:3 How about some glennry thoughts? When did you first start shipping them? What do you find so appealing about it? How do they play out in your head?

I DONT REALLY KNOW... WHEN I STARTED SHIPPING THEM BHDBHJB i really liked polydads right off the bat because it was just like... a ship i knew existed and it was polyamory. which. thats all i need. i love polyamory. and so i kinda just liked all of the ships within that right off the bat as well!! i think they ended up coming up as my favorite dynamic within that because i just kept thinking about like, parallels between them. their relationships with their dads, their love of music and specifically the guitar, the way they put their sons first and then get punished for it, the way they were so cruelly treated by the forgotten realms. its interesting to me :')

for the general appeal of them, that actually fits a lot into how they play out to me! with most s1 dndads ships, i like it more when they kick off post-s1, but glennry i think are just like... in love for most of odyssey bhjbghjbdjhgbhj i dont think they act on it, theyre too busy Saving Their Sons, but theyre both very aware of it and so it kicks off very soon after the end of s1. ive always liked the thought of glenn kind of couch surfing between the other three dads' houses but after a few months, he ends up basically moving in full time with the oak-garcias. the twins absolutely adore him and treat him as a third parent (though i think they'd call him uncle glenn or just glenn rather than dad or anything), lark especially loves having him around even if he seethes at the reminder that glenn is involved with his dad. glenn settles in awkwardly but contently, integrating into their lives, existing in a space thats so welcoming and warm and different from his life before... sobs cries and wails
