Your post about people not being ready for what it takes to make nijisanji change for the better: totally agree. It's weird bc I've seen some people on Twitter who talk about "hate the company, support the livers" in order to shut down the unsubbing and unmembing the talents and.... then I see that same person rt something about a Starbucks boycott, or a McDonald's boycott, and it's like..... do you... know what a boycott is? What a boycott does? What a boycott entails?

There's a level of cognitive dissonance there that I don't understand. This is a much more organic boycott than the Starbucks or McDonald's boycotts (and thus much more disorganized), but a lot of the principles are the same.

In this climate it really is a herculean task when the whole globe is suddenly watching. When it comes to activist work, human rights protesting and company boycotts there is one truth I believe everyone, even non experienced people, know: It will be uncomfortable and it will be uncomfortable work. And I think people not willing to leave their comfort zones is aiding in shared frustration. especially to people who still hold this sentiment they can somehow save the youtubers. I believe if people truly want nijisanji to change they will have to allow themselves to experience the discomfort and hardship needed to hold a line against corpos and make a real difference together. I've been in support protests where I worked and lived in homeless camps in -30c weather to protest police brutality against houseless people. I've been beat up by police, had bones broken and been assaulted by people at rally's when local injustices have occurred. These are just some examples of my irl experiences. Even I know it's uncomfortable work but I do that work anyway because who else will if we don't stand together to face injustices happening.

Events included visits to onshore and offshore wind farms, information campaigns, demonstration turbines being set up in cities, wind workshops and a wind parade. Many events happened on Global Wind Day (15 June) itself, but there were also events on the days and weeks before and afterwards. In 2012 there were 250 events around the globe and a very popular photo competition.
