NOTA DE POSICIONAMENTO SOBRE A UNIÃO GUARULHENSE DOS ESTUDANTES SECUNDARISTAS (UGES)

A União Guarulhense dos Estudantes Secundaristas (UGES) é a entidade máxima de representação dos estudantes do ensino fundamental, médio, técnico, pré-vestibular e EJA da cidade de Guarulhos. Historicamente, junto às suas entidades de base (grêmios), participou de lutas importantes em defesa da educação pública de qualidade, desempenhando um papel fundamental na mobilização, articulação e luta dos movimentos sociais em diferentes momentos históricos na cidade. Atualmente, a entidade encontra-se desativada.

Considerando que Guarulhos é a segunda maior cidade do estado e a segunda com maior número de estudantes matriculados na rede pública de educação, acreditamos que a reativação desta importante entidade municipal deve envolver a participação das diferentes forças políticas que constroem o movimento estudantil na cidade. Portanto, a realização de seu congresso requer tempo, ampla divulgação e mobilização para garantir a efetiva participação dos estudantes.

Na ausência da última diretoria eleita pela UGES, cabe à UPES, como entidade estadual, legitimar a convocação do CONUGES, respeitando os ritos próprios deste processo.

Dessa forma, o conjunto das entidades e movimentos organizados da cidade se posiciona contrário a processos virtuais (que não têm impacto prático nas ruas) e isolados de reativação da UGES. A reativação deve ser feita com ampla comunicação com os grêmios e estudantes, e deve incluir a participação das forças políticas presentes no movimento estudantil guarulhense. Não permitiremos que esta importante entidade seja instrumentalizada para uma manobra política de uma pré-candidatura para as eleições de 2024 ou sequestrada por um setor de um partido político. A UGES deve ser reativada, abraçando a diversidade política que sempre caracterizou o Movimento Estudantil em todo o país. Só assim ela cumprirá seu papel como entidade representativa.

@colection-of-chaos from this post but i didn't wanna start yelling in op's notes about why i think the galaxy's edge uj cake recipe is honestly kinda pretentious

so for context this is the galaxy's edge uj cake recipe

firstly those pieces in the picture are way too big. holy shit that is a brick. this is not a nice light fluffy cake as most people would think of a cake, what 'uj cake' actually is is a BLOCK of dried fruit, nuts, seeds, etc, bound together by essentially caramel. you DO NOT WANT to eat a FIST SIZED PIECE of that

but with the actual recipe, my problem is this: simply not flexible enough. too specific of ingredients. uj cake must have some combination of nuts and dried fruit, possibly other stuff, and it must be somewhat sticky, and it must be shelf stable. if you have met all of those requirements, you have made uj cake

'slivered almonds' my ass, you chuck whatever you have available in a bowl. these aren't cheap ingredients, if you've got half a bag of dried mango or a bunch of snack packs of raisins, toss that in there

i do appreciate the spice recommendation, but again, just kinda do whatever you want. i generally include pepper, ginger, and cinnamon, but its up to you!!

overall it's really not a bad recipe. it's canon accurate, it'll get you an uj cake, there's nothing wrong with it. i just have a firmly held belief that mandalorian 'recipes' are really more of a flexible set of guidelines
