Sans is a Retired (fired) Royal Guardsman that moved to Rudin (Ruins swapped with Snowdin) to protect the people there as an Unofficial Sheriff, Cop person. Like UT sans he’s a very funny guy that likes gags, the whole reason he got fired is that he pulled a prank on the RoyalGuard Captain! But unlike him he genuinely Tries in his job to capture humans (up till he got fired). When he did get fired he made a promise with Toriel to bring any human that falls into the underground, through Rudin to Snowland (Snowdin swapped with Hotland).

Papyrus the Persistent!

The Current leader of the Royal Guard after the old one got into a sort of a banana related prank. Alike UT Papyrus he makes an effort to capture humans but deep down doesn’t want to fight anybody. That doesn’t mean he won’t throw some punches before giving into that thought. He owns a marching band and plays it for comedic effect, usually marching down the street playing intense music during training or when a certain captain fell down a set of stairs.

I like to think that this version of Toriel is a lot more Scatterbrained and Wacky, they get into Hijinks to keep the human out of Royal Guard sight with silly things like Convenient shaped Lamps and such.
