A Few Tips for Converting from Non Sims Games, for First Timers.

Mirror: Dreamwidth.

1. Find out the game's engine. To know what type of file the game files are archived as.

2. Look up the appropriate tool for browsing that archive.

Link - my go-to resources. Info and links under programs - general → converting. Links to tutorials for said programs are under tutorials → converting.

3. Check out how that tool saves the exports.  Look up the right import/export add-on for Blender accordingly. I've noted that info in the aforementioned list.

That's it. You've got the goodies in Blender. The rest is the same as with converting from other Sims games. Links to favorite tutorials for converting from Sims games; Tutorials → Converting.

Okay, can someone help me with this:

I'm making a study about if it's worth to put a solar panel, I know that the radiation in the city has a media of 1478kj/m². But when i look for the minimum radiation for a solar panel, they say it in w/m² and I didn't find a way to convert

There is a way to convert it? Or im wasting my time?

After a year of needing to take a break from my conversion, (Religion was beginning to feel less like a connection with G-d, and I began to stress more,) I bought myself a menorah and candles!!! And I’m starting a free class about Judaism in January!!

I’m coming home, no matter how long it will take me. I may need time to just reconnect with myself, and that’s okay! But the purchase of the Judaica made my heart feel more connected with Hashem than it had in a long time 💙.

It’s a long journey, and it’s a hard journey, but reconnecting to Hashem is all I needed this year.

I signed up to take an intro to Judaism-esque course with my partner at a synagogue near us!!! I'm so excited to do this together! Also, turns out our mutual friend designed the course. Also there's dinner each week!

Also, we became members of the synagogue because the course was less that way, so that's also !!!

Riders of rohan update! This is progress as of last weekend(??). Been crazy busy with school and my wifes bday. So again these guys are a crazy combo of warlord games mouned gaul/celt command, numidian mounted skirmishers, an old citadel viking, and victrix dacians.

Heres my banner bearer, foot and mounted. Still need to give him a bow and throwing spears on foot.

Just a normal rider, basically done with him, just gotta add pants and boots to him on the horsie

Rider with war horn, got to add a bow again. Maybe armour too? But I almost certainly wont.

Final guy, captain of rohan. Still have to add his spears and bow.
