came in, as she tried different tables.
She tried the table in the far corner of the shop once, and Julie made up an excuse about how the shop needed to be swept so she could look at the stunning girl.
But now, it was 3. And then 4 came, and 5. Flynn still wasn’t here.
“Do you think she’s okay? She always comes in at exactly this time, she has to be okay. Right?” Julie said, looking at Reggie. Reggie was one of the many aspiring musicians in LA, and sometimes, his band would play at the cafe. They would bring in a huge crowd of girls, and Julie didn’t mind the band.
“I’m sure she’s okay,” Reggie promised his boss. “She could be caught in traffic, or she doesn’t want coffee today.”
“Yeah…” Julie said, turning to the register as Reggie’s bandmate walked up. “Luke, what can I get you?”
“Two things,” the flirtatious boy said. “Your number, and Mr.Reginald.”
“Magic word?” Julie said, her focus pulling away as the bell at the front of the shop.
Flynn was huffing and puffing, her hair was wild and all over the place, but her one constant. Her backpack.
“Please,” Luke said, drawing Julie’s attention back.
“Reg! Luke’s asking for you!” She turned to the boy, her smirk matching his. “And as for my number Luke, you’ll have to order something to get it.” Julie turned to Reggie, who was emerging from the back of the shop.
“Okay, you need to get your boy out of the shop, he knows he’s not supposed to be here. Especially after your last concert.” Reggie rolled his eyes as you spoke, but when he saw Flynn, his eyes lit up.
“I’m always here if Julie fails you,” He hollered as he dragged Luke out by his ear.
Julie sighed. “I- I am so sorry about, well, that,” She said, but nothing could hide that she was now a stuttering, flustered mess after seeing Flynn.
“Oh, don’t worry about it, boys suck,” She fiddled with her fingers a bit. “So if I order something, I can get your number?” Julie was surprised at her words.
“Uh,” She froze for a second as she processed. “Well, I- I guess you’ll have to wait and see.”
“Oh, well, can I get whatever your largest size is, and your most caffeinated drink with two extra shots of espresso?” Flynn asked.
“Are you okay?” Julie said, looking at the girl with the most caring look in the world.
“Yeah, I’ve got an essay due at 11:59, an essay I haven’t started, and- and it’s worth 60% of my final grade.”
“Alright then, our largest size is an X-L, and it’s like about this big,” Julie held her hands up to show something that was 2 times bigger than the large. “And as for most caffeine, if you add two shots to a macchiato, that gives me the boost I need to get through doing taxes,” Julie let out a small laugh.
“That would be great, actually,” She smiled. “Uh, how much?” Flynn said, pulling out her wallet.
“Oh, this is on the house! Don’t worry about it,” Julie said. “You got any music selections you’d like us to play? Music helps me get through anything, so if you want-”
“Everybody talks.” Flynn blurted out.
“I love that song! Okay, I will have your drink and the song playing, in about 5 minutes!”
Flynn gave an appreciative smile and walked over to her table. The one in the corner.
~
“Alrighty, one caramel macchiato with two extra shots, a blueberry muffin, and Everybody Talks. Can I get you anything else?”
Flynn took a sip of the coffee. “This is perfect, thank you.”
“Of course!” A smile rested on Julie’s face as she walked back to her station. She anxiously pulled out her phone and checked it for any texts.
“Julie!” Luke shouted, bursting through the door. Reggie was close behind him, trying to stop the boy.
“If you are going to be this loud, I’ll ban Sunset Curve from playing here, got it?” She stared the boy down.
“Okay but, Reggie told me about the coffee girl. Ya know, the one who orders a large black coffee every other day at 3?”
“Where are you going with this?” Julie sighed, annoyed, and desperately trying to stop him from saying anything more.
“Well,” He stumbled towards her. “You like her!” Julie started to protest to his statement, but her flustered face betrayed her. “Ha! I was right!” He shouted in victory.
“Luke,” Reggie said, in a warning tone.
“What? Is coffee girl here?” He gazed around the shop. “Reggie said she always sits at table 2B. I don’t know what that means, but he also said that she came in late today.” He spun around, his eyes landing on the table where Flynn was working on her essay.
Her eyes and face said it all. She had heard everything.
“Luke, get the hell out of my shop,” Julie said quietly.
He raised his hands and nodded to Flynn. “She never would have told you anyway.”
The shop was quiet for a moment after Luke left. Julie walked over to the music tablet and clicked on everybody talks.
At least music could fill the silence.
~
Flynn didn’t come to the shop for two weeks after that.
Julie didn’t receive any new texts.
~
She wanted someone by her side that day. Opening up the shop, it felt like an opportunity had passed by. I should have written my number on that cup, fuck. Julie didn’t curse, and she tried to stay away from people who did, but she felt so dumb.
Hanging up the last heart, she stepped back to her station, fiddling with everything as she prepared for the morning’s rush.
“Can you believe it’s already Valentine’s day?” Someone said, clearly in a call as they entered the shop. “It’s like the year has gone by so fast already.”
“What can I get for you?” Julie asked. They held up a finger as they wrapped up their conversion.
“Oh, I’m just the messenger. Are you Julie?” She nodded. “Okay great! This,” They pulled a letter out of their pocket and placed it on the counter. “Is for you. Good luck!”
“Uh, thanks?” Julie said as they left.
~
It was a busy Saturday, so it wasn’t until 4 hours later that Julie was able to open the letter.
“Dear Julie. Want to see where this leads? Follow the hearts,” Julie read. “Okay then. Reggie! You are in charge! I’ll be back! Okay?” She said, stepping outside after he confirmed. “Follow the hearts… What does that mean?” She looked around, trying to find some hearts.
And there, on the little bridge next to the shop, was a heart. It had a little note that said, “follow me!”
And so she did. Down the bridge, past the library, and finally, landing outside the garden.
There was a final heart, one with a rose and a note this time. It simply read, “Picnic?” That was all Julie needed as she looked out to the garden.
And there, amongst the field of grass, was the only person she’d ever need.

a sky full of stars (and she was looking at her)
Word Count- 2.8k
Pairing- Penemily
Summary- Penemily highschool au where they are paired up on a English assignment! Based on this post.
Part 1 of my, maybe we’re from the same star, series
Read it here on ao3
Tw’s- very small mentions of substances, minor swearing
A/N- this is the first installment of a series based on my yearning posts, and my first time writing romance/3rd pov, I’d love some feedback!
It’s hard to miss Penelope Garcia. With her bright clothes and brighter personally it seems like the sun shines a spotlight on her. Her golden hair is like a halo around her, she looks like an angel, and perhaps one of these days Emily will get the courage to talk to her beyond small talk and group presentations. She’s pulled out of her thoughts when the shrill bell rings, too loudly for her tastes but this whole building seems to scream at her, so perhaps it’s fitting.
Ms. Blake starts to talk about ancient poetry. The greats from the time periods before everything got so complicated. English is not Emily’s favorite class but somehow Blake’s class is more or less interesting, is it because she’s a milf? Maybe, who’s to say. As the class nears its end, she announces, “Alright, as we close out our poetry unit, we have one last assignment that hopefully at least one of you will enjoy, it’s a group project where-” immediately two hands go up ready to ask the question that always gets asked when a group project is announced. “Before you ask, no, you aren’t picking your partners, I am,” a collective groan comes out of about half the class. Emily isn’t too mad about it though, she doesn’t have many friends, especially in honors English. JJ barely passes English as it is. She’s all alone here, so she’s glad she doesn’t have to suffer through the awkwardness of trying to find a partner before everyone else does and ending up with the one kid who she’s pretty sure has been high the entire year and likes to leer at her in the hallway. “For this assignment, you’ll have to analyze one famous poem, from whatever time period you’d like, and write an essay about the poet’s intentions. If you’d like extra credit, which I know for a fact some of you need, you can do a reading of the poem in front of the class or do a drawing that represents it. Any questions?”
The classroom fills with questions of ‘when is this due?’ And ‘this sucks do we have to do this’. Emily however, is distracted by one very colorful girl in the upper left corner of the room, her spot in the back lets her admire the view without being caught, which tends to make it difficult to pay attention, but well, some things are just more fun than others. Her attention is drawn back to Blake when she hears her name followed by Penelope Garcia.
Oh shit.
On the one hand, this is exactly the opportunity she’d been looking for to ‘make her move’ so to speak, on the other, she’s terrified of making a fool of herself. Emily realizes that she’s been sitting for a bit too long when Blake stops talking and the rest of the class has already paired off. She catches Penelope’s eyes and tries to fight the blush of her cheeks. The sound of her docs hitting the linoleum is a bit too intense for this setting, she prefers their ‘clunk’ when it’s a crowded room, and she can walk like she owns the place. Emily sits down at the desk adjacent to Penelope and gets ready to ruin her chances with her.
“Okay! Hi! I’m Penelope! Which you already knew because Ms. Blake announced it, but it’s polite to introduce yourself to people so I thought I would do that now which I’ve done so I’ll stop talking now!”
Emily can’t help but giggle a little at her rambling, she doesn’t want her to stop talking quite yet, her voice melodic to her ears.
“So, I’m not big in poetry, I’m more of a comic book gal if you catch my drift, so I was hoping that you had some thoughts?” She drags the o in hoping and trails off waiting for Emily to fill in the blanks. It takes her a second too long because her brain is short-circuiting but she manages.
“Yeah okay, um, I’ve read some Sappho back when my mother was stationed in Greece? That could work?” she hopes bringing up Sappho wasn’t too obvious of her intentions, but it was all she could think of. Sappho had a point when she said ‘Sweet mother, I cannot weave – slender Aphrodite has overcome me with longing for a girl’
“Yeah okay! Cool! We’ve got like 3 minutes left of class, would you want to go to Bricks and Beans after school to work on it?”
“Uh yeah, yeah, that, um, that sounds great! I’ll meet you in front of the school?”
“Yep!” She pops the ‘p’ and Emily thinks she can’t possibly get cuter.
Emily’s walk to lunch has never been quite this mix of excitement and anxiety as it is now. Hopefully, JJ will be able to make sense of what’s happening because the wires in Emily’s brain are very much twisted.
“Okay, I’m telling you it’s not a date,”
“Yeah I know it’s not technically a date but come on. I personally have never asked my group project partner to a coffee shop before. She obviously likes you.”
Jennifer Jareau has been blessed with the right combination of looks that ensures she never had to wonder if her crushes liked her back. Emily wishes she had that special brand of confidence, but it’s simply not realistic, the number of openly queer girls at school is small, the number of them that would be interested in her? Even smaller.
“Look I’m not going to be the loser that gets my heart broken all right,” she steals a fry off of JJ’s tray before her hand gets smacked.
“Ugh I’m so bored here, promise me you’ll at least try. I need some new drama around here and you two would be so fucking cute.”
“Fine. On the condition that when* it goes south you’re buying me ice cream.”
Emily’s day goes by slowly and all at once. Hours turn into years turn into seconds and before she knows it she’s awkwardly standing outside the building waiting for Penelope to meet her.
When she does, Emily’s pulse quickens ever so slightly in her presence. It’s annoying as hell.
“I was worried you were standing me up,” a futile attempt on Emily’s behalf of trying to seem calm, cool, and collected.
“What! I would never, I’ve been looking forward to getting a macchiato and hanging out with you and Sappho all day! Coolest ladies from recent history,” she has to try and stop herself from getting too excited at Penelope’s words, they don’t mean anything, she’s just some loser that she has to work with to get a good final grade in the class. A means to an end, disposable.
“I don’t think Sappho counts as recent history but thank you, ma’am,” ma’am? God, what is she doing, this is going to go south faster than the time she tried to wear ripped jeans to one of her mother’s stupid dinner parties. To her surprise, her stupid comment is met with a giggle on Penelope’s part.
“Why thank you darling,” she replies in a phony southern accent that makes them both crack up, “Lead the way.”
Bricks and Beans is the staple coffee shop where all the high schoolers hang out after school or work during college. The owners are a sweet old couple in their 70’s who seem to be reliving the past with the vintage decorations. The pair settle into a table in the back, a window next to them showing off the highway. Emily is tasked with buying the coffees and Penelope rattles off her order filled with things Emily’s never even heard of.
“Okay, I’m pretty sure the barista is laughing at me now but here is your sugar coffee with whipped cream,” she says as she slides into her seat, placing down the coffees on the minimal free space left.
“My savior,” she says, fake swooning, “Okay so, Sappho? That’s the lesbian right?”
Emily answers with a snort before actually replying, “Yeah that’s the lesbian. I’m sure Blake will love it. I’m like, 90% sure she’s gay.”
“Single English teacher who loves Oscar Wilde? Yeah, I get it. My gaydar is spectacular by the way.”
“Oh yeah?”
She nods.
“Um, yeah, okay how about this poem:
‘and in your song most of all she rejoiced.
But now she is conspicuous among Lydian women
as sometimes at sunset
the rosyfingered moon
surpasses all the stars. And her light
stretches over salt sea
equally and flowerdeep fields.
And the beautiful dew is poured out
and roses bloom and frail
chervil and flowering sweetclover.
But she goes back and forth remembering
gentle Atthis and in longing
she bites her tender mind’”
“That’s gorgeous,” Penelope had a dreamy look in her eyes, like seeing a beautiful sunset for the first time. Except, instead of a sunset she was looking at Emily, seeing her, like for the first time, “I love when artists talk about the stars,” she leans back on her chair and looks up as if she’s looking at a constellation and not an off-white popcorn ceiling. Her collarbones are exposed and Emily feels like a 17th-century peasant pining over exposed ankles, “There’s just something about the stars ya know? They’re so far away, but sometimes it feels like we’re there with them. They twinkle at us and at each other,” she pauses to make eye contact, “maybe the greatest love story is in the sky,” there’s a beat too long, Emily doesn’t know how to respond to that comment, it’s hard to follow art without ruining it.
“Or maybe I’m just a sad sap for romance.”
“No!” She gets a of couple heads turned her way, the exclamation too loud for the environment, “I mean no, I get what you mean, they’re beautiful. Sometimes at night I go on my roof just to stargaze. It’s so peaceful there,” it’s now or never, “you should do it with me someday.”
“I’d love that,” it’s almost bashful, the two of them hoping the underlying meanings of their words are being shown, lest their hopes not be conveyed and come shattering down like a falling star.
The sun slowly sets as they work on interpreting the inter-workings of Sappho’s mind. The drinks run out so Emily buys them both hot chocolate, extra whipped cream and chocolate chips for Penelope. When she takes a sip, the whipped cream sticks to the side of her face.
“You got some whipped cream on your face,” she gestures to the offender in question. The blonde tries and fails, to get it off.
“Did I get it?”
“No, it’s more,” after some failed attempts, and the failure of Emily’s common sense, she decides to just get it off herself. It feels too intimate too quick, they both freeze, Emily’s hand inches away from Penelope’s face. Their eyes lock, scared brown eyes met soft blue ones and just for a second, there is peace in between their beating hearts and hands. Emily quickly brings her hand down and mumbles an apology.
After three hours they call it a night, Emily now the proud owner of Penelope’s phone number. On her drive home, she wonders if she’d done right, and she wonders if she’d done wrong. If she was clear about what stargazing meant to her. A branch into her world, her safe space. To share the dark night sky with something is to share your soul with them. Even JJ didn’t know about her nighttime viewings. Did Penelope feel the same way? The shared smiles and small laughs pointed yes. But Penelope was Penelope and Emily was Emily. How could an angel love a human? Why would it sacrifice its virtue for the danger of love? If Penelope was pink and Emily was dark green, could they mix and make something beautiful or would they both end up a ruined brown?
Dinner is tense as always, she does not share anything with her mother, she does not want to. They tiptoe around each other hoping that they won’t step on each other’s toes and crash. Emily retreats to her room the second dinner is over and opens a window. She loves that it gets dark earlier now. The fresh fall air trumps that tacky of scented candles that fill the house in a futile attempt to make it a home. She opens her laptop to finish the concluding paragraph of their essay. She allows herself to be lost in the words of another in order to avoid her own problems of love and belonging. Her phone rings. It’s her problems. They chat with careful conversation about their project and finally, it is finished. It looks good actually, or at least, to Emily it does. It’s not going to win them a Pulitzer, but they’ll get an A.
And then, “Hey.”
“Hey?” They’ve been on the phone for a half an hour, she’s not sure why she’s being greeted all of a sudden.
“Does your offer to stargaze still stand? It’s nice out tonight and, I don’t know, it sounded nice?”
“Yeah of course! Do you, um, do you need a ride or?”
“Nah I got my license and good old Esther. I do need your address though.”
“Oh yeah, I’ll text it to you. Who’s Esther?”
“My car! She’s a lovely thing thought she needed a name. I’ll be there in say, 15 minutes?”
“Sure. Bye Penelope.”
Holy shit.
Okay, she’s got 15 minutes to both have everything ready, but also seem completely casual about the fact that her crush is coming over to stargaze on her roof. The ambassador is long retreated either in bed or into her office, so she shouldn’t be a problem. Emily grabs a couple of blankets for them to sit on to avoid the chilly breeze and a bag of popcorn. She brushes her hair and touches up her eyeliner, not that it’s really visible in the dark, but it helps her feel confident which she’s desperate for at the moment. Her phone buzzes with a text, *im here!!!* It reads. She takes a deep breath before very slowly opening the door.
“Hi,” she whispers, the wind carrying her voice, but it’s just loud enough for its recipient. She closes the door
“Hi! So! Stargazing? That’s fun, I’m like, really excited it’s been a while since I’ve done something like this,” she somehow makes a whisper seem filled with enough energy to power a flashlight that Emily definitely should have brought. They make their way to the intersection where the hill meets the rooftop, and they only trip once, on a stick, but together they stay upright. Emily throws the blankets on the roof and climbs up on the chair before throwing her body on the roof. With her help, Penelope makes her way up after a couple of tries. By the time they lay the blankets out and are sitting down, they’re both practically crying from laughter, her nerves from earlier disappearing slowly.
The laughter fizzles out, and they’re both left staring at the stars. Penelope apparently is an expert of both astronomy and astrology so Emily’s ears are blessed with the sound of her voice. Like sunshine on a sweet summer day. She thinks that Penelope and her are like the sun and the moon, both beautiful, and complementary. Emily’s gaze shifts from the constellations to Penelope’s side profile. The stars shine almost as bright as her, and she can’t help but watch her instead. She can see the stars in her eyes, perhaps they were always there, but they’re more visible now looking in their reflection.
“God they’re beautiful,” Penelope says in awe. Like she can’t believe she’s blessed with the presence of the stars when really it is the stars who should have the honor.
“Yeah, yeah they are,” at this point she’s openly gazing at Penelope. When Penelope turns to meet her gaze she thinks she’s been caught, that it’s over and this night will be one for the ages in terms of beauty and heartbreak. Slowly, a hand makes its way to her cheek, cold like the air around them, but it somehow manages to set her skin on fire.
“May I?”
Emily nods and then they are lips on hers, it is sweet just like her. She’s being kissed under the starlight by a girl who deserves only beauty. Perhaps her dark green can be the field by the sunset of Penelope’s pink in the painting they make together. They do not have to mix, they can simply be combined to create something stunning. They can simply be. They pull apart slowly, and looking into her eyes, Emily thinks that the stars in comparison are simply dull. There is nothing as bright and beautiful in the world as the eyes of your lover.

“Hey, Jun, I submitted our presentation,” you chime as you pass by the group of boys turned every which way in their desks, chatting loudly before class starts. The tall boy turns his body around in his seat to face you, a blush creeping up on his cheeks as he raises his hand slightly to offer a wave of thanks. His frat bros around him start the typical banter of “Ooooo, Junnieeee”.
Rolling your eyes, you stop and turn around, a sharp rebuttal on the tip of your tongue. Opening your mouth to come back to the boys with some witty remark that would hopefully sting them, your brain takes over your actions and you’re reminded how useless it would be to even entertain their jokes. You settle on another slight eye roll. Before you whip back around to make your way to your seat, Jun catches your eye and a clearly apologetic look is plastered onto his face.
Sliding into your seat towards the back of the class, you wonder why Jun hangs out with those boys? Why did he even join the fraternity in the first place? You’ve known Jun since the first semester of freshman year of university from being placed in the same orientation group and when you found out he joined a fraternity, you were honestly a little shocked. Shy Jun from orientation? In one of the frats known for the craziest parties? It didn’t sound like the Jun you met and have come to know over the years. The memory of your first meeting plays so clearly in your mind, as if it happened yesterday:
“Hey, do you know where we’re supposed to meet?” you ask, jogging up to the tall boy looking around campus just as you. Stopping in front of him, you greet him with a smile and you’re met with the tall boy’s wide eyes and stuttering mouth.
“I just noticed we have the same color tag,” you explain, picking up your lanyard to emphasize your point. “It said the south quad? I’m thinking it’s maybe down that way by the dining hall? I’m not sure.”
Looking up at him, raising your hand to block the sun from your eyes, you see him struggling to find the words, “I uh, yeah I um...I think it’s that way too.”
“Okay, cool,” you enthusiastically respond, heading down the pathway to where you had pointed. Realizing the boy was not next to you, you turn around, “You coming?”
“Yeah! Yeah,” he says as he slightly jogs to catch up with you.
“I’m Y/N by the way,” you tell him once he is by your side.
“Jun,” he replies.
From your walk to the south quad and freshman orientation, you could tell that Jun wasn’t much of a talker. He kept to himself. Even after orientation was over, you still saw him often due to having the same major and almost identical class schedules, but you never really spoke. You’d offer a smile whenever you saw him and he always returned it, however there wasn’t really much speaking. You don’t even know if you’ve had a proper conversation with him. When you’ve been paired for group projects, you mainly communicate through email. He’s shy, that’s okay.
Ripped from your reminiscent thoughts by your phone vibrating in your hand, you look down to see what the notification was.
are you ready for tonight?? i heard tchi is having a ceos and office hoes party👀
Sighing, you take a moment to think about the text your roommate just sent. You have a huge essay due in a few days that you’ve barely even started on...you really should work on that tonight instead of going to this frat party. But it’s a TChi party...and that’s the frat Jun is in...you’ll just wake up extra early the next couple of days to make up for the lost time.
i’m in, let’s goooo
Time could not pass any slower as you waited for the professor to wrap up class. “Now this marketing strategy is useful when blah blah blah”, you were just ready to head back to your apartment and plan your outfit for the party tonight. You’d never admit it, not even to yourself...but maybe you wanted to look good because Jun would be there? Is that that reason you’re so excited? No, you’re excited to go out and have a good time with your roommate...right?
Finally, after an agonizingly long hour and fifteen minutes, class is over and you can go home. You quickly gather your belongings, stuffing them into your backpack and walking towards the door. As you pass Jun and his fraternity brothers, you hear a voice call out, “Hey, Y/N, will I be seeing you at the party tonight?”
Turning around, to identify who was speaking to you, there are six pairs of eyes glued on you. Assuming the boy with the cocky grin on his face is the culprit, you narrow your eyes and retort, “Wouldn’t you like to know” and continue to walk out of the classroom. You weren’t 100% sure, but you think you saw Jun stifle a laugh as you exited.
You and your roommate decide to go check the local thrift stores for some button up shirts to complete your “office hoes” look for the part (how anyone comes up with these ideas is beyond you) and grab a light bite to eat. The rest of the evening is spent perfecting your outfits, listening to bad music on the Spotify frat party playlists, and pregaming with shots on shots on shots.
By the time it’s 10:00pm and the DD arrived, you’re already a little tipsy.  You and your roommate are a giggling mess as you hurry out to the DD’s car, swinging open the door and plopping in. The short ride consists of the young DD trying to flirt with you both (awfully, might I add) and your roommate going along with his attempts just for the fun of it. Before you know it, he stops the car in the middle of the narrow street and you two shout your thanks as you slide out of the car, preparing yourself for whatever scene you were about to meet when you walked into the house.
Passing a few groups of people who already had friends who are blacked out and vomiting in the yard, you make your way to the backdoor to enter the house booming with music. Twisting the doorknob, you are met with a gust of hot air and the strong smell of a concoction of various alcohols & kool aid packets. Your roommate grabs hold of your hand and begins the trek through the large crowd in the kitchen, making a pit stop at the island to grab a cup of whatever the strong drink was that everyone had.
The entire time you’re walking through, you can’t help but search the room for Jun. Why? You’re not sure. As you continue your way through the intoxicated bodies to the stairs leading down to the basement where the music was coming from, your eyes meet with the same boy from class earlier with the cocky grin. You groan and bring the cup up to your lips, downing the sour beverage. You try your best to ignore him as you pass, however, he places a hand on your waist and says, “I’ll find you later, okay?”.
Looking at him with the most disgusted look you can muster, you shove his hand off of you and follow your roommate down the staircase and into the basement where you’re greeted by the image of numerous frat boys grinding with scantily clad girls. Aaand this is why you typically like to stay in. Was the reason you came out tonight to see Jun? No...absolutely not...deny till you die, baby.
Your roommate grabs your other hand, dragging you out to the middle of the dance floor and you begin to move with the music. You don’t even know how long you were dancing for when you noticed your cup was empty. “Hey! I’m gonna go get another cup!” you shout over the music to your roommate.
“Okay! I’m gonna go over there and talk to some of my friends from class!”, they yell back to you, motioning over to a group of people talking in the corner. You nod and part ways. Making your way out of the sea of bodies dancing, you trip over someone’s stray leg and feel an arm on your waist catch you. Looking up, unfortunately, it’s cocky grin guy from class. You don’t even know his name, that’s how little you’re interested in him.
Rolling your eyes for what felt like the millionth time today (at this point you were sure they would get stuck in the back of our head), you try to push him off of you. “Hey now, I told you I was going to find you later, didn’t I?” he says, the pungent smell of beer rolling out of his mouth and into your face.
“Ugh, gosh, get away from me,” you say, finally pushing him hard enough that he stumbles backward a little bit, allowing you time to start walking away from him. As you reach out for the railing of the staircase, you feel a strong grip on your wrist. Turning around, there is again. What does this guy not get? Can he not leave you alone? What is his deal?
“What are you walking away from me for, huh?” he slurs out, clearly extremely drunk.
“I’m not interested,” you sternly respond, attempting to tug your wrist out of his hand. His grip tightens and your heartbeat starts to quicken, your tipsy mind becoming clearer due to the danger you felt. He continues inching closer towards you, his nasty breath growing closer and closer to your face.
“Dude, she said she’s not interested,” a voice says as a tall body stands next to you and easily removes the boy’s hand from you. You retract your wrist into your chest, rubbing at the bruise that will inevitably be there tomorrow.
“What do you care? Is she your girlfriend or something?” the drunken frat boy responds, clearly trying to pick a fight.
“It doesn’t matter if she has a boyfriend or not. You don’t just grab girls like that whenever you please,” finally you look up to see Jun glaring down at the much shorter boy. “You shouldn’t back off just because a girl has a boyfriend. You should back off because she said no. Now, get a DD to take you home. You’re way too drunk to be here.”
The drunken boy shrugs past Jun and stomps up the stairs, clearly angry. You watch him stumble past people coming down into the basement as Jun gently touches your wrist. All of your attention is immediate back on him.
“Come on, let’s go up and get you some ice,” he says, giving you a soft smile and placing his hand on your shoulder and arm to help guide you up the stairs. Once in the kitchen, he opens the freezer and wraps some cubes of ice into a random kitchen towel he found in a tucked away drawer.
“Do you want to go to my room? It’s upstairs, so it’ll be quieter and you’ll be able to take a minute,” he offered, motioning over to where you presume the stairs are. You nod and his hands resume their places on your shoulder and arm, continuing your journey through the sweaty crowd of people. He moves the large piece of wood that covers the staircase so no random party goers can go up to the bedrooms, then you really get to see how nice the house was. You never would have expected this from a frat house, but it was actually well kept.
Jun leads you to the second to last door on the right, twisting the doorknob, and opening the door for you. You can’t help but notice the stuffed animal laying on his bed of a cat as you try to subdue your smile. Of course Jun is the type to have a cat stuffed animal, you wouldn’t expect anything less.
You sit on the edge of his well made bed as he closes the door and comes down to sit next to you. He tenderly lifts your wrist from your lap and places the ice onto it.
“Sorry about him,” he says, breaking the silence.
“It’s okay,” you respond, not sure what to say. You honestly were just in shock because this was not the quiet boy you were used to. He responds with a short, breathy laugh and a grin, the previous silence returning.
“I think this is the most I’ve ever heard you talk,” you comment, looking from your wrist up to him. You could swear you saw his cheeks start to become red.
“Maybe it’s because I’m a little tipsy,” he says with a smile, resituating the ice pack on your wrist.
“I like hearing your voice...you should be tipsy more often,” you reply before you even have a chance to think about it. Maybe you’re tipsy, as well.
The silence returns for a moment before Jun begins, “You know the reason I never really talk around you is because I have a crush on you?”
Your heart drops as you search his face for any sort of emotion, but you couldn’t tell. He just kept holding your hand and situating the ice pack.
“It makes me feel like a dumb kid again, but...that first day we met, the reason I stuttered and stammered and made a fool out of myself is because...I don’t know I’d just never seen anyone like you before. Someone who’s willing to walk right up to a stranger and immediately try to become their friend. I’d never met anyone so genuinely kind like you,” he continues.
Your mind was blank. You had no clue what to say. All this time? Jun had...liked you? Had a crush on you? Has a crush on you?? All this time while you’d been wondering why he was so shy...it was because he...likes you?
“Plus you’re insanely beautiful...but that’s besides the point,” he adds on with a smirk. At that, you can’t help but giggle. You never would’ve expected the shy boy you met to be so flirty.
“Why would you be nervous around me, though?? I literally am so un-intimidating,” you respond, not entirely sure what to say.
“Come on, look at you...how could I not be?” he says, looking up at you, your face inches away from each other. Your heart races in your chest and you’re 99% sure you might be about to have a heart attack in this boy’s bedroom right now. Your eyes flick down to his lips as you start to slowly move in closer to him, lips mere centimeters away.
BOOM BOOM BOOM. “Hey, Jun! You in there man?? There’s someone out here looking for a Y/n? I don’t know who that is, but someone said she came up here with you,” a voice shouts from the hallway. Jun closes his eyes and lets his head drop down onto your knee. With a groan of annoyance, he gets up from the bed and swings his door open, revealing the image of a boy with a beer can in hand and your roommate with tears streaming down their cheeks. You immediately shoot up from the bed and make your way to them.
“Hey, hey, what’s wrong?” you ask, concern fills your voice. After several choked out sobs, they finally tell you that their ex texted them and of course it has become a complete ordeal. As they sob in your arms, you look up and Jun and mouth a “sorry” to him.
“I’ll get you guys a DD to take you home,” he says as he pulls his phone out of his pocket. After several minutes of your roommate sitting on the floor in Jun's room crying and ranting to the two of you, the DD finally arrives.
Jun follows you both outside, ensuring that you make it to the car safely and helps you get your friend into the vehicle.
“Hey, hold on, give me your phone real quick,” he says and takes your phone from your extended hand. He quickly types something in and gives it back. “There’s my number, text me when you get home safely.”
You can’t help the butterflies that flutter throughout your body. You slide into the car with your friend and Jun closes the door after you.
He leans down into the open window, “Do you wanna maybe get breakfast tomorrow? I think we may have a lot of talking to do,” he says with a cheeky smile.
You laugh and shake your head as you look up at him, “Sounds like a date.”
One of the widest smiles you’ve ever seen is painted on his face as he pushes off from the car and backs away. As the car drives off, you turn around looking at the back window seeing Jun doing a little celebratory dance in the street. Looks like he isn’t that shy kid you met freshman year anymore.

category: seventeen days of christmas
———
it was three in the afternoon when you were on your way to your part time at a kindergarten. your course have decided to send students out for trial on teaching, and you’ve chosen to work at the same time. mainly because you wanted to have an allowance, since your parents were too busy to do so.
you walked towards an alley when it started to rain, taking shelter under a bus shed. the weather was already cold in the previous days, raining right now would only make you change your wardrobe entirely out of schedule.
teaching kids was always something you wanted to do for your career. a rather suitable and stable choice for a girl in her twenties. your parents wanted you to be a doctor though you had no passion in science, they respected your decision eventually.
the funny thing about college was that everyone expected everyone to try dating once in a while. growing up more mature, it was natural to date to test the waters or one’s certain type.
but you?
you had none.
you thought it’ll distract you from your studies. you knew all too well from an experience back in high school; from being in the top 3 down to the 20th place. also having your heart broken during finals. yep, definitely not repeating the same mistake this time at university.
dating was one thing.
falling in love was another.
————
seokmin held the books on one arm while his bag slung on his shoulder as he walked along the corridors. he thought he could get away from the intense stares from girls in high school, but seeing the repetitive chores of some students, he realised that history was tailing him once again.
his visuals were hard to resist, a bright student in his year, extremely talented in singing, and a golden boy to everyone that he was described as an ideal boy straight out from a comic book.
everyone wondered who his ideal type was or whether he was in a relationship. but seokmin was a secretive kind of lad despite his public appearance. just a handful of close friends knew who made his stone heart soft.
he used to date this certain girl in high school that ended up making his heart bitter. it took him a while, but he moved on three months in.
he thought the pain already left.
not until he met you again at a freshman orientation camp.
after shying away from his feelings for so long, just one look at you made his stomach churn in exciting and flowery feelings. it sounded girly but any boy who fell in love wouldn’t deny this.
his friends found out his reviving, big, big crush on you. seungkwan said that it was his red ears that gave it away even though his face was just plain blank. when you were out of sight after giving him an awkward wave, he would use minghao as a punching bag to release his romantic emotions. his eyes would smile and his teeth was as pure and innocent like his feelings.
he wanted to started again so badly, and he wanted to hear your answer.
that day never arrive on the contrary. it took him a year to get it on going. now it was december and you both were on your last two years of university.
“schedules are too tight, man.” seokmin reasoned out, typing his veteranary essay on rabbits’ behaviour. “i bet she’s busy too, i don’t know if we’d work out again.”
“or you’re just being a coward like you always were.” seungkwan rolled his eyes, texting his girlfriend on sms. “i always thought i was last person to ever date in our year. turns out it was our ‘shoujo boy’ .”
“mind the word choices!” seokmin sighed, but seungkwan was right. he was running out of time. “anyway, i’ll pack up and head for home for the holidays.”
———
you arrived home from the dorms and you placed presents under the tree for your parents. they unexpectedly asked if you had a boyfriend and you were amazed to find them pouting when you said no.
seeing a memento of you and seokmin in your home got you feeling uneasy, yet willing to start over, to try again.
your golden retriever gizmo greeted you as he spotted you, wagging his tail and jumping you. he clearly missed you and so did you. his face had gotten whiter the more time came, and you decided to spend the whole holidays with him.
so you took him for a walk almost everyday, but as the second week came you woke up to see him gone and would be back by night. it was hard to capture his every move since you would wake up much later.
luckily you got a chance to follow him one cold morning, the snow was filling the streets when you saw him carrying a blanket- yours to be precise. he entered an abandoned building while you quietly trailed his back.
you lost him one minute as you entered, “gizmo, where are you?” you whispered, gradually running when you suddenly collided with a stranger at a blind spot.
the force hit you and you gave out a gasp out of shock, the person you ran into had the same expression as you.
“seokmin?”
“y/n?”
“w-what are you doing here?” he breathe out, cold air coming out of his mouth.
“y-you too.” you sat up. “uh, sorry i bumped into you.”
“it’s okay.” he stood up, reaching his hand out to you. “this is awkward.”
“y-yeah.” you looked away, what was he doing here? “i- i was looking for my dog, i saw him come here.”
seokmin eyes widened, “what? me too!” he approached you. “my golden’s been m.i.a since i came home.”
golden?
“your dog’s a golden too?” you smiled.
“yeah, sunshine’s a gol— wait ‘too’?” he covered his mouth. he thought for a while, and you noticed his cheeks go red. it didn’t take you to realise the same thing.
“don’t you think they-“
“i think so.”
you both ran to look for your dogs to see them cuddled up at a corner with sunshine’s stuffed toy and gizmo’s pillow along with you blanket.
“oh g- sunshine’s pregnant.” seokmin combed his hair. “your dog got my dog pregnant!”
“sneaky blondes.” you covered your mouth.
seokmin knelt beside sunshine, holding her belly as his brows met, “she’s due anytime soon.”
“in a few days?” you sat beside him, making seokmin jump.
“in a few hours.” he sighed, “call our parents.”
———
“as expected from the future vet.” seokmin’s dad said as he brought essentials needed. your parents arriving five minutes later.
“no way you’re gonna deliver puppies?” seungkwan asked in excitement.
“yeah- wait what are you doing here?” seokmin asked the younger boy.
“y/n called me too.” his girlfriend, siyeon; also your close friend, wrapped his arms.
the procedure took more than an hour, gizmo was calm and in other times he whimpered. seeing seokmin so concentrated as his dad guided him throughout the process made your heart beat in nervousness, yet you were so proud because you knew of his plans.
“five males, three females.” seokmin’s dad announced.
you couldn’t help your tears, witnessing this firsthand made you emotional, “eight fluffy puppies. oh my-“
seokmin held you unconsciously, his arms wrapped around you. you didn’t resist, the gesture was sweet, and seokmin was already calming you down with gentle pats on your arm. “yeah, i can’t believe it..”
“yeah i can’t believe your dogs dated each other before you guys got back together.” seungkwan bluntly pointed out, making everyone laugh, “they have more guts than you two.”
“babe, stop that.” siyeon pinched his cheeks.
“yeah,” seokmin looked at you. “i guess they are our christmas angels.”
you missed this, you missed his embrace. “i agree.”
as everyone parted ways, he held your hands to warm them up. “so i was thinking, can we get lunch tomorrow?”
“yeah, i’d like that.” you smiled, your cheeks turning pink.
he gave you a kiss on the temple,
“cool, i’ll pick you up then.”

Old Times Pt 1
heylo! sorry for being so inactive i was a busy girl and i rlly just couldn’t figure out how to continue the fics i started so i just made a whole new one XD anywayz i will get back to those until then ! feedback would be greatly appreciated! thanks for sticking around i love youuuuuuuu
YN climbed out her bedroom window and onto the roof of her house, letting out a small groan when she heard loud yelling downstairs. So much for a peaceful evening.
With a pizza box clutched in one hand and a light blanket in the other, she rushed her way to the front of her house. At first glance, the trek from YN’s bedroom window would seem tricky but she’d grown used to it. Every Thursday night for the past 4 years, YN’s roof had been the designated hang out spot for her and her neighbor. YN could probably do this blindfolded. She quickly set down the blanket and pizza box before lying down on the blanket too, staring up at the setting sky. It was the day before her high school graduation and YN’s body was pounding with emotions. Her nerves were on edge. She couldn’t wait to graduate and was excited for the next chapter of her life but was also anxious about starting college and leaving all her friends behind. Or rather her friends were all leaving her. They’d all chosen out of state schools that were hundreds of miles away while YN had opted for a school that was just a 30 minute drive. At least she still had Shawn. Shawn was her neighbor and she’d been his first new friend when he moved here the summer before their freshmen year. They’d been good friends ever since and although they didn’t hang out at school, being part of different crowds, Shawn and YN talked almost every day, whether it be in person, through text, or by writing on paper and pressing it up to their bedroom windows which were directly across from each other. Shawn had opted to dorm to get the “whole college experience” so YN was comforted by the fact that he’d always be on campus. Perhaps they could even hang out together once school started. Speaking of which, YN checked her phone to see the time. 7:15 PM. Shawn was only 15 minutes late to their standing hangout so YN didn’t think much of it. This was their last hangout as high schoolers and probably their last in a while since they’d be away all summer. YN and her family were going on vacation the first half of summer and Shawn was going on a road trip with his friends for the last half so this was kind of an important one to YN and probably to Shawn too. He was probably just caught up at work and running a little late. YN went back to looking up at the sky and perusing her thoughts. Another 15 minutes passed and it was starting to get chilly. YN walked back to her bedroom window to quickly grab a jacket. Texting Shawn probably would be a good idea too. Walking back to her spot on the front of the roof, YN unlocked her phone and started to type a message when she heard noise coming from her neighbor’s front yard. Shawn’s front yard specifically. He’s here! YN steadily made her way to the front of her house but stopped midway upon hearing multiple voices from Shawn’s yard. “Thanks for the ride man. I’ve been meaning to get my bike fixed.” Shawn yelled out and then YN heard a car door shut. “No problem!” another voice called out while another one yelled “Hurry up and change! We’re already late to the bonfire.” Bonfire? YN quickly ducked down behind the peak of her roof and peered up into Shawn’s yard. There was a truck packed with 3 boys and after a few minutes, Shawn jogged out of his house in swim trunks and a backpack slung over his back. “Your parents cool with you going out with us?” “Yeah.” Shawn shrugged. “It’s not like I had anything else to do today.” YN stayed hidden behind her roof until she was sure that Shawn and his friends had left. She quietly walked back to where she had placed the pizza box and blanket earlier in the evening, picked everything up, and returned to her bedroom. It was just another hangout, YN thought. There really wasn’t anything special about it. They’d been doing this every week for the past 4 years so it should’ve lost its charm but YN couldn’t help but feel hurt.  She pulled her blankets over her frame and shut her eyes. She’ll just call it an early night.
“YN! Honey! Do you have class today?”
YN groggily woke up to the sound of her mother calling from the kitchen downstairs. She let out a tired groan. She’d stayed up late last night to finish an essay but at least she got it done with. Sure she was feeling a bit sleep deprived but as soon as she submitted this essay in class, YN would finally be done with all of the finals from her first year of college.
She blindly reached around her bed to find her phone, letting out another frustrated groan when she heard it fall off her bed and onto the floor. YN tried to unlock her phone...but it wasn’t turning on.
YN cursed under her breath. She must’ve forgotten to charge it last night. YN plugged it into its charger and made her way to her restroom to get ready for school.
“YN! Aren’t you going to be late?”
Late? “What time is it Mom?”
“8:45.”
“FUCK! Why didn’t you wake me up earlier?” YN yelled. Her class started at 9 AM.
Her mother muttered something unintelligible as she scrambled to the sink and hastily brushed her teeth before running back to her room and haphazardly throwing on clothes she found lying around her room before flying down the stairs and running to her car.
YN started the engine and was backing out of her driveway when she noticed her mom running out of the doorway...with YN’s backpack in her arms.
“Thanks Mom.” YN said sheepishly as she rolled down her windows so that her mom could push the backpack in.
Her mom simply laughed, threw out a quick “Love you,” and walked back into the house.
***
45 minutes later, because of course the one time YN had woken up late all year was also the day there was an insane amount of traffic and congestion, YN pulled into the school parking lot and sprinted out and to her class.
YN arrived, out of breath, just as students were beginning to file out of the lecture hall. She’d made it just in time. She could sneak in right now and slip her essay into the pile and everything would be alright.
“YN!” a voice called and she looked up to see her friend Belinda walking over. “Where were you? I’ve been texting you nonstop!”
“Sorry!” YN gasped in between breaths. “My phone died so my alarm didn’t go off. But it’s all good.” YN let out a weak smile and raised the hand that was grasping onto her paper. “Got here just in time to.” But that smile quickly washed off her face when she noticed Belinda’s concerned look.
“YN. He collected the essays at the beginning of class.”
***
YN made her way to the front of the hall where she saw another student deep in conversation with the professor. She took in a deep breathe to calm herself down and prepared what she was going to say. If he just checked her grades on all the other assignments for this class, he’d see that she was a stellar student. Today was just a slight slip up.
“Can I help you?”
She snapped out of her thoughts and saw that the professor and the other student were looking at her. “Uhh...I came late.” YN stuttered, holding up her essay. Very eloquent YN.
“You too?” her professor sighed.
YN’s eyes glanced to the other student and she looked rather frustrated. That didn’t bode well.
“Look, I can’t accept your essays. They were due at the beginning of class and I have a strict no tolerance late work policy.” YN’s face must’ve visibly fallen because her professor quickly laughed. “But...I am in a good mood so you two ladies can collaborate on a presentation responding to the essay prompt. Record the presentation and send it to me by midnight Sunday. How does that sound?”
The two girls nodded their heads in agreement and relief before walking out together.
“How do you want to do this? I’m Zara by the way.”
YN muttered a small sigh of relief. Yes! A partner who would take charge and wouldn’t leave YN to do all the work. She flashed Zara a small smile. “I’m YN! And we should start today. Plan today, film Saturday, and edit Sunday.”
Zara frowned. “I can’t do tonight...I’m having an end of the year party at my place.” she responded simply.
“Oh.” YN deadpanned. So Zara was probably the type to push all the work on YN. “When does it start?”
“7 ish”
“Was this your last class?”
“No. I have class until 12.”
“Same here. Can we meet after 12 and we can finish when you need to get ready for your party?” YN mentally patted herself on the back. There was no way Zara could get out of this.
“Yeah fine.” sighed. “Give me your number. We can meet at my house.”
***
YN pulled into Zara’s driveway where she was quickly rushed into a small room cramped in the very back of the house by the host herself.
“Look I have people coming over later to help me set up so I’ll be in and out a lot to check on them.” Zara said matter of factly as she sat beside YN and pulled out her laptop.
An hour in, a loud commotion came from the front of the house and Zara sprung to her feet to open the door for her friends. YN continued working on the presentation and didn’t notice how long Zara had been away until she was halfway through making the slideshow presentation.
She could hear laughter coming from outside of the room so she figured that she’d slip out quickly to remind Zara they had a presentation to work on. YN creaked the door open and peaked through the crack. She could see people gathered in the kitchen and as soon as she opened the door, YN was met with the aroma of pizza. YN took a few quick breaths to muster up some courage and confidently walked out to confront Zara.
“Uh hey, Zara. I got about halfway done with the presentation but I kinda need your help on it so whenever you’re free.” YN said as she walked into the other girl’s kitchen.
The conversation halted and everyone in the room turned to stare at YN. Suddenly quite self-conscious, YN’s eyes darted away from the others’ gaze and onto the pizza box on the counter.
“Do you want some pizza YN?” a gentle voice asked. A voice that definitely wasn’t Zara’s. A voice that was definitely male.
YN looked up and her face dropped. Standing on the other side of the counter was Shawn Mendes. Her ex-neighbor and ex-friend. The one who bailed on their last hangout. The one she hadn’t spoken a single word to since before their graduation.
“I’m good. Thanks.” YN responded coldly before shifting her body to face Zara. She didn’t have to shift far though since Zara was standing beside Shawn. In fact, his arm was slung around her shoulders. Interesting.
“Just join me when you’re done and I’ll be out of your way.” And with that YN walked back to the room she was in earlier and worked on the presentation with newfound rigor and focus. She just wanted to get out of this place as soon as possible and if that meant finishing without Zara, then so be it.
***
She stayed focused on her laptop screen when YN heard the door creak open. “I’m about done with the presentation so we can wrap this up probably within the hour and-“
“Hi YN.”
YN stopped typing to look up at Shawn who had just closed the door behind him. Now that they were both crammed into this room, YN could see that he’d changed quite a bit since they last saw each other. His hair was longer and curlier. He’d bulked up quite a bit. And...was that a piercing in his ear?
“Zara said you came over as soon as both of you got out of class so I’m assuming you haven’t eaten lunch yet...so I brought you pizza.” Shawn brought a plate out from behind his back and offered it to YN. “It was pepperoni but I know you don’t like that so I picked off all the pepperoni for you.” he added with a smile.
YN stared blankly at the plate and boy in front of her. Once upon a time she probably would’ve appreciated the offer and the fact that Shawn remembered how she liked her pizza but that was the old YN. She’s since changed. “Thanks but I’m not very hungry.” She started typing away and that was the only noise that filled the room for several moments until YN noticed that Shawn was still standing there.
She mustered up a weak smile. “I’m fine. Honest. I don’t really like pizza anyways.”
Shawn’s brows furrowed. “But cheese pizza is your favorite.”
“It WAS my favorite. Things changed.” YN went back to typing, hoping that Shawn got the hint to leave her alone.
Instead, he took a seat beside her. “So…” Shawn started. “Haven’t talked to you in a while.”
YN secretly rolled her eyes and gave a curt nod.
“Probably since the summer. Move in day maybe?”
“Graduation.” she corrected him.
He let out what YN would’ve described as a nervous laugh. “Yeah right. We probably saw each other-“
“No. It was graduation.” she cut in firmly. Or rather it was a couple days before graduation. They hadn’t even spoken to each other during their ceremony. But who was keeping track...Certainly not YN.
“Damn.” he whispered softly.
Another beat of quiet passed.
“How’s life been?”
“Good.”
“Oh...that’s good to hear. Where do you live now?”
“Other side of town.” YN paused before adding “I’m planning on staying with my dad this summer though.”
YN instantly regretted saying that. Saying that she’d be back in her old house this summer. The house that was right next to Shawn’s. It was like she was hoping to get to see Shawn and hang out with him again and that was far from the truth. She wanted to stay as far away from him as possible.
She quickly shut her laptop and rushed to put her belongings back in her backpack. “Look I think I’m gonna head back now. Can you tell Zara that I’ll finish the last few slides at home and we’ll text to meet tomorrow to film.”
“Wait-you’re not staying for the party?”
YN let out a quick laugh and shook her head. “Not really my thing. And I don’t really know Zara so I’d feel weird.”
“You know me though.”
She flashed Shawn a weird look, trying to get a read on if Shawn was being serious or not. They haven’t exchanged a single word in the past year and he was acting as if nothing had changed between them. As if they were still friends and neighbors.
“I’m good.” she smiled. YN walked out, muttered her goodbyes to Zara and her other friends who were all laughing at some joke, and got into her car.
***
It was now Saturday morning and Zara was expected to come over any moment now. YN finished up the slides last night and they both agreed to film at YN’s house since Zara’s place was probably a mess from the party last night.
She’d just finished setting up the mic when she heard a car pull up in her driveway.  YN peeked her head into the kitchen where her mother was cooking to announce that her partner was here and ask if she could open the door while YN ran to the restroom really quickly. When YN returned, she was shocked to see her mom and Zara sitting in the living room...with Shawn.
“YN! Oh great! You won’t believe who dropped Zara off. It’s been a while since I last saw you huh Shawn.”
She snapped out of her daze and sat beside her mom on the couch across from Zara and Shawn. “Yeah uh hi guys.”
“So do you guys see each other a lot at school?” her mother innocently asked.
“No. Not really.” YN answered in monotone.
“Yeah I guess we’ve just been busy. And it’s a big campus.” Shawn answered with a bit more inflection.
YN couldn’t help but let out a bitter laugh, which pulled a frown from both her mom and Shawn.
“Anyways...I should get going. I just came to drop Zara off” he said before turning to Zara. “Text me when you’re about done.”
“Oh why don’t you stay and we can catch up Shawn! YN said the recording shouldn’t take more than an hour. It’ll save you the trip.”
Zara’s expression perked up at the suggestion and YN practically twisted her neck to shoot her mom a look that expressed “No. Why?”
“Uh if that’s fine with you that’d be great.” Shawn smiled.
“Great! I’ll get some snacks for you kids!” YN’s mom bustled out of the living room to grab whatever she could find in the kitchen, leaving YN, Shawn, and Zara alone.
After a couple seconds of the 3 of them just sitting there and staring at each other, Zara broke the silence. “So let’s hurry this up.”
YN and Zara worked quickly in another room while Shawn and her mom caught up in the living room. The loud laughter and conversation from the room did very little to distract the girls from recording. YN figured they were both eager to wrap up quickly and go on with their Saturday plans. After all, it was supposed to be summer break. Shawn and Zara were dressed to go to the beach or a pool party and YN had a date with her bed and Netflix.
“Okie I think that’s good. We just have to edit and then we’re done.” Zara declared confidently.
“Editing shouldn’t take too long either. Great job! How do you want editing to go? We can meet up or you edit one half and I edit the other half?”
“I don’t think we should split up the editing. It’ll just look and sound weird.”
YN nodded. “Good point. What time are you free tomorrow?”
Zara frowned. “The thing is...I’m not free tomorrow. I’m flying back home at 11 AM. And it’s a 6 hour flight.”
“Oh.” YN’s mind raced with ideas to work this out because there is no way in hell that she’d be editing this all by herself again. “Why don’t you just stay behind a bit. And we can edit together.”
“Shawn and I actually have plans.”
YN let out a frustrated sigh. She was really done with this and just wanted Shawn and Zara out of her house. “Fine. How about I finish editing today and then I’ll send it to you and you look over it before your flight?”
Her partner’s face instantly lit up at the suggestion. “Great! Look at us! Teamwork makes the dream work.” Zara picked up her laptop and made her way back to the living room with YN following in defeat.
“Done?” Shawn asked when he saw the two girls enter the room.
“Yep! YN just has to edit!” Zara answered excitedly as she slid into the seat beside Shawn.
Shawn flashed YN a smile to acknowledge her presence and noted her sullen expression. “Err Zara...are you editing too?”
“No. I have my flight tomorrow remember? YN is going to do it and then I’ll look over it before we turn it in. You wanna go now?”
He looked back at YN with concern. “Zara why don’t you stay and help edit for a while. We still got time and I’m still talking with Mrs…” Shawn’s eyes widened when he caught his mistake. “Sorry I mean Miss…”
YN’s mother simply laughed. “It’s alright Shawn! Just call me by my first name. We can skip all the formalities love.”
Shawn nodded and reverted his attention back to his girlfriend. “How does that sound?”
Zara shot Shawn a cold glare and begrudgingly got back up to help YN edit.
One hour later, the girls finished editing and decided to submit the assignment early just to get it over with. Zara returned to the living room with a smile, knowing that this time she and Shawn were definitely leaving.
“What are your plans for today?” YN’s mom inquired as she walked their guests to the door.
“We’re going to the beach today with some friends!” Zara responded with a smile.
“Oh that sounds nice! Have fun dears.” YN’s mom closed the door behind her and and then turned to YN.
“You going to ever tell me what happened between you and Shawn?” she asked with a raised brow.
“It’s nothing. We just stopped talking.”
“Mhm...well I hope you’re not busy today. I’m going to need you to run by the the farmer’s market to buy some food.”

pepper partners
part 2/?
word count: 2162
genre: fluff
pairing: reader x johnny (minor ten x jaehyun on the side)
summary: you weren’t planning on joining your high school’s co-ed volleyball team, but when you find out the one and only johnny seo is playing, you can’t help but be grateful ten was able to convince you to join after all.
~~~
the week goes by fairly quickly--you practice on monday and wednesday mornings and play games with the other co-ed teams every friday after school. on tuesday afternoon, you have your weekly "study session" (which usually involves less studying and more netflix watching and gossiping) with ten and lisa. the hangout this week is hosted at ten's, and although you bring your physics textbook with you, you already know it's going to end up untouched for the next few hours. the three of you spend the night watching "to all the boys i've loved before" and having random casual conversations.
"ooh, y/n, how's your english essay coming along??" ten asks you.
"well, it's due next wednesday and... i haven't started," you reply sheepishly.
"WHAT?!? y/n, it was assigned like a month ago!" lisa pipes in.
"ugh guys, i KNOW!" you groan in frustration. "i just don't know what to write about! you know english isn't my strongest subject...i feel like i need like, a tutor or something."
ten goes quiet for a moment, thinking, then you see a playful smirk grow on his face.
"i know that look.... what are you thinking..." you ask.
"oh nothing, nothing at all y/n, just the fact that jaehyun mentioned to me today that a certain boy *cough* johnny *cough* in our english class just happens at the top of the class and is really smart, that's all."
"oh." is all you can say as your cheeks erupt in a bright blush.
"oh my gosh y/n, you're so obvious." lisa rolls her eyes at you. "you should ask him to help you though! then you'll get to spend some quality one-on-one time with him!"
"no! You guys, i hardly know him! I don't want to be weird." you whine. ten and lisa exchange a look.
"okay fine, but i can't help if i accidentally mention to jae that you need help." ten says, sipping his tea.
"you guys are impossible," you say, rolling your eyes and then picking up the remote to choose another movie to watch.
by the time the movie finishes, you realize you don't even know what it was about; your thoughts had been occupied by daydreams of johnny helping you out with your essay, alone in your room, perhaps brushing hands once in a while or exchanging shy looks, maybe you're sitting together, really close, and he locks eyes with you, leaning in slowly and-
"helloooo, earth to y/n, do you want a ride home or not?" ten asks, jangling his car keys in front of your face.
"oh yeah, uh, sure." you respond, your fantasies sadly replaced with reality. ten drives you and lisa home with promises to pick you both up early in the morning for practice. you know waking up early won't be an issue from now on, knowing that you'll get to see johnny again in just a few hours.
***
walking into the gym again, you find yourself scanning the court for johnny--although he's not hard to find, being the tallest person there. he catches your eye from where he's sitting on the floor stretching with jaehyun and waves, flashing you a bright smile. you smile and wave back, a warm tingly rush filling your body.
"oh y/n, you are WHIPPED for that boy!" ten says, patting you on the head. You swat his hand away in faux annoyance.
"i'm gonna go warm up with rose, see you guys later!" lisa says as she leaves to join the other girl, who is stretching alone in the corner, looking around awkwardly but face lighting up at lisa's approach.
"come on y/n, jae's waving us over to go stretch with them--maybe his shirt will ride up and i'll get to see his abs..." ten says, pulling you over in the boys' direction.
ten and jaehyun make (flirty) conversation as they stretch, while you and johnny stretch in silence. you try really hard to not stare at johnny's arm muscles, but you fail miserably. luckily ten is too busy chatting up jaehyun to notice your pitiful staring.
"man, those two really hit it off, eh?" johnny says in a hushed voice to you.
"ugh, i know right? It's like they've known each other for years! like, we, their BEST FRIENDS, are sitting right here!  when they're with each other, it's like there's no one else in the world," you comment, watching the pair chat happily, never taking their eyes off each other.
"must be nice," johnny mumbles, looking down at the hardwood floor. "i'd love to have someone like that, someone you just click with, someone you can talk to about anything and everything for hours, you know?" he says, bringing his head up and gazing into your eyes.
"i--y-yeah, that would be really nice. i'd love to find someone like that, but sometimes i'm worried there's no one out there for me, you know?"
"y/n, i think there's someone out there for everyone, and there's DEFINITELY someone out there for you. i mean look at you--i'm surprised you don't have more people falling head over heels for you."
it's at this moment that coach lee blows the whistle, and you couldn't be more grateful for the interruption--you have absolutely no idea how to respond to johnny's comment, but you know your cheeks are giving your internal screaming away because ten gives you a pointed look. coach lee tells you to play pepper as a warmup, mentioning that from now on you can just move straight into pepper every practice to warm up without his instruction. he blows the whistle again, and everyone disperses, frantically scrambling for their partners.
"hey y/n, let's go! i mean, as long as you still wanna be my pepper partner, i'd totally understand if you-"
"johnny, of course i still wanna be your pepper partner--i mean, we can always be partners if you want,” you reply.
"pinky promise?" he says, holding up his little finger.
"pinky promise." you reach up and lock pinkies with him, trying not to squeal at his touch. he grabs a ball, and once again you warm up together, the promise of being pepper partners forever sparking a new excitement in you.
***
practice ends, you say goodbye to johnny, and the week continues as usual. ten and lisa continually poke and prod at you to ask johnny for help on your essay, but you refuse, saying you aren't close enough yet and besides, you don't even have his number. soon enough, friday comes around, and you couldn't be more excited. the school day seems to drag on forever, and when the bell finally rings, you bolt to the changerooms with lisa chasing after you. you and her end up being the first ones in the gym, so coach lee asks you to help set up the net.
you're trying to loop the top rope of the net over one of the poles, but despite your best efforts, you just can't quite reach. you're about to call lisa over for help (ten is too short and is also talking to jaehyun, so any attempt to get his attention isfutile) when you feel a body press against you lightly as arms reach over your head, taking the rope and setting up the net for you. you turn around to face johnny--or rather, johnny's chest. the proximity has your heart racing.
"sorry, i couldn't help but notice you needed help--i didn't mean to do your job for you, i'm sure you're fully capable of setting up a net, but you're also kind of a pipsqueak." johnny says with a small laugh as he backs up a bit.
"hey, i'm only like 3 inches shorter than you, and you're a giant! I'm still tall!!
"okay, whatever you say, pipsqueak," johnny says, his eyes creasing as a huge grin appears on his face. you feign being upset, sticking your tongue out at him.
"we'll see who the pipsqueak is when my team destroys yours today," you respond.
"hah! I'd like to see you try. let's make a bet--whichever of us loses the game has to buy the winner snacks at the movies tonight." johnny challenges, sticking his hand out towards you.
"deal. i hope your wallet's ready to buy me some popcorn," you say as you shake his hand, accepting the challenge.
"oh, we'll see who's buying who popcorn," johnny says. "good luck--you'll need it" he grins, walking away to join his team. you turn to look for yours, spotting taeyong waving you over, and you can't wait to see the look on johnny's face when you beat him.
***
the games go by fairly quickly--you started at 3 pm, and each game was only best 2/3, so all 3 games were finished by 5 pm (luckily they didn't go much longer, or else you might've been late to the movies). first, your team, dubbed neo culture team by taeyong (or ncteam for short), was up against the team of juniors, or the dream team as they were called. as good as they were for a bunch of grade 9s and 10s, your team defeated them easily. next, johnny's team, simply called team daebak, played the dream team--once again, winning with no problem. despite losing twice in a row, the dream team was still just happy to be playing and learning from their seniors. finally, the time came to play johnny's team. since both of you played middle, there were times you'd be facing off against each other--you'll never forget johnny's look of shock and amazement when you blocked him, the roars of your team cheering you on hyping you up even more. in then end, your team pulled ahead and won--although it was a close game, with the final set ending up 25-23. you line up and shake hands with team daebak, winking at johnny as you pass him in the line.
ten ushers you out of the gym, calling to jaehyun and johnny that he'd pick them up at 6 after you all shower and get ready. he drives you home, parking in your driveway and coming inside with you. ten promised to help you choose a cute outfit for the movies tonight--although t's not a date, you keep reminding yourself, no matter how much ten insists it is.
you hop out of the shower, drying your hair as fast as you can, and your towel-clad self walks into your room to find ten digging through your closet, a small pile of clothes on the bed.
"okay i picked out a few options, so let's do a stereotypical movie scene where you try them on and i rate your looks--even though you look spicy in anything." ten says, throwing you the first outfit. you sigh and shake your head at your best friend, grateful he was willing to help you out.
you end up settling for a simple outfit, comprised of some ripped high waisted skinny jeans, a cute crop top (not super cropped, just enough that some skin is exposed, which ten says is crucial to helping make johnny fall for you), some boots, and a light jacket all finished with your favourite necklace.
"oh my god y/n, you look so good!! If johnny isn't already head over heels for you, he will be after tonight. i'm gonna shower real quick while you finish getting ready, then we'll go pick up our boys." ten says before hopping into the shower, leaving you alone in your room. you admire yourself in the mirror (your butt really does look great in these jeans, ten wasn't lying) and can't help but smile, feeling really good about yourself. even though it's technically not a date for you and johnny, you really do want to look your best for him, and you feel super cute in the outfit ten chose.
you finish getting ready and ten doesn't take long to get dressed--he's had his outfit planned since monday night, he tells you--so you two wave goodbye to your mom and hop in the car, ready to go. you go to sit in your usual spot in shotgun, but ten shoos you into the backseat.
"sorry, shotgun's reserved for jaehyun tonight. don't worry, you'll get to sit in the back with johnny. oh, and don't mind the boxes that conveniently take up one seat leaving only two in the back of my small car for your guys to sit!" ten says with an innocent smile.
"god, you're such an idiot ten. what would i do without you," you smile and say to him, appreciative (and slightly embarrassed) by his efforts. you pull out of your driveway, and the nerves finally begin to hit you as the realization that you are about to go on a "date" with the one and only johnny seo, captain of team daebak (and the senior boys’ volleyball team) and, more importantly, your pepper partner.
~~~
i really hope you guys liked part 2!! i’m not sure how often i’ll be able to update but i’ll try my best! of course please please let me know your thoughts on everything, next part will be the movies!! yay!! <3 stay tuned for more

what is love?
Tumblr media
genre: angst? fluff and uh smut // college!au
word count: 9.3k this is the most ive ever written and i finished it in under a week when i should be revising
Everyone knew university exams were some one of the most stressful things but having to work on an assignment with a frat boy was even worse. Like yeah, you’d seen them around at their parties but you mainly went to get wasted and forget about school. “I want your assignment on what love is to be around 3000 words long, it’s not due for three months because you’ll need to carry out your own research for this assignment.” “I don’t understand why we’re doing an assignment on love for English, and we have to do research too; what are we; science majors?” some guy complained in the back. “That is because half of you write about love and romance but don’t actually seem to know what it’s all about.” the lecturer replied. “Oh.” “Anyway, everyone pair up and get to it!” You panicked, none of your friends took English with you and 90% of the class has already paired up, leaving you with Jeon Jungkook, Park Jimin or Kim Taehyung. Jungkook seemed like the lesser of the three evils so you made your way towards him. “Have you got a partner?” you awkwardly asked him. “Nope, you wanna be mine?” he nonchalantly replied, despite never having spoken to you. “Yeah, uh, here’s my number in case you need me for the assignment. I’ll do my half and you do your half.” “We should really figure out what those halves are.” “Oh yeah, sorry. I have another class to get to but just text me when you’re free, I guess.” you told him before leaving the lecture theatre.
“Yo Jungkook got that hot girl as his partner!” Jimin teased. “Not the point. I actually wanna do well, this is like 50% of our final grade.” he muttered as he was packing his bags. “Yeah, but hot girl? You could get laid!” Taehyung laughed. “Dude, I get laid anyway. Have you met me?” he smirked. “True, I see all those girls he brings back; there’s a new one every weekend!” Jimin stated. “Anyway, let’s get back we have a party tonight!” he added.
[3:26pm] (Unknown) Hey, about that assignment; do you wanna do half research half essay each?
[3:28pm] You: that sounds good
[3:28pm] (Jungkook) btw there’s a party at my frat house tonight so come if you wanna forget about school
[3:29pm] You: am i allowed to bring people? i usually do
[3:29pm] (Jungkook) go for it, i’ll see you tonight ;)
What was with the winky face? Seriously, having a frat boy as your partner was gonna be something you regretted. “Lexi, frat party tonight.” “Which frat?” “Uh, maybe, the only frat whose parties we go to?” you sarcastically replied. “Okay, okay. Just making sure. Are you gonna doll up for once? You haven’t since freshman year.” “It’s a frat party. There’s no one I plan on trying to impress. I just wanna get pissed.” you replied. “___, you haven’t gotten laid since like six months ago.” “Yeah? And?” “Get back out there!” “I don’t want to have a one night stand, if that’s what you mean.” “It was just a suggestion.” she laughed as she turned her attention back to the lecturer.
“Hot girl from English is coming?” Jimin yelled. “Her name’s  ___. You’d know if you paid attention when we all had to introduce ourselves.” Jungkook replied whilst rolling his eyes. “Yeah, but who would pay attention with all these girls in English?” “You’re such a frat boy.” Yoongi chuckled. “Isn’t that what we all are?” he mumbled. “Yeah, but we’re not as fratty as you.” Namjoon teased. “Jungkook is!” “No, Jungkook just gets around.” Namjoon stated. “Guys, why are we even talking about this?” Jungkook whined. “Because hot girl is coming!” “___ is her name but yeah, what’s the big deal? She always comes.” “How do you know that?” Taehyung asked him. “I’ve seen her at all our parties with her little circle of friends which Yoongi seems close to too.” “Oh, yeah, ___’s a good friend of mine. We kinda grew up together.” “You never told me you knew hot girl!” Jimin complained. “Jimin, I had no idea who you meant by hot girl. Besides, not like I’d want you to get into her pants. She’s like a sister to me so none of you fuck about with her, okay?” “Why not me? I’m a nice guy!” “Yeah, but not boyfriend nice. You’re fuckboy nice.” “Your compliments hurt me.” “That’s what I’m here for!”
“___, help me zip up my dress?” Lexi shouted from the bathroom. “Girl, who are you trying to impress?” “Remember that really pretty girl we saw last week? She’s gay, I’m gay?” “How can you be so sure she’s gay?” “I found out through people!” “You’re such a creep sometimes.” you joked after stepping away after zipping up the dress. “___, a girl has needs. Also, is that what you’re wearing?” “Yeah? Are my sweater and jeans making you uncomfortable?” you laughed as you walked away. “Can’t you wear something a bit more fun? For me?” “You’re the one tryna get that girl, not me!” “Please? I wanna look cute with my best friend!” “Ugh, fine. But this is for you and not for a frat boy to get into my pants.” “Of course.” You went rummaging through your closet to find something that would fit the vibe that Lexi was going for and settled on a two piece outfit, consisting of a bandeau top and matching pencil skirt. “Ooh, now we’re talking! Man, if I saw you as a girl I’d be trying to impress you instead of this other girl.” “Thanks?” “Seriously. You look good.” “Let’s go then.”
[8:34pm] (Jungkook) you here?
[8:35pm] You: yeah, with Yoongi and co
[8:35pm] (Jungkook) i can’t find you guys with all these people here
[8:36pm] You: why so keen on finding me?
[8:36pm] (Jungkook): just wanna get to know you a bit better since we’ll be working together for three months
[8:37pm] You: okay, we’re on the sofas
“___, who the hell are you texting?” Yoongi teased. “Why do you care?” you joked. “Suspicious.” Lexi stated. “Go impress that girl!” you told her. “I will! Just when she’s free…” “That’s not how you slide.” “How do you slide then, Yoongi?” “Just interrupt.” “Yeah, Yoongi, that’s actually rude.” you teased. “Works for me.” he shrugged as he took a sip from his plastic red cup. “___!” a voice called, causing your little group to turn their heads. “Heya.” you smiled as you shuffled over to make space for Jungkook, consequently squishing Yoongi slightly. “Is this who you were texting? One of my frat bros?” “Don’t call them that ever again.” Lexi complained. “Okay, okay. But was it?” he whispered into your ear to which you nodded. “Anyway, do you know everyone who’s sat here?” you asked Jungkook; the alcohol in your system was given you so much more confidence. “Yeah, I know everyone. I don’t run around calling people hot girl or anything.” Jungkook joked, causing Yoongi to chuckle slightly. “Okay, I need another drink. Anyone else?” to your surprise almost all six of your friends nodded. “Uh, can someone held me get the drinks?” “I’ll help.” Jungkook offered.
“You know, I’ve heard a lot about you.” you told Jungkook as you entered the kitchen. “Good or bad?” “Bit of both, but you’re different to most frat guys I know. You get around but you’re not like fratty.” you laughed. “Doesn’t everyone get around?” “I don’t, it’s not my thing.” “Ah, so like, when did you last get laid?” he asked as he mixed the last drink. “Good six months ago but yeah.” “Are you the type that has to be in love or something?” “Not in love, but dating.” you smiled as you grabbed four cups and walked out of the door. “Hey, Jungkook!” someone called before he could follow you with the remaining cups. “What’s up, Tae?” “How’s trying to get into hot girl’ pants?” he teased as he poked at Jungkook’s side. “I’m not trying to get into her pants.” he sighed as he walked out of the kitchen. “Sure, you’re not!” Taehyung screamed afterwards but his voice wasn’t audible above the music.
“Sorry, I got held back a bit.” Jungkook smiled as he passed around the drinks. “With what?” you asked as you took a sip of the coke and vodka mix. “Taehyung.” he said after sitting to your left. “He bugging you about that thing from before? Hot girl?” Yoongi asked, his left arm was on the back of the sofa; welcoming everyone but also protecting you. It was a subconscious thing he did, since he was a year older and decided if anyone fucked you oher he’d fuck them up. “Yeah, I mean, hot girl or not? I’m not trying to get into anyone’s pants!” he complained, giving no context. “Okay, uh, I don’t know who you mean by “hot girl” but just, uh, don’t fuck her over?” you told him as you turned to make conversation with someone else. Whilst you weren’t paying attention Jungkook and Yoongi has a conversation of their own about hot girl, whoever she was. The seemed so interested in her.
Hours later, the party was starting to die down and you were about to pass out. Lexi had left with the pretty girl she wanted to get with; Yoongi had gone to his room and everyone else had spread out elsewhere, leaving you and Jungkook. “___, let’s get you back to your room.” Jungkook said as he struggled to get your attention but you shook your head. “___, you can’t stay here. There’s still people around. Let me take you home.” he said but you had your head on his shoulder and we’re about to fall asleep. “Fuck. ___.” he muttered under his breath; he was trying to figure out what to do with you. “Help me, please, you can stay in my room. C’mon babe, stand up.” he spoke as he helped you up. “This is hopeless.” he muttered. “Okay, uh, I’m gonna carry you.” he told you before he lifted your body - bridal style - and carried you into his bedroom. He took off your shoes and considered changing you but thought that he better not, you weren’t that close or dating. He covered you with his duvet and closed the door behind him when left to go back to the party.
The next morning you woke up with a banging headache, in the same clothes you were in the night before, and in a foreign room. “Did I...sleep with someone? No, I wouldn’t be in these...right?” you asked yourself as you looked around for a sign of life. Sadly, there was none; so you sat up and looked around for a while. Afterwards you grabbed your shoes and looked around for you phone but failing to find it you opened the door and realised where you were. “Why am I still here?” you muttered before walking down the stairs of the frat house. “Where is that phone?” you mumbled as you stumbled around looking for it. “This phone?” Yoongi chuckled as he handed you your phone. “Why am I still here?” “I don’t know.” he shrugged before he went back to cleaning up the remains of last night. “You really don’t know? I woke up in some random room and was so confused.” you told him as you helped him clean up. “Which room?” “The one at the top of the stairs.” “That’s Jungkook’s room. Wait, nothing happened, right?” “I don’t think so, I mean I woke up with these still on so I don’t dont think anything happened.” “Where is that boy anyway?” “I know as much as you do.”
“Hey, Jimin, where’s Kook?” Yoongi asked when he entered the kitchen. “Kook? Last time I checked he was asleep in the couch.” “Jimin, he’s not there.” “Well, go find him then. I don’t know where that kid is either.” he mumbled. “You’re annoying when you’re hungover and horny. You didn’t get laid, did you?” he teased before making his way back to you. “No sign of the fucker.” “Call him?” you suggested. “You call him! You have his number.” “Don’t you?” “Not saved.” “Fine.”
“Hello?” Jungkook asked. “Hi, Jungkook. Where are you? Everyone here’s kinda wondering where you’ve disappeared to.” “Oh, I just popped into the store. I’ll be back soon.”
“He went to the store.” you told Yoongi who seemed indifferent about the knowledge. “I just wanna know what you were doing in his bed. I swear I’ll fuck him up if he did anything to you.” “Let’s not get ahead of ourselves.” you chuckled before making your way into the kitchen to grab something to eat. “Wow, your fridge has been emptied. No wonder he went to the store.” you spoke to yourself. “___!” Jimin cheered. “Can I help you?” “Nope, I just can’t believe you fucked Jungkook.” “Here’s the thing, I didn’t. Did he tell you that?” “Nah, I just assumed since I saw that you were in his room last night.” “You’re the frattiest out of them all.” “You barely even know me.” Jimin pouted. “Exactly.” you smiled before jumping on the island in the kitchen to sit on it. “Are you interested in him? I mean, you did ask him to be your partner.” “For the assignment, yeah. It’s not that deep, Jimin.” “You came to the party?” “I come to every party.” “Okay, okay. But if you get together you owe me like 10 bucks.” he was pushing your competitive side but you didn’t want to step down and imply that you were weak. “Okay, and if we don’t, you owe me 10 bucks.” “How long?” “Three months, today, so like June 4.” “Deal.” It was quite strange how comfortable you felt around everyone in the fraternity; you realised most rumours weren’t true and they were just genuinely sweet people who just kind of got around. But it probably helped that you were interacting with people whilst drunk last night.
“Hey, guys. I have food!” Jungkook smiled as he entered the kitchen; he was surprised when he noticed you on the island. “Food!” you squealed as you pulled the bag he placed on the island towards yourself. “Yeah, I picked some up on the way ‘cuz I figured no one would wanna cook.” he told. “This is my favourite kind of breakfast.” you smiled as you held the pancakes close to you. “Jesus, ___, why don’t you date them?” Yoongi chuckled when he entered the kitchen, presumably for a coffee. “Maybe I will.” you pouted as you hopped down. Breakfast was filled with a lot of joking and reminiscing the night before, different frat boys would make their way in and out of the kitchen but yourself, Jungkook, Yoongi and Jimin stayed the whole time. “Oh, by the way, what was ___ doing in your room last night?” Yoongi asked. “Oh, uh, well, she started to seem really sleepy and I wanted to take her to her room but she wouldn’t budged and I remembered that I don’t even know where her room is so I let her stay in my bed while I slept downstairs after the party died.” “What a gentleman!” Jimin smirked as sent looks your way. “Thanks Jungkook.” “Don’t worry about it.” “___ is off limits one night stand wise! Do not fuck with her! Or you fuck with me!” Yoongi suddenly but jokingly said. “What if one of us fell in love with her?” Jimin joked but you knew he was trying to push something. “That’s okay but don’t hurt her.” “Wow, you’d just give me over to one of your frat bros like that?” “Hey, if you both love each other who am I to stop you?” he chuckled before taking the last sip of his black coffee. “He’s got a point.” Jimin laughed. “Wait, isn’t our assignment on what love is? We really should do research on that, like what people think it is.” you told Jungkook. “It’s due in three months, don’t sweat it, babe.” he chuckled. “You want a good grade as well, right?” “Of course! Well start next week then.”
It was around 4pm when you finally made it back to your dorm room, where Lexi had been waiting for you since 12pm. “Where have you been?” she complained when you entered the room. “I was at the frat house.” you told her. “What? Did you fuck someone?” “Nope, I passed out there.” “Until now?” “Well, I woke up and chilled with them and then I came here.” you explained as you looked for clothes to change into. “Okay? Anyway, that girl wow, we had such a good time. We didn’t fuck but like we had such a good time. Her name is Skyla and we just spoke all night long in the corner of the party and we exchanged numbers so I think we’ll be going on a date soon!” she squealed as she held her phone close to her chest. “Damn, look at my best friend go!” you smiled before going to shower and change into something that you hadn’t been wearing for longer than necessary. Whilst you were in the shower there was a sudden knock on the door. “Who the fuck?” Lexi muttered to herself before lazily making her way towards the door. There was another knock before she opened the door. “Can I help y- Jungkook?” “Lexi! Is ___ here?” “She’s in the shower.” “Oh, well give her this. She forgot it at ours.” “Her phone? She forgot her phone? What did she do on the way home…?” “She was talking to us, we walked her over. I only noticed her phone when we got back. Anyway, I’ll get going.” he smiled before leaving. When you reappeared in front of Lexi she yelled “___, your boyfriend dropped off your phone.” “I don’t have a boyfriend?” “Okay, Jungkook.” “What makes you think I’m interested in him or vise versa?” you chuckled. “Well, you were kind of all over that guy last night. Yoongi disappeared and you two just started talking and seemed really intimate. I don’t know what else happened because I went and got myself a Jungkook. Oh, also, he came back just to give you your phone so.” “Lexi, it’s a phone. What else was I going to do if he didn’t come and give me it?” “Hey, you’re not denying what happened last night!” “That’s because I barely remember that.” you sighed as you laid down.
[4:58pm] You: thx for dropping off my phone
[5:00pm] (Jungkook) No problem sweetheart
[5:03pm] You: we still need to start that assignment…
[5:03pm] (Jungkook) you said Monday so until then don’t even mention it :D
[5:04pm] You: make me :)
[5:05pm] (Jungkook) is that an invitation?
[5:05pm] You: up to your interpretation
“You’re texting your boyfriend, aren’t you?” Lexi teased. “Don’t you have Skyla to talk to?” you retaliated. “She’s at work.” she pouted, making you laugh slightly. “Is my misfortune funny to you?” “Somewhat.” “Whatever, just talk to your boyfriend!” “He’s not my boyfriend!” It wasn’t a lie that Jungkook wasn’t your boyfriend but everyone had come up with this idea of you liking Jungkook or the other way round and you had no idea where it stemmed from. Yeah, Jungkook was attractive, there was no denying that, and you got along but dating him? It just didn’t seem realistic.
“Okay, we need to get this started!” you told Jungkook as you opened up your laptop. “Let’s start off with stating our personal perceptions of love.” you added afterwards. “Love? Does it have to be romantic?” Jungkook asked before taking the laptop from you. “Up to you.” you told him. “Okay, just don’t read what I say yet.” “No, I won’t. I wanna write these and compare it to what we write in three months time.” you told him before diverting your attention elsewhere. Jungkook spent about thirty minutes writing on your laptop, getting stuck and not being able to find the right words every now and then but he got there in the end. “I’m done.” he smiled. “Cool. Let’s get some other opinions up in here.” you laughed. “We’ll do it another day. Let’s just hang out for the rest of the day, ___.” Jungkook pouted. “What would that include?” you asked, intrigued by his idea. “Let’s go on a drive. We’ll blast some old songs and just see where the road takes us.” he smiled. “Okay, as long as I’m back by midnight. I like my sleep.” “I gotcha, babe.” His pet names never went unnoticed by you but you chose to not acknowledge them or give them any unnecessary meaning but they were seriously growing on you. But still, the two of you dating? You weren’t so sure. “You know, you only did half an hour of work today?” you laughed as you got into Jungkook’s car. “I went to the lecture, ___.” “So did I but you were sleeping.” “How did you know…” “Jungkook, we sit on the same row.” you blankly replied. “Fine, I’ll just do more tomorrow. Also just connect your phone to the bluetooth. Play whatever, I don’t mind.” “Okay, I’ll play All Star.” “Wow, you’re perfect.” he muttered. “What?” “Nothing, I said it’s perfect.” It was safe to say that Jungkook had a crush on you, he had one since before he even knew you properly. He was so shocked when you asked to be his assignment partner, this was finally his chance. He had been flirting with you, well calling you pet names, but you seemed unfazed by it all, he was losing hope.
Your drive led you to the prettiest little places where the two of you took a bunch of photos of the scenery and well, each other. This may have been platonic but it sure as hell felt like a date to the both of you. “It’s nice out here.” Jungkook sighed. “Agreed. We should come back here some time.” you suggested. “Not a bad idea, but you told me you wanna be back before midnight so let me take you home, babe.” “Is it seriously already 11?” you whined. “I’m afraid so.” he chuckled as he wrapped his arm around your shoulders and walked you back to his car. “I really don’t wanna go back.” you told him before running back to the spot you to were in before, he ran after you without a thought and because he was much faster and stronger, as soon as he caught you he lifted you over his shoulder and took you to his car. “Don’t make me do that again. I’ve known you properly for like four days and I’ve carried you twice.” “Twice?” you asked when he placed you down. “How do you think you got to my room when you slept there?” he chuckled. “Get in, sweetheart.” How you got to Jungkook’s room was never something you questioned, yeah, you questioned why you were there but never how. You had assumed you were walked up by someone; you didn’t realise Jungkook, who had only known you for a few hours, had carried you up there. “Something on your mine?” Jungkook asked when he noticed you in some sort of trance. “No, just hungry.” “Let’s go grab a bite then, we’re basically by your room anyway.” he suggested. “Yeah, that sounds good.” you smiled.
“Two hamburgers and fries, please. You want a drink?” Jungkook asked. “Yeah, please.” you told him without sparing him a glance. You were updating Lexi on your whereabouts since she had started to get worried, you were never out past 9 on a Monday and it was almost 12 now. “To go?” the worker asked. “Yeah, please.” “Here’s the money, Jungkook.” you said as you handed him the sum of your half of the bill. “I’ll pay, don’t worry.” “Okay, but I’m paying next time.” “If you say so, but that means I’m gonna eat as much as possible.” “You’re the worst.” A few minutes later, Jungkook and you walked back towards his car and he drove you back to your room. “Well, I’ll see you tomorrow. 2pm.” Jungkook smiled when he got out of the car. “You got it!”
“Dude, why were you out so late?” Lexi whined when you entered. “It starting to feel like every time I enter this room you complain to me.” you laughed. “You’re never out late on a Monday though.” “I was with Jungkook.” you told her before eating some of the fries in your bag. “Oh, you were with your man, I see.” she smirked. “It was nothing like that.” “So, you weren’t laid?” “Nah, we just hung out.” “Oh, okay. Boring.” she joked. “Yeah, but have you been laid yet?” “Nope, but I have a date at 7pm tomorrow.” “Lucky.” you muttered. “Why don’t you go on one?” “Who the hell would go on a date with me?” you laughed. “Jungkook.” she genuinely replied. “No way, the guy who’s in a frat?” you laughed but you were starting to consider it. “Yes way. You’re clearly into each other, well, that’s the vibe I got from the party.” Lexi said as she grabbed some fries. “Um, excuse me?” “Yeah, you were so flirty and basically eye fucking each other.” “I was talking about my stolen fries.” “Oh, well, they’re gone now. But seriously, do you have a thing for your frat boy assignment partner?” “I mean, he has a nice face.” “___.” “I don’t know, man. I’ve known him for a few days. Ask me again in a month.”
And just like that a month had passed. Jungkook and you had met very frequently, every other day actually; you both also saw each other at the frat parties every Friday night and tonight was no different. “___, where’s my really cute dress?” Lexi asked. “Which one? You have so many.” “Uh, the red- You’re wearing it!” she complained. “I can’t even be mad though because you look really cute in it.” “Well, you can wear it instead; I’m sure I’ll find something.” “No, it’s fine. You need to get Jungkook’s attention, I already have a partner secured so.” “I do not need to get his attention. Especially like this!” you told her. “Okay, so why else are you wearing my cute dress when last week you appeared in sweats.” “I just wanna doll up a little bit.” you mumbled. “Oh, by the way, he still seemed really into you when you were wearing the sweats.” “He was?” “Ha! You do want his attention!” “Okay, yeah, keep it down. Isn’t a bit of flirting allowed?” you retaliated. “___, he’s so into you; just get on that!” “No, I wanna figure my feelings out. I wanna make sure it’s not just lust like 90% of the girls who try to hope on him.” “It’s been a month.” “What’s your point?” “Okay, take things at your pace then.” she chuckled before rummaging through her closet for a nice dress.
“Wow, you dressed up! What’s the occasion, babe?” Jungkook chuckled when you made your appearance. “I just wanted to look nice this week; it’s been a long one.” you replied as you took Yoongi’s drink from him. “My drink!” he whined. “You owe me this, I had to cover your ass this week.” “What happened?” Jungkook calmly asked, leaning back into the sofa that you two were sat on. “His parents called to check on him and stuff and I had to say that their youngest son was doing very well and totally not skipping classes and spending his most money on booze.” “But what else made you so bleh about this week?” “Oh, it’s just been long because of some deadlines that I have, but that’s what this party’s here for.” “True.” “How was your week?” “It was okay, I guess. Nothing much happened.” “Sorry, I couldn’t manage to see you this week, by the way.” you told him, feeling slightly guilty because you had been so absorbed in meeting deadlines. “It’s fine. We can hang out now.” he smiled. “Can I take this seat?” a random girl asked before she sat on Jungkook who was evidently uncomfortable with the situation. “No, can you actually get off me?” he told her as he looked over at you for help. “But Kookie.” she mewled. “Can you leave?” you suddenly asked her. “Why? So you can have him all to yourself?” “No, he’s clearly uncomfortable with you sitting on him so like go find someone else to harass.” you nonchalantly replied. “Fine. I didn’t want your dick anyway.” she told Jungkook as she left. “Thanks. I didn’t know what I was supposed to do to make her leave.” “Hey, what are friends for?” you laughed before taking another sip of Yoongi’s poison. “Here, take it back. It’s like straight up vodka; I’m getting my own drink.” you complained before heading towards the kitchen. You hadn’t realised Jungkook had followed you until you saw his hand reaching for the same bottle. “You first.” he smiled. “Thanks.” “It’s always so quiet in here.” “I know, right? But it’s probably because it’s not the best place to do anything.” you replied as you handed him the bottle. “Where’s the coke?” you asked. “Oh, there should be some here.” Jungkook replied as he opened a cabinet filled with mixers including coke. “Thank you, my saviour. Imagine having the ratio Yoongi has. I’d be out in no time.” “Yoongi is unnecessarily intolerant to alcohol.” Jungkook muttered. “Anyways, I’ll be heading back.” he added before leaving.
When you returned there was no space for you to sit. Your first choice would be Yoongi but he seemed occupied by someone’s lips. Yes, modern day romance. Lexi was nowhere to be seen and so you just awkwardly stood there with your red cup. “Come over here, sweetheart.” Jungkook told you. “I have nowhere to sit.” “Here.” “Your lap?” you would’ve spat out your drink if it were in your mouth at this point but instead your eyes just widened. “Yeah, c’mon.” “You’re not trying to get into my pants, are you?” you joked when you sat down on Jungkook’s lap. “I would never try to do so so blatantly.” he chuckled as one arm wrapped around your waist. After a few shots of vodka that Lexi had kindly presented it was safe to say you were in that territory where you would say whatever was on your mind, no filter whatsoever. “You have a good face.” you smiled as you caressed Jungkook’s face. “I would hope so.” he chuckled. You leaned your body into his and quietly stayed there, letting time pass. “Wait for me.” you muttered. “What?” “Wait for me to figure out my feelings.” “___, I don’t know what you’re talking about.” “Lexi said I like you but I just want to be sure.” you pouted, eyes half open and you were falling sleepy. “Of course I’ll wait for you, babygirl.” Although you were drunk and sleepy, your words reassured him. Obviously you probably wouldn’t remember telling him this but it boosted his confidence in his chances with you. Moments later you were sleeping on top of Jungkook but he seemed completely unbothered; in fact, he probably was enjoying being so close to you. “You might wanna bring her to your room.” Yoongi muttered, seeming much sober than a few hours ago. “Again?” “Where else will she sleep? Not my room. There’s someone in there.” “Okay, I’ll wait til the stairs are more cleared though; this party is still quite alive.”
In reality he was just finding an excuse to stay in this position for as long as possible but he had to admit it was almost 2am and he probably should take you to his bed. When he placed you down on his bed, you refused to let go. “No, don’t go. Stay here.” you whined as you reached for his arms. “Baby, you should get some rest.” “Why do you always call me that? Always babe, babygirl, sweetheart or baby. Hmm.” you asked. “Do you like me?” you whispered. “Get some sleep, ___.” “No pet name.” you pouted, turning away from him. “Why do I like you?” Jungkook quietly muttered before leaving the room and kicking the majority of the party out so he could catch some sleep himself. “___’s in your room, right?” Lexi asked before she left the party. “Yeah, don’t worry. I’ll bring her home tomorrow.”
“Why am I here again?” you muttered as you stumbled out of Jungkook’s bed. “Jungkook?” you called when you left the room. “Yeah?” he replied from the kitchen. “Why am I still here?” you tiredly asked before hopping onto the island. “You fell asleep around 1am so I just took you to my room at the end of the party.” “Thanks, again.” you chuckled. “It’s no problem.” “Did I say anything stupid?” “Nothing stupid.” he smiled. “Pancakes?” he added afterwards. “Always.” Suddenly the door burst open and Taehyung appeared, “Oh, am I interrupting?” he smirked before leaving. “Why did he even come when he didn’t get anything?” you asked. “You know what he’s like.” Jungkook chuckled. Jimin came in a few minutes after the two of you started to tuck into your pancakes. “Mr and Mrs Jeon.” he teased. “What?” the two of you replied, clearly in shock. “You are so gonna owe me those 10 bucks.” Jimin whispered into your ear before saying something to Jungkook. When Jimin left, the two of you awkwardly sat in silence. “So, what did he say to you?” Jungkook asked you. “I’ll owe him 10 bucks.” “Why?” “Well, um, this will sound bad but he said that if we get together by June 4 I owe him the 10 and if we don’t he owes me it.” “Well, will we?” Jungkook nonchalantly asked. “I don’t know. Would I get with my frat boy assignment partner?” “Who knows what the future holds?” he shrugged before leaving the room, but you figured it was because of what you told him.
[2:32pm] You: i just thought id let you know that im home
[2:58pm] (Jungkook) cool
[2:58pm] You: whats wrong :(
[3:56pm] (Jungkook) nothing :)
[3:57pm] You: you dont need to lie to me, did i do smth???
[3:58pm] (Jungkook) i mean not much you can do anyway so just leave it
“He frustrating you?” Lexi asked, you must have been quite obviously displaying your annoyance. “Yep. He won’t tell me what’s wrong. Do you know what I might have said last night?” you asked. “I have no idea what it could be, sorry.” “Ugh, what if I told him I liked him?” “So, you like him?” “Well, I’m still not that sure.” “You two sound like you’re dating already most of the time but you should probably try to get him to talk because there’s only so much I can do.” “I guess. I’ll try calling him later.”
[6:08pm] You: can i call you?
[6:08pm] (Jungkook) sure
“Hello?” “Jungkook, why are you sad?” “I told you, you can’t do anything about it, so don’t worry about it, ___.” “Was it the thing about Jimin and the 10 bucks because I can call that off-” “No, it wasn't that. In fact, I kind of want that 10 bucks but that’s not it.” he told you. “Then what is it?” “I’ve just been thinking a lot, ever since last night.” he confessed. “Is it something I said? Because I was drunk.” “That’s the thing though, you’re more honest when you’re drunk, ___.” “What did I say?” you awkwardly asked. “Well, you kind of told me to wait for you and that you were sorting your feelings out and then you asked me not to leave you when I placed you on my bed.” “I’m so sorry. I didn’t know I said that.” “No, it wasn’t that. It was when you just called me a frat boy assignment partner, like, is that all you see me as despite the fact that you had told me those things the night before?” “Jungkook-” “I just can’t understand what the hell you mean, ____.” “Jungkook, do you like me?” There was a long silence and it was awkward on both ends. “Yes.” and then he hung up.
“Seriously, he hung up after admitting that he liked you?” Lexi asked. “Yeah…” you sighed. “What else did he say to you?” “Something about stuff I said when I was drunk and sober. I think he thinks I’m messing with him but really I have no idea what’s going on.” you pouted, leaning back against the headboard. “Well, just give him some time. It’s the best thing you can probably do right now.” “I don’t think I have a choice.” “Hey, how about we go treat you?” “I don’t feel like it.” “___, I am taking you out that’s final.” Lexi said as she pulled you off your bed. “Fine, fine. Where are even gonna take me?” “Only your favourite cafe which also happens to be the most expensive place to buy a cup of coffee.” “You’re paying?” “Yep.” The next week was quiet and slow; you were praying that the class would be over soon so you could go home and then go to the weekly frat party. You needed an escape more than ever.
“___, you’re not wearing that. You just want his attention.” Lexi told you when she saw you pull out the shortest and most revealing dress you owned. “Funny. Last week you said I should be trying to get his attention.” you sarcastically replied. “Haha. Funny. The circumstances are different this time.” “I’m wearing it.” “Fine, but if he doesn’t talk to you this time, don’t come complaining to me.” “I won’t.” you muttered before changing into the dress.
“Hey, idiot.” Yoongi called when he entered the kitchen. “What do you want?” you mumbled as you poured yourself a drink. “Nothing. Can’t I check up on my best friend?” “I’m sorry. It’s been a long week and this time I mean really long.” “Is this about Jungkook and you not talking?” “How do you know?” “___, I’m literally in the same frat as him.” “Ugh, I just don’t really know what I did for him to be this way.” “Go talk to him.” “No.” “Then stay frustrated.” “I hate when you make good points.” you said before leaving the room and heading towards Jungkook. To your surprise he was surrounded by all types of people that you had never seen before. “Of course.” you muttered before sitting down in your usual spot on the sofa. Yoongi came over not too long later. “You haven’t spoken to him have you?” “Nope, he seems occupied.” you mumbled. “Here.” Yoongi said as he handed you a much needed spliff. “You’re giving me this?” “You need it, ___. Just relax a little.” he chuckled as he lit his own. It was about an hour later than your initial appearance at the party and for once, you were mingling and speaking to new people. Suddenly arms wrapped around your waist, you had no idea who it was but you had an idea and didn’t push them off you. “Hey, sweetheart.” You turned your head to face Jungkook who seemed very much drunk; it took a lot for him to be drunk so to see him in this state shocked you. He pressed his hips against your own and you could feel his very evident hard on against you. “Who allowed you to wear such a revealing dress? Thinking I wouldn’t notice? Or was that what you wanted?” he whispered into your ear. “Jungkook, let me get you some water.” “No, I’m okay, babygirl.” he lowly told you as placed kisses along your neck. “Jungkook, you’re barely standing upright.” you told him. “That’s why I’m holding onto you, baby.” he chuckled before taking him to the sofa. It was weird being the more sober one for once but your main priority was to make sure Jungkook was okay. After you placed him on the sofa, you went to grab a cup of water.
“Jungkook, please drink this.” you told him when you returned to him. You sat down beside him to make sure he would be okay. How much exactly did he have to drink? “___, you know it sucks that you play with me like this?” “Jungkook, you’re drunk. Let’s talk when you’re sober.” you stated before his head softly met your shoulder. “I may be drunk and very honry because of you but you mean so much to me. Why am I just a frat boy to you?” he pouted. “Jungkook, I’ll talk about this when you’ll be able to remember.” The boy’s head fell softly onto your lap before he seemed to fall asleep, he looked so peaceful, as if there was not a care in the world. You lightly caressed his face before Lexi made an appearance. “Woah, what happened here?” “He’s drunk and knocked out.” you told her, moving your hand away from Jungkook’s face. “Did you get to talk to him?” Yoongi asked as he sat down beside Lexi. “Okay, where did you come from? Also, no. By the time I saw him he was piss drunk.” you replied. “You guys are so frustrating, I mean, you’re clearly into each other.” Lexi whined. “Not so simple.” “___, face it. You like him. I’ve never seen you like someone this much during your lifetime.” Yoongi teased. “Okay, even if I did. What’s it to you guys?” “Well, if you two actually got your shit together, we’d be stress free.” Lexi smiled. “Look, I’ll talk to him when he’s sober. I haven’t seen him all week and the time I do he’s knocked out on my lap.” “Is that why you’ve been so pissy all week? Because you hadn’t seen him?” Lexi asked. “Did you only just realise?” Yoongi laughed. “Can you guys help me take him upstairs? I don’t want to be stuck here for the rest of the night.” “You mean you don’t want the love of your life to stay so close to you?” Lexi joked. “Guys, please.” “Okay, fine.” Yoongi said before coming to move Jungkook with you. The three of you helped him get to his bedroom, where you took off his shoes and tucked him into bed. “Thanks guy, you can go back to the party, I’ll be down in a second.” you said before turning your attention back to Jungkook who seemed to have fallen back to sleep. When you turned away and started to make your way to the door you heard Jungkook say “___, stay.”
“Honey, you’re drunk and sleepy. Get some rest.” “No, ___, come here.” “Jungkook.” “Call me honey again.” he mumbled. “I like it.” he added. “Jungkook, get some sleep. I’ll talk to you later.” “No, please, at least give me a hug?” he whined so you gave in and made your way back towards him. His strong arms pulled you into his embrace, almost causing you to lose balance and collapse onto him. “Thank you.” he muttered when you pulled away but he grabbed you again and placed a kiss on your lips, but you quickly pulled away from him. “Jungkook, stop. You’re drunk, you don’t know what you’re doing. I want you to sleep.” “Okay, but only because you want me to. Goodnight, sweetheart.” “You’re such a handful sometimes.” you mumbled as you closed the door behind you. “What took you so long?” Yoongi asked you when you sat down beside him. “I just wanted to make sure he was good.” “That’s it?” “Yeah.” The party was finally dying down, people were leaving and falling asleep but you remained more awake than ever. “___, are you coming home?” Lexi asked. “I think I’ll stay here.” “Okay, I’ll see you later.” Since you couldn’t sleep you decided to clean up the mess that remained. It’s not like it would clean itself, right? Three hours later, you were still wide awake and most of the mess was gone. You just couldn’t get Jungkook off your mind; he hadn’t spoken to you all week and then he went and did what he did. Is this how he was feeling? You ignored your thoughts and carried on cleaning until you heard footsteps coming down the stairs, you turned your attention towards the figure walking down and it was no other than a very tired Jungkook. “What are you doing up?” you asked him. “I got thirsty.” he quickly replied, walking straight past you and into the kitchen. “Okay.” you muttered before resuming to cleaning. Thanks to you the place was now spotless.
“Why are you awake?” Jungkook asked when he reappeared with a glass of water. “I couldn’t sleep. For once, I didn’t end up asleep in your room.” you chuckled. “Yeah, uh, thanks for bringing me up.” “How did you know I did?” “___, I was drunk but I wasn’t as drunk as you normally get.” he smiled before placing the glass on the coffee table and taking a seat on the sofa. He signed for you to take a seat beside him. “So, you remember everything you did?” you asked to which he nodded. “Are you still upset at me?” “Nope. Just kinda upset that I went to bed with a hard on.” he joked, leaning back into the sofa. “You were drunk, I wasn’t gonna let you do anything like that. And why aren’t you upset anymore?” you curiously asked. “I heard your conversation with Lexi and Yoongi. You. Like. Me. And! You were pissy because we didn’t speak all week.” he smirked. “What’s your point?” “There is such a big chance of us happening, baby.” “Jungkook, you got upset over me calling you a frat boy and you didn’t talk to me for a week. What makes you think anything will happen?” “Simple. We like each other. Oh, and you know your deal with Jimin? I told him I was disappointed in him and that if he won he’d have to give me the money so either way we get the money.” “We?” “Well yeah, after I ask you to be my girlfriend but I should take you on a date first.” “You’re serious?” “As serious as my hard on.” “You’re wha-” you stopped your sentence midway when you looked down and noticed the obvious tent in his jeans. “Okay, how? I didn’t even say anything provocative.” “You’re still in that dress, sweetheart. You’re driving me crazy.” he growled as he moved closer to you, placing short but sweet kisses along your collarbone and neck. “Say something, baby.” he muttered against your neck. “Let me kiss you.” you replied. Jungkook pulled you onto his lap and grabbed your ass roughly as the two of you made out. Neither of you holding back any of the sexual frustration that had obviously built up. “You’re so hot, baby.” Jungkook said to which you moaned in response. Somewhere along the way you had started to grind against Jungkook, causing him to moan in response. “Fuck, I want you so bad.” he muttered before lifting your dress up to place two fingers against your clothed heat. “Wow, so wet already. All for me?” “All for you.” you managed to respond in between breaths. “Do you want my fingers inside you, babygirl?” “Yes, please.” you mewled before you left hickies on his neck. Jungkook kissed you as he moved your panties so that his fingers could enter, you causing you to moan into the kiss. “You like that, babygirl?” Jungkook asked as he used to thumb to rub your clit as he fingered you. You placed your head on his shoulder, unable to respond due to the stimulation. “Answer me, baby.” he replied as he spare hand squeezed your ass. “I love it.” you managed to say in between breaths. “Good girl.” He curled his fingers inside of you every so often, eliciting moans from you. Not long later the heat built up in your stomach and you knew you were close. “Jungkook, I-” “I know, baby. Cum for me.” He told you as his hands sped up causing you to scream out of pleasure. “Too loud. There are people sleeping, princess.” he chuckled before placing his two fingers into his mouth, cleaning up the mess you had made on him. “Tastes so good, but let’s get to the best part.”
Jungkook placed you down so that you were laying on your back with him hovering above you. “I’ll have to see your tits another time I just need to be inside you right now.” he smirked. “Be my guest.” “Where did my submissive babygirl go?” “She got impatient.” you told him as you pulled him down to kiss you. Afterwards Jungkook impatiently removed his jeans and briefly touched himself, using the precum as lube, before aligning his cock with you, whilst you removed your panties and pulled up your dress. He had barely placed the head inside you when you let out a moan. “Wow, I haven’t even done anything yet.” he chuckled. “Just, fuck me.” “Your wish is my command.” he said before shoving himself into and waiting for you to become adjusted to his size. Based on the look you gave him he knew he could finally move, starting off slow so that he wouldn’t hurt you by accident. “Please, faster.” you whined. “Baby, you have no idea how tight you feel.” he moaned as he thrust in and out of you. He sped up and ended up hitting just the spot over and over again, causing you to whine and moan over and over. Due to all the pleasure from your last orgasm and from Jungkook fucking you like there was no tomorrow you could feel your second orgasm beginning to make an appearance. “Jungkook.” you whined as he thrust into you. “Baby, I’m close.” you moaned, causing him to speed up his thrusts, making them become sloppy. “Me too, babygirl.” He moved closer to you, placing a kiss on your lips as he continued to fuck you senselessly and there it was. You were about to scream out his name before he kissed you to silence you, so that no one would catch the two of you. “I’m so close, baby.” he moaned and with one more thrust his cum painted your insides and he collapsed on top of you. He slowly pulled out of you, causing you to whine. “Sorry, baby, we can’t stay like that forever.” he chuckled before retrieving his clothes. “Wait, are you on birth control?” he said, panic evident in his voice. “Yeah.” “Thank fuck, I completely forgot to ask before I fucked you.” “Well, I’m on it. You know, for future reference.” “Okay, okay, c’mon let’s get you to my room.” “I need to pee first.” “Okay, let me help you to the bathroom, then to my room. Let’s get some rest.”
A few hours later the two of you woke up, you were still wrapped in Jungkook’s arms and it felt so right. “Hi.” he smiled. “Hey.” “I like this.” he chuckled. “Yeah, me too. I wouldn’t mind waking up to you again.” “I should still take you on a date before I ask you to be my girl.” “So do you usually fuck before the first date?” you teased. “You’re the only exception. I’ve been crushing on you since like the start of this year so when you wanted to be assignment partners I knew it was my time to get you.” “You’re cute.” you laughed as you placed a kiss on his lips. “Do you wanna change out of that?” Jungkook asked, realising you were still in the dress from last night. “You have anything that’ll fit?” “You could wear something as a dress but like something loose.” he replied as he left the bed to find you something better to wear. “Here you go, sweetie.” “Thanks.” Jungkook and you then walked down the stairs together and headed towards the kitchen. “You guys were loud.” Jimin smirked. “You’re a pervert.” you responded. “So are you together?” “Nope.” Jungkook replied as he grabbed ingredients for breakfast with you. “You fucked but you’re not together?” Yoongi replied. “I need to take her on a date first.” “YOU CAN FUCK BEFORE CALLING HER YOUR GIRLFRIEND BUT NOT BEFORE A DATE?” Yoongi screamed, probably causing anyone who was asleep to wake up. “Yeah.” Jungkook shrugged. “Y’all are weird.” Jimin muttered before leaving the kitchen with Yoongi. “How about I take you on that date after breakfast?” “I’m down for that.”
“Are we going on another drive?” you asked him when you got into his car. “How did you know?” he sarcastically replied. The two of you had been driving for an hour before Jungkook came to a stop. “We’ve been here before.” “Yes, we have. Jungkook chuckled. “Why did you take me back here?” “You found it really pretty. I thought why not come back as our first date?” he told you as he wrapped an arm around your shoulders. “You’re cheesy.” “You like me. Are we playing state the obvious?” he joked. “You’re the worst.” “Well, now you’re just lying.” he pouted. “Maybe, I am.” you responded, pulling away from his embrace to be face to face with him. “You’re the best.” he told you. “I know.” you smirked before he placed a delicate kiss on your forehead. “Be my girlfriend?”
Two months later it was time to write your new opinions on love and compare it to what you had written last time. You had already written your part and now it was Jungkook’s turn. “Jungkook, you want that A, right? Do your part!” you told him as you passed him the laptop that was on your lap. “Okay, okay. You can’t rush art, baby.” “Just write it, please.”
I am not quite sure what romantic love feels like; I’ve had girlfriends before but I never felt strong emotions towards them and thought “Can I feel love?” but love isn’t just romantic, it comes in all shapes and sizes. The beauty is that you could love anyone you want to, no matter gender, race, sexuality, it doesn’t matter, love is love. Love is being able to hear my mother laugh after the stressful life she had while raising my brother and I; love is seeing my father crack a joke and enlightening the mood even further; love is seeing my friends laugh with each other. In fact, I think I’m falling in love with someone right now and because of her, I’m also falling in love with the world that surrounds her. Maybe I will experience romantic love one day but even if I don’t that’s okay. I have all these amazing people who love me, regardless. Love is the most beautiful thing we do and without it we’d be nowhere.
It’s been three months since I wrote my last paragraph on what love meant in my eyes and since then I’ve fallen deeper in love with one of the most amazing people in this world. When you love someone romantically, they become your everything, they become the most beautiful person to you, they become the best thing about your life. This is my first time feeling something so real for someone and I don’t plan on letting go. Love is different for everyone but for me love makes me a better person and is something everyone deserves to feel.

Wizards and Warlocks
A commission for my friend @swordhandjpg whos a mess and has bad taste <3  Commissions are OPEN and all the info is HERE
Getting a degree is the last thing on Owain’s mind. There are maidens to save from dragons, and corrupt rulers that needed toppling from their kingdoms. And yet, one phone call from his mother sends him to the library with only a quick ‘sorry’ text sent to his dungeons and dragons group.
He has an essay due at the end of the week, and he’s certain that he won’t be the only one of his classmates spending long hours in the library in the next few days. At least once he gets started, the actual writing of the essay won’t take him that long.
With a stack of books in his arms, he wanders the aisles of the library, looking for somewhere to sit. With finals soon and deadlines abound, most seats are taken by students sweating over getting their work done in time for a good grade. Eventually though, he finds a seat, cramped in between two people he vaguely recognises from around campus.
People come and go as he reads and makes notes, the library slowly emptying as night draws further in. It may be open twenty four hours at this time of year, but most students still value getting some sleep than doing work, knowing that they’ll still have time come morning. When he glances at his phone and sees it’s 2am, he reckons that it’s probably time to pack it up- he’s done enough work that if he’s lucky, he can fire through the essay tomorrow and meet up in time for the weekend’s dungeons and dragons session.
When Owain moves to get up, though, he quickly discovers his legs are dead (a curse of sitting still for so long). So while he waits to regain the feeling in his legs, he pulls out his laptop and works on the story for the next D&D game that it’s his turn to be dungeon master for. He’s halfway through when his light is blocked, and he looks up to see a girl standing over him.
“Are you still using these books?”
“N-no.”
“I’ll put them away for you then,” she offers, with a smile on her face as she scoops up an armful of books. Owain’s eyes flash to the badge that’s stuck on her shirt- Robin Grima MA, Library Assistant.
She disappears then, and he watches her go through the aisles like some sort of library ghost, the florescent lighting of the library casting her white hair in its eerie glow.
And Owain finds himself in the library the next day, finishing off his essay and submitting it. It’s quieter today- with only two days left this semester, he has to assume that most people have got their work done now. The library assistant is there again, flitting about the shelves and sharing laughs with some of the other students. While waiting for the confirmation email from his tutor, Owain pulls out sheets from last weekend’s D&D and goes over what was going on.
“Is that a dungeons and dragons sheet?” A voice comes from behind him, and he whips round to see Robin, as he remembers, peering over his shoulder.
“Y-yeah. I play at the weekends with my friends from the campus across town.”
“Huh,” Robin says, taking a seat beside Owain, her eyes focussed on the page. “Don’t suppose you’re looking for another player? I’ve been looking for a new group for a while.”
“You play?” Owain asks incredulously, his interested piqued in this girl. Sure, she was pretty, but he was a little intimidated by her. But finding D&D in common... now that was something he could get behind.
“Well, not anymore. It was popular in my home country, but when I moved here to do my Masters, I had to leave that group behind. And since I live here now, I was thinking about looking for a new group. And you’ve landed right in my lap.”
“I can ask if they’re willing to let you join. We are in the middle of the campaign.”
“Do you think they’d still be awake to ask them now?” Her eyes are alight with excitement, and Owain can’t help but fall into line with her plan.
“Leo definitely will be. I’m not sure he ever sleeps.” He lifts his phone and sends a hasty text, trying to ensure that his hands aren’t shaking as he does so. Leo responds within instants- and Owain turns to Robin with a smile. “He says okay, as long as you can fit your character into the plot.”
“Can I borrow these sheets, then? I can photocopy them now and bring them back to you.”
“Of course!”
She snatches the sheets from the desk and then she’s gone in a flash. Owain stares at his hands, in awe of how smoothly he’s managed this situation so far. He just has to hope that when they actually get to playing she’s not entirely put off by his more... outgoing persona.
“What’s your name?” She asks when she returns. “I’m Robin.”
“Owain.”
“Lovely to meet you, Owain.” Her eyes crinkle with a smile, and Owain can feel his chest constrict- gods, he has it bad for her already.
“I-if you want, we can get the bus together over to Leo’s house. That’s where we play- he lives with his family in his big house just outside town-“
“Oh, I know the one! I can drive us. It’ll cost you nothing,” Robin says with a wink. “What time at?”
“We usually play from four, so three thirty?”
“I’ll meet you at the front here then. I’d better get back to work, but...” she takes a pencil out of her hair and scribbles on Owain’s papers. “There’s my number if you need it. Nice to meet you again!”
As promised, Robin is waiting for Owain outside the library at exactly three thirty. Her car is old and beat up, but the inside smells like fresh laundry as he slides into the passenger seat. She grins at him before driving off towards the outskirts of town.
The radio is crackly but plays the top forty as they travel. Owain catches her humming along sometimes- off key, but he’s captivated nonetheless. He points out directions to her, trying to keep his voice steady. When they arrive at Leo’s house, and she spends a few moments admiring the building itself before Owain ends up having to drag her inside through a side entrance.
“You’re early,” Leo quips, putting down his book. The table is already set up, and Robin has to assume that this is the Dungeon master for this session.
“Robin drove me. No missing the bus this time.”
“So you’re Robin?” Leo says, raising an eyebrow. “When Owain said he was bringing a friend, this is not what I expected. But of course, you are more than welcome.”
“Thank you. I hear you’re studying history? That’s what my degree was in. Specifically old battles. That’s what interests me.”
“Ah, my study is more on ancient civilisation. But it’s nice to meet someone with a similar interest to me. Gods know these two are not on the same academic wavelength that I am.”
“Sorry, these two?”
“Ah, you’re yet to meet Niles. He’ll be here soon, I’d imagine. Tea, Robin? Coffee?”
“Ah, coffee, thanks.”
“And I already know your order, Owain.”
Leo disappears up the stairs at the back of the room, and Robin takes the opportunity to peer at the setup on the board. There are cut out player characters, cardboard with blu-tack on the bottom to hold them in place. There are only two- what looks like a bard and a warlock. Her old character from back home was a cleric (her friend’s idea, not hers) but the character she hurriedly drew up last night will be the wizard of this party. Sure, it might leave them rather unbalanced, but she doesn’t care too much. It’s for fun- she doubts any of them take this too seriously.
“Hello?” A new voice comes, and in walks who Robin has to assume is Niles. He takes a seat and crosses his legs and smiles as her, and Robin can immediately tell that he is the one that plays the bard and that Owain is the warlock. And going off the little she knows about him, she thinks that suits him well. “When I was told Owain was bringing a friend, I never imagined it’d be a girl,” Niles laughs. “Good for him.”
“N-N-Niles!” Owain stutters. “She asked me if she could play, it has nothing to do with me.”
“That’s true,” Robin speaks up, defending Owain. “I’ve been looking for a new group for a while.”
“Well, good for you. We’ll see what you think of us when you meet Odin Dark and his chosen accomplices.”
“I assume that Odin Dark is your character? And you’re the Warlock?”
“That would be correct,” Owain says, sounding a little put down.
“Do the voice,” Niles hisses as Leo reappears with a tray of drinks and snacks.
“I will do no such thing!”
“See, his speech patterns have changed already,” Leo points out as he takes his seat, notes in hand. “And you need to do the voice, or we won’t let you take your turn. Robin, what character are you playing? I’ll cut out the figure while you read over this,” he says, handing a sheet over to her.
“I’m playing wizard,” she says, and Leo sighs.
“Must all three of you play magic users? You’re just making this all hard for yourselves.”
“Oh Leo, you know we wouldn’t have it any other way,” Niles drawls.
“Sh-shut it, you. Anyway, if you’re all ready to begin...”
Twelve cups of coffee and two takeaway pizzas later, the session ends, and Robin feels confident that she’s beginning to understand the concept that Leo has based this story on. She may have started as a wizard, but the back-story she created and the situation that Leo put her introduction in are so much more interesting than she originally bargained for, and she finds herself grinning as she bids goodnight to Niles and Leo. They seem like good friends to Owain, who she has to admit she has a soft spot for already.
“Where do you want me to drop you off?” Robin asks.
“Uh... in front of the library again?”
“Works for me.”
They drive along in silence, Robin sneaking glances Owain’s way when they’re stopped in traffic. He’s twiddling his thumbs, and staring out the window. There’s something different about him- this isn’t the Owain she met in the library, nor is it the famous warlock Odin Dark that he plays in dungeons and dragons.
“Is something the matter, Owain?” She asks softly. “You’ve been very quiet the whole way home.”
“I’m just a little... embarrassed.”
“About what?”
“Well, you knew me before D&D. And now you’ve seen Odin Dark, who is me, but also... not me.”
“I think he’s cool,” Robin shrugs, not taking her eyes off the road. “And I think you’re cool too. You don’t need to be one of those two people. You can be both.”
“You think I’m cool?” Owain says, finally turning from the window to look at Robin. She flashes a smile at him.
“Yeah! And you’re studying English, right? So storytelling is in your bones. That’s probably why you have this elaborate other persona, a character that you’ve invented for a specific purpose.”
“You’re too kind to me, Robin. Our party does not deserve such a wizard like Clover Severiestus! She is, after all, the strongest of her kind.”
“Well, I’m sure she thinks that Odin Dark is pretty cool, too.”
“The chosen one thanks you for relaying such a message.”
Robin pulls into the library car park, and turns to look at Owain properly. He’s like some sort of puppy, she thinks, excitable and expectant and... cute. And gods, she’s a little bit older than him, but he’s the most genuine man she’s ever met, so she leans over and kisses him on the cheek, and laughs as his face grows red.
“See you on Tuesday?” She asks. And to make things worse, he takes her hand and places a kiss on the back of it.
“Fare thee well, sweet maiden.”
“Until we meet again, Sir Dark!”

Adventure Can Be Anywhere- Ponyboy Curtis Imagine
(Hey, it’s Jay. Guess who has a six-page essay due Monday and hasn’t started??? It’s me but here I am doing this instead. This one’s just gonna be something small. Send me requests! Enjoy.)
Warnings: small mentions of abuse, unedited.
Another hot Saturday afternoon in Tulsa and Ponyboy found himself in the lot once again. He was alone this time and stayed staring at the puffy clouds in the sky.
He was lost in a trance before he heard police sirens a few blocks away. He sat up and looked around. He could tell they were close.
Before he laid back down, he saw a girl running through the park and into the lot. He watched as she ran closer to him.
That girl was you of course. Y/N Y/L/N Winston. You had lived in New York until yesterday. You called up your brother, Dallas, and caught a train over to Tulsa. You love the city, but your mom...she was another story. Drinking was one thing, but when you became her babysitter and punching bag you couldn’t take it. You didn’t even pack a bag, you just heard the words “get out” and you were gone.
Of course, you were as reckless as Dally, but you preferred the phrase “free spirit”. You loved trouble and adventure. It kept life interesting for you. Especially at night, it kept it from getting too quiet.
It’s only been a few hours in Tulsa and here you were, running from the cops. It was just a pack of cigs...and a candy bar...and an iced tea. But it doesn’t matter. Here you were just running.
You saw the brown haired boy laying down in lot. He looked like a greaser. So maybe he could help. You ran over to him, knowing the feds were only a few streets down.
“Hey, I’m a bit of trouble here and uh...help?” You talked fast to the stranger. He was confused but something in you knew he was good people. You weren’t like Dally in that way...you had some faith in people.
“Uh-those sirens for you?” You nodded quickly and he nodded. “Um...follow me.”
You watched him get up and he looked at you. You looked back at him and realized he was very cute... like really cute. His hair was a brown color and his eyes were a piercing gray-green. You almost forgot the problems coming at you until the sirens got louder. He noticed too.
“Follow me.” He grabbed your hand and started to run behind a building to an alleyway. You both sat behind a dumpster and waited there for a bit.
“Thank you.” You smiled at him, trying to catch your breath.
“No problem.” He smiled back at you and began to speak. “My names Ponyboy by the way.”
“That’s original...I like it. Parents must be really creative.”
“Yeah, they were.” You frowned at him and he shook his head with a small smile. “Don’t worry about it, you didn’t know.”  He sighed and looked at you. “So you got a name? Or you just gonna be a mystery girl?” He gave you a reassuring smile.
“Y/N.” You laughed and put your hand out. He returned the gesture and shook your hand. His was warm and soft, but not clammy or anything...just warm...
“So you look new. Do you live around here?” He broke the silence as your hands pulled away.
“Uh, well now I have for about three hours. I guess,”you only laughed,”I’m from New York actually. I’m gonna stay with some family. It’s...interesting here so far.”
“It’s not really. It’s just the same old every day.”
“Well yeah, only if you let it be boring. Life’s what you make of it.” He watched as your eyes lit up. “Come on...I’ll show you.” You stood up from behind the dump and smiled at him with your hand out.
He doesn’t know why he grabbed your hand, but he was in for an adventure that’s for sure. Something in his gut trusted you.
You pulled him up and smiled up at him. “Let’s go have an adventure, Ponyboy.”
With that, he followed you through the alley and into the town. “What are we gonna do?”
You tapped on your chin as you looked around and thought to yourself. You got a mischievous smile as you spotted two office chairs being thrown out. “Any hills around here?”
He saw the look in your eyes and grinned at you before nodding. Anyone driving by would have seen two 14-year-olds pushing office chairs and knew they were up to no good.
“Now some people like to say I’m up to no good, but I like to say having some unorthodox fun.” You told him as you two pushed up the hill.
Darry was gonna kill him for not being home by five and he could feel it. It was only two, but he knew he was stuck here with you. He had no problem with that.
He smiled at you. You couldn’t see because he was behind you, but that boy was grinning and thinking about all the trouble you were...but you were in the best way.
Once you got to the top he looked at you. “Now what?”
“Well, now we sit on the chair and roll down.” You laughed as his eyes popped out of his head. “Come on, don’t be chicken.”
“Are you crazy?” He looked at the steep hill and saw death. But then he looked at your excited face and his fear vanished.
“Of course I am. And so are you because you’re here with me.” You smiled and sat in your chair. “Look, it’s not scary. I did it all the time back home. See?” With that, you pushed your self down the hill. His eyes were wide and he was gonna stop you, but he watched as the chair moved faster. The wind was through your hair and you laugh could be heard for miles. You felt like you were free and flying in the moments before the chair stopped.
You laughed and looked up at him. “Now you!” You shouted from the bottom. He sighed and gulped. He took a deep breath before pushing himself down the hill. His scream turned into laughter as he realized the way you felt. Free.
He reached the bottom and you looked at him with a raised eyebrow. “Well?”
He was quiet before he looked at you. “That was awesome! Let’s go again!” He stood up and pulled you up before running up the hill again.
You couldn’t get the smiles off each other’s faces. It was like being a kid again. You two spent three hours up there. The last ride down you looked at him and smiled as you sat down. “Grab my hand.”
He did as he was told an looked at your hand intertwined before looking up at you. “Now on 3, okay?” He nodded. “1...2...3!” You two pushed off and let our screams and laughs.
On the way down, one of your chairs hit a rock and took you both down. The ground scrapped your leather jacket and his arms. It was quiet as you laid on the floor, but when you looked at each other, you busted out in laughter. It was the best kind of laughter: loud and obnoxious.
He stood and pulled you up. “Come on, I wanna show you something.” You nodded and followed him up the hill again, without the chairs. You guys went all the way to the top. and he took you to the very top. The sun was going down and the sunset was a golden pink.
“Pony...this is beautiful!” You spoke excitedly as you saw the city and looked up at him.
“I know...I love it here. It’s quiet. Come on, sit down.” You both sat and watched the sunset.
“So why here...why not stay in New York?” He looked at you curiously.
“My momma...she was a drunk. She would never be home so it was me since I was like 8 when my brother left. It was...it was hard. I couldn’t take it so I called my brother and here I am.” You looked sad and he could tell you were upset. The thought was killing you. “But adventure can be anywhere...right?” You gave a sad laugh.
He smiled at you and put his hand over yours. “Yeah...it can.”
You sat there for another hour and talked. This boy was special. You could feel it within you and he felt the same.
It was six or seven when he realized he said he’d be home by five. “We should go...my brother expected me home hours ago.”
“Okay, I’ll walk with you. I gotta go find my brother anyways.” You stood up with him and began walking.
“Who is your brother? I might know him.” He stuck his hands in his pockets and walked down the streets.
“His name is Dallas. Dallas Winston. I was supposed to meet him at his friend's place. The Curtis’, do you know them?” Oh boy, he was gonna be in trouble. Dally had been waiting all morning for someone...he just never said who.
“Well I am them...and we gotta get you there quick or Dally is gonna have our heads on a stick.” He grabbed your hand and dragged you to his house.
“You know Dally?” You yelled while running with him.
“Small town and your brother is one of my best friends.”
You could hear his nerves. Eventually, you were in his front yard. Pony walked in first and there was his brother waiting.
“Ponyboy Curtis! Where have you been? I said five, it’s seven thirty! And who is this?” His voice calmed when he saw you.
Before Pony could answer, Dallas walked in. “Y/N?”
“Hey, Dal...” Darry looked so confused.
“You know her?”
“Yeah, that’s my kid sister and I wanna know why I said I’d be waiting at the station and your ass wasn’t there? You could have been dead.”
“Dallas, you said nine and I waited past ten you ass!”
He stayed quiet until Darry spoke. “Why the hell are you both so scratched up? What did you do?”
“Oh my God, Darry, if he touched her, you’re only gonna have one little brother!”
“Ponyboy, what did you do with this girl?”
They were yelling and then you spoke up. “Hey!” They looked at you. “We didn’t do anything except having some fun in this town because apparently, no one knows nothin’ about it. And Darry, is it? I’m sorry I kept him late. It was my fault, not his. I’m sorry.”
Darry’s expression softened at you. He sighed and rubbed his red face. He wasn’t mad at you or Pony, just frustrated and you could see it. “And as for you Dallas, I feel bad arguing in a stranger’s house so please, follow me.”
Pony looked at you. The word stranger hurt a bit and he was in awe, along with Darry and the boys who had been in the kitchen with how you talked to Dally. No one ever raised their voice at him...ever.
He did follow you and looked at you. “Did you do anything with Pony?”
“No! Of course not Dally, he helped me get out of some trouble. We were just finding some fun.” You sighed and ran a hand through your hair. “You know Dallas you have some nerve being all protective now. You left me all alone with that monster!”
“I know! Okay, I know and I’m sorry. I couldn’t stay...I couldn’t. I wish I could have taken you but I’m making up for it now, kid. I’m sorry, alright?” He pulled you into a hug and held onto you. He never told anyone how much he missed you. You were his only weakness and he loved you as much as he loved Johnny. You and the boys inside were his only family. “I did miss you, kid.”
You hugged him back. “I missed you too.” He messed with your hair and walked you back in.
All eyes were on you two. “Oh um...hi?” You laughed and smiled at them. Ponyboy couldn’t take his eyes off you as you spoke to everyone. “I’m Y/N. Nice to meet you all.”
A blonde boy put his hand out. “I’m Keith, but they call me Two-Bit because I always put my two bits in.” He laughed and so did you as you shook his hand.
A boy with brown hair and beautiful eyes looked at you with the most striking smile you had ever seen. “I’m Sodapop Curtis.”
A boy with cake on his face smiled. “I’m Steve.”
A shy boy with jet black hair looked at you. “I’m Johnny.”
The rest of the night was spent getting to know them all. Your charm got Darry to warm up to you through the night. Laughter and stories filled the living room for hours on end.
Eventually, you got up and excused yourself to take a smoke break. You sat on the porch and lit up a cancer stick. You heard the door open and looked behind you. You smiled at the boy with the grey-green eyes.
“Hey, Ponyboy.”
“Hey...so some stranger’s house?” The word bugged him. Stranger. It just didn’t sit right to him.
“You know what I meant. You’re not a stranger. I trust you, Ponyboy Curtis.” You smiled and nudged him gently. He smiled at you as his chest warmed up. Words have never touched him more.
You took a drag. “Want a smoke?” You held the cig up to him and he nodded before taking it. He saw your lip gloss stain and took a drag from it. He thought it tasted like nicotine and cherry. It stayed in the silence until he broke it.
“There is some more to this town...it’s not always quiet.” He said looking over at you.
“Mind showing me?” You smile said mischief, but he didn’t care at all.
“Y/N Winston, it would be my pleasure to have many more adventures with you.”
Your eyes lit up in excitement and a smiled was stuck on your face.
“Ponyboy Curtis, I cannot wait for the adventures to come.”

me? posting before midnight? interesting...
you never forgot park woojin
you two were neighbours ever since you were born, you were best friends from the very start
you were literally inseparable even in school
woojin once cried so hard they had to call his parents in because he wasn't put in the same class as you so he had to change class HDKKF
but really,, you two were more like the same person than anything else
you'd spend all of your time together, always going to each other's houses and sleeping over I mean you were neighbours
when woojin got a trampoline you were there almost every day to play on it
and when you got a game console he was always over at yours to play on it
but one day he disappeared suddenly with no word said to you
it was the middle of high school, you two had stopped being in the same classes all the time and although you each had your own group of friends you two were ,,, the closest
still spending most of your time together and doing homework together for the classes you shared
but then woojin missed a day of school
and then another
and another
until it was a whole week
you immediately thought the worst, that he was sick
so after you got home from school that day you ran straight to his house only to see a 'for sale' sign in the yard and the house completely empty
when you got back to your house you asked your parents about it and they just mumbled something about the mafia
and just like that you never saw him again
you got on with your life, but it was difficult
you hadn't got a friend to say everything to anymore
nobody as close to you
and it made you feel very,, alone
and if what your parents had said about the mafia was true then
for all you know woojin could be a gangster or worse, dead
you'd just never know now
but you poured yourself into your work
you studied as hard as possible, partially because it was a distraction but also because something in you made you think that maybe, just maybe, if you did well woojin would be proud of you
wherever he was, that is
and you really did do well
you went to one of the top colleges in the country with a high gpa
but even though you'd succeeded it didn't feel right
you didn't have woojin there to celebrate with you
you didn't have woojin going to college with you
it was... different
but you got on with it
you found a small apartment in the suburbs to live in while you attended uni, and although it was kind of cramped it was homey and also very cheap
your friends at college said it was ,, in a kind of dodgy area,,, but you ignored them because well
you'd never seen anything bad happened and your neighbours were a crazy cat lady and a photographer how dodgy could it be???
that was until you were walking home one day, later than usual
you'd been doing work in the library for an essay that was due in a few weeks time
when you came across something odd - dodgy
3 men stood with their guns pointed towards another man on his own, with his own gun
all the men had your backs to you but
one of them seemed familiar
you approached further, making sure they didn't notice you because haha you didn't want to be shot
he... reminded you of someone
or was he the someone he was reminding you of?
wait
it's?
"Woojin?"
it was only a whisper but
the man closest to you, turned around, his gun pointing to the floor
and as he looked you in the eye you knew
it was definitely woojin
as much as you wanted to run to him and hug him for 2991934 hours to make up for the years you'd missed together
there was a dangerous situation
just as one of the other men tutted and turned to woojin
the person they were all facing ran away into the night
the tallest man fired in the mans disappearing shadow before walking off, followed by the other man
"Woojin? Are you coming with us?"
"I'm just going to stay here for a bit. See if he comes back."
the tallest hummed in approval before turning to walk away
"You shouldn't have lost focus."
as soon as they were out of sight woojin ran over to you and hugged you tighter than you've ever been hugged before
"I've missed you so much, I'm sorry! I'm so sorry!"
you smiled into his shoulder and took a deep breath
"It's okay, as long as you're okay it's all okay."
he pulled back from the hug and looked at your face properly, lit up by the streetlights
"You've gotten prettier, I'm sure!"
you rolled your eyes at him and smacked his shoulder
"Shut up, if anything you've got... handsome.... er???"
he laughed at your attempt at a compliment and stepped back
"It's dark, do you want to come to mine? I live nearby!"
and he did
he lived closer to your college than you did which made you jealous,,, but his apartment was also way bigger than yours with 2 bedrooms which made you even moRE JEALOUS
he went to make you some tea and when he returned you two sat on the sofa, watching tv
to be honest,, neither of you were focused on the tv,, more on how good it felt to be back together again
"I really missed you woojin, I thought you were dead."
you sighed and breathed slowly, your chest heavy
"I wouldn't die on you, you know that."
his tone was serious but he looked at you next to him with a smile
and you felt your heart jump a bit
it hasn't been long since you last saw him but you were sure he'd gotten even more handsome
in fact he was really,,, good looking ,,,
he explained that when he left it wasn't really,,, his fault
his dad was Kang Daniel's dad's, the head of the mafia, old friend, and he'd called in a favour which meant he needed woojin's dad's help
and the area you lived in wasn't really ideal,,,
so woojin moved away and then with all that happened
he managed to get involved in the mafia himself
but he wasn't really heavily involved
not as much as his friends minhyun and jihoon, who were with him earlier
minhyun was higher up,, and jihoon was as good as a trained assassin who watched over newbies like a hawk in case they tried to stray
but woojin wasn't nearly as involved as them
he just did small jobs, jobs that didn't need a lot of work or violence because although he was good with a gun they said he had ""too much of a heart""
and he was totally fine with that,,, he didn't really want to go around doing bank robberies or hits
before long you got talking about yourself, your uni life
when you mentioned your grades you noticed the proud look on woojins face and it made it all worth it
because not only did you make him proud but the grades brought you here where you saw him again
when you mentioned where you live you noticed woojin started to look like he was
,,, in thought ,,,
and he suddenly spoke up before you'd even finished your sentence
"Do you want to live with me? I'm closer and you don't have to pay me rent!"
WELL YOU WERENT ABOUT TO SAY NO
something in your mind was thinking about,,, living with a mafia member would be dangerous,,, but he was low down so you assumed it would be totally okay
also he claimed that you ‘might be recognised by that guy!!!’ and it was protection lmao nice one
and so you moved in together
it was ;; real fun being together all the time again
it was exactly like nothing had change
you'd order takeout like every night and just eat it and watch tv
I mean of course you'd do your work for college too but
it was like the 2+ years without him never happened
but there was one difference
somewhere in your heart, feelings were starting to grow for woojin
not bad ones lol
LOVE
he had gotten so handsome,,, and so caring ,,, and the way he looked at you sometimes gave you butterflies
but he was in the mafia...????!!!!!
that ain't safe
one day you were home earlier than usual, one of your classes were cancelled
when you heard woojin come in,, accompanied by who you assumed were minhyun and jihoon
of course you realised you pROBABLY HAD TO SHUT UP AND NOT SAY ANYTHING BECAUSE THEY DIDNT KNOW YOU EXISTED
so you went and hid out in the bathroom
as you hid,,, you could hear some of their talking
they were just talking about Daniel,,,, really ,,, and his cool penthouse suite in the hq and how jealous they were of it lmAO
as you got bored of their conversing you looked to the side and noticed
boy had literally used up all of the toilet paper
completely forgetting about keeping quiet you sighed loudly and mumbled "every damn time"
uh oh
bad idea
them mafia guys got MAD good hearing
"What the hell was that??"
"It sounded like a person..."
"Uh.... it's the ghost that haunts this apartment??"
nice lie woojin
"It sounded like it came from the bathroom, I'm going to check-"
before anyone could barge in on you, you stepped out from the bathroom and were greeted by the shocked faces of ,,, minhyun and jihoon,,, and woojin facepalming
"Really y/n? You couldn't keep quiet?"
"Why is there a GIRL in your bathroom? I thought you lived alone"
the taller, older one - you guessed he must be minhyun- seemed more shocked and confused than angry
but as for jihoon...
"She isn't one of us. Who is she?"
"She's my friend from before, she goes to uni nearby so she lives in the spare bedroom is that so bad?"
minhyun shrugged and wandered off back to the living room but jihoon looked at you suspiciously
"You know what you're getting her involved in?"
"Yeah."
"Hmm."
and then jihoon was gone too
and I guess that was how you met woojins friends
straight away minhyun started to come over every evening to teach you some self defence
nothing with a gun,,, because that's too much for someone who isn't even part of the mafia,,, but just how to protect yourself from attacks just in case
and every time you'd successfully do something, woojin would have that proud look on his face again
which gave you butterflies
before long you were pretty much perfect at defending yourself
if someone even tapped your shoulder,,, you could have them on the floor in 0.2 seconds
even minhyun was impressed by how quickly you caught on
and so your self defence classes finished
in celebration of your completion, you text woojin as soon as minhyun left to ask him what takeout he wanted
he responded quickly with
"Pizza! I'll be back soon!!!"
and so you got to ordering it
it came quickly, before woojin even got home
and so you went to unpack it, leaving the front door unlocked so woojin could get in easily
as you started to unpack the pizza you heard a faint knock at the door
assuming it was woojin, you shouted to him that the door was unlocked, he could come straight in
you heard the squeak of the door opening and closing, still not turning around from the pizza
and that was when you felt it
a cold knife was pressed against your neck from behind, a gloved hand pressing it close to your throat
before you even had time to process the situation your training had kicked in
you couldn't do much in the way of beating the guy up, but you managed to disarm him and chuck his knife out of the window
as you stood face to face with him, your own kitchen knife in your hand the door swung open and there was woojin
you looked over at him and noticed the complete shock as he pulled the gun from his pocket and the intruder backed away
"Get out!!! Do you hear me?? Get out of here!!"
he waved the gun in the direction of the door and within  seconds the intruder was gone
an odd silence fell in the apartment, with the only noise being the wind through the open door
Woojin looked up at you, a strange look in his eyes
"Woojin-"
he walked straight up to you, holding your face in his hands for a few seconds saying nothing at all
and then his lips were on yours
all you could think about was how much you loved him,, not even what had just happened
he pulled back slightly, resting his forehead against yours
"I really need to stop letting the one I love get hurt."
aha i love writing these

College Library
5 times Will failed at conversation with Nico, and One time he succeeded
1.
The first time Will Solace spoke to the raven-haired kid known as Nico Di Angelo, was in the campus Library. Will had gone into the building to study for an upcoming medical exam and was not planning on basically staring at the skinny boy with an aviator jacket the whole time. However, Will’s life doesn’t always go according to plan.
At first, Will just stared at Nico over the top of his medical book. He’s pretty sure he’s in the chapter about treating broken bones, but it could also be about stitching up surgical cuts. He’s not completely sure.
After about fifteen minutes of staring at the boy, and not actually studying, Will decides he probably should go back to his dorm if there’s a distraction at the library. A beautiful distraction.
Will reluctantly gets up from his table to pack his things, and then he goes to check out the three books he has. On the way to the checkout desk, he bumps into someone as he wasn’t paying attention.
“Oh god, I’m so sorry.” Will stoops down to help the kid pick up the books he dropped. Once Will hands the books back and looks at the kid’s face, he flushes a bright red.
maybe I can ask him to hang out sometime. Yeah. Let’s do that.
However, when Will speaks, all that actually comes out is “Hi, um, I, me, you. Bye.” Which leads to Will’s face flushing a deeper red wine color as he speed walks away from the cute boy with pale skin.
God Damnit. Why can’t I just talk normally around cute guys?
Will doesn’t get his answer that night.
2.
The next time Will talks to Nico is, once again, in the school Library. This time Nico isn’t wearing ripped jeans and his aviator jacket over a black t-shirt. Now, he’s wearing plaid PJ pants, with a baggy AC/DC shirt. His shoes aren’t shoes but slippers, and he has a large thermos, which is most likely filled with coffee if Nico’s twitching is any indication.
All of this is completely understandable as it is currently one am. The Library closes at two, and it seems like both boys decided to get in some late night work done.
Nico, Will notices, seems to be working on some sort of project that deals with Alexander Hamilton as he has about three books on him laid out in front of him, and mini note cards scattered on the table as well.
Currently, Will is sitting at a table close to Nico writing an essay on the importance of African texts for his world lit class. He’d rather be anywhere but here, but he has to finish the essay as it’s due tomorrow or today, and he had put it off until now. He currently has three of the five paragraphs written, and can’t wait to be up in the dorm he shares with Cecil and be asleep. His first class on Thursday isn’t until eleven so he will have time to sleep.
Right as Will starts his fourth paragraph he hears a tiny ‘fuck’ come from the only other person in the library, and he turns to see that Nico had spilled coffee over himself.
Will jumps up, unzips his bag, and pulls out the tissue box he stuffed in there for his cold. He walks over to Nico and taps his shoulder. Nico’s head whips around, eyes hard. As soon as Nico spots will, his eyes go soft.
“Uh, for the, uh, coffee. Um, here.” Will shoves the box at Nico, who takes, giving Will a small smile which makes Will’s lovestruck heart absolutely melt.
“Thanks Will.”
HOLY FUCK HE KNOWS MY NAME!
“Uh, yeah.” And Will once again runs off. This time, stopping at his table to gather his things, and promptly leaves the library. Will can still feel his whole face burning even when he gets back to his dorm.
3.
The third time Will speaks with Nico was, for once, not at the library. Nico was working at the quaint coffee shop that Will had just entered. Nico had on a red apron with the coffee shop’s logo of an espresso cup with steaming coming out of it in the middle. He was working the cash register and Will was very tempted to leave, not wanting to make a fool out of himself for the third time in front of the beautiful boy.
However, it was seven am, Will had a seven thirty class, and his coffee machine was broken. So he really needed this and couldn’t leave.
When Will gets up to the cash register, Nico sends Will a smile. “Hi, welcome to Mischief’s Brewing, what can I get for ya?”
“Uh, A caramel frappe? Largest size you have, please.”
“No problem, Will.”
Will blushes at the unnecessary use of his name, as Nico scribbles onto a cup and passes it to a girl with curly golden hair behind him.
“Um, N-nico?” Will asks, making Nico turn back around to face him.
“Yeah will? What’s up?”
“Well, um, I-“
“Hey, you ordered already, now get out of the way for the rest of us,” A guy says from behind Will. He turns around to apologize but is met with a hard glare from, Will believes, the starting quarterback on their college football team. Then, before Will can get a word out, he promptly shoved aside.
Will rubs his arm, which had hit a pillar, as he goes to the pickup counter to wait for his order.
Will isn’t sure how many more fails he can take with talking to Nico.
4.
The fourth time Will talks to Nico is once again in the library. Will was going over his notes and readings for his medical final in a week when he hears the doors of the library open up and then slowly close shut once again. When the doors clicked close, Will looked up to see who had entered and felt the familiar twist in his gut he gets every time he sees the brown-eyed Italian.
Nico had his messenger bag slung over his right shoulder, his hand gripping the strap. His head was facing down as he looked at his phone, typing furiously with one finger.
Will watched him as he maneuvered his way to an empty table, sitting down, and placing his bag on the chair next to him. Then, Nico tossed his phone into his bag, and a second later he reached into his bag and pulled out mac book.
Will shook his head, exiting the little daze he was in from staring at his crush and went back to studying his notecards.
Even though Will hadn’t looked at Nico since he entered the library, he still found himself constantly thinking of the boy while he silently stared at his studying material.
After twenty more minutes of this, Will decides that he needs to take a walk around the shelves of books. Mostly to clear his head of the Italian, but also because he had been working for an hour and a half before Nico had walked into the library. So, that’s what Will does. He places his phone in his back pocket, after standing up from his chair, and heads off down the rows of shelves.
On his way back, Will notices Nico walking towards him. Which leads to him having a small freak out moment, like usual.
“Hey, Will, I just wanted to apologize for that guy at the coffee shop the other day. Some customers can be real dicks. Especially in the morning.”
“Oh, uh, thanks. It wasn’t your fault, um, like you said. He was a dick.” Will knows his face is red. It always is when around Nico.
They stand there for a couple seconds, waiting for the other to speak.Eventually, Nico does. “ Well, uh, I gotta go. I’m covering Hazel’s shift at the shop. See ya around Will!” Nico waves as he turns and heads out the library, bag flapping against his leg.
Will sighs and heads back to his seat where all of his stuff is. He really wishes he could just talk to Nico, like a normal person.
5.
The next time Will talks to Nico is, again, in the library. It seems to be their designated talking place.
Nico showed up at Will’s table at the library with five books in his arms, and his messenger bag on his arm, nearly falling off.
“Hey, Will, can I sit here? Everywhere else is full and I don’t think I can make it back to my dorm with all of this.”
“Uh, yeah sure,” Will mumbles, a bit shocked that Nico wants to sit with the awkward kid that can’t seem to form a coherent sentence around him. He’s like Marinette with Adrien in Miraculous Ladybug. And yes, Will watches what’s suppose to be a kids show. Apparently, French kid shows are just better than American ones.
Nico smiles gratefully at the blond as he sets his books opposite of him. Once Nico is seated, he takes off the grey beanie on his head and stuffs it in his coat pocket, then proceeds to take off his jacket as it was unusually warm in the building. Not that Will is complaining. So far he’s only seen Nico in jackets and long sleeves. Today, however, he’s wearing a short-sleeved skull t-shirt. Will notices that, while Nico doesn’t seem to work out every day, he does have a bit of muscle. Just enough to make Will even more attracted to the raven-haired boy in front of him.
For the next two hours, the two sit in silence, studying, reading, writing, and just plain working. Will wants to say something, anything, but every time he’s about to speak, he thinks better of it and shoves the idea out of his head.
At the three hour mark, Nico gets up, packs up his stuff, and leaves. But not without a small smile and a “See you later.”
Next time, Will is defiantly asking that boy out, even if it kills him. Preferably after the date, if there is one.
+1
Apparently, for Will, sixth times the charm. He was once again in the library, leaning up against a shelf with a history book in his hands. He can hear feet coming down the aisle, and he looks up to find the boy that stole his heart.
It was a split second decision, but Will is glad he made it.
Will makes his way over to Nico, who notices him as he approaches, and gives Will that same smile he always gets. One that nearly makes Will’s knees go weak.
“Hey Will,” Nico said, standing up from the crouching position he was in.
“Hey, I uh, wanted to ask you a quick question if that was all right?” Will rubs the nape of his neck, a sheepish smile taking over his face.
“Yeah, sure.” Nico faces Will completely, body completely turned to him.
“So, uh, I was. Never mind it’s really stupid.” Will turns to leave, but feels a cold hand wrap around his wrist. He turns to see Nico’s outstretched hand gripping his wrist.
“Come on, you can’t leave me like this. I’ll be wondering for the rest of my life what you wanted to ask me if you do,” Nico jokes.
Will smiles at him. “Alright. I wanted toknowifyoudgoonadatewithme!” Will stumbles out.
Nico blinks at the taller boy, “What?”
Will takes in a deep breath before he repeats what he had just said, this time much slower. “I wanted to know if you would go on a date with me. Please.”
Nico’s smile widens, and he nods his head frantically. “Yes, god yes.”
“Really? You don’t think I’m, you know, weird?”
“Why would I think that?”
“Cause I could never form an actual sentence when I talked to you.”
Nico shrugs, “I thought it was cute.”
Will blushes, and rubs the nape of his neck again, smiling.
“So, dinner, tomorrow at six?” Nico asks.
“I wouldn’t want anything else,” Will replies.
“Good.” Nico leans up and presses a chaste kiss to Will’s cheek. Then he turns around and heads back down the aisle. “See you tomorrow, Will!”
Will couldn’t be happier that he finally spoke to Nico in full sentences.

barista!Jeonghan AU
Reader x Jeonghan
Summary: Coffee shop, non-idol AU, barista!Jeonghan
Word count: 1484
AN: This is my first attempt at a fanfic, it was originally for a friend’s birthday for another idol but I tweaked it a little and thought I’d post it just for fun :)
Special thanks to Vivian @wonuthewhale for helping me edit this a while ago, thank you so much Vivian <3 <3
Jeonghan groggily flicked the light switches on, illuminating the previously dim cafe in the wee hours of another chilly winter morning. He muttered something under his breath about how cold it was and how having to wake up was a pain, but he knew it was worth it, even if it was for minimum wage. After trudging into the back room to change into his apron, he readied the coffee machine, brought out the day’s assortment of food, flipped the sign to OPEN on the cafe door and leaned dazed against the counter, waiting for the early batch of customers to file in.
And they did. Soon, the cafe had its first half-asleep regulars and a small line formed in front of the counter. Jeonghan jolted out of his little slumber and began brewing coffee for college students and businessmen. It was a perfectly normal day, the usual flow of people rushing in and out, carrying briefcases, laptops, paper bags, nothing out of the ordinary.
A couple hours later into the day, a slender girl sauntered into the cafe, cute Prada bag, huge sunglasses and all, and made her way to the counter where Jeonghan stood who was serving a college student craving a doughnut. Shoving her way in front of the doughnut-less student, she batted her ridiculously long eyelashes and stared at him with enormous blue eyes. “One vanilla frappe please, cut back on the cream, don’t want to get fat now do we?” she giggled breathlessly at him, twirling a lock of brunette hair with her perfectly manicured nail.  “Uh, yeah, sure, let me finish serving this customer first,” Jeonghan stammered, gesturing to the sophomore standing beside her who wore a displeased look. “Oh, of course, get your doughnut and run along to class, study hard and go to college, ‘kay?” she smiled insincerely. The sophomore blinked at her in disbelief in unison with Jeonghan and stalked out the cafe, jingling the bell hinged onto the door. “The vanilla frappe? I know I’m gorgeous but you don’t have to look that dazed,” she tossed her brown hair.
“Hm? Oh, I wasn’t st-” Jeonghan found himself stuttering a lot today. A sigh. “Your name, please?”
“Your number on the cup should be fine,” she replied in a sugary sweet tone.
“Uh, my mother took my phone because my grades were dropping, and she thought it was because of girls,” Jeonghan improvised while turning his back to her, securing the lid on the cup.
“Hmph, well your mum should know that there are more important things than school,” she pouted.
“Here’s your drink, have a nice day,” he wanted her to leave. Now.
“Toodles! I will be back!” she said, throwing a final glance behind her shoulder after leaning over to touch his shoulder.
Jeonghan visibly relaxed and returned to his previous position, shifting his weight onto his arm on the counter. As the door chimes jingled, he perked up and straightened his apron. You walked into the cafe, eyes trained on your phone, scrolling down and double tapping cute photos of puppies on your feed and bumped into the counter, not knowing where you were going. “Gahh!” you yelped, feeling the embarrassment burning in your cheeks and seeping into you. You finally looked up, seeing another cute thing, except he wasn’t on your phone screen. He let out a soft chuckle, further fuelling your humiliation. “Great job Y/N,” you thought to yourself. Being clumsy was already bad, but being clumsy in front of a cute guy was worse. You grinned, hoping to make up for your aforementioned incident, requested a milk tea and told him your name after he asked. Plopping yourself down onto the nearest seat available, you pulled out your laptop and papers, the corners of your mouth turning up, happy to have seen some eye candy today.
You heard the clink of porcelain and realised that your drink had arrived. Except it shouldn’t have. You frowned. Weren’t you meant to collect your drink when the barista called your name? Instead, the barista from before had brought your drink to you and tilted his head with a smile.
“Y/N, right?”
Smiling in return, “Yes! Thank you for bringing my drink over, you really didn’t have to do that.”
His eyes twinkled and waved an arm over your laptop and untidy papers strewn all over the table. “Well, you seem to have your hands full with all this.”
You groaned, “Yeah, my English assignment’s due tomorrow and I’ve barely started. What I have is pretty basic.”
“Maybe I can help you with it later, if you’re willing to stay ‘til closing time?” he prayed he didn’t sound too eager.
“A-are you sure? I’ll be here for a while but I mean like, that’s a lot to ask of someone I don’t even know the name of yet.”
“Are you trying to get my name?” He secretly really hoped you were.
“N-no! Sorry if that sounded weird…”
“Alright then, I major in Eng Lit so I’ll do my best to help you.”
“Thank you so much, I really appreciate this,” you beamed gratefully.
“Oh God,” he thought, as if you could get any more adorable.
Jeonghan headed back to the counter and resumed serving customers for another few hours while you tappity tapped away on your laptop, occasionally flashing a look at him.
Rolling his neck, he let out a long breath, relieved to have finally finished the day’s work. Untying his apron, he hung it in the back room, flipped the OPEN sign to CLOSED and waved goodbye to his friend that took the full day with him. You hadn’t realised that everyone had left and now it was just you two in the cafe. Not that you minded. Jeonghan pulled out the chair next to you and sat down, prepared to help you with your assignment.
Time flew by just like in those cliché movies and fanfictions. He was easy to get along with, funny, just as adorable as you thought he’d be and a great help. By the time you typed the final full stop on your essay, you finally looked at the bottom right corner of your screen. “Oh my God, I’m so sorry, I kept you here for so long, thank you so, so much I-” you apologised profusely.
“No problem, it was fun! Where do you live? I’ll walk you home,” he cut you off.
“I live a bit far from here, so I take the bus home, and really, it’s okay, you’ve done so much for me already and you’re probably really tired anyway,” you insisted.
“It’s okay, I live near there too, I’ll be going home in the same direction,” he gently persisted.
You both hopped onto the first bus and took a seat at the back, resuming your conversations from the cafe. You found out that he was from Seoul and strangely didn’t like candy. Singing was his hobby and you secretly hoped the one day you’d get to hear his voice. You chattered on even after getting off the bus, talking a mile a minute, knowing your time with the cute barista boy was running out.
All too soon, you arrived at the doorstep of your house and your brow furrowed. “Again, thank you so, so, much for everything today, I appreciate it so much. Hanging out with you was really fun. Walking me home was too kind of you,” you hoped he couldn’t see you blushing in the dark. “It was fun hanging out with you too. I live just a little away anyway. See you around at the cafe?” he pointed, ignoring the flushing in his cheeks.
“Of course. Oh, can I have your number by the way?” you kicked yourself for being so direct.
He held his hand out for your phone and typed in his number, smiling as he handed it back to you, trying not to shift his expression at your hands touching. “Goodnight, Y/N.”
“Goodnight,” you waved as you shut the door.
As soon as you were inside, you slid down the door, clutching your phone to your heart, thoughts whirling in your head from when he smiled at you to when you realised he made a smiley face in your milk tea. You suddenly opened your eyes wide. You still didn’t know his name. Unlocking your phone, you checked his number and grinned until your cheekbones hurt. “Jeonghan,” you murmured to yourself.
As for Jeonghan, after making sure you were safely inside, he sighed. It was going to be a long journey home in the opposite direction.

Lost and Found (Halloween)
WARNINGS: smut content, mature language.
Part one
"Goddamnit!" Sorry. You're probably wondering why I'm screaming. Well, I'm writing a 10 page essay that is due on monday. And what day is it? Friday. And to make everything even better, its Halloween. I should be dressed in a skanky costume, drinking wine, and dancing. But clearly I'm not doing that. I shove my hands in my hair in frustration. I've been so busy with work and school, I've been completely cutting off the world. It's a terrible habit.
My thoughts get cut off from the doorbell ringing twice. Shit, I forgot that there's probably gonna be kids trick or treating around here. I get up from the kitchen table and shut my laptop. I reach the door and unlock it. But before I get to open it, a figure pushes the door open themselves and slides through. Oh, it's just Taylor, my best friend. She's dressed as a sexy cat and is obviously drunk.
" Where the hell were you?" She slurs her words and almost tips over. I motion towards the kitchen table and say " Studying, duh." I grab her hand and place her on the couch. I walk to the kitchen and pour her a glass of water to sober her up. I also grab some grapes from the fridge and place them onto a plate. With the dishes in hand, I walk back into the living room and set the items down and rub her back. " Why haven't you been answering my calls?" Right as she said that I whipped out my phone and checked the notifications. I had 3 missed calls from her. I emidiatly drop the phone and hug her tightly. " I'm sorry Tay, how did you get here?" I felt terrible for not being able to pick up the phone. " Stop worrying about me, you need to get ready!" Taylor shoes me up the stairs of my lonely condo. Obviously taking the beverage and snack along with us.
----------------------------------------------
" What about this one?" I say holding up a red, sexy, revealing dress. " Yes! That one will look perfect on you!" Taylor said popping another grape into her mouth. I leap over the pile of dresses me and Tay just went through to get to the closet to change.
Once I'm in the dress I plop myself onto my vanity chair. I quickly do my makeup; a red and gold cut crease, concealer, highlighter, matte red lipstick, I complete the look with devil horns in the middle of my forehead. I pull my hair into an elegant bun with a few curly pieces hanging out to frame my face. I slip on some deep maroon and gold heels. Taylor hands me a gold necklace and bracelet. I spray a bit of perfume and toss my keys to Tay. We both walk down the stairs. Tay tripping every step. We slip out of the condo, slam the door and lock it. Tay has already unlocked the car. I get in and we start our adventure to this party that Tay apparently has already visited.
----------------------------------------------
We arrive at the address of the Halloween party. I glance at the massive house that had at least 600 people in it. Damn I regret this. As I was getting out of the car, Tay was already half up the driveway. In the front yard was people playing games on the lawn, and drinking bottles of beer. Ugh gross.
Tay and I reach the door and walk in. We are instantly greeted with sweaty bodies, blasting music, and kissing couples. We manage to weave our way through the dancing crowd toward the bar. Once I take a seat on a bar stool, I realize Tay is nowhere in sight. Eh whatever. I take 2 shots of tequila. Then I make my way to the dance floor. After I'm grinding up on this tall stranger, I forget about everything. All I could think about was how my hips swayed and how tightly the man was gripping my hips. The man takes my hand and leads me towards the wine area. He grabs two glasses and pours some sort of raspberry wine into them and hands one to me. I take a quick sip. " What's you're name darling?" He steps into the light and my god. He is a literal God. He has a perfectly chiseled jaw, plump pink lips, and dark curly hair. " Take a picture it'll last longer." He says in a joking manner when he realized I was staring. I quickly snapped out of my sinful thoughts. " Y/N, what's yours?" I asked trying to hide my blushing face by taking a long sip of my wine. " The names Shawn, my sweet." Shawn, what a perfect name for a perfect guy like him. " Do you wanna go somewhere more private so we can talk and get to know each other?" I nodded and he interlocked his fingers with mine and started to pull me to the backyard. I held my wineglass in one hand and Shawn's hand in the other. He quickly pulled us both into a greenhouse. He shut the door and flipped on the light. Shawn took my wine glass out of my hands and set it on the ground next to us. All of a sudden, he pushed me up against the wall. " Can I kiss you?" Holy fuck. He is so hot I'm like melting. " Please do" As soon as I relaxed Shawn's lips latched onto mine and it was like sparks throughout my whole body. I deepened the kiss and he slipped his tongue inside my mouth. He reached up and slightly tugged on my hair. I moaned and this obviously made him want more because he lifted up my long dress and pulled it off of my body. Once the air hit my back and stomach I shivered waiting to see what he would do next. He looked into my eyes and I dropped down to my knees. I slid his black skinny Jean's off of his long, muscular legs. I came back up and kissed him some more. This time I tugged on his hair and he growled so low it made my panties pool. Shawn's hand glided down my body to the band of my panties and his magical fingers found my sensitive, wet clit. I bucked my hips and whimpered wanting more of his touch. " Hold on darling, you need to be patient for me okay?" Ugh he's such a tease. " Uh huh, oh fuck Shawn!" He put his large hand over my mouth to protect me from making loud noises. Shawn stepped put of his boxers while I took off my panties. He swiftly took the underwear out of my hand and threw them towards his pants. " These are mine now, honey." Shawn said afterwards. All I had left was my bra and I was hoping that he would take it off with his hands. And he did just so.
Now that both of you were naked, shawn had somehow gotten a condom. " Lemme do it for you, papi." I said seductively while taking the condom by the tip of my fingers. Shawn growled at the nickname I had given him. I bent down to be faced with his hard on, dripping with precum. " Fuck darling, hurry." Shawn whimpered and begged. I'm not gonna give it to him just yet.
I took his pretty cock into my hands and pumped him. I ripped the foil off the rubber and slid it on his big cock. I came back up to him and leaned against the door waiting for him to fill me up. " Darling, you have me so hard for your sweet pussy." A shot of pleasure went through your body listening to his dirty mouth.
" Are you sure you want to do this baby?" Shawn asked with his eyebrows furrowed. " Yes I want your cock so bad Shawn, please fuck me." I say getting impatient.
" Your wish is my command, honey." And with that he thrust into you at full speed. " Oh my god, Shawn!" He was the best I have ever had already. And I've fucked a few people. Damn he already had you close. " Damnit princess, you're so tight, I love how you feel wrapped around my cock." God you loved his dirty talk. " Oh, papi ugh- I'm close." I didnt want this to end. " Come on princess, cum around my thick cock, be a good girl." There he had it he hit your g-spot and you came undone. " Oh fuck! Shawn!" I moaned loud and tried to ride out my high. " Good girl, honey. Oh shit I'm gonna cum, fuck." You felt hot ribbons of cum fill the condom.
You both just stood there catching your breath until you finally started to put your dress on and fixed your hair. After grabbing your wine, you and Shawn walked out of the greenhouse and back into the party.
Shawn introduced you to his friends after that. You talked and laughed. At the end of the night, Shawn went with you to find Taylor. Once you found her, you introduced Taylor to Shawn. " Taylor, this is Shawn, Shawn this is Taylor." You smiled at Taylor and Shawn as the shook hands. " Hi nice to meet you Shawn!" You guys had pointless, drunk conversations and then you said your goodbyes.
" Bye Shawn!" You went to hig him and whispered into his ear. " Bye,bye papi. Oh and by the way, I'm not wearing any panties." You said to him. " Bye honey. I'm gonna miss you wrapped around me." Me and Shawn swapped numbers and walked away from each other. As I turned around you winked at him. " Hurry, Y/N!" Taylor yelled at you. You ran after Taylor to get into the car.
Once Taylor and I were on the road, we were having conversations that didn't matter. " I can tell you fucked him Y/N."
Oh shit.
" Why the hell would you think that?!" I new my acting was terrible because I were blushing so hard. Who cares she can see right through me.
----------------------------------------------
Once I reached home, I kicked off my heels. I walked to the kitchen and started the coffee machine, and walked upstairs. Taylor was already crashed in my guest bedroom. I started to get undressed and realized that I forgot my bra in the greenhouse. Shit.
I washed my makeup off, shampooed my hair, conditioned it to, and washed my body. I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my figure. I slipped some gray sweats on and a pink t-shirt.
I went back downstairs to pour myself some coffee. I left my phone here so I checked through instagram and snapchat. Nothing important. I started to sip on my coffee and sat down at the kitchen table. I opened my laptop and went back to work. This being difficult because of Shawn fucking me less than 3 hours ago. Damn I need to see him again. I guess I just felt lost without someone. He's the one who found me. I'm lost and found.

1. If you had to choose, whiskey or tequila? Why?: Living in Scotland now I would have to choose whisky. Firstly, the whisky here is excellent. Secondly, whisky really sends me over the moon! I had it the other night and I don’t remember the last time I was that happy/hyperactive! I also don’t remember much... 2. While doing school work, do you take your time or do you try to get it done as quickly as possible?: With uni work it depends, I usually take my time because I won’t understand it if I go fast. Unless I have a deadline coming up, in which case it’s not my choice. 3. When did you last wear a scrunchi?: A few weeks ago. 4. If you were a writer, what would you write about most?: I think i’d probably write history books and articles. Fiction is my forte with writing but realistically if I had a job writing it would be related to research.
5. Do you sometimes yell to get your point across?: Not intentionally but sometimes when I’m riled up enough.
6. If you get a period, what symptoms do you get when you PMS?: I think my moods get affected, like I’ll be much more likely to lose my rag and cry over something insignificant. I also tend to crave things like chocolate and get hungrier easier. 7. Is there anyone at your school with a cool accent? What kind of accent is it?: Loads of people from everywhere. I have a few south african friends with nice accents, a few american friends (from the deep south), that’s a pretty interesting accent. Also my sexy Italian friend Co who I could probably listen to all day. 8. What is stressing you out most right now?: I have a 4000 word essay due in two weeks I have yet to start, so yes impending deadline stress. I also got matched for a fight in early Nov, so that’s quite nerve-wracking, my first real fight and all. I have less than three weeks to lose 5 kilos and get trained up for my fight. ARGHHHHHHHH. 9. Are you more smart and thoughtful or understanding and kind?: I’m not sure, I guess the latter? People would call me understanding/kind more than smart/thoughtful, though I like to think I try to be all those things. 10. Who last asked you for a favor? What was it?: My friend asked me to call a cab to the club last night 11. If you had to decide, what do you think people envy about you?: My white girl privilege. My upbringing in Greece and the fact i’m relatively well-off. my looks I guess? And my toughness. People are definitely jealous I can kick some ass. 12. If you want to get your crush’s attention, what do you do?: Fight them hahahah. No but seriously...or just talk to them? I’d make sure I look good round them. 13. How long have you been single or in a relationship for?: I have been single for a bit over two months now. 14. Are you closer to your friends or family?: My family and I are very close. 15. Do you know what you’re going to wear tomorrow?: Nope, but I should probably pull out an outfit, make sure I actually get to uni before 9 tomorrow. 16. Do you use white strips or anything else to whiten your teeth?: Nope, I would like to but effort. 17. Are there any special events coming up? What are they?: My fight on the 11th. Mid term break next week! Halloween! Eliotts b-day! Yay!   18. When it comes to strangers, how trusting are you?: Very trusting. Almost too trusting. I mean I’m not a complete idiot (most of the time) but I do believe the best in people and might have put myself in vulnerable potentially dangerous situations in the past. 19. If someone insults/makes fun of you, what do you do?: Knee em in the solar plexus. Or just laugh about it? Or poke fun back. Depends on the insult and who dished it out tbh. 20. What color do you think represents your personality?: Gold bitch. Nah I think a deep purple or maybe vibrant orange represents me. 21. Would you rather drive on a long straight highway or windy backroads?: Long straight highway, my tummy can be a bit sensitive on the windy roads. Though they do tend to be in prettier areas. 23. What is the fastest you’ve ever gone in a car?: Not sure. Over 100 miles an hour. 24. Have you ever seen someone break their bone in real life?: Yes, and I’ve seen my sisters arm snapped bendy like a banana. So disturbing. 25. If you got to choose an animal to disappear forever, what would it be? Why?: Uh, the one in the white house. <-- agreed! 26. What are the keys of your heart?: Food, good sex and laughter. 27. Are you sometimes a control freak?: Not really. Only in the kitchen. 28. If you’re online right now, do you have an away message up? What does it say?: Nope. 29. Do you know what your GPA is?: N/A 30. If you got to pick any winter sport to excel at, what would it be?: Skiing would be awesome. Or figure-skating tbh but I think i’d be better at the former. 31. Does it piss you off when people interrupt you? My flatmate constantly rages about this with me but I swear it’s just a cultural thing. Greeks interrupt each other, and try to talk over each other. Not to dominate the conversation, but just bc that’s how conversations go.
32. What event did you last dress up for? Who went to that event?
Last night. My friends 21st. A bunch of my old flatmates and first year friends.
33. What was the last picture you took with your phone? It’s a selfie. Sorry... i am merely a product of my generation
34. Are you a fashion-conscious person? Where do you buy most of your clothes? I would say so. I love having a unique style and I love expressing myself with my clothing! Most of my clothes are second-hand from my aunt, but I get a lot of stuff from random charity shops, or if i’m buying zara/hnm. 35. Do you have trouble waking up in the morning? What gets you up and awake? Oh man. Such trouble. If I have somewhere to be it’s easy for me to wake up, but if not - it’s impossible. Sometimes my flatmate comes into my room in the morning and brings me coffee to bed.
36. What’s something fun you’ve done this week? Who was there?
So on friday I went on the most fun date. It started in nandos, where we ordered two giant platters of chicken, then we went to a graveyard under stirling castle and smoked a joint on top of this hill. Then we walked home and on the way home, passed a park by my house which has giant swings, climbing frames and a zipline. We climbed up on top of the climbing frame and lay in a swinging basket. Smoked another joint. And THEN we went home and I had the best sex of my life, hands down. He is someone new I have only just gotten to know, a fresher from the MT club. But suffice to say it was the most fun I’ve had all week, and not just because we didn’t run out of things to say the whole night.
37. What’s the last thing you texted someone about? I cancelled a churro date with my friend because I need to study. I know, kill joy I am.
38. When and why did you last blush?
I think I said something stupid, that’s usually the reason anywho.
39. Do you currently have a favorite song? What is it?

42. What, if anything, is hanging on your refrigerator?
 Nada.
43. What is the last illegal thing you did, even the smallest crime? I was cycling in the dark without lights and got stopped by a police car when I crossed a road without stopping. But it was 3 in the morning and I was cycling home drunk after a night out, gimme a break.

English and Greek. and a wee bit of french.
50. Where do your grandparents live? My grandma lives in bridgend, wales and the other two in pelasgia, greece.
51. When is the next time you’re going on vacation? Where to? Nowhere, fourth year fun yay yay yay! I’m going to Greece actually for christmas. And I’m hoping to go somewhere in Europe in the next couple months if I find cheap flights away. I’d love to go to copenhagen or prague.
52. How well do you do in school? How are your grades compared to your siblings? I do okay, averaging on a 2:1 at the moment. My sister is an a star little kid, so she tends to do very well. 53. Does your family eat dinner together? Who does the cooking?
