Eventually mecha fractalization will get so advanced that they'll be able to precipitate sentient beings out of their metachemical supplies wholesale. Once we cross that threshold it's only a matter of time before a mech goes MIA with an empty cockpit and starts moving around on its own. Independent minds, and most probably not near human.

That's what we're risking with this proposal - a fully autonomous mecha system capable of self-replication with no allegiance to our people or our species. An epidemic of rogue operators on whom we'll have no knowledge and no control.

No mech will ever be equipped with unqualified self-repair technology under my watch, and any commander or technician who authorizes such a monstrosity in the future will be a traitor to their entire race.

I am unwilling to compromise. Do not contact me on this matter again.

#my characters #its so sad that all of erins character development and kindness is on paper and nothing digital to show her growth #she picks on mason for many reasons and she kinda narrows her eyes at him but its more to squint than to glare #because she watches him from a distance when hes off laughing with others #though they are united on peter being worse than mason at least they can agree no matter what peter is worse #but also masons right arm is metal and she thinks its fascinating bc theres so many high tech prosthetics #why is he using the equivalent of a trash can ? is it some weird flex to not needing advanced stuff?#and its just he was from a poor family and was born with one full arm and then a stump #and he lived a lot of his youth with just one arm so once he got a second arm (installed basically) he went cheap #since he only wanted the other arm to get better jobs cause not many people would hire him with one arm #and he never really cared much about her comments because her lil verbal pokes of #so rogers whod you piss off? the mafia? is actually nicer than stuff he heard as a kid without the fake arm #so he tells her the only reason he has a metal limb is because god knew hed be two strong if born with two arms #and shes like uh huh sure thing rogers #and yeeeeah eventually something happens where mason is injured and erin is panicking #and hes acting like its okay to die because hes a dick remember TRYING to make light of it and she gets so sad #and after hes recovering and better he feels guilty making her so sad and hes talking to her #and she says that she doesnt have a lot of friends and she didnt want to lose one of the few people she liked #and hes just oh.......................... ididntthinkthatwouldbeme #so he starts to be super friendly to her and enforcing the crush that she doesnt wanna own up to #and then she does eventually confess and mason is baffled as to since when and shes like day one? and he just #erin you have got to be kidding me you were glaring at me for months #and shes just i have bad eye sight and im shy what did you expect #he isnt super smart or super stupid hes just exceedingly average

#pdbc #I love him. he’s the sole descendant of a royal family and. if you’ll pardon the pun. is royally fucking things up for himself #he could do so much in life and instead decides to be the next Gordon Ramsay……..such wasted potential #did. did I ever mention that part of him. his clan is called the Ramsay clan after all #he wants to be Gordon Ramsay sooooo fucking bad…….#big theater kid gone wrong energy from him #so many of my posts this year have been pdbc related. it Will happen again.#< (in my defense I’m working on other non-pdbc stuff !! but pdbc stuff is easy to make because I don’t have to think about it)#once I’m not so burnt out I’m really excited to design bingo….not even going to attempt to rn #I hate designing outfits but I’m actually looking forward to his bc he has a horrid mix of royal garments and astereotypical butcher outfit #speaking of butchers. butcher vanity? great song absolutely fits him. cannot stop listening to it #surprisingly him being like. a literal cannibal isn’t even all he does. that’s just a…little quirk of his #like ya’d think him eating people would be more important but nah. he’s a POET and a MAGICIAN 😤😤#I’d say he’s one of the most evil characters but…..kinda all of my characters are #sure bingo tries to eat people and bomb people’s homes but there are side characters who put acid in the water supply and aren’t punished #so bingo’s just par for the course honestly #the best thing he’s ever done is install an air conditioning unit. there wasn’t one before bc Mole (his mom) didn’t like them—#—which resulted in people keeling over from heat exhaustion a lot so. good job for fixing that bingo #it’s the bare minimum but that’s pretty good for him so he can have a round of applause for that #I think I might have mentioned Gerbombs in passing but I love them sm #they’re gerbils genetically engineered to blow up when pressure is placed on them #they’re adorable. thankfully they have no concept of death so they’re just chilling with no worries in the world #before you get sad. Sushi rescued most of the Gerbombs and now cares for them so happy ending #no Gerbombs shall die under her watch. I don’t think I could deal with it if too many Gerbombs died #although they’re called Gerbombs they’re actually more physically close to jerboas #they’re so cute. I should draw a Gerbomb sometime #(I should also probably rename them jerbombs considering they’re not gerbils but ehhhhhhhhhhhhh)

LOVE uk summer sm where my vision goes black after doing basic household tasks in a suffocatingly humid house that is at 40C with no ventilation despite the windows being open . and sleeping with a fan blowing on my face but waking up to the room spinning like ive had a litre of vodka to drink . definitely not lying in bed rn with a cold towel on my head like im 2 years old w a fever . and definitely dont have heart palpitations bc thats weird . i love the sun so much YESSSS YAYYYYYYYYYTTYyyyyy

#also the water down south is absolutely disgusting and never cold or refreshing im genuinely dying .#and im not being dramatic i have lived in the middle east and have seen temperatures rise up to 55C . no joke . but it doesnt feel this bad #and the way acs cost £1k+++ per unit to get installed . like yes let me scrape the trenches of my ass for an extra 10k #also i def not stressing abt the exhibition i have next month and how i havent started building my piece yet bc i cant function .#🎀

my neighbor is a beekeeper and also has Bee Autism and so i have been microdosing bee knowledge over the last year and a half each time we hang out and i already know im going to hear his voice in my head during this goddamn beenado arc going like "actually when bees swarm they are at their least aggressive because they want to conserve all their energy to safely transport the queen so they dont want to sting someone and die"

#i have been with this man when he has lifted a honeycomb frame crawling with bees with his bare hands and was totally fine #he also held the bee frame up to my face so I could smell the honey which #although i was wearing a bee suit was a little nerve wracking but also #it was completely fine #because we had the smoker going to calm the bees and also they were kind of cute???#anyway i know im gonna be mad about Bad Bee Portrayals for 3 episodes in a row lol #911 abc #oh also he keeps his bees mostly at community gardens but #he did install one hive in his 2nd floor apartment in our multi-unit apartment complex #which the landlord absolutely does not know about
