Little thing i worked on recently after watching varmints episode once again!

I started learning 3D not so long ago and this is my 4th piece

I’m crazy tired Marceline, i think i have been for a long time.

Is one of my favourite quotes from all adventure time episodes, it’s not even complicated or very interesting but the tone bonnie says it in makes me feel some type of way

Was gonna call it a night but I'm feeling perfectly toasty so one more for the road. Varmints! The return of Bubbline! There were a few short interactions before then, and the episode Sky Witch in s5, but otherwise Marceline and PB spent YEARS apart between meaningful interactions! WWM caused the gay shipping storm! Tons of discourse! Channel Fredarator drama! I was theereeeee! It was awful! But not only had the discourse cooled down by this episode, so had societies views on homosexuality with acceptance and social awareness becoming "in". In fact, this episode came out in 2015 - when gay marriage was finally federally legalized. And so, Bubbline returned more heavily to Adventure Time in the coming years, subtext and all (and eventually that subtext became text).

it's crazy that Marceline basically has Jake's powers she just usually uses them to turn into variations of werebats but moments like this show she can basically use her transformation the way he does

I remember liking the bubbline interactions in this episode but finding the execution kind of weird. On rewatch I feel similarly... the whole... monster varmints thing just felt a little dry. Sort of copying things - alien, The Fly ep of BrBa - but never doing anything interesting with that. I liked the bits of backstory we got for bubbline this ep, I just wish the setting were better.
