Tic Tactic is a very intriguing roguelike deckbuilder game that's coming to Linux with Windows PC. Developer unbreaded’s creative genius is the magic behind it all. Due to make its way onto Steam. Tic Tactic is an anti-chicken propaganda masterpiece coming in a roguelike deckbuilder. And it’s fantastic. You play as a duck—the last of your clan — returning home to find your peaceful pond overrun by a chicken army. What starts as a quest for answers quickly turns into a battle for survival and revenge. Which is evolving into native support.

I’m building the game in Unity. I am definitely aiming to include Linux as a supported platform, though.

It’s a roguelike deckbuilder with a twist: the combat is played on a tic-tac-toe board. Yes, this isn’t your average turn-based strategy. The grid-based battles feel fresh and addictive, with simple mechanics that become beautifully complex as you progress. Here’s how it works: you place tiles on the board, aiming to form a combo (a three-in-a-row). When you hit that combo, your attack triggers, dealing damage based on the tiles used. The board clears, and the battle continues. It’s easy to pick up, but just wait until you start unlocking new tiles.

That’s where the real magic happens. Tic Tactic lets you build a deck of tiles with unique mechanics and effects. Some deal extra damage, while others shake up the board in surprising ways.
