I learned that sometimes the love of your life is 1500 miles away. Sometimes you realize you want to be together right as a literal plague shuts down the entire world, closes all borders, slow downs bureaucracy and doubles the cost of living for the subsequent years. Sometimes y’all take a 6-month detour because Eldest Daughter and son-of-BoyMom traumas [respectively] need to be addressed and soothed before you can go any further. Sometimes you gotta work all that out, save up together, and follow through.

All is well.

There is a very good chance of that.  Most of us on the list find it hilarious but some of the people were pretty hurt by it.  The fandom is such a clusterfuck.  I’m rather glad to be moving away from it.

the getting up from sitting part would be worse than the standing :( i do have a shower chair, but as it’s not already in the tub, in this case it wouldn’t have helped
