1860′s and 70′s Victorian British uniform. NOW AVAILABLE.

Full credit to @javitrulovesims for the mesh. The uniform will not be overridden in the new download, the Prussian uniform swatches will remain intact. This is simply an add on of 8 British uniform swatches to the pre-existing 4 swatches of the Prussian uniform. 

The uniform also comes with two hats seen in the pictures above.

Works well with @viktorviolettaenterprises historical military weapons and poses.

Edwardian evening dress #2

They are inspired by the edwardian period, but can be used in any formal occasion since. It’s a recolour, you need to download the original mesh by @sifixcc.

Allerdale Hall

Crimson Peak is one of my favorite movies and the set design is gorgeous, so I decided to do the house from the movie. It’s fully furnished and the movie doesn’t take us through every part of the house, so some rooms I’ve made up. I’ve tried to be as accurate as I can to the movie, but not everything translates to the Sims of course.

Rooms from the movie featured are the multi-story entry hall, the great hall/library, the master bedroom, Lucille’s bedroom and Thomas’ workshop in the attic, the kitchen, the basement, and the spooky bathroom. I also put Thomas’ machinery outside and four tombstones.

I’ve added a ballroom, three sitting rooms, two bedrooms, a couple bathrooms, and a dining room. I wish I could put more pictures on here because I’m so proud of it, so check it out!

As for the time period, the architecture of the house is a mashup of several periods, but the decor is largely 1870s-1900 I’d say, so it’s best for that. :)

*you need move objects on and for some reason there are floating spandrels in the great hall that I can’t get rid of.

Historical Maids

We can’t have our wealthy scrubbing floors can we? A fellow tumblr suggested that I make historical service uniforms, (not a request)

  First there’s Victorian or Edwardian, from left to right there’s house maid uniforms, they use to clean during the day wearing something simple then they'd change to their formal black and fancy apron for the afternoon, then there’s three cook or scullery maid uniforms.

I also made them for the 20s too!

The mesh I used for the long ones is that fancy dress is from the holiday pack. I assumed almost everyone has it.

Agatha - Oh really? I didn’t know that you were getting paid to stand around in the kitchen and gossip. Why don’t you go and actually do your job and set the plates for Master Florence and Lady Florence.

Lizzie - Yes papa. Everything is okay. I think I may be looking a little pale as I haven’t left this house in a few days.

Stephan - Ah yes that may explain it. I’ll get Charles to send for a carriage tomorrow. You are free to visit wherever you wish as long as it is in Worsley and is a respectable place. I’ll send for Charles.

Theodosia was setting up Lizzie’s bath tub in the hopes of calming her nerves.

Lizzie - Did my father tell you that I am going out tomorrow?

Theodosia - No Milady he didn’t. Where are you going?

Lizzie - I’m not entirely sure yet. I think I may visit Emilia and her family.

Theodosia - Emilia Green?

Lizzie - Yes. Emilia is being courted by this handsome gentleman and she thinks that he’s going to propose soon!

Theodosia - Well I hope you get to see her tomorrow Milady. I’m sure that the water is getting cold. Let’s get you out and ready for bed.

As Theodosia got Lizzie ready for bed Lizzie told her all about the Green family

As it became late evening the non servants in the household were either getting ready for bed or already in bed.

Theodosia - What is the matter Milady?

Lizzie - I know that you have assured me but I’m still so scared that someone is going to find out!

Theodosia - We have been over this Milady. No one is going to find out.

Lizzie - But what if they do!

Theodosia - It is late and you have to be out tomorrow. Please just go to sleep. Everything is fine and nothing is going to happen. Okay?

Lizzie - Okay...

Theodosia - I love you.

Lizzie - I love you too Theo.

Theodosia helped Lizzie into bed. To help her fall asleep she lied with her and didn’t notice when she herself started to drift off.

(This is horrible because I did it really quickly. It’s also super cringe  . Also I know that they would of been eating a lot more than what they had at dinner. I just couldn’t be bothered to do it. I will actually give them a more accurate meal in the next part)

Another 4t2 conversion for our boys! 6 colors from @simstomaggie adorable Fitzwilliam suit for CM.

While the knees are grey in these photos, that has since been fixed so that they are skin tone. No need to worry! I was just too lazy to retake photos lol.

Okay, this 4t2 conversion was a doozie, and it still isn't close to perfect. But I think this is as good as I am capable of getting it for the moment. While there are some imperfections to this conversion, I will 100% still use it because boyo outfits are always lacking. Besides, we can't let @simbury do all the heavy lifting, can we?

For some reason the vertices around the lapel and jacket had big gaps when I imported it to Milkshape. It was truly a nightmare getting this together, but I just loved @theroyalthornoliachronicles's TS4 version so much that it was worth the energy.

She's got Victorian black boots, she's got fat morphs, she's got pregnancy morphs . . . Robe de Alexandrine is here for TS2 AF, and she may be my favorite thus far!

I can't thank @theroyalthornoliachronicles for creating the TS4 version. I have moped about not having proper dresses for balls, and, well, problem solved! The neckline is a thing of dreams!

@simbury finally cracked the code on why I couldn't get morphs to work. From now on, my outfits will have fat and pregnancy morphs, and it's all thanks to her kindness!

Creating this beauty in only 8 colors is probably a crime. How is everyone feeling about my selection of 8-10 colors for each outfit? I don't want to clutter your outfits tabs, so I've been hand selecting Historian palette colors that I think fit the dresses and eras best. Welcome to feedback, as always!

A foray into AF nightgowns! This Sifix Agneta 4t2 conversion comes in 8 pastels (and one original magenta). I was nervous about the shoulder ruffles, but I do think they've really come together!

What I'm working on for my next projects: getting fat and pregnancy morphs to show up in game, as well as age conversions. I'll release it for TF once I've got those down pat.

My first AM 4t2 conversion! I give you the beautiful Piteous outfit from HappyLifeSims. You can see the original TS4 version here.

I redid this outfit so many times, but I'm finally happy with it. It obviously isn't perfect, as I'm still learning, but I think it's wonderful enough that I know I'll use it for so many of my upper class men. It comes in 10 colors (two of which are patterns).

I owe many, many coffees and such to @simbury and @yandereplumsim for their advice. This would not exist without you.

Robe de Dorothee is one of the most beautiful things I've seen @theroyalthornoliachronicles and @buzzardly28 create for advent thus far. The scalloped layers, the peter pan collar, the subtle décolletage details: this dress has it all. Outerwear has been a selection that really lacks in the mid-19th century for The Sims 2--I often end up just using Regency outerwear half the time. This AF 4t2 conversion is available for outerwear only, but I think would also be suitable for everyday wear in the wintertime.

I cannot thank the original creators enough. This is just stunning. I cranked this out before my next Victorian Sims Challenge on Youtube because I simply *needed* it for my Christmas special.

Something for the kids! Today, I bring you a 4t2 conversion for CM. Much thanks to @theroyalthornoliachronicles for the original Nuit Garcon nightshirt/pajamas for boys. I think I've done a much better job deleting unnecessary body parts from this outfit from my previous. We're learning as we go, folks. Comes in 6 colors--one original to the TS4 version, and five from the historian palette.

I struggled HARD with this 4t2 conversion (tbh story of my life this week--it's been a rough one) and extra hard with this texture. There are definitely some imperfections, which are especially noticeable in the Poe color (black). I think the most successful color is Van Gogh (yellow). There is a weird spot on the right hip that I'm thinking is a vertex issue from Blender or Milkshape, but I just don't know how to fix it. It's less noticeable in lighter colors. I will probably revisit this mesh in the future to do some fixes, but I'll still be using it in the meantime--especially the yellow. Enjoy at your discretion! I've only included 4 colors because it gave me such a headache.
