Oh Ireland. What an adventure I had my first time in Ireland... For spring break while studying abroad my friends and I decided to travel to London and Ireland. We traveled to a few cities in Ireland. However things went nuts right at the end of spring break when we were in Dublin. An Icelandic Volcano, Eyjafjallajökull, erupted and effectively shut down all flights across Europe. I’m other words, were were stranded on an island nation! Therefore, we had to figure out how to get back to Salzburg from Ireland without flying. In the end, we took two ferries and 7 trains over the course of 4 days to get home. Although it was stressful at the time, looking back we got to visit some places I never would have thought of visiting and I got a cool story out of it! Several years later I was able to go back and spend a week going around the entire island. What is the craziest thing that has happened to you while traveling? . . . #visitireland #eyjafjallajökull #visitcork #blarneystone #giftofgab #stanneschurch #shandonbells #travelingteacher #teacherlife #teachergram #travelwithfathom #teachersofinstagram #shewhowanders #traveldreaming #bucketliattravel #inspiredtravels #traveladventures #wanderingwomen #girlsvsglobe #girldiscoverers #gltlove #globe_travel #ladieslovetravel #globelletravel #girlmeetsglobe #darlingescapes #ladiesgoneglobal #traveldreamseekers #realtravelseekers #traveltribe (at Cork, Ireland) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_aor8UAvnx/?igshid=155gua30sq7zf
