Alcina going from “CASSANDRA!” All loud and bellowing to softly saying “Cassandra?” Shows that she usually feels bad/guilty about being too hard on her middle daughter.

Like, it doesn’t even last long because mama feels guilty and she wants to make it up to her so she calls out for her (all soft and nice). Now Alcina is certainly not the type of mother who’d apologize out right, but she’d call for her daughter and act super nice and her daughters know that this is her way of saying she’s sorry.

I started a sketch when I watched the first episode of his minecraft series and decided to finish it. I love the cherry biome, and his house and little bridge is really cute, so I figured it was a good excuse to practice backgrounds and also having people in scenes.

I think in the next Animal Crossing, you should have to earn your control over the environment. And I don’t just mean working to get terraforming, I mean, like, earning it before getting to decide where other people’s homes are and stuff.

Idk, the deserted island is fun but I kind of hope in the next one we’re back to being a new face in an already established rural community. And you can still progress to moving absolutely everything on the map and decorating each square foot and flower to your liking, but, like… these other people have lives of their own.

I like knowing a rando isn’t gonna move onto my carefully curated flowerbed and ruin my path, but I don’t like how much the villagers in ACNH feel like fashion accessories rather than neighbors.

Tierra Whack Celebrates Debut Album’s Release at Webster Hall on Friday Night

Tierra Whack – Webster Hall – March 15, 2024

Philadelphia rap queen Tierra Whack has been getting the party started worldwide with her infectious rhymes for several years now. (It’s probably only a matter of time before she graces the multipurpose-room stage on Abbott Elementary to battle Tariq Temple at a F.A.D.E. showcase.) Whack channels creativity and visual aspirations into her poetic lyrics and the videos that accompany them. From the Grammy-nominated video for “Mumbo Jumbo” to the recent Alex Da Corte–directed “27 Club,” her flair for fashion exudes further joy and pop, as witnessed on World Wide Whack, her debut full-length. She celebrated its release Friday night at a sold-out Webster Hall.   

With a large inflatable of the World Wide Whack avatar occupying a third of the stage, the rapper appeared adorned in her silver clown suit mirroring the attire from her album’s aesthetics. Opening with track one from her latest, “Mood Swing” appropriately began with  “I’ve been trying new things.” Throughout the show, the crowd indulged in a call-and-response, which warm-up DJ Kill Sing kicked off with a cry of  “worldwide” and requested the “Whack” reply. The admittedly nervous singer would cover the majority of the new songs, from the bounce-inducing “Ms Behave” to the melancholic “Two Night,” Her confidence building thanks to the supportive crowd, Whack effortlessly weaved among rap, pop, and R&B with her new material. On lead-single “Chanel Pit,” music box melodies danced amongst the spits of cultural references, like Vin Diesel and Resident Evil. Closer “27 Club” grooved to more R&B vibes for a downtempo, contemplative swan song, enrapturing the front row. 

Tierra Whack didn’t leave her stans without a trip down memory lane, including fan favorites like the bop “Pretty Ugly” and “Fuck Off,” which elicited raised middle fingers across the room. Everybody on the floor happily sang, “He likes my diamonds and pearls,” along with “Hungry Hippo.”  For the first time live, Whack performed her section of Lil Yachty’s “T.D.” before calling it a night. Despite the house lights turning on and exit music playing, everyone stayed put, chanting, “World Wide Whack,” leaving the stage crew unsure if they should halt operations. DJ Kill Sing indicated it might not be the end to this unforgettable night, as a wigless Whack returned to confess she was already shedding her costume. The crowd-manifested encore had the Philly native run off “Peppers and Onions” atop the barricade, before dropping to the floor amid her rabid admirers. —Sharlene Chiu | @Shar0ck

I passed this building in 2021, liked it, snapped it.

Grade 2 listed. Built 1835. Served as a village school 1835-1934, then as the village hall but due to lack of use was sold by the church as a home in 2020 - more of our heritage lost.

so reworked villager breeding- is it based on where the villager is FROM (ie their skin) or where the villager IS?

only swamp villagers sell mending. so do i need to breed two villagers in a swamp and then take it home to get mending? or can i simply take a plains villager into the swamp and lock in the trade while its there to take home?

For HTP, are there villagers or piglins in Hels?

yes to both! villagers are very rare tho, only the best and well-equipped communities can have them (like hels tek, thru their sponsorship from alisker, uses them in an iron farm). it’s a little like the passive mob situation; all the villagers near spawn were cleared out long ago, only a few remaining that are fiercely protected bc hels players will try to steal them or just kill them out of spite. ofc there are more villages out there in hels, it’s an infinite world, but any hels player who went far enough to find them prob wouldn’t even try to bring any back.

piglins are a little more common bc they still spawn naturally but it takes a lot to protect a trading set-up or gold farm. hels tek installed a piglin bartering system for alisker, which he can protect bc he’s got a lot of manpower and no one in new helington would cross him. but for random hels players out on their own, they’d hardly have time to finish the project before someone else would come along and destroy it for fun.

Wooo trading halls are one tricky thing to get good screenshots of dflkjh. But here's my librarian hall! I wanted an excuse to use a different copper stage that wasn't the fully aged one. Highly inspired by a Mythical Sausage video on trading halls.
