I was actually super excited to do this since I came to Aachen and I really liked the experience 💕

Vaal Hazak is my second favorite monster. They silly, the little maintainer of the Rotten Vale. Buddy's the opposite of a roomba.

Sunday afternoon in Vaals 🇳🇱

For those who don't know, Vaals is a really small city on the border between Germany and the Netherlands. It is considered a Cittaslow town, a place where the city council actually takes measures to invest in life quality by reducing traffic, preserving green areas and historical buildings, etc. There are not many Cittaslow cities outside of Italy (where the concept started), so it was a pleasure to find myself in one.

I could enjoy a glass of cold dutch beer at a small café owned by a really sweet gentleman. From there I could see children laughing and playing on the street with their bikes while a lot of old pals discussed in German on the tables around me. It was just super nice 💕
