This statement has the potential to change lives. In the social media world I find all too many times the suffering of burnout which could potentially lead to depression. Those who seek living up to a standard that does not fit comfortably within their soul are the ones at risk. Being a child of the 60's I myself happen to be one of those who find difficulty in keeping up with social media. My studio is my happy place and honestly if i were to post every piece that I've made, well i wouldn't have time live. Phases of a woman: As I was doing yard work this morning, I started thinking about three phases of a woman when it comes to dating. Then I started thinking about the phases I have been through. I believe every woman has there own phases based on life experiences. I'm sharing mine and would love to hear your experiences below. __ 1. Untainted Love This phase occurred when you first start dating. You are wide-eyed and open to all of the possibilities that a relationship can bring. Didn't see fault and was extremely naive to the possibilities of a broken heart 2.Angry Love This phase is after you've experienced your ultimate heartbreak. When you've done all that you could but realized it wasn't enough and thought everything was your fault. You eventually get to the point where you're angry at yourself which causes a direct impact on the relationship. You become angry at the thought of love and betrayal. You become a fighter and do things you know you have no business doing. For example, fighting, sneaking around and snooping. 3. Specialty Love It's the phase when weed out the muck. You no longer have a desire to argue. You allow actions to speak louder than words. You accept the person for who they are because you don't have the energy or desire to analyze them. You say what you feel and feel what you say. It's no longer a game of charades. It's easier to accept the relationship for what it is because you no longer have expectations. You are at the point where you give your all to yourself and the relationship despite past challenges. It actually scares you because you know how far you have come to grow beyond the stage of angry love. __ I'm certain as I get older I will experience different phases. I was thinking about the term unapologetic and how it's used today. I realized that it's being used as a term of empowerment and only a select few believe they're living an unapologetic life. I also felt the same way, hence the tagline for my blog. Now, I disagree that it's a select few by the realization that the majority if not all are already living a life without regret. If you think about the basic decisions you make daily such as your health, relationships, and parenting. Wouldn't those decisions be unapologetic? If you think about your why, purpose, or ability to say no regarding areas of your life. Wouldn't those actions also be unapologetic? What are your thoughts? I knew I stepped into my power when I was capable of saying no and not feeling bad about it later. Being a people pleaser and always wanting to be like there were things, relationships, and jobs that I definitely should have said no to, but I didn't. Once I realized that it was okay for me to have an opinion and voice my concerns without feeling like I had no right to do so, I made a lot of changes. The experiences of 2019 have taught me how to be strong. I am carrying that strength into 2020 and beyond. Now, if my intuition doesn't agree with something it doesn't happen. If I feel weird about a connection, I step away. If something said doesn't sound right and impacts me, my family, or others, I let that person know that it's not right. Stepping into my power has allowed me to be the biggest advocate for myself and others.
