I'd say it's because there's less Alterrans here than there is on the Aurora - a welcome respite - but I'm not even sure that's true. Why is the online sphere so oversaturated with Alterrans, anyway? Where do they all come from?

In any case, since people seem reluctant to sit near me in the canteen (I know I don't have much of a leg to stand on here, but it still vaguely affronts me), I need something to do on my phone at lunch. Emails can only occupy me for so long.

CM has fallen for TB, but he is well aware that there's no future for them. His body is too damaged to sustain itself without dual cultivation, but he has seen how BO started to fall apart without it too and in no way in hell he will subject TB to such a gruesome fate. Bear in mind that he is under false assumption that what BO is doing to him is a normal dual cultivation, not some horrible perversion of it.

But CM is only a man and in a moment of weakness he invites TB to his home. He should have known that it is a terrible idea with BO as an active teacher and renowned Elder of the sect who is always THERE, involving himself in every matter, driving CM from his own home in the process. TB being an outsider and a shrewd leech, figures things shockingly fast.

There are a few ways how things an go.

1. A whisper here, a false invitation there and BO is caught in the act, maybe by CMun. CM cracks, revealing the truth. There is a trial and an execution. CMun is devastated that he missed all the signs and red flags. TB is supportive and helpful, finding a way around dual cultivation or usingit correctly. It would have been a long road to recovery if not for the war.

2. TB just kills BO. By poison or his daggers or maybe with his bare hands. He quietly disposes of the body and fabricates a convincing alibi. And when frantic CMun calls upon him for his medical skills, begging him to treat collapsed CM, he is ready. By this point he probably invented some kind of treatment to significantly ease the symptoms without depending on dual cultivation. CM would cry of sheer relief. He sends TB a knowing gaze and a dazzling smile and they never talk about the matter until the very end.

Pronounced shoulderblades moved beneath his white dress shirt, like wings trying to escape underneath pale skin. Between graceful, mechanical, and grotesque.

He'd missed a few strands, but his hair was tied back, and he finally turned back toward Kazuki. He was squinting slightly, Kazuki noted, probably from adjusting to the light that now invaded his blue eyes directly.

hi!! i was wondering what sharpening settings you use for your 911 gifs? they’re so clean!!

honestly the way i do this is probably unnecessarily awkward but first i add smart sharpen at these settings: amount 500%, radius 0.5 px

then i duplicate the layer set the opacity of the duplicated layer to 25%

next i add gaussian blur at radius 0.7px and noise with an amount of 2.5% to the duplicated layer.

lastly i use smart sharpen again on the original layer with these settings: amount 10%, radius 10px and i repeat that final smart sharpen again at least once and sometimes twice. this is what the layers look like in the end:
