Puthandu.
Puthandu also known as Puthuvarudam, Chithirai Thirunal or Tamil New Year, is the first day of year on the Tamil calendar and traditionally celebrated as a festival. The festival date is set with the solar cycle of the lunisolar Hindu calendar, as the first day of the Tamil month Chithirai. It falls on or about 14 April every year on the Gregorian calendar. The same day is observed elsewhere in South and South East Asia as the traditional new year, but is known by other names such as Vishu in Kerala, and Vaisakhi or Baisakhi in central and northern India.

"Y-Yes-yes! Will inform-tell Clanlord Ferrik immediately, I will-shall!" the messenger squeaks out obediently, rolling up the scroll again and placing it back into its container as he scurries back out of Clan Vishus' lands.
== 1 WEEK LATER ==
It would take some time for any convoy to travel from Karak-Varn all the way back to Skavenblight, judging by the distance between the two realms. But after about a week, words reached Warlord Skreech that Ferrik's banners were spotted in the distance. A small entourage of Ferrik clanrats were all scurrying around a HUGE, hulking 7-foot behemoth of a Skaven, seemingly all clad in a suit of iron, with only a pair of glowing, orange-red eyes blazing from the slits in his helmet.
He'd step before the Vishus Warlord, holding his hand up in a fist which ordered his Clanrats to stop. Each of them were armed in more than sufficient armor, unlike the rags and scraps of leather that the usual riff-raff of Skaven wore, all hammered into the usual Skaven aesthetic, but each piece was made out of Mithril. Same for the blades, axes and hammers that were slung to their hips or over their backs.
"Warlord Skreech." Ferrik's voice was unnaturally deep and booming, as if it echoed all around them. "I, Warlord Ferrik Hardfang, give you my most sincere greetings."
Warlord Skreech couldn't help but stare at these Clanrats. He even walked over to the nearest one, closely inspecting the armor---entranced by the gleaming silvery metal. Of course, he soon turned his attention to the metal giant calling his name.
"Well-well met, Warlord Ferrik Hardfang," Skreech bowed his head. "Great-mighty you must-must be to have taken huge hoards from Dwarf-things, yes-yes..."
"What does Skreech have-hold that Ferrik wants-desires?"

[Link to Part 1] [Link to Part 2] [Link to Part 3]
Vada (Greetings)! Welcome to my Kaênaasthan Pantheon Series. In this series I will be outlining the Devis (Gods) in the Kaênaasthan Pantheon; their domains, affiliations, and what is sacred to them.

Aphroditê-Kamakshi is a canonic transgender Devi/Goddess in Kaênaastha. These beams roamed the highs and lows of the Earth - and one beam in particular shone over the ocean, and settled on the severed phallus of Ouranos. From this Aphroditê-Kamakshi was born.

Child of Asteria-Chandra and Persês-Rudra, and twin to Hekatê-Kali, Dionysus-Shiva is a gender-fluid pansexual Devi. He primarily exists in his AMAB non-binary form of Dionysus-Shiva, but on occasion takes on a female form as Dionysus-Shakti.
He is the Devi that rules over alcohol, cannabis, and hallucinogens - and intoxication as an act of devotion is very common among his devotees.
He has no official consorts and no children.

Apollôn-Krishna has one human consort, Hyacinth, and together they have one child - Aristaeus. Aristaeus is the Imīsy (Kaênaasthan Demi-God) of Bees.

Happy Solar New Year! Happy Songkran! Happy Sankrati! Puthaandu Vaazhthukal! Happy Vasiakhi! Vishu Ashamsakal!
List of celebrations that occur within the next few days
Songkran is the Thai New Year, and it derived from the Sanskrit word संक्रान्ति saṅkrānti meaning 'to move' or 'to step forward'. It marks the movement of the Sun from Pisces to Aries in the zodiac, indicating the beginning of a new year in the Hindu Solar calendar.
The celebration covers a period of three days: 13 April is regarded as Maha Songkran, the day that the sun moves into Aries on the zodiac or the last day of the old year. The next day, 14 April is called Wan Nao, the transitional day between the old and the new years, and 15 April is called Wan Thaloeng Sok (Thai: วันเถลิงศก 'to begin a new era or year'), New Year's day itself.
Songkran is regarded as one of the most important traditions in Thailand because it encompasses the three major values in the Thai way of life which are:
Value of family: Songkran is the time when family members come together to show appreciation, love and respect as well as making merit and paying homage to their ancestors.
Value of society: Through active participation and interaction with each other, Songkran brings the people in the community together to enhance goodwill and unity in the society.
Value of religion: Making merit by offering food to monks. going to the temples and attending Buddhist sermons are auspicious activities done during Songkran.
To celebrate Songkran, there are many activities throughout Thailand which vary according to regional tradition. Some of the activities include:
Cleaning of houses and public places such as temples, schools, offices to welcome the New Year with cleanliness and fresh start.
Merit making by offering alms to monks in dedication to the late ancestors, going to the temples to listen to Buddhist preaching.
Releasing birds and fish back to their natural habitat is a common practice during Songkran. This act of giving freedom is a form of merit making.
Sprinkling water onto Buddha images and monks is an auspicious act to receive blessings for the New Year, representing purification and the washing away of one's sins and bad luck.
Building sand pagodas on temple ground. Bringing sand into the temple's premise is considered a merit because the sand can be used or reused for construction or restoration of the temple.
Pouring water onto the elderly members of the family and/or the society to show respect and gratefulness and to ask for their blessing.
Folk performances and traditional games are organised for enjoyment as well as to preserve the Songkran tradition.
Throwing water at each other in a friendly manner by using clean or scented water, exchanging New Year's greetings during water play, and in case of doubt, ask permission before throwing water at someone because he or she may not wish to get wet.

Ef Shubnum .. and Ef Ravi from Belize 🇧🇿 .. to all around the Globe .. love and affection from your Ef Family of the Blog .. keep well .. ❤️🙏🏻🚩
..
a wasteful day .. they happen when the mind is in concern elsewhere and the work gets derailed elsewhere .. some inventive thoughts and ideas do make presentations but .. yes it is still to be seen ..
what is seen is ..

this the reason for the notes of oblivion and the thoughts portray how music and its environ can and will envelop all beings .. in the sublime strains of the everyday lives of us ..
and a weakness penetrates the system .. it gives enough to be able to differentiate, man and animal .. or man and animalistic preoccupations ..
in time they shall all seek the exits of routes that never existed ..
that is the final test ..

Amitabh Bachchan
SAT 11:31 AM , Jalsa Mumbai
so they tell me its 15 years .. Anniversary of the BLOG !!
AND THE TEMPERAMENT OF THE WASTEFUL DAY HAS SIMPLY DISAPPEARED .. 🤣
my gracious gratitude to all the Ef .. the credit goes to them .. they built the family .. they continued to gather and coordinate and come together for all these years .. a humble beginning , that was made into a World of its own ..
the love and affection for each other .. the voices of correctness .. the care for all .. at times the bickering .. but in the end , … FAMILY ..
so I fold my hands in gratitude to the Ef for keeping this HOME alive and this FAMILY together ..
