aaaaa the silly!!!

this is a figurine i made of @riximu 's character cantaloupe :3 incredibly fun to make!!

i think i'll make more in the future if i can find out a better way to cut the wood. process below anyway

1. find old cheap piece of plywood or other flat board and draw character on it (WITH AN EXTRA BIT ON THE BOTTOM SO IT CAN SLOT INTO YOUR BASE!!)

2. find log for base and spend 45 minutes trying to saw it down.. only to find out i didn't have to and i could just layer cardboard :|

3. assemble jig saw on your unimat (find out all the blades are blunt and the wood won't cut)

4. hopeless and desperate to find another alternative, turn to a knife and start whittling the plywood (??)

5. attempt to sand it down except it's cheap plywood and it keeps splintering.

6. almost give up

7. cardboard discs with slots in them same length as the wood thing. uhhh hot glue them together and stick the wooden thing in it

8. decorate!! yippee!
