so today i got my atar (this is a rank of my results against all the students in the state who completed high school this year, used to determine university admissions, for all you non aussies!) and i’m still sort of in shock. My results exceeded my expecations by a lot (over 3 points higher than what i thought was the ABSOLUTE maximum i could get)! It goes to show that hard work really does pay off!!! To all my fellow vce kids - WE DID IT 💗💗

Term 3 is already killing me and I’ve been back 4 days. I have too many SAC’s in the next few weeks and I can’t wait for high school to be over honestly. I didn’t have a very productive holidays, despite what I wanted, so I’m gonna be overloaded in September. Also, I’ve started watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine and I feel that it’s really bad to get so invested in a show this close to the end of school but whoops. Not long to go now! To all other Year 12’s, let’s push through the remainder of this year.

*Update since last post: I tore a ligament in my foot about two months ago because of netball and let’s just say I’ve never felt pain like that before, and it happened at the worst possible time as well. Damn sports.*

99 days til exams

Today was pretty … meh

Like, overall it was a good day. But nothing really stood out.

I was well enough to go to school, so I didn’t fall behind on anything (I think)

I got my English Analytic Commentary back, so I read through that feedback. It was actually pretty helpful for once, and now I know how to improve in time for next week’s Eng sac.

I also got my French story back, but that was awful.

I just feel that I am suffering a bit in terms of what to do. Like, I don’t have many tangible things to do, it’s getting more revise-y. I did about 2 accounting questions.

I’m just glad because we have Friday off, so I’m planning to get a lot done then

heyo study community! i was wondering if you guys have any advice on how to push through and keep studying when your mental illness is playing up? i’m in the middle of the exams that determine what uni i can go to so i can’t afford to just stop studying!!!

i have practise exams all school holidays, then my actual exams in just over a month! the only thing motivating me at this point is that it will all be over in 2 months and fingers crossed i will have done enough to get into university 🤞

Today, it marks 100 days until my first exam.

However, I was so sick that I had to stay home from school and barely got anything done.

I did a review test for Psych? 
That’s it… I just watched movies and crocheted.

I have a Business Management SAC on Thursday and I don’t feel prepared whatsoever even though the post-it notes on my wall and the 7 pages of notes make me feel like I am. I’m stressed as anything because I had an Italian oral SAC today that I didn’t do as well as I hoped in, a Further SAC that I have two periods left of and I don’t know if I’ll finish in time, the GAT next week and then an English Language Analysis SAC. Can November please just hurry up so this year can end!
