Sholto coming to Sherlock and John's wedding and pulling Sherlock off to the side telling him that "he deserves happiness, and you make him happier than I've ever seen him. I really am happy for you both". Sherlock thanking him and stealthily changing the seating arrangement to sit Sholto next to one of John's cute, single rugby mates.

but image a tiny little sherlock thinking about all of the animals that don’t have homes and the bees and all of the animals that are going extinct and the whales and he starts crying and has to go and sit in john’s lap and be held by john to calm down

Sometimes when Sherlock feels lonely and the noise in his head gets to be too much he'll curl himself up into a ball on John's lap, gripping the fabric of John's jumpers and nuzzling his nose into John's chest, inhaling the comforting scent of John's laundry detergent and shower gel. John will simply hold Sherlock, one hand running through Sherlock's curls until the noise in his head quiets and he can finally sleep (◠ω◠✿)
