I just like to imagine that at least three times a week, Felix wakes up with Djinni butt in his face because they're crawling all over him like cats.

(If we don't get to see Felix in GS4 with his army of Venus Djinn I'm going to be disappointed.)

I think my reply got eaten up by Tumblr on your golden sun post but I am loving it so much, I absolutely love how I don't care if I don't know which town to go to, I love how my strat has been for Isaac to cure after every battle (I just got water girl I forgot her name but I love her), I love how I don't know the most optimal strats for djinn, because it's been so fun swapping them with each character to see synergy.

I saw you say Isaac is ground, garet is fire, Ivan (? I think that's his name I feel he's a blorbo) is wind, and water girl is (obviously) water? Does that mean I stack each djinn of the same element on the characters?

I stopped myself from playing it this morning because I knew I would have lost track of time and missed my puzzle day with friends.

I feel like after I've experienced the 2 games I will want to consume any and all media connected to it.

I think the fact that Camelot made it so your lead protagonist is a essentially a paladin was super smart.

It makes it so Isaac has a multitude of capabilities and roles you can use him as throughout the games but ALSO showcases that he's a caring person that, while often forced to use his weapon to defend himself, he's equally capable of healing the harm done. It's thematic AND functional!

You do NOT need to give each party member a Djinn of the same type. In fact Golden Sun ENCOURAGES YOU to switch/swap and mix/match them with different elements to give your characters new skills and stats they otherwise wouldn't without.

As you get more Djinn you're able to rank up the classes for each character as they stand in Mono-Element types.

Case in point, Issac goes from Squire > Knight > Gallant > Lord > Slayer as you find more Venus/Earth Djinn.

BUT by adding different Djinn you can unlock Dual-Element classes for him like Dragoon by mixing 3 Mercury/Water Djinn and 3 Venus/Earth Djinn.

And there's a WHOLE BUNCH OF COMBOS! So experiment! And later on in the series you can do Tri-Element combo classes!

Build your characters how you want!

I'm glad you're enjoying it BUT ALSO when it comes to any and all media connected to it... you'll find yourself scraping the bottom of the barrel. Aside from a few little (not-really-canon) comic things, the only real Golden Sun content is just the three games.

Kalos (Pokemon France) has fucking pandas, ninja frogs, lions (you could argue that the lions fit historically but I'm not that nice), nekomata, frilled lizards, Amargasaurus (found in Argentina), luchador hawk, pumpkins, ice burgs, and Norse mythology legendaries

why are the fucking 3 Musketeers legendaries in pokeAmerican and not pokeFrance?

Alola (pokemon Hawaii) has fucking tigers, toucans, yeti, wolves, red pandas, lemurs, orangutans, mata mata turtles, lion legendary, and koalas

Do you play an instrument? If I told you I remember the basics of playing cello and guitar but haven’t played either in years would you count that as playing an instrument?

Favorite book character?  Ooh, tough call, but I’d say it’s a solid tie between everyone’s favorite disaster djinn Bartimaeus because he is a solid mood like 65% of the time and....You know I’m not gonna get into the specifics of why Kimmuriel is my favorite Legend of Drizzt character let’s just leave that on the shelf.  Also fair’s fair since incoherent nominated some of their original book characters I’m gonna nominate my main man, my ever-increasing problem, Aydın Karga.

What’s your star sign? Oh, oh, I’m about to be your worst fucking nightmare because I know half my star chart because astrology is a fun game to me like tarot and runes.  I’m a Sagittarius sun and a Leo rising, with a Taurus moon, Virgo mars, and Scorpio venus.  It means absolutely nothing I just like to brag that I can rattle all of it off.

Favorite color schemes? I love black with vibrant fall tones, rich blues and greens matched with silver...gold and purple....I’m just listing the color schemes I slap on characters at this point.

Naps or long sleep? Usually long sleep but I’m prone to hour long migraine naps.

What languages do you speak? I speak predominantly English but I can read and write passably in French since I minored in it.  My conversational skills are kind of rough though.

Dreams/aspirations? Okokokok look I want to work in a museum and write books on the side but I also wanna live in one of those converted watermills with chickens and ducks and goats and a garden.  I want both.

Long hair or short hair? My hair is so long I can almost sit on it and after several questionable styles I refuse to let any of it be shorter than chest-length unless I’m doing an undercut.

Tea or coffee? Understand that an entire shelf in our pantry is dedicated to my collection of loose-leaf tea.  I also collect teapots.  I have a problem.

Bring a book character to life or go into the fictional world? Okay yeah Faerun and Teyvat are hellscapes full of monsters but hear me out: no one’s gonna stop me from saying “I wanna live in the woods” with “can you afford to live in the woods”?

Esther:

Actually the best way to beat Saturos and Meradi two times is by using the djinns, Ground and Flash. Flash can nullify the severity of a powerful attack at a massive scale, and Ground can paralyze an enemy for one round. Meanwhile just use Ivan and Mia to attack and summon. After like several minutes……..

BULLSEYE. The most unlikable duo have been defeated for the last time!

Wait Felix is continuing with their plan? He better not……..!

What’s happening to the lighthouse!?
