SUMMARY: Picking up directly from the previous movie, vampire warrior Selene and the half werewolf Michael hunt for clues to reveal the history of their races and the war between them.

mod L may or may not have written self-insert fanfic about this movie in tenth grade and said fic may or may not still be floating around the internet somewhere, but I'm certainly not telling.

there’s a “Threesome Flicks” list which somehow includes

American Psycho (2000): The film’s lead has a threesome with two female escorts.

because apparently “threesome flicks” means “has a threesome sex scene”

and

Farinelli (1994): A young castrati has a ménage à trois with his less-talented composer brother.

if by ménage à trois you mean they take turns because they ~share everything~ then sure. most of the movie is...not about that.

and

Underworld: Evolution (2006): A hot vampire threesome (two female vamps and a man) takes place, as the vampires and werewolves battle for domination.

okay no seriously this list is just “has threesome sex somewhere in the background” isn’t it?

but i am delighted to see it includes Café au Lait (see below), because it’s a great movie about a lot of important issues. (although even then it’s not even really about ~sexy threesomes~ as much as reluctant poly living but sure.)

Café au Lait* (1993): A French woman living in Paris gets pregnant by one of her two lovers, and the three form a family.

because how about we don’t give out the literal last scene spoilers, hmm?

i am, however, sad that Y tu mamá también (2001) isn’t listed. i mean sure, the threesome ruins the friendship, but... *points at literal american psycho being on the list*

you will notice how neither of us mention Karla (2007)* which is definitely for the best** because sexual assault trumps Yay Threesome, but since apparently the standards for this list are all over the place (if we’re going by american psycho and underworld: evolution) then, idek. but still...like...ma’am your husband was very much in a movie with a threesome front and center. (and other things, in the same way American Psycho and Farinelli are Mainly Other Things and none of them sexeh.)
