[swishing TMAGP 005 around in a glass] Mmm, yes, the Beholding terroir is undeniable, but I'm sensing faint notes of Terminus, and with hints of TMA 110 and 136 I must wonder if it was bottled by The Mother Of Spiders? An interesting bouquet, nonetheless.
A bit of filming video by Ruth Dodds. (Closed Facebook group.)
[Video description. Jenny, Helen (with the baby carriage), James, Tristan, James, parents, Helen's Dad, Mrs. Hall, and Siegfried walk down the past the pub and turn the corner toward Skeldale House. Helen has a moment of difficulty getting the pram onto the sidewalk. A few extras walk by. Helen's dad comes back the other way and walks speedily into the pub. Tristan runs a little fast into the pub. James runs into the pub. Finally, James' dad and Siegfried walk nonchalantly into the pub. End video description.]
i redesigned this shirt and now you can put it on your body
here it is, the final culmination of my fun cool graphic design project where i replace cities with 8balls!! If you want to follow along the process you can check out these posts: one, two, and three :D
if you are interested in wearing this as a shirt i made a teepublic! you can also download the files from google drive if you would like to print the design yourself
thanks for following along!! i have really had a lot of fun doing this (and just following 2our in general, the vibes were sweet) and i'm glad other people enjoyed it too :)
US political parties vs German political parties is such a wild contrast bc in the US you have 2 parties plus a handful of smaller ones that (afaik) never get elected, meanwhile in germany you have a bajillion parties (with of course some more major ones but at least 6).
So you get campaign posters for shit like the ~eternal youth party~, asking you “where do you want to live in 800 years” bc their main/only campaign point is wanting to make people live for thousands of years.
apparently the reason Beloved Pirate Site hasn't set itself up with a new domain name is because within the last couple of weeks it was presented before congress or some shit as an example of a pirate site
so it's either laying low until it can set itself up safely again after the heat dies down
or i will have to find an alternate site that doesn't tell me it has exceeded the bandwith or whatever and will only continue with a premium membership (fuck right off Popular Numbered Pirate Site)
that is to say
the star trek marathon is on hold until further notice
a thought on promotional signage in and about libraries:
if you as a librarian are not viscerally uncomfortable with how inadequately specified, contextualised and elaborated the information in your poster is, it almost certainly isn’t punchy enough.
